Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to obtain data on the level of vocabulary mastery of Mnadarin 7th grade students of SMP Islam Athirah 2 Makassar. The variables in this research are the level of vocabulary mastery in Mandarin and the factors that influence the vocabulary mastery of Mandarin. The population in this research were all 7th grade students of SMP Islam Athirah 2 Makassar who took specialization subjects in Mandarin with the total of 10 students. The research data were obtained by giving tests of Mandarin vocabulary mastery test and Likert scale to determine the factors that influence Mandarin vocabulary mastery. The data analysis technique is using the percentage technique. The results showed that the level of vocabulary mastery of 7th grade of SMP Islam Athirah 2 Makassar was in the good category (84.3%) with the factors that most influenced students mastery of Mandarin vocabulary were external factors in the aspect of teacher quality with a percentage of 93% and factors that were less influential were internal factors in the intelligence aspect with a percentage of 60%.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is to know about the increase in reading comprehension through PAIKEM of the students of class XI IPA at the SMA PGRI Ge’tengan Tana Toraja. This research is a class action research that consists of two cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. The subject in this research is the class XI IPA SMA PGRI Ge’tengan student. The data analysis techniques in this research are qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative data were obtained from observations and quantitative data from the results of student evaluations. The results of the student evaluation showed that reading comprehension of German text had increased with an average of 77 points in cycle I and 91 in cycle 2. From this it can be concluded that the use of the PAIKEM of reading comprehension German text by PAIKEM of the students of class XI IPA can increase.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to obtain data about the effectiveness of online Kumon learning model in reading skill in German in class XI SMA Negeri 8 Makassar. This research was a ‘true experiment’ research. The population of this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 8 Makassar which consisted of 9 classes of 297 students. The sample technique that used was random sampling. The subject of this research was students of class XI SMA MIPA 6 which consisted by 33 students as the experimental class and students of class XI IPS 1 which consisted by 33 students as the control class. The results of data analysis using t-test was tcount 6.49> ttable 1.999 at α 0.05 level. The results showed that the online Kumon learning model was effective in the reading ability of German students of class XI SMA Negeri 8 Makassar.

Abstract

This study was conducted to describe the phenomenon of marriage annulment due to high panai money in the Bugis Makassar marriage tradition, the factors that lead to high panai money, and its potential for suicidal behavior. The type of research used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The data in this study are primary data covering people who have experienced marriage annulment due to the high amount of panai money. The source of the data for this research is interview with the interviewees. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviewing sources. The research instrument is the researcher himself. Data analysis techniques in this study are verbatim, coding, data presentation, and inference. The results of the research obtained are a description of the phenomenon of marriage annulment due to high pennies, marriage cancellations can occur if the nominal panai set by the woman is too high so that it cannot be fulfilled by the men. The man's family will ultimately choose to cancel the wedding plan rather than force the woman's will. The factors that lead to high paychecks are the social strata of the family, education and work, as well as the physical condition of the women. The potential for suicidal behavior by people who have annulled marriages, while the results found indicate that the phenomenon of marriage annulment due to high wages has the potential to occur suicidal behavior in couples who experience annulment of marriageKeywords: Marriage Tradition, Panai Money, Marriage Annulment, Suicidal Behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar, prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran bahasa Arab, serta hubungan motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar bahasa Arab siswa kelas XI SMA IT Al Fatih Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA IT Al Fatih Makassar dengan jumlah siswa 15 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala Likert dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis korelasi Spearman Rank dengan hasil koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.22 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.939. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel motivasi belajar dengan variabel prestasi belajar bahasa Arab siswa kelas XI SMA IT Al Fatih Makassar. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yang tidak menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa dapat dikembangkan dengan  berbagai teknik.  Salah satu teknik di antaranya adalah teknik pembelajaran berkelompok. Fungsi pembelajaran kelompok dapat  dipandang dari dua paradigma yaitu paradigma psikologi dan paradigma sosial. Dari segi paradigma psikologi, pembelajar dapat merasa diakui, diterima dan dihargai dalam bekerja dengan orang lain lain dalam kelompoknya.  Sedangkan  aspek  paradigma sosial dapat menyebabkan terciptanya aktifitas yang produktif karena terpeliharanya hubungan sosial yang dapat mempengaruhi sikap anggota kelompok. Pengajar berperan dalam pembelajaran tersebut sebagai pengamat,  motivator,  dan fasilitator. Langkah – langkah dalam pembelajaran tersebut adalah tahap pembentukan kelompok dan tahap penyajian. Tahap penyajian ini meliputi persiapan dan penyusunan unit-unit pembelajaran (planungsphase), pelaksanaan (Durchfuhrungsphase), penyajian pelajaran yang telah disusun dalam unit-unit pelajaran, dan perangkuman atau umpan balik. Kata kunci : kemampuan berbahasa, pembelajaran berkelompok

Abstract

This study aims to examine the function and meaning of feng shui for the Chinese community in Makassar City. This research is an ethnographic study. Research data were obtained through interviews. The informants of this study were selected from Chinese residents in Makassar City. The results showed that feng shui means to harmonize, balance, and harmonize between humans and the universe. Meanwhile, the function of feng shui is as a benchmark to organize and arrange buildings to create good and balanced energy to bring good luck. The learning of knowledge across feng shui cultures is a stage so that the Chinese community is aware of their own culture and the local community respects the existence of cultural diversity.Keywords: Fengshui, Chinese Society, Makassar City, Cross-Cultural Knowledge

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study aimed at obtaining data about the error rate and forms of errors in writing Chinese interrogative sentences for the sixth-grade students of SD Frater Thamrin Makassar. The population in this study were all students of class VI SD Frater Thamrin Makassar with a total of 28 students. The sampling technique was carried out using total sampling, so that the entire population was used as the research sample, namely 28 people. The research data was obtained by giving a sentence writing test and a sentence composing test. Data analysis techniques using percentages. The results showed that there were 33 errors in preparing interrogative sentences with a percentage of 14.3% and errors in writing interrogative sentences as many as 39 errors with a percentage of 16.9%. The total errors in writing interrogative sentences are 72 items, including in the category of Fairly High with a percentage of 31.3%. There are three forms of errors in this study, namely the form of errors in the use of vocabulary, the form of errors in sentence structure, and the forms of errors in the use of question words. Keywords: Error Analysis, Writing, Introgative Sentences, Chinese

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to obtain data and information regarding the effectiveness of using integrative method in learning to read and understand German for class XI students of SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. This type of research was Pre-Experimental Design (one group pre-test post-test design). The population of this research was the students of class XI SMA Negeri 11 Makassar which consists of 3 classes. The sample was 1 class, namely class XI IPS 3 which consistsed of 34 students. The sample of this study was selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed by t-test. The results of data analysis showed that the value of tcount 54.41 ttable 1,998 at a significant level of 0.05. The results of this study indicate that the use of integrative method in learning to read and understand German in Class XI SMAN 11 Makassar was very effective.Keywords: Effectiveness, Integrative Method, Reading Understand

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus yang dirancang untuk memberikan informasi tentang keyakinan guru dalam mengajarkan kosakata bahasa Inggris di kelas pada Kelompok Bermain dan Taman Kanak-Kanak Kharisma Makassar. Terdapat tujuh orang guru sebagai subjek penelitian. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keyakinan guru dalam mengajarkan kosakata bahasa Inggris terletak pada kemampuan guru menguasai konsep pembelajaran bahasa asing untuk anak, memahami peran guru dalam mengajar dan pentingnya pendekatan komunikatif dengan anak.
