Abstract

Konflik merupakan hal yang tidak bisa dikontrol oleh manusia. Setiap manusia memiliki gaya manajemen konflik dan persepsinya masing-masing sesuai dengan peran, pemikiran, dan lingkungannya dalam menghadapi konflik, khususnya pada Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang mengelola karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui persepsi peran Sumber Daya Manusia dalam menghadapi konflik pada organisasi dan mengetahui bagaimana gaya manajemen konflik pada Sumber Daya Manusia di organisasi mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomelogi, melihat pengalaman dari mereka yang merupakan Sumber Daya Manusia menghadapi dan menangani konflik organisasi. Dengan metode kualitatif, dilakukan wawancara dengan empat informan yang berasal dari organisasi berbeda, dengan memiliki kriteria organisasi, yaitu organisasi modern dan organisasi tradisional. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah persepsi peran individu sebagai Sumber Daya Manusia dalam menanggapi konflik organisasi adalah hal yang alamiah dan normal, konflik dihadapi dengan bijak sesuai dengan penyebab konflik yang ada. Gaya manajemen konflik yang digunakan oleh Sumber Daya Manusia pada organisasi modern dan organisasi tradisional berbeda, pada organisasi modern menggunakan gaya manajemen konflik integratif. Pada organisasi tradisional menggunakan gaya manajemen konflik dominasi dan kompromi. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah gaya manajemen konflik yang dilakukan pada setiap Sumber Daya Manusia berdasarkan persepsi peran yang didapat dari prinsip dan lingkungan organisasi mereka.

Abstract

The presence of television within the border communities of Indonesia-Timor Leste in Napan Village (Timor Tengah Utara District, East Nusa Tenggara Province) has many influences on their daily life. The high penetration of television in their daily life makes them to rely on television both regarding content (TV program) as well as technological (physical) aspects. This research aims to analyze the position of television in building the values in the daily life of the people of Napan Village. Using media ethnography method, this research found that television has a central position in this society. Widespread of Indonesia’s television broadcasting program in the border areas of Indonesia becomes one of the factors that can foster to the national pride of the Napan people. Besides, possessing a television becomes one of important determinants of comfort in household audience. Television for the people of Napan Village also has economic value as a tool to help running their business in the border area in Timor Leste. The high penetration of television has also made television programs as one of the topics in daily conversation. The television schedule has become a community schedule.

Abstract

Family Planning (FP) is a program continuously promoted by the Government of Indonesia to control population growth. One of the government's efforts is to increase long-acting contraceptive methods (LAPM). Information about FP and LAPM is important for couples of childbearing age deciding on contraceptive method choice. This research uses the theory of planned behavior, and the present study examines the effect of information exposure about FP on intentions to use LAPM, mediated by several factors forming behavioral intentions. The present study conducted a cross-sectional survey of 74 women of childbearing age in Kampung KB RW01 Pringgokusuman, Yogyakarta City. PLS-SEM (Structural equation modeling) was employed to test the model's fit and path analysis. The present research found that information exposure to FP predicts attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control related to LAPM. The results also showed that the intention to use LAPM is significantly influenced by information exposure about FP mediated by subjective norms but not mediated by attitude and perceived behavioral control. The present study also discusses the implications of these findings for the theoretical realm and the practical domain of FP.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to see if there is a relationship between online learning and academic stress of students of the Masters Program of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University. This research is a quantitative study with the population being students of the Masters Program of the Faculty of Communication, Padjadjaran University who are running an online learning process, and the sample is 98 students. The process of collecting data in this study was by distributing online questionnaires using google form. The results of this study are that there is a significant relationship between online learning and work-life balance (H1), then there is a significant relationship between work-life balance and academic stress for Master Program students, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University (H3), and there is also a relationship between There is a significant relationship between virtual meeting fatigue and academic stress for Master Program students of the Faculty of Communication, Padjadjaran University (H4).

