Abstract

PT XY is a company engaged in the production of compressors and automotive components that require precision in their manufacture. Noise in the work environment is a potential hazard for employee health. The purpose of this study was to analyze the noise level at PT XY using manual visualization mapping and noise distribution patterns with the 11 surfer program. This study used secondary data on noise level measurements in March and October 2018 and June and October 2019 from PT XY. with the SNI 7231-2009 method concerning the Noise Intensity Measurement Method in the Workplace which is taken for a moment for 1 hour with an interval of 6 minutes. The noise level measurement tool used is the SL-4011 Sound Level Meter. The data from the measurement of noise levels are compared with the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5 of 2018 concerning Occupational Safety and Health in the Work Environment. From the analysis results obtained are described in the mapping and distribution patterns. From the overall results of the measurement of the noise level of production activities at PT XY, only 3 points exceed the quality standard. The noise level at PT XY ranges from 74 dB (A) - 88 dB (A). Noise level mapping with a visual basic of all noise level measurements, noise sources that exceed the quality standard are in the gasket ring, horn press, and sp part machining work areas. The controls that have been done are limiting noise sources and workers, rotating working hours, and making rules for the use of ear plugs

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the potential activities that cause pollution in Situ Jatijajar and Situ Gadog, analyze the water quality and the status of water quality Situ Jatijajar and Situ Gadog. This study uses secondary data on water quality from Situ Jatijajar and Situ Gadog in Depok City, West Java year 2017-2019 from the Environment and Sanitation Office of Depok City. 10 parameters were analysis, pH, COD, BOD, DO, Phosphate, Nitrate, Fecal Coliform, Total Coliform, fatty oil, and detergent. Situ Jatijajar water quality in 2017-2019, pH ranges from 7.16, -7.33, BOD 7.33-9.43 mg/L, COD 15.4-21.1 mg/L, DO 2.44-5.25 mg/L, Phosphate 0.18-0.0043 mg/L, Nitrate 3.02-0.37 mg/L, Fecal Coliform 1600-9200 MPN/100 mL, Total Coliform 160.000-35.000 MPN/100 mL, Fatty Oil 200-300 mg/L and Detergent 45.4-20.7 mg/L. The results of measuring the quality of Situ Gadog water in 2017-2019 for pH parameters 9.55-7.24, BOD 4.29-5.36 mg/L, COD 10.3-12.41 mg/L, DO 3.50 -4.55 mg/L, Phosphate 0.064-0.0055 mg/L, Nitrate 2.76-0.37 mg/L, Fecal Coliform 2200-2400 MPN/100 mL, Total Coliform 2,080-5,400 MPN/100 mL, Fatty Oil 100-400 mg/L and Detergent 35.7-44 mg/L. The water quality status of Situ Jatijajar in 2017 was 6.197, in 2018 was 3.290 and 2019 was 4.312. The water quality status of Situ Gadog in 2017 was 2.618, in 2018 was 1.646 and 2019 was 2.161. The water quality status of Situ Jatijajar and Situ Gadof is classified as lightly polluted.

Abstract

Schools are educational facilities that must provide a sense of comfort and calm in learning activities. Noise can interfere with comfort and tranquility in learning activities. The source of school noise comes from traffic and other loud noises. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of traffic noise during the COVID-19 pandemic on the school environment of SMA Negeri 70 Jakarta and efforts to reduce noise levels in the school environment. Noise measurements were carried out for 14 days and carried out in the L1-L5 time segment which was carried out for 10 minutes with data reading every 5 seconds using a Sound Level Meter (SLM). The method used in determining the value of the traffic noise level is to measure the time and number of vehicles that pass through the measurement point along Jalan Raya Bulungan. From the results of the research at SMA Negeri 70 Jakarta, the noise level produced during the 14 days of the COVID-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 70 Jakarta at points 1,2,3,5,7,8,9, and A exceeded the noise level quality standard. KepMenLH No. 48 of 1996 each has a value of 58.12 dBA; 56.18 dBA; 56.77 dBA; 56.55 dBA; 56.17 dBA; 60.10 dBA; 61.23 dBA; and 67.75 dBA. The V/C ratio at SMA Negeri 70 Jakarta shows the highest level of road service is on the 1st Sunday on Saturday, while the level of road service enters the class A category. At point A has the highest noise value of 67.75 dBA because it is located close to with a noise source, namely Jalan Raya Bulungan, while point 7 which is located far from the noise source has a noise level of 56.17 dBA.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Jurusan Teknik Lingkungan Universitas Trisakti dengan penyuluhan atau sosialiasi bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai dampak dan pengendalian kebisingan lingkungan di pemukiman. Penyuluhan dengan metode ceramah, dilengkapi dengan diskusi yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan keterangan atau informasi, atau uraian tentang suatu pokok persoalan serta masalah secara lisan dan diskusi untuk tanya-jawab sehubungan dengan masalah-masalah yang harus dipecahkan, dilakukan untuk menggali ide atau pendapat masyarakat tentang suatu masalah secara individu dan membangun komitmen. Kegiatan dihadiri masyarakat Kelurahan Wijaya Kusuma yang terdiri dari ibu–ibu rumah tangga, Petugas Penanganan Prasarana dan Sarana Umum (PPSU), dan karang taruna sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini disampaikan bahwa faktor lama pajanan, intensitas kebisingan, umur serta faktor lain akan berpengaruh terhadap penurunan pendengaran. Pengendalian kebisingan dipermukiman dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan penghijauan di lingkungan sekitar. Selain itu hasil dari sosialisasi dampak dan pengendalian kebisingan adalah menambah wawasan tentang kebisingan, sumber kebisangan, dampak kebisingan bagi kesehatan dan kenyamanan dan masyarakat mengetahui bagaimana cara pengendalian kebisingan secara sederhana. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah diharapkan dapat mengubah perilaku masyarakat menjadi perilaku yang lebih berwawasan lingkungan dengan melaksanakan kegiatan penghijauan di setiap rumah sesuai dengan ketersediaan lahan dan karakteristik pemukiman yang tersedia.

