Abstract

The main problem in this literature review is how is the role of lecturers in developing competency-based students is translated into two sub-problems, namely what is the professional attitude needed by a lecturer in student development? and how do lecturers respond to the professional demands of competency-based student development? The results of the analysis show that the professional attitude of the lecturers is a necessity in the context of efficiency and effectiveness in serving so that the potential of students develops according to their talents and abilities. This attitude of professionalism requires academic skills, mental, social, and spiritual skills. Meanwhile, the way lecturers respond to the demands of professionalism is by doing careful preparation and planning as well as directed work, so that evaluations can be carried out both at the class level and at the institutional level. The implication is that the synergy of all stakeholders is needed to support competency-based student development.

Abstract

Pokok bahasan dalan tulisan ini adalah bagaimana amal shaleh menurut konsep al-Qur’an. Jenis kajiannya adalah library researct (kajian pustaka) dengan pendekatan maudhu’i. Fungsi Al-Quran adalah hudan li al-nas, yaitu menjadi petunjuk bagi manusia. Dengan fungsi itu, al-Quran berisi tuntunan menuju jalan yang lurus. Petunjuk ke jalan yang lurus tersebut dimaksudkan agar hidup manusia bahagia dunia dan akhirat. Jalan menuju kebahagian hanya dapat dicapai dengan prestasi kebaikan. Prestasi kebaikan itu dalam terminologi moral Islam (akhlaq) disebut dengan al-'amal al-shalihat.namun kategori amal shaleh dalam al-Qur’an adalah semua perbuatan baik yang dilakukan dengan landasan iman. Apa yang dituangkan dalam  tulisan ini hanya sebatas ijtihad untuk mendekatkan pemahaman terhadap salah satu tema yang diungkap al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran guru agama Islam terhadap penanaman akhlak peserta didik SD Negeri 97 Arango Kecamatan Sinjai Barat Kabupaten Sinjai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan religius, pendekatan psikologis dan pendekatan manajerial. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah guru agama Islam SD Negeri 97 Arango, Kepala Sekolah, Pegawai Administrasi, dan peserta didik. Sedangkan sumber data sekunder diperoleh dari beberpa data kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakuakan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri ditambah beberapa alat pendukung seperti alat perekam, alat tulis dan kamera, pedoman observasi, format dokumentasi, pedoman wawancara dan hal yang relevan yang dapat mendukung kegiatan penelitian. Pengolahan data dengan teknik trianggulasi. Analisis dilakukan dengan mereduksi data, penyajian dalam bentuk narasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru agama Islam telah berperan dalam menanamkan akhlak pada peserta didik di SD Negeri 97 Arango yang bertindak sebagai fasilitator, pembimbing, komunikator, model, evaluator, inovator, dan sebagai motivator. Kontribusi utama penelitian ini terletak pada metode yang diperankan oleh guru agama Islam yang melahirkan interaksi guru dan peserta didik secara baik sehingga dapat dijadikan model penanaman akhlak di tempat yang berbeda. Kekurangan penelitian ini antara ialah belum mengungkap secara keseluruhan faktorfaktor yang melatar belakangi banyaknya peserta didik yang melakukan pelanggaran. Juga belum mengungkap apa yang menjadi hambatan guru agama Islam dalam menanamkan akhlak pada peserta didik.

Abstract

This research discusses the study of hadith at state Islamic religious universities (a study of the trend of hadith studies at UIN Alauddin Makassar). The research method applied is qualitative, studying a social unit, including individuals, groups, institutions and communities. The results and discussion of this study indicate that thesis research model from 2014 to 2019 still dominates field studies. In addition, the most widely used model of hadith research is naqd al-hadith, followed by fiqh al-hadith, then living hadith, book study, and finally character/thought study. This research is expected to be one of the contributions to the study of hadith in Indonesia, especially to the study of hadith at the State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN). It can also be used as material for reflection on further studies. This research is a general study of hadith study models at UIN Alauddin Makassar so that in-depth and critical analysis has not been optimally found so this necessitates more comprehensive studies of hadith study models.