Abstract

Tingginya angka penderita kanker serviks antara lain disebabkan oleh kurangnya kesadaran dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan kanker serviks. Kanker serviks yang merupakan “the silent killer” adalah penyakit mematikan yang gejalanya baru muncul setelah 15-20 tahun terinfeksi, membuat perempuan tidak menyadari bahayanya penyakit ini. Oleh karena itu, salah satu cara dalam pencegahannya adalah dengan memberikan sosialisasi literasi kesehatan tentang kanker serviks kepada khalayak remaja. Remaja sebagai sasaran yang paling tepat untuk diberikan sosialisasi literasi kesehatan tentang pencegahan kanker serviks tersebut. Hal ini sebagai upaya pencegahan sejak dini agar remaja peduli pada kesehatan reproduksinya. Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan di SMAK Cimareme, Padalarang, kabupaten Bandung Barat. Metode sosialisasi dilakukan dengan pemberian ceramah, pemutaran video tentang kanker serviks, diskusi, dan pengumpulan feedback. Melalui metode-metode tersebut, pesan utama dari penyuluhan ini dapat dipahami oleh kalangan remaja, yaitu secara aktif melakukan deteksi dini kanker serviks dengan rutin serta dapat menghindarkan dirinya dari pola hidup atau budaya yang memicu terkena kanker serviks.

Abstract

AbstrakProgram Switch-Up sebagai program yang dijalankan oleh biro konsultan Switch-Up bergerak pada kesehatan mental dan pengembangan diri bekerjasama dengan Yayasan Sehat Mental Indonesia (YSMI), turut berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kesehatan seseorang khususnya pada kesehatan mental. Berbeda seperti biro konsultan pada umumnya, kegiatan dikemas sehingga menjadi daya tarik tersendiri dan cara program Switch-Up dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran kesehatan mental membuat penulis tertarik mengetahui bagaimana pengemasan kegiatan pada program Switch-Up sebagai promosi kesehatan mental. Melalui metode kualitatif dan pendekatan studi kasus, pengemasan kegiatan promosi kesehatan mental ini penulis menganalisa adanya interaksi simbolik yang dilakukan sehingga mengkonstruksi tujuan pada promosi kesehatan mental. Penulis mendapatkan hasil dimana cara program Switch-Up mempromosikan kesehatan mental dikemas dari empat aspek, yaitu aspek segmentasi, aspek kerjasama, aspek jenis kegiatan dan aspek proses kegiatan. Keempat aspek ini saling melengkapi satu sama lain untuk dapat terbentuk menjadi sebuah kegiatan yang memiliki daya tarik tersendiri di dalam program Switch-Up. Melalui hasil ini, dapat dipahami promosi kesehatan mental yang dilakukan program Switch-Up merupakan kolaborasi dari berbagai macam bidang sehingga dapat menghasilkan pengemasan yang secara langsung maupun tidak langsung membangun kesehatan mental, seperti menghindari masalah kesehatan mental, memproteksi diri dari masalah kesehatan mental hingga meningkatkan kesehatan mental dan menjadi lebih produktif serta berkontribusi terhadap lingkungannya. Namun, semua hal ini akan terus berlanjut ketika adanya komitmen untuk menyebarkan pentingnya kesehatan mental secara konsisten. AbstractThe Switch-Up program, a program run by a Switch-Up consulting bureau, is engaged in mental health and self-development in collaboration with Yayasan Sehat Mental Indonesia (YSMI), contributing to improving health, especially mental health. Unlike consulting bureaus in general, activities are packaged so that they become a special attraction, and the way the Switch-Up program grows mental health awareness makes the author interested in knowing how the packaging of activities in the Switch-Up program as mental health promotion. Through qualitative methods and case study approaches, In the packaging of mental health promotion activities, the author analyzes the existence of symbolic interactions that are carried out so as to construct goals for mental health promotion. The authors get results where the way the Switch-Up program promotes mental health is packaged from four aspects, namely aspects of segmentation, aspects of cooperation, aspects of types of activities, and aspects of activity processes. These four aspects complement each other to form an activity that has its own charm in the Switch-Up program. Through these results, it can be understood that the mental health promotion carried out by the Switch-Up program is a collaboration from various fields so that it can produce packaging that directly or indirectly builds mental health in a positive direction, such as avoiding mental health problems, protecting yourself from mental health problems, to improve mental health and to be more productive and contribute to their environment. However, all of these things will continue when there is a commitment to spread the importance of mental health on a consistent basis.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui; 1) Mengapa Kelompok remaja mengonsumsi alkohol secara berkelompok, 2) Bagaimana proses komunikasi yang terjadi dalam memutuskan mengonsumsi alkohol, 3) Bagaimana peran individu dalam kelompok remaja pengonsumsi alkohol, 4) Bagaimana norma dalam kelompok remaja pengonsumsi alkohol. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara yang mendalam dan melakukan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa; 1) Anggota kelompok Asikin Aja memiliki dua alasan mengonsumsi minuman beralkohol yaitu adanya rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi dan paksaan dari luar serta memiliki tujuan kelompok yaitu menjunjung tinggi solidaritas kelompok, 2) Adanya bahasa tersendiri di dalam kelompok untuk mengajak anggotanya mengonsumsi alkohol, menjaga tutur kata dan menjaga hubungan dengan baik antar anggota 3) Adanya pemimpin dalam kelompok Asikin Aja yang dipilih secara tidak langsung mengarah pada satu orang karena anggota merasa kapabilitas yang cukup dan bijaksana yang dimilikinya diakui sendiri oleh anggota tersebut adalah pemimpin dan adanya peran dalam setiap individu, 4) Ada norma tidak tertulis didalam kelompok untuk tidak menimbulkan kerusuhan saat supaya tidak memunculkan perasaan emosional yang meningkat agar tidak ada konflik dalam kelompoknya.

