Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin, Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Asing, Fakultas Bahasa dan Sastra, Universitas Negeri Makassar. (dibimbing oleh Misnawaty Usman dan Burhanuddin).Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh data dan informasi tentang kemampuan menyimak dialog bahasa Mandarin Siswa Kelas V SD Swasta Frater Thamrin. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini siswa kelas V SD Swasta Frater Thamrin yang terdiri atas 1 kelas dengan 18 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan sampel 1 kelas terdiri atas 18 siswa. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes keterampilan menyimak dialog bahasa Mandarin. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik persentase dengan hasil termasuk dalam kategori Baik (83,6%). Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menyimak dialog bahasa Mandarin Siswa Kelas V SD Swasta Frater Thamrin adalah baik (83,6%).Kata Kunci : Dialog, Menyimak, Bahasa Mandarin

This research is a quantitative descriptive study that aims to obtain data on the ability to use the negation word 不 (Bù) and 没 (Méi) in Mandarin sentence of class VIII students of Makassar FRATER Middle School. The population in this study was students at class VIII of SMP FRATER Makassar consisting of 8 classes totaling 208 students. The sampling technique was carried out using random sampling, then the sample of this study was class VIII D which 30 students. This research data was obtained from the correct test true and false. Data is analyzed using a percentage technique with a 73%. The results showed that the level of ability to use the negation word 不 (Bù) and 没 (Méi) in the Mandarin sentence of students was in a capable category (73%). This research is quasi-experimental research, the research is to find out the effectiveness of picture media on writing hanzi of six grades’ students at Frater Elementary School Makassar. Sample of the research were 14 students in experimental group and 14 students in control group, which was the total sampling. This data research obtained by writing hanzi test and was analyzed using t-test. The result of this research shows that tcount is higher than ttable (4.374 > 2.056) significant level of 0.05. The use of picture media is effective on writing hanzi of six grades’ students at Frater Elementary School Makassar.Keywords: Effectiveness, Picture Media, Writing, Chinese.

REZNUN MUTMAINNAH, 2021. "Motivation to Learn Mandarin Students for Class VIII Students of Frater Makassar Junior High School". Thesis. Mandarin Education Study Program, Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Languages and Literature. Makassar State University (supervised by Misnawaty Usman and Burhanuddin).The method used in this study was quantitative descriptive that used questionnaires as a data collection technique. This study aims to determine what factors that influence that student’s motivation in learning Mandarin in SMP Frater Makassar grade VIII, the sample was taken from one class which consist of 33 students. The results showed that 51.5% of students practiced pronunciation in Mandarin, 63.6% of students were able to work on Chinese questions well, and 72.7% of students were motivated to learn Mandarin because of the teacher's role in providing direction during the learning process. included in the high category. Baso Heriadi, 2021. “The Effectiveness of Power Point Media in Writing Skills Hanzi, a Class VIII Student of the Frater Makassar Junior High School”. Essay. Mandarin Education Study Program. Department of Foreign Language Education. Faculty of Languagesand Letters. Makassar State University (supervised by Muh. Anwar and Misnawaty Usman). This research is an quasi experimental , which has 2 variables, namely power point media as the independent variable, namely writing hanzi as the dependent variable. The population of this study was 209 class VIII students at Frater Makassar Junior High School, the sample used by random sampling in this study was class VIII A students at Frater Makassar Junior High School, which amounted to 20 students as control class and class VIII B Middle School students. First Frater Makassar, which consisted of 20 students as the experimental class. The data of this study were obtained through the Chinese writing test and analyzed using the T test. H1: The use of power point media was effective in Chinese writing skills Grade VIII students of the Frater Makassar Junior High School, were accepted. H0 : The use of power point media is not effective in Chinese writing skills Grade VIII students of the Frater Makassar Junior High School, are rejected. The results of this study indicate that tcount is greater than ttable (13.47> 2.03) with a significant level of 0.05. This means that the use of power point slides is effective for writing Chinese students in class VIII of the Frater Makassar Junior High School.Keywords: Effectiveness, Power Point Media, Writing Skill, And Hanzi.

