Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to obtain data and information about the effectiveness of Snakes and Ladders learning media in increasing the German vocabulary of class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Komodo. This type of research is an experimental quantitative research model using a Pre-Experimental design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this research is the students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Komodo. The sample is 1 class, namely class XI Language and Culture which consists of 30 students. The sample of this study was selected using a total sampling technique. The data were collected using a test, while the research data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially with the t-test. The results of data analysis showed that the value of tcount was 79.31 ttable 2.002 at a significant level of 0.05. The results of this study indicate that Snakes and Ladders learning media in improving German Vocabulary of class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Komodo is effective. Keywords: Effectiveness, Snakes and Ladders Media, German Vocabulary

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of speaking skills of class X IBB SMAN 5 Tana Toraja students through the application of the Gruppenarbeit method. the type of research used is classroom action research.  This research consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of the planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage, and reflection stage. research subjects were students of class X IBB SMAN 5 Tana Toraja, as many as 34 students.  the results of data analysis showed that the German speaking skill with the score obtained by the students in the first cycle was 56% and the second cycle 80%. From the data from this research, it can be concluded that the use of the Gruppenarbeit method can improve the German speaking skills of class X IBB SMAN 5 Tana Toraja students. Keywords: Classroom Action Research, Speaking Skills, Gruppenarbeit Method.

Abstract

              Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji fungsi dan makna fengshui bagi masyarakat Tionghoa di kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian etnografi dan pemerolehan data melalui wawancara. Informan penelitian adalah warga Tionghoa yang berdomisili di kota Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna fengshui dalam kehidupan masyarakat Tionghoa di kota Makassar adalah menyelaraskan, menyeimbangkan, dan mengharmonisasikan kehidupan antarmanusia dan alam semesta. Fungsi fengshui sebagai patokan untuk mengatur dan menata bangunan agar tercipta energi yang baik dan seimbang sehingga mendatangkan keberuntungan dan keberhasilan. Pada pembelajaran pengetahuan lintas budaya fengshui sebagai sebuah tahapan agar masyarakat Tionghoa menyadari akan budayanya sendiri dan masyarakat lokal menghormati adanya keberagaman budaya.          Kata Kunci :  Fengshui, Masyarakat Tionghoa, Kota Makassar, Lintas Budaya

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menggambarkan problematika pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Limbung dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Limbung yang berjumlah 60 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel total yakni 60 siswa yang terdiri dari 2 kelas (IPA dan IPS). Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan angket yang diisi langsung oleh siswa dan wawancara guru mata pelajaran bahasa Arab. Data angket dianalisis menggunakan rumus P = F/N x 100%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Limbung mengalami banyak masalah yang menyebabkan siswa tidak lancar dalam berbicara bahasa Arab.  Masalah tersebut meliputi siswa merasa: 1) Bahasa Arab sulit, 2) Gugup berbicara bahasa Arab, 3) Kosakata kurang, 4) Kosakata tidak pernah bertambah, 5) Tidak tertarik menggunakan bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa sehari-hari, 6) Tidak pernah memperhatikan tata bahasa Arab, 7) Tidak berlatih berbicara Arab, 8) Kurangnya media, 9) Sekolah tidak mengadakan kegiatan berbicara bahasa Arab, 10) Kurangnya persediaan buku bahasa Arab, 11) kurangnya evaluasi oleh guru, 12) Kurangnya Imbauan berbahasa Arab. Masalah yang dihadapi disebabkan oleh dua faktor, faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi: 1) Kurangnya minat dan motivasi siswa, 2) Latar belakang pendidikan siswa, 3) Mental dan kesiapan siswa 4) Kosakata. Faktor eksternal meliputi: 1) guru, 2) sarana dan prasarana, 3) sekolah.