Abstract

Infertile patients need to prepare variety of information before decided to perform reproductive care procedures in foreign country. Sufficient information will help the reproductive care run smoothly. The purpose of this study is to determine the source of information, the necessary information, and the barriers to fulfill the necessary information of Indonesian infertile patients undergoing IVF programs in Malaysia. This study used qualitative method by conducting in-depth interviews with 11 infertile patients who had IVF experience in Malaysia. Results showed that infertile patients obtained information about the IVF program in Malaysia through four sources of information, namely: 1) personal sources such as friends and family; 2) online media which includes the google search engine, blogs and youtube; 3) medical professionals, whether doctors, nurses or other medical personnel; and 4) seminars held by hospital management. Patients information needs include specific information about IVF, medical system information, cost information, IVF legal information, and easiness information in the destination country. Language was found as an obstacle in fulfilled information needs. In conclusion, this study provides new knowledge about various sources of information used by infertile patients in fulfil their information needs about cross-border reproductive care procedures, with language as one of the obstacles.

Abstract

The marketing strategy applied by non-profit organizations or government agencies is not much different from the marketing strategy of private companies, because both have products or services that need to be marketed for the benefit of consumers. One of the government institutions that requires a marketing strategy is the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to meet the needs of data users and increase the dissemination of BPS products. The development of ICT in line with internet users in Indonesia is a promotional opportunity. This study aims to find out how the BPS digital media marketing strategy is to increase the dissemination of statistical data products. The method uses descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection is carried out by means of literature studies and observations in Central BPS, Central Jakarta, especially in the Directorate of Statistical Dissemination in the period January - September 2021. The results of research on digital marketing strategies used by BPS in increasing the dissemination of statistical data products are (1) through integrated statistics service website, (2) publishing softcopy books, (3) using QR codes, (4) launching the Allstats application, (5) infographics, (6) launching the Virtual Statistical Corner. The sales of printed books have decreased because they have been replaced by the ease of getting data online.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is a new situation and condition which brings a lot of changes, mothers with Down syndrome children certainly also feel their own experiences during this pandemic. The purpose of this study was to find out the meaning of a child with Down syndrome in the mother's life, and how mothers with Down syndrome children manage the activities and activities they face during Covid-19. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach. Data was collected by means of in-depth interviews and documentation with a total of five informants. The results obtained indicate that: 1) The meaning of a child with Down syndrome for mothers is formed from the experience of mothers having a child with Down syndrome, namely as an experience of a spiritual journey, a source of learning, and as a complement to life. 2) There are various efforts by mothers with children with Down syndrome to manage activities and activities during Covid-19, including managing children's school activities, managing children's activities & activities, and managing children's behavior, independence, & responsibilities while at home.
