Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi Pendidikan mendorong penggunaan metode inovatif dalam pembelajaran, sehingga penelitian ini berfokus dalam mengukur model Problem Based Learning berbantuan PhET Simulations. Penggunaan PhET Simulations dalam model Problem Based Learning memungkinkan peserta didik untuk mendalami konsep secara langsung melalui percobaan virtual sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning berbantuan PhET simulations terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi fluida dinamis di SMAN 10 Mataram. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen, desain penelitian ini adalah pretest posttest. control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA yang berjumlah 56 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh sehingga didapatkan kelas XI MIPA 1 yang berjumlah 31 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media PhET Simulations dan kelas XI MIPA 2 yang berjumlah 25 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model konvensional. Instrumen tes yang telah digunakan yaitu soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 16 soal yang telah diuji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji taraf kesukaran, uji daya pembeda, dan uji fungsi pengecoh. Data pretest-posttest telah diuji prasyarat hipotesis yaitu uji normalitas menggunakan uji Chi kuadrat, uji homogenitas menggunakan uji-F, kemudian untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t polled variance dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hasil akhir belajar peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen meningkat secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol, dengan nilai rata-rata posttest 81,48 dengan kriteria baik pada kelas eksperimen dan 77,60 dengan kriteria baik pada kelas kontrol. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai   thitung > ttabel  yaitu 4,91 > 2,67, yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Lerning berbantuan PhET simulations berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi fluida dinamis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning berbantuan media PhET terhadap hasil belajar fisika peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experimental. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada SMAN 1 Kuripan kelas X semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2025/2026, pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai pada tanggal 16 September sampai dengan 1 Oktober. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Kuripan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2025/2026 yakni sebanyak 196 siswa yang terbagi dalam 7 kelas. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh kelas X-2 sebanyak 25 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-1 sebanyak 25 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes hasil belalajar ranah kognitif yang di uji menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil data tes akhir pada hasil belajar ranah kognitif peserta didik, diperoleh nilai rata-rata 88,15 untuk kelas eksperimen dan rata-rata 71,85 untuk kelas kontrol. Hasil data akhir hasil belajar ranah afektif kelas eksperimen mendapatakan rata-rata 95,08, sedangkan rata-rata yang diperoleh kelas kontrol yaitu sebesar 71,87 untuk ranah afektif. Didapatkan hasil uji normalitas pada tes awal sebesar 9 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 10 pada kelas kontrol dan pada tes akhir di peroleh nilai kelas eksperimen sebesar 9 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 3 dengan X2tabel 11,070 maka data terdistribusi normal dan hasil uji homogenitas diperoleh Fhitung sebesar 1,04 pada tes awal dan 1,15 pada tes akhir dengan Ftabel 1,98 maka data dikategorikan homogen. Pada uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung sebesar 4,55 dan ttabel 2,02 pada taraf signifikan 5%, maka dinyatakan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh discovery learning berbantuan media simulasi PhET terhadap hasil belajar fisika peserta didik.

Abstract

Research and Development (R&D) research is included in this study using the 4D model developed by Thiagarajan. The product developed student worksheetound waves. Data collection techniques used validation sheets, teacher learning implementation observation sheets, student response questionnaires and test instruments. This product was assessed for validity by three expert validators who are physics lecturers and three practitioner validators who are physics subject teachers. Its validity was obtained from the assessment results of expert and practitioner validators, which reached 91.67% and 94.70% respectively, indicating that the product was very valid. In addition, the reliability value also met the standard with an average of above 75%. Therefore, it can be said that this product is feasible to use. The practicality of this product was evaluated through observation sheets by teachers and questionnaires filled out by students related to the learning carried out. The assessment results show that this product is very practical, with the implementation sheet by the teacher reaching 94.56% and the response of students reaching 89.54%. In addition to validity and practicality, the effectiveness of this product was also assessed. The limited trial was conducted by measuring the increase in pretest and posttest scores using the N-Gain test. The analysis results show that this product is quite effective, with the acquisition of the N-Gain test for students' science literacy of 0.69, which is in the medium category. Based on the evaluation results, it can be concluded that the sound waves student worksheetroduced is a feasible product, very practical, and quite effective in improving students' science literacy.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of the Discovery Learning model assisted by PhET Interactive Simulations on the topic of dynamics of motion in the School Field Introduction Program as part of the Campus Impact Program. This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach conducted at SMA Negeri 7 Mataram during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. The research subjects consisted of 36 eleventh-grade students in Phase F. Data were collected through tests and observations. The research instruments included multiple-choice test sheets and observation sheets for students’ attitudes and skills. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics through mean scores, percentages, and interpretation of learning outcome categories. The results showed that the implementation of the discovery learning model assisted by PhET Interactive Simulations had a positive impact on students’ learning outcomes. In the cognitive aspect, students achieved an average score of 85.38, categorized as very good. In the affective aspect, the average score reached 76.39, categorized as good, as reflected in the development of critical thinking, independence, collaboration, creativity, and noble character. In the psychomotor aspect, students obtained an average score of 80.92, categorized as good, particularly in observing, questioning, predicting, conducting investigations, and communicating results. The findings indicate that the implementation of discovery learning supported by digital simulation media was able to create an active, interactive, and meaningful physics learning environment while representing the practical implementation of the Campus Impact Program in schools.

