Abstract

The development of digitalization is getting faster, along with the growth in internet usage. Data from Kominfo, internet users in Indonesia, grow 10.2 percent annually or around 27 million users, when compared to internet users in the world, Indonesia is ranked 5th. This condition makes a very drastic change in the marketing world, namely a system change from conventional to digital. The need to conduct research on the use of digital marketing in SMEs is very important. The purpose of this study is to develop an understanding of research related to digital marketing in SMEs, and find research gaps in research published between 2015 and 2020. To analyze and reviewing literature on the theme of digital marketing in SMEs, using systematic analysis and classifying published data from marketing journals, economics, business and management journals as well as IT journals that can be accessed online. The results show. There is a research gap in the field of digital marketing, to fill it, research is needed to investigate the opportunities created by digital marketing for SMEs in Indonesia.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine and build a conceptual model regarding the effect of the effectiveness of service quality on the level of customer trust in the port sector in Indonesia. This study explores the value and need to significantly increase competitiveness in the port industry by identifying empirically in improving service quality as well as looking for whether the promotion of policies carried out can affect customer trust. Research design, data and methodology based on online survey by distributing questionnaires with ship owners and ship management. In this study, samples were taken by accident as many as 100 representative ships accessing anchorage services in the waters of the Indonesian archipelago. The estimation results of the regression model show that there is a linear relationship between service quality, policy promotion and the interaction between the two and service quality on the object of this study has an impact on customer trust.

Abstract

The article discusses in more depth as a preliminary study on the development of green entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship performance seen from the aspect of culture and motivation. Articles are compiled using the literature study method. Literature study is done by looking at the results of the research and the instruments that can be used for preliminary studies. Green entrepreneurship is now getting better, with increasing concern for the environment from various circles of society, especially for companies, especially MSMEs. Another aspect that triggers the development of green entrepreneurship is culture and motivation. With these two aspects, it is expected to be able to improve entrepreneurial performance.

Abstract

At the end of 2019, a case of pneumonia caused by the corona virus was first discovered in the city of Wuhan, China. The disease then began to spread around the world quickly and became known as Covid-19. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a tremendous impact on various aspects of life, one of which is the economic aspect, including the financial condition of various companies. As one of the companies affected by the Covid-19 virus, namely PT Jasa Raharja West Sumatra Branch. Since the Covid-19 virus pandemic, many changes have occurred and various efforts have been made within PT Jasa Raharja's West Sumatra Branch to break the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 virus and also to stabilize the company's financial condition and improve employee performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. some of them by providing training and motivational activities to their employees. This study aims to analyze the effect of training mediated by motivation on employee performance during the Covid-19 pandemic, carried out on 49 permanent employees of PT Jasa Raharja West Sumatra Branch through the distribution of questionnaires, then the data obtained was processed using the SmartPLS software version 3.3. The results of the research conducted, it was found that motivation is proven to have a partially mediating role on the relationship between training and employee performance of PT Jasa Raharja West Sumatra Branch, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Job Insecurity on Job Performance with Affective Commitment as a Mediating Variable Post Covid-19 Pandemic (Case Study: Four Star Hotel employees in Padang City). The data processing was carried out through Smart-PLS. There was a total of 155 samples collected using purposive sampling method. The results showed that a) job insecurity has a negative but not significant effect on employee performance, b) job insecurity has a negative and significant effect on affective commitment, c) affective commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, d) affective commitment mediates the relationship between job insecurity on employee performance.

