Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of athletes' concentration instruments by finding their validity and reliability levels and categorizing their concentration levels. The method used is quantitative descriptive with a survey approach and uses a type of trial design. The subjects of this study were 20 sports students who were members of the Handball Student Activity Unit at STKIP Pasundan. The instrument tested is a concentration test in the Concentration Grid Test (CGT) application developed by the Stalwart Group LLC company with a total of 36 boxes, consisting of 6 rows and 6 columns. The research data was collected using the test method, where the test was carried out as many as two repetitions. This type of data analysis uses the Pearson correlation method approach for validity, which analyzes the data of the first test result with the average of the test results, while for reliability it uses the test-retest technique and for the determination of categorization using the interval class length search approach technique. The results of the study found that the validity value for this instrument is r = 0.980 and the value for reliability is r = 0.931, so this is included in the very high category. As for the categorization, it is divided into five categories, namely very good, good, medium, less and less once.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Kota Cimahi. 2) Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat Indeks Massa Tubuh siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Kota Cimahi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif melalui pendekatan survei. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengukur kebugaran jasmani dan indeks massa tubuh yaitu : 1) Kebugaran Jasmani menggunakan TKJI untuk usia 16-19 tahun, 2) Indeks Massa Tubuh menggunakan pengukuran IMT. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Kota Cimahi sebayak 341 orang. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X-2 sebanyak 33 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Kota Cimahi pasca pandemi covid-19 berada pada kategori kurang, sedangkan keadaan indeks massa tubuhnya berada pada kategori normal. Walaupun fasilitas pembelajaran di sekolah dirasakan kurang, dan masa pendemi telah berakhir, diharapkan guru dapat membuat program pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani dan menjaga indeks massa tubuh para siswanya, dan siswa tidak banyak bermain gadet.

Abstract

Background: Research on the relationship between physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle has become widespread, and most studies show that the two are related. However, these studies still indirectly examine the relationship between physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle, especially in junior high school students. Objective: This research aims to determine whether there is a relationship between physical fitness and the level of a healthy lifestyle. Methods: This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a correlational design. This research used the population of the author, which was all eighth-grade students at Negeri 6 Cimahi Junior High School; there were ten classes totaling 380 students. The sample was eighth-grade students from 10 Cimahi 6 State Junior High School classes, with 37 students. The research instruments chosen were questionnaires for healthy lifestyles and the TKSI (Indonesian Student Fitness Test) for physical fitness. The IBM SPSS version 26 software was used to help with the data analysis in this investigation. Result: The correlation study results between physical fitness and the degree of a healthy lifestyle revealed a substantial positive association between the two, with a p-value of 0.007 < 0.05 and a correlation coefficient of 0.434 in the medium category. Conclusion: Based on the research results, the author can conclude that there is a relationship between physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle and the level of a healthy lifestyle in junior high school students. This research implies that programs regarding healthy lifestyles must be given to students, so it is hoped that students will have good physical fitness.

Abstract

This study aimed to measure teachers' perceptions regarding the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in physical education. A descriptive quantitative survey approach was employed, with a population of 20 teachers from nine high schools in Cimahi City. The sampling technique used was total sampling, and a teacher perception questionnaire instrument was used to collect data.The data analysis revealed that teachers' perceptions regarding the use of ICT in physical education were low, with a percentage of 40%. This finding suggests that teachers' perceptions are influenced by a lack of understanding and use of ICT in schools, which can impact teachers' low perceptions regarding the use of ICT.The results of this study have implications for teacher education and professional development programs, highlighting the need for relevant training and support to enhance teachers' confidence and competence in using ICT in physical education. Furthermore, this study contributes to the existing literature on the use of ICT in physical education, emphasizing the importance of addressing teachers' perceptions and needs in order to promote the effective integration of ICT in physical education.

Abstract

Fitness is still an important study in life. The study of physical fitness is still a problem that seems to be currently a polemic among elementary school students. This happens because of a shift in physical activity habits in student life. The purpose of this study was to find out an overview of the impact of a Sport Monopoly Games (SMG) game on students' physical fitness. A total of 105 students spread across the Cimahi City, Indonesia area participated in this research, namely schools in the northern, central and southern regions. The research method uses experiments with research design one shoot case study. The instrument uses a measuring instrument in the form of the Indonesian Student Fitness Test (TKSI) Phase C, which consists of five test items: 1) Child Ball; 2) Tok Tok Ball; 3) Shuttle Run 4x10 m Get ball; 4) Move the Ball; 5) Run 600 m. The data analysis used a percentage approach, and using the tools of Ms Excel 2019 and IBM SPSS version 26 programs. Average physical fitness score from the northern region is greater at 15.6 than the other two regions, namely the central region 15.4 and the southern region 14.9. However, if you look at the TKSI value category table, the three regions on average have the same fitness level, which is in the medium category. The results of the study found that the average student had a moderate level of physical fitness after being given treatment using SMG. Physical education teachers can apply this game in physical fitness materials at school, so that the learning process is not monotonous and a little challenging for students.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi dampak digitalisasi pada pembelajaran Penjas, mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi oleh pendidik dan siswa, serta mengeksplorasi strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Penjas melalui teknologi digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dan wawancara untuk mengumpulkan data. Subjek kegiatan ini adalah siswa dan guru Penjas di sekolah menengah di Kota cimahi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran Penjas masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan. Sebanyak 70% dari guru melaporkan kurangnya keterampilan digital sebagai hambatan utama, sementara 60% dari siswa menyatakan bahwa mereka kurang termotivasi untuk mengikuti pembelajaran daring. Namun, ada juga potensi besar untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran Penjas melalui teknologi, dengan 80% siswa mengindikasikan bahwa mereka lebih suka menggunakan aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis video yang interaktif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun terdapat berbagai tantangan dalam implementasi pembelajaran Penjas di era digital, teknologi digital memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Diperlukan pelatihan keterampilan digital bagi pendidik, peningkatan akses terhadap perangkat teknologi, dan pengembangan konten pembelajaran yang interaktif untuk mengatasi kendala yang ada dan memaksimalkan manfaat dari teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran Penjas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas pendekatan bermain dalam meningkatkan keterampilan forehand drive tenis meja pada anak usia 12–13 tahun. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 30 siswa SMPN 3 saguling yang dibagi dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang menerima latihan dengan pendekatan bermain, dan kelompok kontrol yang menerima latihan konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group desain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan pendekatan bermain mengalami peningkatan keterampilan yang lebih signifikan dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Rata-rata skor pada tes awal kelompok eksperimen adalah 45,2, yang meningkat menjadi 72,6 pada tes akhir, dengan peningkatan sebesar 27,4 poin. Sementara itu, kelompok kontrol menunjukkan peningkatan dari 44,9 menjadi 58,3, dengan peningkatan sebesar 13,4 poin. Uji independen menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan peningkatan antara kedua kelompok sangat signifikan (p=0,001), yang mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan bermain lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan forehand drive.