Abstract

Strengthening students’ competencies, including critical thinking and creativity, is an essential part of implementing the Pancasila Student Profile within the Merdeka Curriculum. One instructional approach that can support the development of these competencies is Project-Based Learning (PjBL). This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing Project-Based Learning through a mini hydropower model project on students’ critical thinking and creativity in science learning on renewable energy topics. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the non-equivalent control group type. The research was conducted in the odd semester of 2025 with ninth-grade students at a junior high school in Mataram City. The sample consisted of two classes, namely an experimental class of 31 students and a control class of 29 students. The research instrument was an essay test consisting of 10 items, including 5 items to measure critical thinking and 5 items to measure creativity. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and one-way MANOVA. The results showed that the mean scores of students’ critical thinking and creativity in the experimental class were higher than those in the control class. The MANOVA results indicated a significance value of less than 0.05, demonstrating that the implementation of Project-Based Learning through the mini hydropower project had a significant effect on students’ critical thinking and creativity. Project-based learning in renewable energy topics not only enhances higher-order thinking skills but also supports the strengthening of Pancasila Student competencies and is relevant to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in quality education and clean, sustainable energy.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan dosen, guru fisika, serta mahasiswa calon guru mengenai inovasi pembelajaran fisika yang relevan dengan tantangan Abad 21, khususnya melalui sinergi antara peran guru dan pemanfaatan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI). Kegiatan kolaboratif ini diselenggarakan secara daring pada Senin, 11 Mei 2026, melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari 100 peserta yang terdiri dari perwakilan Universitas Mataram (Lombok) dan Universitas Pattimura (Ambon). Sesi kuliah umum ini mencakup pembukaan, penyajian materi "Inovasi Pembelajaran Fisika: Sinergi Guru Abad 21 dan Teknologi AI", sesi tanya jawab interaktif, dan evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi kuantitatif menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan dan penerimaan yang sangat tinggi dari peserta terhadap relevansi materi, kualitas penyampaian, dan kelancaran penyelenggaraan, dengan rata-rata skor pada kategori "Sangat Setuju". Secara kualitatif, antusiasme peserta tercermin dari diskusi yang hangat dan banyaknya pertanyaan, serta harapan kuat untuk tindak lanjut kegiatan yang lebih teknis dan praktis. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan wawasan peserta tentang potensi AI dalam pembelajaran fisika dan memotivasi mereka untuk mengaplikasikannya, sambil tetap menekankan peran AI sebagai alat bantu untuk memperkuat kualitas instruksional.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze trends in Augmented Reality (AR) based learning research using bibliometric analysis through Dimensions AI for the period 2016–2025. The method used is descriptive quantitative, analyzing the number of publications, research fields, authors, and publication types. The results show a significant increase in AR publications since 2016, peaking in 2023. The most dominant publication type is scientific articles (43,446 publications), with Education and Curriculum and Pedagogy as the main categories. Several Indonesian researchers are also actively contributing to AR research at the global level. In conclusion, AR research in education is growing rapidly and is interdisciplinary, with development trending toward integrating AR with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) to create more immersive and adaptive learning.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the results of expert validation of ethnoscience-based teaching materials to develop student competence in critical thinking and caring attitudes. Expert validation in this research is part of the development of ethnoscience-based teaching materials to develop student competence in critical thinking and caring attitudes using the 4D model. This model includes stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate so that it will produce ethnoscience-based teaching materials that are valid, practical and effective in developing students' competence in critical thinking and caring attitudes. Expert validation is included in the Develop stage. Validation of ethnoscience-based teaching materials to develop students' competence in critical thinking and caring attitudes was carried out by 3 experts, namely material experts, media experts and language experts. The research results show that the assessment from material experts is 96.7, media experts are 90.5, and language experts are 100. Thus, the average value of expert validation assessments is 95.7, including the Very Valid criteria. The product, in the form of ethnoscience-based teaching materials to develop students' competence in critical thinking and caring attitudes, was revised based on input from validators. The results of product revisions before and after validation are divided into 5 things, namely: 1) Adding indicators and numbering to Basic Competencies; 2) Improvements to tables that were previously scanned from source or reference books were revised by creating tables manually. The table has also been assigned a sequential number; 3) Addition of photos and videos related to ethnoscience; 4) Ethnoscience-based investigative activities; 5) Changes in the appearance and form of the formative tests available at the end of each chapter.