Abstract

This study aims to explore coaching strategies to improve religious understanding for muallaf. The research uses qualitative techniques with main data collection techniques through FGDs, observations, interviews, and documentation. The research was conducted in Kampung Muallaf, Betteng Village, Lembang District, Pinrang Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The data are analyzed qualitatively using classification based on emerging problems. The results showed that the muallaf coaching strategy in Betteng Village was appropriate. Some of the steps taken are in physical form, and some are in non-physical form. The physical form is the manufacture of several facilities and infrastructure, while the nonphysical form is the form of deepening the pillars of faith and the pillars of Islam. The inhibiting factors for Kampung Muallaf in Betteng Village are the lack of Islamic extension personnel and extreme road access resulting in a lack of frequent meetings. Therefore,it is recommended that the government increase the energy of Islamic Extension workers and improve the means of transportation to make it easier to carry out guidance. The main contribution of this research is to be a piece of information about the concrete steps of religious formation. These measures can be used as a pilot in fostering muallaf elsewhere.

Abstract

nitially, Orientalism was the way Western scholars interpreted the development and progress of Eastern countries, encompassing aspects such as religion, language, culture, history, and others. However, over time, the focus of Orientalists increasingly turned towards the Arab and Islamic world. One area of particular interest in Islamic studies has been the field of Hadith. Many Orientalists, such as Ignaz Goldziher and Joseph Schacht, have been involved in researching Hadith. Goldziher argued that the majority of Hadith cannot be considered entirely as teachings originating directly from the Prophet.

Abstract

This research attempts to identify and describe the concept of leadership from the perspective of Hadith in general and the concept of leadership from the perspective of Pasang ri Kajang. The reference of this research problem leads to how the concept of leadership according to the Prophet's Hadith, how the concept of leadership in Pasang ri Kajang, and how the encounter of leadership values between the two as a manifestation that the Kajang indigenous community is very intimate with Islamic cultural values. This research uses a mixed method that is library and field by using the concept of Edmund Husserl's phenomenology in looking at the social situation in the Kajang indigenous community. The results of this study found that Leadership in the perspective of the Prophet's hadith and Pasang ri Kajang Perspective has differences and similarities in value, ideal leadership criteria based on the Prophet's hadith. at least fulfills 5 elements, namely a leader has a leadership spirit such as the soul of the Quraysh tribe, intellectual and professional, and able to carry out the task. While leadership criteria according to Pasang ri Kajang Leadership perspective of Pasang ri kajang refers to three main aspects, namely, Macca na Lambusu (intellectual and trustworthy), Barani na gattang (brave and firm), and Sabbara na pesona (patient and trustworthy). The encounter between the two values can be seen from the aspect of intellectual and trustworthy leader criteria, besides that on the other hand the leader must also be honest, have faith in Allah Swt and be responsible. Keywords: Leadership, Hadis, Pasang ri Kajang   Penelitian ini berikhtiar mengidentifikasi dan menguraikan konsep kepemimpinan perspektif Hadis secara umum dan konsep kepemimpinan perspektif Pasang ri Kajang. Adapun rujukan permasalah penelitian ini mengarah kepada bagaimana konsep kepemimpinan menurut hadis Nabi, bagaimana konsep kepemimpinan dalam Pasang ri Kajang, dan bagaiman perjumpaan nilai-nilai kepemimpinan diantara keduanya sebagai wujud bahwa komunitas adat Kajang sangat intim dengan nilai-nilai kebudayaan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode mix method yaitu pustaka dan lapangan dengan memanfaatkan konsep fenomenologi Edmund Husserl dalam meliht situasi social pada masyrakat adat Kajang.  Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Kepemimpinan dalam perspektif hadis Nabi dan Perspektif Pasang ri Kajang memiliki perbedaan dan kesamaan nilai, kriteria kepemimpinan yang ideal berdasarkan hadis-hadis Nabi saw. paling tidak memenuhi 5 unsur, yaitu seorang pemimpin memiliki jiwa kepemimpinan seperti jiwa suku Quraisy, intelektual dan professional, serta mampu melaksanakan tugas. Sedangkan kriteria kepemimpinan menurut Pasang ri Kajang Kepemimpinan perspektif Pasang ri kajang mengacu pada tiga aspek pokok yaitu, Macca na Lambusu (intelektual dan Amanah), Barani na gattang (berani dan tegas), dan Sabbara na pesona (sabar dan tawakal). Perjumpaan nilai keduanya dapat ditinjau dari aspek kriteria pemimpin yang intelektual dan amanah, selain itu disisi lain pemimpin juga harus jujur, bertakawwal kepada Allah Swt serta bertanggungjawab. Abstract