Abstract

Damage to the ecosystem there will cause problems for the city. The factors causing the damage to the lake in Depok City are changes in land use in the catchment area, sedimentation, pollution and eutrophication resulting in reduced aesthetic value. Basically, this lake ecosystem can be turned into a tourist destination. Situ Pangarengan, which is located in Cisalak Village, Sukma Jaya District, Depok City, initially has an area of about 10.00 Ha, but now it is 8.00 Ha and shrinks in the dry season to 6.70 Ha. Therefore, saving this ecosystem needs to be done by conducting outreach to the people who live around it. The purpose of this activity is to provide counseling on management by implementing conservation and structuring the landscape along Situ Pangarengan. The activity was carried out on August 18, 2022, attended by 40 people. The PKM method is carried out with counseling in the form of lectures, discussions. The training atmosphere is designed to be interactive so that participants can more easily understand with case examples in the field. The results of this PkM activity participants gain knowledge about the benefits of managing and conserving the Situ Pangarengan ecosystem properly; participants get information about the landscape design for the lake bank; participants get a forum to exchange opinions and provide input regarding the management of the Situ Pangarengan ecosystem and the necessary communication occurs between extension workers and participants for the preparation of further action plans

Abstract

Situ Pangarengan is located in Cisalak Village, Sukmajaya District, Depok City, and function as a water catchment area. This study aims to identify activities that caouse pollution and damage, analyze the quality and water quality status, determine the pollutant load capacity and provide recommendations for pollution prevention and control. The main cause of pollution in Situ Pangarengan are from residential and other activities. Parameters BOD, COD and phosphate are exceeded the quality standard. The BOD quality standard is 3 mg/L while the BOD content is 2.33 mg/L-11.83 mg/L. The COD quaiity standard is 25 mg/L, the COD content in water ranges from 9.6 mg/L-48 mg/L. The quality standard for phosphate is 0.03 mg/L while the phosphate content in waters ranges from 1.36 mg/L-2.68 mg/L. The water quality status of Situ Pangarengan is 7.53 (moderately polluted). Pollutant load capacity of BOD is 26,787 kg/year, the existing BOD load is 57,770 kg/year. Integrated effort to prevent and pollution control are developing the potential of Situ Pangarengan as a water conservation and tourism area, structuring the lake landscape, providing understanding to the public about the potential of Situ Pangarengan as a supporting ecosystem for urban sustainability, regular dredging, implementing communal WWTPs and eliminating the entry of garbage into the lake, and maintaining the health of the lake.

Abstract

Kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat mengenai manfaat dari teknologi rainwater harvesting ini menimbulkan berbagai macam permasalahan diantaranya yaitu belum memahami konsep Eko-Masjid dalam upaya menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu; melakukan penyuluhan tentang konsep eco-masjid, melakukan pelatihan pemanfaatan air hujan dengan teknik rain harvesting, melakukan pelatihan pengurangan debit air untuk wudhu dan pengelolaan air bekas wudhu, membangun sumur resapan, membangun kolam penampung air bekas wudhu, dan menata lanskap disekitar masjid. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pembuatan saran contoh di Masjid Hidayaturrahman. Hasil yang didapat dalam PKM ini yaitu masyarakat menjadi lebih mengetahui dan memahami mengenai rainwater harvesting, sumur resapan, pengelolaan air wudhu dan konsep eco-masjid yang sudah diterapkan. Kesimpulan yang didapat yaitu kegiatan KKM dengan waktu yang singkat ini telah terlaksana dengan hasil memuaskan dan sangat bermanfaat dalam konservasi air.

