Abstract

The urgency of the study is to analyze the effect of perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, and facilitating conditions on the intention to use the TikTok application service in the generation Z group in Indonesia. This research instrument uses an online questionnaire distributed to 210 respondents who are none other than users of the TikTok application from the generation Z group. Next, the researchers tested the hypothesis using a variant-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) called Partial Least Square (PLS) and the SmartPLS version of the application. 3.0 as a tool to analyze it. The results of this research conclude that perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment and facilitating conditions have a positive and significant effect on intention to use. The results of this research prove that factors such as perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, and facilitating conditions are important components in the formation of intention to use, so for TikTok application developers this can be taken into consideration for the improvement of TikTok application services in the future. Urgensi penelitian untuk menganalisis pengaruh perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, dan facilitating conditions terhadap intention to use layanan aplikasi TikTok pada kelompok generasi Z di Indonesia. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner online yang dibagikan kepada 210 respoden yang tidak lain adalah pengguna aplikasi TikTok yang berasal dari kelompok generasi Z. Selanjutnya peneliti menguji hipotesis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis varian yang disebut Partial Least Square (PLS) dan aplikasi SmartPLS versi 3.0 sebagai alat untuk menganalisisnya. Hasil dari riset ini menyimpulkan faktor perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment dan facilitating conditions berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap intention to use. Hasil riset ini membuktikan bahwa faktor seperti perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, dan facilitating conditions merupakan komponen penting dalam pembentukkan intention to use, sehingga bagi pengembang aplikasi TikTok hal ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan pertimbangan guna penyempurnaaan layanan aplikasi TikTok di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Technological advancements fueled by the internet revolution have transformed the financial services industry's image, resulting in modifications to electronic financial services. These service changes can be seen in almost all forms of financial services, such as banking, insurance, and stock trading, which are carried out using electronic media, such as E-wallets services. The primary purpose of this study is to determine the behavior of the Millennial class for digital wallet applications in terms of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, trust, social influence. This study utilized a quantitative method using exploratory surveys and online questionnaires, as well as a literature and field research design. For data analysis, this research uses the Smart PLS application with the PLS-SEM approach oriented. Data was collected using non-probability sampling using a purposive sampling approach, yielding a sample size of 146 respondents for this research. This research provides information about the behavior of using digital wallet applications, which are significantly influenced by perceived ease of use, trust, and social influence. Furthermore, the Perceived Usefulness factor does not significantly impact the behavior of using digital wallet applications. These findings highlight the importance of trust as a motivator for customers when utilizing an E-Wallet application. It is preferable to expand the number of study samples in order to appropriately generalize findings, as well as to include research factors that are believed to influence behavioral intention to use. This research will look at the effects of perceived ease of use, perceived utility, trust, and social influence on Generation Millennial behavior when it comes to using digital wallets.

Abstract

Professional teachers must be able to carry out dual roles as practitioners as well as researchers. As researchers, teachers are required to be able to improve the quality of learning through classroom action research to solve problems that occur in class. Even so, there are still many teachers who have not been able to carry out classroom action research properly. This community service is a classroom action research training activity for SMP Kota Pematang Siantar teachers. The purpose of this community service is to increase the ability and knowledge of SMP Kota Pematang Siantar teachers in writing class action research reports. This activity was carried out with the principles of heutagogy and direct practice. The activity was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Pematang Siantar City on 17-22 January 2022 and was attended by 30 teachers from SMP Negeri 1 Pematang Siantar who were proposing a promotion to TMT April 2022. This community service activities were carried out through the stages of preparation, implementation and evaluation. At the preparatory stage, a pre-test was given and continued with the delivery of material related to the basic concepts of classroom action research. The implementation stage was accompanied by teacher assistance in compiling classroom action research reports based on the proposals prepared by the teacher as independent assignments. At the evaluation stage a post-test was carried out to measure the ability and knowledge of the teacher after attending the training. The evaluation results show that there were 28 reports generated from 30 participants as training outputs. In addition, there was an increase in the average score obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test. Community service through classroom action research training has given positive results to increasing the competence of SMP Kota Pematang Siantar teachers in writing classroom action research.

Abstract

Saat ini, setiap pegawai dalam perusahaan tidak hanya dituntut untuk menguasai kompetensi hardskill tetapi juga dituntut untuk menguasai kompetensi softskill. PTPN-IV merupakan Badan Usaha Milik Negara yang bergerak di bidang agroindustri dan semua pegawai di PTPN-IV dituntut untuk menguasai kompetensi hardskill dan softskill. Sejauh ini, PTPN-IV telah menyelenggarakan pendidikan dan pelatihan bagi pegawainya. Namun pendidikan dan pelatihan yang diselenggarakan selama ini lebih menekankan pada peningkatan hard skill dibandingkan softskill. Oleh karena itu, perlu diselenggarakan pendidikan dan pelatihan yang menyeimbangkan antara hard skill dan softskill pegawai. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat diselenggarakan di Pusat Pendidikan dan Pelatihan PTPN IV, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Sumatera Utara. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 12 orang pegawai yang merupakan operator motor diesel penggerak generator listrik kelas I. Pengabdian masyarakat diselenggarakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi softskill pegawai dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Kegiatan ini dimulai dari pra diklat mencakup survei lokasi, pelaksanaan diklat mencakup pre-test, praktik softskill dan pasca diklat mencakup post-test hingga refleksi. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatkan kompetensi softskill pegawai terutama dalam hal komunikasi, kreativitas, kepemimpinan dan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

