Abstract

Abstract Housing is a primary need that every individual dreams of having. Individuals who cannot afford to buy a house in cash choose the mortgage route so they can occupy it and ultimately own it when the installments are finished. There are a number of factors that can influence consumers to decide on a mortgage, including individual income and home mortgage interest rates. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the influence of the Income and Interest Rate variables on the KPR Decision variable. Different from previous studies, this research adds the Financial Literacy variable which researchers believe can strengthen the influence of the Income and Interest Rate variables on the KPR Decision variable. This research is quantitative research with an explantory approach that develops research (Sukmawati, 2020). The data used in this research is primary data distributed to 250 BSI bank customers who have been offered KPR throughout Indonesia. The research results show that the Income and Interest Rate variables have a positive relationship and have a significant influence on KPR decisions. Apart from that, the Financial Literacy variable can moderate the influence of the Income and Interest Rate variables on the KPR Decision variable. Keywords: Income, Interest, Financial Literacy, KPR Decision

Abstract

Electoral oversight plays a crucial role in safeguarding electoral integrity and strengthening democratic legitimacy, particularly in emerging democracies where public trust in electoral institutions remains a central challenge. This study aims to examine how electoral oversight management influences public perception through the mediating role of public trust in the 2024 Simultaneous Elections in Ngawi Regency, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative explanatory research design, the study analyzed the effects of four dimensions of electoral oversight management—planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation—on public trust and public perception. Data were collected from 400 registered voters selected through proportional stratified random sampling and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings reveal that electoral oversight organizing has a direct and significant effect on public perception, while planning, implementation, and evaluation do not exert significant direct effects. However, organizing, implementation, and evaluation significantly influence public trust, whereas planning does not. Public trust is found to have a positive and significant effect on public perception and serves as a mediating variable in the relationships between organizing, implementation, and evaluation of oversight and public perception. Conversely, public trust does not mediate the relationship between oversight planning and public perception. These results indicate that public perception of electoral oversight is shaped primarily by oversight practices that are visible, organized, accountable, and directly experienced by the public, with public trust functioning as the key mechanism linking oversight performance to societal evaluations. The study contributes to the literature on electoral governance by highlighting the strategic role of public trust in translating managerial performance into positive public perception at the local level.

Abstract

Labor productivity is a key determinant of economic competitiveness and sustainable growth, yet Indonesia continues to face structural challenges in its formal labor market. Minimum wage policy is frequently used to improve worker welfare, but its impact on productivity remains debated, particularly in relation to job insecurity. This study aims to analyze the effects of minimum wage and job insecurity on labor productivity in Indonesia’s formal sector. Using a quantitative explanatory design, the research combines secondary provincial data on minimum wages and productivity indicators with primary survey data measuring perceived job insecurity among formal sector workers. Multiple linear regression analysis, including an interaction term, is employed to examine direct and moderating effects. The findings indicate that minimum wage has a positive and significant effect on labor productivity, while job insecurity negatively affects productivity. Moreover, job insecurity weakens the positive relationship between minimum wage and productivity. The study concludes that minimum wage can either promote or constrain productivity depending on employment stability and enforcement conditions. Effective wage policy must therefore be accompanied by strengthened job security and institutional support to ensure sustainable productivity growth

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed consumer behavior, particularly in how purchase decisions are influenced by social media interactions. This study investigates the effect of consumer reviews on social media platforms on the purchase intentions of household products, with a focus on vendors and consumers at Pasar Turi Baru in Surabaya, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative research design, data were collected from 50 respondents through a structured questionnaire distributed on-site. The study utilized a simple linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between social media reviews and consumer purchase intentions. The results indicate that consumer reviews have a statistically significant positive effect on purchase intentions. Visual content, trustworthiness of the source, and user-generated authenticity emerged as key drivers influencing consumer confidence. The coefficient of determination (R²) reached 0.527, meaning that 52.7% of the variation in purchase intention can be explained by exposure to consumer reviews. Findings also highlight that visual testimonials and narrative experiences shared on platforms like Instagram and TikTok are particularly persuasive. This research offers practical implications for traditional vendors transitioning to digital marketing. It emphasizes the importance of leveraging user reviews, creating trustworthy content, and engaging with consumers online to enhance their purchasing motivation. The novelty of the study lies in its context: a traditional wholesale market integrating modern digital strategies, offering insights rarely explored in previous literature.

Abstract

Research in the KPH Malang reforestation park contract area aims to determine the level of dependence of farmers on forest resources and the role of Perum Perhutani in increasing farmers' income with the Agroforestry Tumpangsari system forestry program. This research requires empirical data that explains the effect of implementing intensification on productivity, income levels and efficiency of farmers participating in social forestry programs. The research results show that the influencing variables are capital, production results, and the number of program participants. Apart from that, there is a difference between the income of program participant farmers and non-program participant farmers. The government's efforts to conserve forests and carry out reforestation can be carried out well with cooperation between Perhutani and program participant farmers.