Islam is a religion that upholds the values of justice and equal rights between men and women, but the understanding of the Indonesian Muslim community is still wrong with the teachings of Islam. One of the reasons includes misunderstanding of misogynistic hadiths, namely hadiths that editorially seem to demean women. This study aims to explore Islamic feminists’ rejection of the textual understanding of misogynistic hadiths to uphold gender justice. This Islamic feminist stance needs to receive support so that gender justice is in line with Islamic law. This research uses empirical qualitative methods by analyzing the theory of understanding hadith and gender theory. The study obtained data from interviews and a literature review. The respondents interviewed were academics, NGO activists, and community leaders, while the literature included journal articles, books, and Islamic textbooks on Islamic law. The study took place in Makassar City, Indonesia from September 2022 to March 2023. Findings reveal that Islamic feminists in Makassar City criticize the textual interpretations of misogynistic hadiths as they demean women’s dignity and are not in accordance with the values of Islamic teachings. If analyzed from a gender perspective, Islamic feminists have played an important role in fighting for gender equality in a religious context. Meanwhile, in the context of hadith understanding theory, a contextual approach is needed to provide a comprehensive understanding of society so that gender justice is realized. The contribution of this study is that the Islamic feminist perspective that reviews misogynistic hadith through a contextual approach helps provide inspiration and direction for other efforts to encourage social change and gender justice.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyse relevant hadiths in the context of education in Islam. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, focusing on literature review and textual analysis of selected hadiths. The analysis reveals that the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) hold a significant position in shaping the concepts and practices of education in Islam. Key findings include the importance of etiquette in eating and drinking as part of character education, the obligation of seeking knowledge as a religious foundation for every Muslim, and the significance of knowledge as an invaluable legacy from the Prophets. Additionally, the research highlights the importance of knowledge for both worldly success and the Hereafter, along with Allah's promise to facilitate the path to Paradise for seekers of knowledge. The implications of this research contribute to deepening the understanding of educational values in Islam and provide practical recommendations for education practitioners and parents in guiding the younger generation. It is hoped that the findings of this research will serve as a basis for developing educational curricula grounded in Islamic values and enhancing the understanding and implementation of Islamic teachings in modern educational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimization of OPAC, the factors that influence users to use OPAC, and the obstacles faced by users in utilizing OPAC as a medium for retrieving information at the Muhammadiyah University Library Makassar. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Data were collected through direct observation and in-depth interviews with librarians and users. Data analysis involves collecting, reducing, assessing, and interpreting data critically to reach conclusions. The results showed that: First, the factors that influence library users in utilizing OPAC, namely increasing the productivity and effectiveness of collection searches, as well as facilitating the activity of retrieving library materials needed by users without the need to search one by one on the collection shelves. Second, the obstacles faced in utilizing OPAC, namely frequent network disruptions when users use OPAC, the lack of ability of users to search through OPAC, and the mismatch of information between the display in OPAC and the existence on the collection shelves