The main objective of the research is to analyze the effect of e-service quality, price and consumer trust on the loyalty of online transportation users. The research method uses quantitative research. Based on the results of data analysis, e-service quality, price and consumer trust have a positive and significant effect on the loyalty of online transportation users. The implications of this research confirms that efforts to provide satisfactory user experience, fast and efficient service, good communication, qualified drivers, effective problem solving, and create a good reputation, online transportation platforms can strengthen user loyalty.

Abstract

Urgensi dilakukanya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dengan tema penyuluhan pemanfaatan digital marketing sebagai alternatif pemasaran 4.0 bagi pelaku UKM Ulos di Kota Pematangsiantar ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai digital marketing serta pelatihan penerapan digital marketing menggunakan platform E-Commerce. Metode yang di gunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu melalui ceramah dan praktik langsung penerapan digital marketing. Tahapan pelaksanaan acara ini meliputi pembukaan dan pengenalan digital marketing, pemaparan tentang digital marketing, pemaparan tentang beberapa masalah yang sering dihadapi pelaku UKM Ulos, kemudian dilanjutkan praktik yang berkaitan dengan digital marketing. Setelah kegiatan pengabdian selesai, maka dilakukan wawancara lanjutan mengenai dampak pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian. Sesuai dengan hasil wawancara diketahui pemahaman pelaku UKM Ulos terkait pemanfaatan digital meningkat 90%.

Abstract

The development of a digital marketing-based business model at the Kurdut Garage Workshop in Pematangsiantar has a very important urgency in facing the ever-growing era of digitalization. The method used in implementing this activity is through lectures and FGD (group discussion forum). The stages of implementing this event include explaining the fundamentals of being an entrepreneur, explaining several problems that entrepreneurs often face, then continuing with discussions related to developing new businesses. After the service activities are completed, follow-up interviews are conducted regarding the impact of implementing the service activities. By the results of the interview, it is known that the understanding of Kurdut Garage Workshop business owners regarding knowledge of the use of digital marketing has increased by 90%. The use of digital media is useful and can increase understanding and skills for partners. Therefore, it is recommended that sustainable methods of mentoring partners can be used as a solution to increase business size and also function as a means of company adaptation to increase business scale.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, price, and promotion on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. This study was conducted among TableTop Board Game Cafe customers. The dependent variable, customer loyalty (Y), was mediated by the intervening variable (Z), and the independent variables were product quality (X1), price (X2), and promotion (X3). This study used a quantitative approach with a non-probability sampling technique involving 100 respondents. Data processing was performed using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results showed that product quality, price, and promotion did not have a significant direct effect on customer loyalty. However, all three variables significantly influenced customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction was shown to have a significant direct effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The use of digital technology, especially in today's payment system, is increasingly having a significant influence on the development of business businesses, especially culinary. There is a view explaining emerging technologies to optimize the potential for collaboration and collective intelligence to design and launch stronger and more sustainable entrepreneurial initiatives. Research needs to be conducted to illustrate the influence of the use of technology, especially in payment activities, to be able to encourage the role of product quality and user experience on consumers' desire to return to enjoy existing culinary businesses. Based on the existing literature, this article describes the definition and characteristics of users of digital payment systems, namely quick response code Indonesian standard (QRIS). The related dimensions are the understanding of the use of QRIS as a payment method, frequency of use, number of transactions, number of culinary businesses of QRIS providers, transaction cost burden, transaction time, satisfaction, security, and public acceptance. The population and sample in this study are all QRIS users who visit culinary businesses in Pematangsiantar City during the months of March-April 2025. This research method uses quantitative analysis with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This article ends with a discussion of the results of the research, namely the use of QRIS is able to encourage quality and user experience in increasing consumer interest in repurchasing in culinary businesses in Pematangsiantar City as well as the research agenda for future studies.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of key factors in delivery services such as courier performance, delivery location, delivery time, and availability of complaint services on customer satisfaction in the context of online shopping applications. Using a quantitative approach and data collected from 300 valid responses in Medan were collected using purposive sampling, this study utilised PLS-SEM through SmartPLS to test the proposed model. The results show that all four factors have a significant and positive impact on customer satisfaction, with delivery time showing the strongest influence. On the other hand, the existence of an easily accessible and responsive complaint system strengthens consumers' trust in e-commerce platforms. Implications for e-commerce platforms and logistics providers are also discussed in this study, thus providing a clear understanding of the performance of e-commerce platforms in Indonesia. In addition, this study also makes a practical contribution by suggesting that e-commerce companies should focus more on improving delivery efficiency and post-purchase service, as well as building a proactive customer complaint system. Academically, the results of this study add to the literature in the field of logistics management and customer satisfaction in the digital era, and open up room for further research that can explore additional factors such as shipping costs, item security, and app user experience.