Abstract

The idea of Smart City Development has become a trend for the last 10 years. The key concept in this development emphasizes collaboration. Providing concepts, building designs, up to the implementation of building cities that are able to accommodate various interests. But how does this vision relate to current practice in cities? This paper discusses the role of stakeholders who collaborate and build cooperation networks for the development of Smart City. The approach used in this article is a form of collaboration and the idea of a "quadruple helix" for urban innovation. quadruple helix model as a smart city design principle in which technological and social innovations result from cooperation and synergy between four stakeholder groups: administration, business, science, and residents. This study finds information that each entity has a major role in the development of Smart City. Then there is the need for other entities in other helix models that need to be involved in the development of smart cities in urban settings.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the impact of employee engagement and resistance to change on readiness for change with perceived organizational support as an intervening variable in change management at PT Pertamina (Persero). Readiness for change is an important thing that must be considered by companies when implementing change management. Aspects of human resources that affect readiness for change are employee engagement, resistance to change, and perceived organizational support. In this case, the researcher focuses on perceived organizational support variable as an intervening variable that links employee engagement and resistance to change with readiness for change. The population of this research were employees of PT Pertamina (Persero) with a sample of 154 people. The analytical method used descriptive statistical analysis and factor description analysis using SPSS V.23 and SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that employee engagement and resistance to change have a positive and negative impact on perceived organizational support; employee engagement and perceived organizational support have no impact on readiness for change; resistance to change has a negative impact on readiness for change; employee engagement and resistance to change have no impact on readiness for change with perceived organizational support as intervening variable.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of transactional leadership style and job satisfaction on employee performance, as well as the mediating contribution of organizational commitment, by using a total sampling technique of 50 employees, then the data analyzed by assisting of SPSS V 26, Mc. Excel, and PLS software 3.3. We found that transactional leadership has a negative but not significant on employee performance, negative and significant on commitment, while job satisfaction has a positive and significant on employee performance and commitment. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant on employee performance. Transactional leadership on employee performance through commitment has a significant negative effect, while job satisfaction on employee performance through commitment has a positive and significant with the total mediation both effects categorized partial mediation.

Abstract

The discussion of this review is motivated by the problems of multinational companies, especially in Australia, America and Indonesia, which prefer tax planning efforts with Tax avoidance. The purpose of this paper is knowledge of tax planning in multinational companies that occur as a result of business transactions. The results of the discussion prove that each country carries out tax avoidance using 2 (two) measurements, namely the Effective Tax Rate (ETR) and Book Tax Differences (BTD). This writing describes the reasons why business people do tax planning by tax avoidance, which can be explained, namely: 1) Tax laws that cannot be obeyed by companies and provide high costs in fulfilling them. 2) The value of the tax payable becomes large due to the process of calculation errors and deposits as well as tax reporting. 3) The company feels that it is necessary to do tax planning in order to implement tax obligations and fulfill the tax provisions that have been determined, so as not to invite suspicion from tax inspectors, 4) Good public morals in tax reporting. Finally, it is suggested to the readers that the scope of this paper is in accordance with the cases that occurred in several reviewed journals, hopefully it will provide benefits and positive contributions. 4) Good community morale in tax reporting. Abstract

Background: The Covid-19 virus attack has had a great impact on human life in the world and has changed many important aspects of life such as health, the economy, politics, and also security. It has also led to changes in working methods and also human interaction within the organization. As one of the agencies affected by the Covid-19 virus, namely the Class I Immigration Office of TPI Padang. Since the Covid-19 virus pandemic, many changes have occurred and various efforts have been made within the Class I Immigration Office of TPI Padang to break the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 virus, one of which is by working from home for ASN. Objective: This study aims to examine and build a conceptual model of the effect of work-life balance and work environment mediated by work stress on job satisfaction in ASN employees. Methods: This study used a non-probability sampling technique with the sample used being 72 civil servants through the distribution of questionnaires. Results: This study found that work trends do not mediate the effect between work-life balance and work environment on job satisfaction in employees of the Class I Immigration Office of TPI Padang. Conclusion: The Class I Immigration Office of TPI Padang has provided appropriate working hours so that the personal life and working life of employees can be balanced and the existing work environment of the TPI Padang Class I Immigration Office provides a sense of security and comfort to employees. With a sense of security and a sense of comfort at work, employee job satisfaction will increase.
