Abstract

The problem of this study is more emphasized on how much influence parents have in educating children to achieve success. The purpose of this article focuses on how to know and understand the impact of factors owned by parents, such as parents' socio-economic status and children's plans through education that parents and rationalization have made of the value of education can affect the success of children's education. The population and sample of the study were parents who currently have school-age children in grade XII in Malang City, with a total population of 19,501 respondents and a total sample of 377 respondents. The sampling technique used Cochran, data collection techniques through questionnaires with a 7-point Likert scale, and analysis techniques using multiple linear regression. The results showed that both simultaneously and partially, it is known that EP, EC, and VR can influence the success of children's education investment. Thus, further action is needed from the parents and the government in this regard to support the implementation of optimal educational investment to increase the child's potential.

Abstract

In today’s era, social media has become a driving force for increasing digital entrepreneurship. Businesses are utilizing social media sites such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, or even Facebook to brand their companies or products and interact with clients. This is great news for businesses, especially SMEs, to have low-cost access to key markets worldwide. One evident trend is the emergence of social commerce – business-to-consumer commerce without intermediaries, exclusive of other e-commerce models. However, the adoption of social media in digital entrepreneurship comes with several challenges, such as changes in algorithms that can affect content visibility and risks related to data security and user privacy. Nevertheless, social media remains useful in terms of analytics to support strategic decisions. This study shows the value of social media for entrepreneurship and technologies that help improve content personalization and consumer behavior analysis, such as artificial intelligence and big data. This study attempts to fill the gap in the literature by looking at the differences in the outcomes of social media use in developing and developed countries and the outcomes of new technologies on digital business ventures.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of digitalization on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) using a systematic literature review (SLR) approach based on the PRISMA method. The data collection process began with the identification of relevant scientific articles using the keywords "digitalization," "MSMEs," and "digital transformation," through leading academic databases, such as Scopus, Google Scholar, and JSTOR. The initial search identified 278 articles, of which 35 met the predetermined inclusion criteria. A thorough analysis of these 35 articles revealed that digitalization plays a pivotal role in fostering innovation within the MSME sector, offering benefits such as enhanced operational efficiency, expanded market access, and strengthened social, economic, and environmental sustainability. However, the implementation of digitalization in MSMEs is encumbered by several challenges, including limited resources, uneven digital infrastructure, and cyber security threats. The study underscores the significance of the government's role in establishing regulatory frameworks, offering financial incentives, and fortifying infrastructure to facilitate the sustainable digital transformation of MSMEs. This research provides strategic insights for policymakers, practitioners, and academics, offering guidance on the successful adoption of digitalization in the MSME sector.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the feasibility of developing digital teaching materials for Introduction to Administrative and Management Science based on Case Study and student responses to the development of digital teaching materials for Introduction to Administrative and Management Science based on Case Study. The development of digital textbooks for Introduction to Administrative and Management Science based on case study was developed using the 4-D development model by Thiagarajan, which includes four stages, namely the definition, design, development, and dissemination stages. However, this dissemination stage was not carried out because this study did not measure the effectiveness of the product or student learning outcomes. The feasibility of the developed textbook was determined based on an assessment by material, language, and graphic validation experts. From the overall assessment of the validation experts, the average result of the textbook's feasibility was 87.33% with a very feasible category. Based on this percentage, it can be stated that the digital textbook for Introduction to Administrative and Management Science based on case study is feasible to be used in the teaching and learning process of the Introduction to Administrative and Management Science course. Student responses were carried out with a limited trial on 20 students of the Office Administration Education Study Program. The student response sheet consists of 6 components of eligibility, namely the format, relevance, attention, satisfaction, understanding of the material, and confidence in learning outcomes, where the overall assessment of students obtained an average eligibility result of 86.66% which can be interpreted that the digital textbook Introduction to Administrative Science and Management based on case studies is feasible and interesting to use in the learning process of the Introduction to Administrative Science and Management course.