ABSTRACT This research aims to improve students' Chinese vocabulary through the kahoot application. The sample of this research is 10 students of class X. This research is a classroom action research which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. The instrument used is a test of increasing Chinese vocabulary and observation sheets. This study consisted of two, namely qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that the application of kahoot could increase students' Chinese vocabulary. This can be proven by the increase in students' Chinese vocabulary from the first cycle, the average obtained is 66.5 and in the second cycle with an average of 82. These results indicate that the students' Mandarin vocabulary has increased by 15.5.

INTAN MEYLENIA NAGA-ULAWENG, 2021, "The 8th Frater Junior High School Chinese Text Reading Ability in Makassar". paper. National language education in the Department of Foreign Languages. Language and Writing College. Makassar State University (supervised by Misnawaty Usman and Burhanuddin). The purpose of this research is to obtain data and information about the reading and comprehension of Chinese texts in the eighth grade of Makassar Junior High School. This study is a quantitative descriptive study. The object of this study is the eighth class of Frater Junior High School in Makassar City, with a total of eight classes and a total of 248 students. The sample of this study is the eighth grade G class with a total of 29 students. The samples were determined by random sampling method. The results of the study showed that the Chinese reading and comprehension abilities of the eighth Class G students belonged to the general category (75.4%). Maemunah, 2021. Ability to Write Number Symbols (shù zì) in Chinese for High School Students Celebes Global School Makassar. Thesis. Mandarin Language Education Study Program, Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Languages and Literature. Makassar State University (supervised by Misnawaty Usman and Hasmawati).This research is a descriptive quantitative research to describe the students’ ability to write Mandarin numbers at the 10th grade of SMA Celebes Global School Makassar which collected 14 students of class X of SMA Celebes Global School. The data of this study was gathered throght tests and documentation. The analysis result shows that the students’ ability to write the Mandarin numeric number is 81% or in good category. This research was conducted to obtain data and information regarding the analysis of complementary words of directions (Qūxiàng Bǔyǔ) 来 (Lái) and 去 (Qù) of Mandarin sentences in MAS An-Nuriyah Bontocini Jeneponto, grade XI. The type of this research used descriptive qualitative. The population in this study were 40 students of class XI MAS An-Nuriyah Bontocini Jeneponto consisting of 18 students of class XI science and 20 students of class XI social studies. The sample of this study was 18 students, and the sampling method was full sampling. The data of this study were obtained through an error analysis test of the complementary word of direction来 (Lái) and 去 (Qù) in Mandarin sentences of class XI Students of MAS An-Nuriyah Bontocini Jeneponto. The data analysis used percentage technique with the results of the percentage analysis that 28%, it shows that the analysis of errors in the direction of complementary words of direction来 (Lái) and 去 (Qù) in of Mandarin sentences in MAS An-Nuriyah Bontocini Jeneponto, grade XI .

This study is an ethnographic study with a qualitative approach which aims to determine the meaning and function of burning spirit money in the Chinese community of Makassar City in cross-cultural knowledge learning. The informants in this study were three Chinese people in Makassar City who still carry out the tradition of burning spirit money with observation and interview data collection techniques. The results of the interview were written into a transcript which was made into an abstraction. The abstractions that have been made are grouped based on the taxonomy of the research domain, a cultural theme is determined for writing an ethnography. The results of the study concluded that the meaning of burning spirit money was to honor those who had died and that spirit money was used to ransom the King of Hell so that the departed ancestors could be immediately released. Burning spirit money serves so that family members who have died can buy whatever they want in the afterlife. The cultural values contained in the burning of spirit money are religious values and cultural education values. The importance of studying cross-cultural knowledge is to avoid misunderstandings between people with different cultures. Keywords: Spiritual Money, Chinese Society, Cross Culture
