Abstract

This study aims to optimize the application of SBAR communication during handovers between nursing shifts. This research method is a case study with a situation analysis. The results showed that the application of SBAR communication was not optimal when handing over patients between nursing shifts. Innovations are developed by making additional recommendations for SBAR SOPs and monitoring and evaluation drafts referring to the literature. A trial of money filling can be carried out. In conclusion, it is necessary to have a supervisor (Karu) whose function is to direct nurses, especially in the implementation of the handover, so that the nurse will carry out the weigh-in following the direction of the head of the room and the SOP that applies in the room regarding the implementation of the handover. Abstract

Cancer is a cellular disease characterised by disruption or failure of multi-application regulatory mechanisms and other homeostasis functions in multicellular organisms. Basically, cancer can occur due to genetic changes (mutations), especially in the gene that regulates growth, namely oncogenes. Self-concept is a mental representation that a person has of who they are, including self-assessment, body image, self-esteem, and social roles. For women with cervical cancer, their self-concept is often disrupted due to physical, emotional, and social changes that occur during the treatment process Objective: This study uses a systematic review approach to examine the effect of SEFT on the formation of self-concept of patients with cancer. This literature study uses search engine databases namely ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Pubmed, and Scopus, with article publications ranging from 2018 to 2024. The literature search strategy involved keywords related to the topic and title of the study, namely: "Massage" OR "foot massage" OR "reflexiology" AND "Fatigue" AND "Haemodialysis" OR "Chronic kidney disease" AND "Randomised Control" OR "Clinical Trial". 6 articles showing effective results of SEFT application in various populations. The results of this literature study show that SEFT therapy has been shown to improve the self-concept of patients with cancer. The Spiritual Emotional Freedom (SEFT) technique has shown a promising effect on cancer patients' self-concept by addressing emotional and spiritual well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze bedside handover problems using the role and function management approach. The research method used is a case study through analysis with a fishbone diagram, compiling innovations with Lewin's 3-step model approach. The results showed an increase in bedside handover compliance from 44% to 94.25%, the ineffectiveness of SBAR communication affected the observation results, verbally nurses understood the SOP for bedside handover, with the planning of the head of the room. In conclusion, there are obstacles and barriers to implementing this innovation such as the head of the room who also handles patients because there is an increase in patients and staff who are absent due to illness, CI / Katim / PPJA who handle patients with the same number as associate nurses so that the socialization and supervision process carried out in stages is not optimal. Abstract

This study aims to identify interventions that can be used in managing symptoms of post-chemotherapy nausea and vomiting in cancer patients. The method used was a systematic review by searching five databases including Google Scholar, Portal Garuda, Moraref, and Demension regarding what interventions can be done in dealing with nausea and vomiting conditions in cancer patients, with a publication range from 2000 to 2024. 7131 articles were obtained at the beginning of the data search, after filtering with the PRISMA 2020 method, the final result was 8 articles to be analysed using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) checklist. Seven of these articles used intervention studies. The results of the study showed that there are several interventions that can be carried out. One of the most frequently used interventions is acupressure intervention and the use of aromatherapy in overcoming nausea and vomiting of cancer patients after chemotherapy. It is expected that nurses who work in the chemotherapy room can apply this intervention to patients who experience post-chemotherapy nausea and vomiting.