Abstract

Several pencak silat schools in Bandung in particular often carry out training at night. The pencak silat school at BTC performs this exercise from 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM. It is very interesting to research, especially its impact on physical fitness and overall healthThe purpose of this study is to assess how engaging in pencak silat training during the evening affects physical fitness. This investigation employs an ex post facto approach with a Contilation research design. The participants in this research were individuals who are part of the Pencak Silat Pencak Silat Faithful Heart Terate Brotherhood in Bandung City. The research instrument uses the Multistage Fitness Test. Using quantitative survey data analysis techniques. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that there was an influence for training pencak silat focuses on physical fitness and takes place in the evening.. The results of the study showed that members of the Bandung City Pencak Silat Brotherhood Setia Hati Terate had a diverse distribution of fitness levels: 13.6% had a low fitness level, 40.9% had a medium fitness level, 36.4% had a fair fitness level, 9.1 % achieved a good level of fitness, while none achieved a high level of fitness. Consequently, it can be inferred that practicing pencak silat at nighttime yields favorable results, even though it is not significant or only reaches a moderate fitness level. This is mainly due to the intensity of training which tends to be low and does not increase consistently over time, resulting in slow and non-optimal physical improvement.

Abstract

Pengembangan keterampilan motorik pada anak usia dini merupakan aspek penting dalam mendukung tumbuh kembang mereka secara optimal [1]. Tumbuhkembang ini akan berkorelasi dengan tingkat kebugaran jasmani [2]. Permasalahan yang sering ditemukan adalah kurangnya aktivitas fisik yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak, sehingga menghambat perkembangan motorik kasar mereka. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik anak melalui pendekatan kebugaran jasmani berbasis permainan [3]. Program ini dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan sekaligus mendukung kebugaran fisik. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan beberapa tahapan utama, yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan, desain program permainan fisik, pelatihan fasilitator, implementasi program, serta evaluasi dan penyempurnaan. Permainan dirancang dengan mempertimbangkan aspek usia dan kemampuan anak, serta melibatkan partisipasi aktif orang tua dan pendidik. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di wilayah tertentu dengan karakteristik anak-anak usia dini, fasilitas terbatas, dan kesadaran masyarakat yang perlu ditingkatkan terkait pentingnya aktivitas fisik. Hasil yang diharapkan dari program ini mencakup peningkatan keterampilan motorik kasar anak, peningkatan pemahaman orang tua dan pendidik mengenai pentingnya kebugaran jasmani, serta panduan berbasis permainan yang dapat digunakan secara berkelanjutan. Target luaran program meliputi publikasi ilmiah, modul pelatihan, panduan kebugaran jasmani, dan laporan dokumentasi kegiatan. Program ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam mendukung perkembangan motorik anak usia dini, meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya kebugaran jasmani, serta menjadi model yang dapat diimplementasikan di berbagai wilayah lain

Abstract

Background. Physical fitness is an important component of daily activities. This is especially true for police personnel, but many staff members at the Indonesian Police Staff and Command College find it difficult to maintain due to time constraints and sedentary work. Objectives. This study aimed to develop and assess an application-based fitness training model tailored to their needs, using biomotor components and the FITT principle. Methods. A research and development method based on the ADDIE framework was employed. Tests that evaluate endurance, strength, flexibility, and coordination are given before and after the 12-session intervention involving 70 people. All fitness metrics, such as the amount of land covered in running 12 minutes, the number of push-ups and sit-ups, and agility measured by running running, shows important benefits in the results. A statistical analysis verified the intervention's efficacy. Results. The model was validated by experts and received positive user feedback, particularly for its accessibility and practicality. In addition, based on the results of the effectiveness test using paired sample t-test analysis, it is proven that with the model developed can significantly increase the physical fitness of Sespim staff personnel. Conclusion. This study demonstrates that a structured, time-efficient, and scientifically grounded mobile application can enhance physical fitness in law enforcement contexts. It contributes to digital health innovation and offers a scalable solution for improving occupational fitness in other high-demand sectors.
