Through a survey conducted on 175 respondents from alumni of BPVP Padang training participants in 2023, research data processing was carried out using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) method, with the type of Structure Equation Modeling (SEM) used, namely Smart PLS. The results of the study showed that digital literacy has a direct effect on employability, but is not mediated by self-efficacy. This finding indicates the importance of digital literacy to increase employability.

Abstract

Commitment of nurses to hospitals remains a challenge in human resource management. One factor influencing organizational commitment is ethical climate, an individual's perception of values, norms, and moral standards in the work environment. A positive ethical climate is believed to increase nurses' loyalty and emotional attachment to the institution. This study aims to analyze the effect of ethical climate on organizational commitment among nurses in government hospitals in Padang City, Indonesia. This is a quantitative explanatory study with a sample of 69 nurses who met the inclusion criteria, taken by proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed with SmartPLS. The results showed a significant positive effect of the ethical climate of benevolence and principles (caring, independent, law and code, rules) on organizational commitment (T-statistic 7.715; P value 0.000; sample mean 0.745, R square 0.440), and there was no effect of instrumental climate on organizational commitment. A positive ethical climate that reflects caring, compliance with rules, and the principle that every action and decision is based on personal or professional standards can strengthen nurses' commitment to the organization. Strengthening ethical culture is important in building sustainable and quality-oriented health services.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the critical importance of strategic human resource management in addressing the increasingly complex competition within the banking sector. The primary objective of this research is to examine the influence of employer branding on employee performance, with organizational commitment acting as a mediating variable, at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Branch Office Pariaman. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing a survey method involving marketing employees at the BRI Pariaman Branch. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM–PLS) technique. The employer branding construct was measured through five key dimensions: interest value, social value, economic value, development value, and application value. Organizational commitment was assessed using three dimensions: affective, continuance, and normative commitment. Meanwhile, employee performance was evaluated based on quality, quantity, and timeliness indicators. The results revealed that employer branding has a direct and significant positive effect on employee performance. However, employer branding was found to have no significant positive effect on organizational commitment. Consequently, organizational commitment does not serve as a mediating variable in the relationship between employer branding and employee performance. From a practical standpoint, the findings suggest that BRI management should integrate the core values of employer branding into their human capital strategies, foster a collaborative work culture, and provide clear career development pathways. Theoretically, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of the relationship between employer branding, organizational commitment, and employee performance, particularly within the context of the financial services industry.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Islamic Work Ethics (IWE) and Affective Commitments (AC) on Teacher Performance (TP) at Insan Cendekia Boarding School Payakumbuh, with Job Satisfaction (JS) as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data from 152 randomly selected teachers using structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0, encompassing descriptive analysis, measurement and structural model evaluations, and hypothesis testing. The results reveal that Islamic work ethics significantly improve job satisfaction but do not directly affect teacher performance. However, job satisfaction mediates the relationship, enabling Islamic work ethics to enhance performance indirectly. Similarly, affective commitments positively influence both job satisfaction and teacher performance, with job satisfaction playing a significant mediating role. These findings underscore the critical role of job satisfaction in amplifying the impact of ethical practices and emotional commitment on teacher performance. The research highlights the need for a holistic approach in educational management that integrates Islamic values, emotional engagement, and teacher well-being to foster a high-performing environment. Practical implications include promoting job satisfaction through fair compensation, professional growth opportunities, and a supportive work atmosphere to ensure teacher excellence in boarding schools.