Abstract

The type of multiple intelligence possessed by students can be a consideration for lecturers in determining the right lecture method so that it can create effective learning. The effectiveness of learning has an impact on the quality of superior and competitive student competencies. This study aims to analyze the distribution of multiple intelligences of students and relate them to relevant learning methods in the Physics Curriculum Review course in the Physics Education Study Program, University of Mataram. The subjects of the study were 22 class 5C students who took the multiple intelligence test. This study uses a descriptive approach with quantitative data analysis. The study was conducted in August 2024. The instrument used to view the profile of students' multiple intelligence types can be accessed through the online platform "Aku Pintar". The results showed that intrapersonal intelligence had the highest average of 83%, followed by logical-mathematical intelligence (78%), visual-spatial (75%), and verbal-linguistic (73%). Naturalistic and Interpersonal intelligence were 71%, while Kinesthetic intelligence was 70%. Musical intelligence had the lowest average, which was 63%. Based on these findings, the recommended learning methods include Project-Based Learning, Small Group Discussion, Contextual Instruction, and Role-Play to accommodate various types of student intelligence. These methods are integrated with topics such as the history of curriculum development, review of learning models, review of the Independent Curriculum teaching module, and the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project. The conclusion of the study emphasizes the importance of implementing adaptive and varied learning methods in supporting the potential of students' multiple intelligences, in order to prepare them as competent, creative, and innovative prospective teachers. In other words, the application of lecture methods used by lecturers according to the type of multiple intelligences of students will support the formation of a superior and globally competitive generation. It is recommended for lecturers to optimize project-based and collaborative approaches, and for students to actively explore their intelligence potential. This study also provides recommendations to study programs to align the curriculum with student needs and educational developments.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore students' competency profiles in the Introduction to Education course through hybrid learning based on the utilization of scientific articles. The study employed a quantitative descriptive approach and was conducted during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year in the Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram. The research subjects consisted of 26 students enrolled in the Introduction to Education course taught by the researcher. The data were collected from the assessment of classroom discussion activities and individual assignments conducted through the SPADA UNRAM learning platform. Competency assessment covered nine indicators, namely content understanding, academic argumentation, utilization of scientific references in discussions, participation in discussions, accuracy of assignment content, depth of analysis, utilization of scientific references in assignments, critical thinking skills, and academic writing organization and language use. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean, median, mode, standard deviation, frequency, and percentage. The results showed that students' competencies were categorized as high, with an average score of 86.73. All competency indicators were also categorized as high, with mean scores ranging from 85.9 to 87.4. A total of 50.00% of students were categorized as having high competency, 46.15% as very high, and 3.85% as moderate. These findings indicate that hybrid learning based on the utilization of scientific articles can effectively support the development of students' academic competencies, particularly in terms of conceptual understanding, academic argumentation, scientific literacy, and critical thinking skills.