Abstract

Petani selada tidak mengenal musim, sehingga dituntut makin berkembang dalam usahanya dari waktu ke waktu. Sementara itu beberapa masalah dijumpai, antara lain petani menjual hasil panen dengan harga murah, kurangnya pengetahuan tentang perkembangan selada air dan pemanfaatan hasil panen. Dengan demikian, dibutuhkan peran serta masyarakat bersama pemerintah membantu para petani dalam pelatihan-pelatihan kewirausahaan profesional. Salah satunya tentang peningkatan manfaat ladang. Dalam mengelola ladang para petani harus memilih model pendekatan yang tepat sehingga dapat dicapai tujuan utama keberadaan tempat ladang sebagai tempat pemberdayan petani selada air.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Perkantoran kelas XI di SMKN 1 Bojonegoro. Pengembangan dilakukan untuk mendukung pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project-Based Learning) yang berpusat pada siswa, guna meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan kreativitas sesuai dengan tuntutan abad ke-21. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE, yang meliputi lima tahap: Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket yang melibatkan 20 peserta didik dan validasi oleh ahli asesmen, materi, bahasa, dan kegrafikan. LKPD yang dikembangkan berfokus pada materi aplikasi perkantoran, khususnya Microsoft Excel, yang menjadi kompetensi penting untuk menunjang keterampilan siswa dalam Praktik Kerja Industri (Prakerin). Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD ini sangat layak digunakan dengan skor rata-rata di atas 85% dari seluruh validator. Implementasi menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih aktif dan mandiri dalam proses pembelajaran, serta lebih mudah memahami materi. Kesimpulannya, LKPD berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar efektif untuk mendukung pembelajaran di SMK, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran Teknologi Perkantoran. LKPD ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar yang relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa dan tuntutan kurikulum.

Abstract

Indonesian workers are the second largest contributor of foreign exchange after oil and gas. Therefore, it is important to empower the group of Indonesian workers working abroad. This is needed to address the issue of Indonesian workers working abroad. Empowerment of workers can be done through training programs that can provide education to workers according to their respective interests and needs, one of which is public speaking. Through public speaking, it will train self-confidence to appear in the public realm or to the wider community. Public speaking training was held in Selangor, Malaysia, which was attended by 26 participants from AOMI (Aliansi Organisasi Masyarakat Indonesia) and lecturers who are members of the PKM group from the Office Administration Education Study Program, Surabaya State University. This community service activity was carried out in the form of training with lecture methods and public speaking practices for workers who are members of AOMI Malaysia. The implementation of community service activities by the PKM Team received a very good response, which can be seen from the questionnaire response data of 46.2% stating good and 34.6% stating very good, as well as testimonials from Indonesian workers in Malaysia regarding public speaking training which were responded positively. So that the training participants were very enthusiastic to follow this PKM activity until it was finished and the training participants wanted to be able to carry out similar workshop activities in the future, in order to support the development of their communication skills in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product in the form of a case method-based office communication e-book that meets the requirements of validity and usability. Novelty in research emphasizes a unique, contemporary, and specific approach to training students to communicate effectively in the office, utilizing books integrated with technology and a case-based learning approach. This research is a development study utilizing a 4-D model. The instruments used to measure the feasibility and practicality of this textbook include validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of data analysis show that, according to the expert's assessment, both in terms of material, language, and graphics, it is highly feasible, with an average feasibility of 92.10% and an average score of 90.2% among student responses. Based on these results, this case method-based office communication e-book is feasible and can be used in classroom learning. Therefore, the implications of developing e-books in office communication emphasize the possibility for lecturers and students to learn more quickly, flexibly, and contextually, so that students can apply concepts from office communication to face the demands of a very dynamic work environment.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi memegang peran kursial dalam menghadapi tantangan besar yang dihadapi masyarakat global dari konteks transisi Industri 4.0 menuju society 5.0 (Lantada, 2020). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis penerimaan atau penolakan mahasiswa terhadap ChatGPT dan mengidentifikasi faktor yang mempengaruhi niat mahasiswa dalam menggunakan ChatGPT dengan menggunakan TAM. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksplanatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu SEM dengan aplikasi SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hubungan seluruh variabel memiliki nilai P-Value < 0.05 maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa enjoyment bepengaruh positif terhadap PU ChatGPT pada mahasiswa. Enjoyment bepengaruh positif terhadap PEOU, trust bepengaruh positif terhadap PU, trust bepengaruh positif terhadap PEOU, PU bepengaruh positif terhadap PEOU, PU bepengaruh positif terhadap BI, PEOU bepengaruh positif terhadap BI, dan BI bepengaruh positif terhadap AU.

Abstract

Rendahnya Engagement (keterlibatan) siswa selama proses pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa yang kurang menjadi latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memastikan bagaimana menggunakan pendekatan gamifikasi berbantuan Baamboozle dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan hasil pembelajaran.  Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi-experimental.  Survei tanggapan siswa, penilaian pasca tes, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data.  Pertanyaan pasca-tes, lembar observasi, dan kuesioner tanggapan siswa merupakan alat belajar.  Uji normalitas dan homogenitas, serta uji-t independen untuk pengujian hipotesis, merupakan persyaratan untuk pendekatan analisis data.  Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan siswa dan hasil pembelajaran dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh gamifikasi menggunakan pendekatan berbantuan Baamboozle.  Analisis lembar observasi mengungkapkan bahwa kelas eksperimen, yang diklasifikasikan sebagai "aktif", memiliki peringkat keaktifan yang lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol, yang diklasifikasikan sebagai "cukup aktif."Jika dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol, siswa dalam kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan hasil pembelajaran yang lebih komprehensif.