Abstract

Permasalahan akibat akumulasi mikroplastik di lingkungan terjadi karena plastik merupakan polimer sintetis yang sulit untuk terdegradasi, salah satunya disebabkan karena plastik mempunyai kerapatan massa molekul yang tinggi. mikroplastik tersebar di lingkungan dan menimbulkan masalah bagi lingkungan dan biota air dan tanah seperti laut, muara, sungai, danau, tanah. Biodegradasi plastik berbahan dasar minyak bumi konvensional dipengaruhi oleh faktor abiotik terjadi dalam waktu lama, dan tidak dapat sepenuhnya terurai dan faktor biotik dipengaruhi oleh mikroorganisme pengurai yang ada di lingkungan yang dapat mempercepat penguraian. Pendekatan untuk mengendalikan pencemaran mikroplastik dapat dilakukan dengan pendekatan teknologi bioremediasi, dengan memanfaatkan potensi mikroba atau bakteri indigenous yang ditumbuhkan dalam lingkungan media yang terpapar mikroplastik. Faktor abiotik (radiasi UV, suhu, tekanan atmosfer) terjadi dalam waktu lama, dan tidak dapat sepenuhnya terurai. Faktor biotik dipengaruhi oleh mikroorganisme pengurai yang ada di lingkungan yang dapat mempercepat penguraian.

Abstract

Air limbah rumah tangga sering kali menimbulkan permasalahan ketidakseimbangan ekosistem apabila tidak dikelola dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efisiensi penyisihan konsentrasi air limbah domestik grey water terhadap parameter BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand), COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), dan Amoniak. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan 1 Juni – 13 Agustus 2021 di Laboratorium Lingkungan Universitas Trisakti, dengan menggunakan 1 (satu) unit reaktor Lahan Basah Buatan terbuat dari kaca berukuran ukuran: panjang x lebar x tinggi = 90 cm x 30 cm x 50 cm menggunakan tanaman Pakis Air (Azolla pinnata) sebagai fitoremedian dengan waktu tinggal 2, 4, 6, 8 dan 10 hari. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh diketahui efisiensi penyisihan setiap parameter (BOD, COD, dan Amoniak) menggunakan lahan basah buatan dengan tanaman Pakis Air (Azolla pinnata) adalah 32,83% untuk BOD, 29,72% untuk COD, dan 18,01% untuk Amoniak. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa tanaman Pakis Air mampu mereduksi pencemar pada air limbah domestic khususnya terhadap jenis grey water. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teknologi tepat guna dalam bidang bioteknologi lingkungan yaitu pengolahan air limbah dengan sistem yang mempunyai teknologi sederhana, biaya murah, hemat energi dan ramah lingkungan yang mampu menciptakan tingkat higienis dan kenyaman masyarakat serta menjaga keberlangsungan lingkungan dimasa depan

Abstract

This Final research was conducted in Ciujung River where this research was conducted in Serang Regency with its head in Nagara Village, Serang Regency, and downstream in Tirtayasa Village, Serang Regency. The research was conducted for 3 months from October – December 2022 starting from 09.00 – 12.00 and continuing from 12.00 – 13.45. The purpose of the study is to identify and determine the sources of pollution that have the potential to pollute the Ciujung River, analyze water quality, water quality status, and pollutant levels in the Ciujung River, and analyze the carrying capacity of polluter loads in the Ciujung River. And analyze the burden of pollutants in the Ciujung River. The length of the Ciujung River studied is 31.3 km. The parameters used for this study are pH, Temperature, DO, BOD, COD, Nitrate, Phosphate, and Total Coliform. The method used in identifying the source of pollution contained in the Ciujung River is carried out by conducting field observations and taking samples of Ciujung River water. Sampling in the Ciujung River was carried out by the grab sampling method. which is done at 6 sampling points. Analysis of river water quality was carried out at the Trisakti University Laboratory. The results of the analysis are then compared with the quality standards of PP No. 22 of 2021 in Attachment VI. Water Quality Status is calculated by the Polluter Index method. Nonpoint sources of pollution are dominated by residential areas, stalls, garbage, shops, mosques/prayer rooms, schools, and markets. Point sources of pollution are obtained from industrial areas. Measurement of river characteristics is carried out in October, November, and December by measuring distance, width, depth, cross-sectional area of the river, river speed, and river discharge. The results of the analysis of water quality in the river stated that for phosphate parameters almost all exceeded quality standards due to domestic waste from the environment, the runoff of agricultural fertilizers, livestock waste, and very high industrial activities. The BOD parameters at point 2 and point 5 exceed the quality standards due to the content of organic waste. The load capacity of BOD pollutants is 3.64 kg/day – 20.20 kg/day, COD is 42.63 kg/day – 144.22 kg/day, Nitrate is 1.67 kg/day – 3.47 kg/day, Phosphate 0.79 kg/day – 3.11 kg/day, Total Coliform is 8694.19 kg/day – 33042.56 kg/day. BOD Pollution Load of 314.26 kg/day- 1744.99 kg/day COD of 2365.46 kg/day - 12460.37 kg/day Nitrate of 144.55 kg/day- 423.16 kg/day Phosphate of Total Coliform of 454133.37 kg/day – 2854876.86 kg/day.