Abstract

Media of Moodle in Writing Skills in Forumsbeitrag the Students of the German Language Education Faculty of Langauge and Literature Universitas Negeri Makassar. This study aims to obtain data and information regarding the use of Moodle on the writing skills of german language Forumsbeitrag in fourth semester students of the German Language Study Program at FBS UNM. Moodle is software that is used to develop and run Internet-based learning that has features such as uploading and sharing material, forums and conversations, quizzes, gathering and reviewing assignments, and recording grades. Forumsbeitrag is writting or written in a discussion forum to discuss a theme. In the Goethe-Institut German standard B1 level exam, Forumsbeitrag is the second part of the writing test. The design of this study is quasi-experimental. The research subjects were 52 students of fourth semester who programmed the course Schriftlicher Ausdruck consisting of 27 students in class A as an experimental class and 25 people in class B as a control class. Data is collected by providing a pretest and posttest in the form of writing Forumsbeitrag. Data analysis was performed through normality test, homogeneity test and t-test. The results showed that t-count = 1.50 < t-table = 2.009 at the 0.05 significance level. This means that Moodle is not effective in learning of writing the Forumsbeitrag for students in the German Language Study Program, FBS UNM.

Abstract

This study aims to make the process of learning German vocabulary more interesting and easy to master. an alternative in learning vocabulary, namely using the Westley & Maclean communication model. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Then data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the data obtained, an analysis and interpretation of the meaning of the data is carried out. The theory used is the Westley & Maclean communication model. The results of this study indicate that communication has an important role in learning German vocabulary. The proof can be seen in the communication model applied at SMA Negeri 14 Gowa. The applied learning communication has been designed systematically.

Abstract

Public speaking merupakan keterampilan yang perlu dikuasai oleh mahasiswa menunjang karir mereka kedepannya. Public speaking tidak hanya sekedar berbicara di depan umum melainkan perlu keterampilan holistik dalam menyampaikan ide dan mengelola kepercayan diri. Pelatihan public speaking ini menggunakan pendekatan project based-learning yang mengintegrasikan tujuh elemen penting pendekatan ini dalam tahapan pelatihan untuk memfasilitasi pengalaman belajar yang nyata.  Tahapan pelatihan adalah  challenging problem or question,  sustained inquiry, authenticity, student voice and choice, reflection, critique and revision dan public product. Hasil dari pelatihan keterampilan public speaking mahasiswa melalui pendekatan project-based learning mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa, keterampilan komunikasi dan kepercayan diri di depan publik.   Kata Kunci: Pelatihan Keterampilan, Public Speaking, Project-Based Learning   Abstract: Public speaking is a skill that students need to master to support their future careers. Public speaking is not just about speaking in front of the public but requires holistic skills in conveying ideas and managing self-confidence. This public speaking training uses a project-based learning approach that integrates the seven essential elements of this approach in the training stages to facilitate real learning experiences. The training stages are challenging problem or question, sustained inquiry, authenticity, student voice and choice, reflection, critique and revision, and public product. The results of training students' public speaking skills through the project-based learning approach are able to improve students' critical thinking skills, communication skills, and confidence in public speaking.   Keywords: Training skills, Public Speaking, Project-Based Learning

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the increase in German vocabulary of grade XII students of SMA Negeri 8 Bulukumba through of the short stories medium. This research is a class action reseach consist of two cycles with each cycle consist of planing, implementation, observation and reflection stages. This data consists of two types, namely qualitative data in the form of observation data during the learning process and quantitative data in the form of test result to increase student’s German vocabulary. The average score of vocabulary mastery of grade XII students in cycle I was 55,52 and in cycle II increased to 81,04. The results of this study show that the use of short story media can increase the German vocabulary of grade XII students of SMA Negeri 8 Bulukumba.Keywords: Vocabulary, Learning Media, Short Stories, German

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to find out the problem of writing simple essays in German for class XI student of SMA Negeri 1 Takalar. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The source of the research data was class XI student of SMA Negeri 1 Takalar with a sample of 50 students. The research data is in the form of a questionnaire. The result of this study indicate that the students problem in writing simple essays in German are lack of vocabulary mastery, lack of understanding of verb conjugations, lack of ideas, lack of confidence, lack of facilities and infrastructure and not mastery of German grammar.Keywords: Problematic, Writing, Essay
