Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hasil belajar keterampilan tendangan lurus pencak silat melalui model problem based learning pada peserta didik kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 159 Gresik tahu ajaran 2024-2025. Metode yang digunakan action research class dengan model siklus observasi dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari pra siklus yaitu observasi awal diketahui nilai ketuntasan peserta didik kelas VI UPT SD Negeri 159 Gresik sebanyak 4 peserta didik (29%) yang tuntas sedangkan 10 peserta didik (71%) tidak tuntas dari total 14 peserta didik. Peningkatan hasil belajar keterampilan tendangan lurus pencak silat pada siklus 1 adalah 9 peserta didik (64%) sudah tuntas namun 5 peserta didik (36%) belum tuntas. Pada siklus 2 mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar keterampilan tendangan lurus pencak silat sangat signifikan dimana selurus peserta didik yang berjumlah 14 peserta didik (100%) sudah tuntas semua. Disimpulkan penerapan model problem based learning meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan tendangan lurus pencak silat.

Abstract

  Developing teacher professionalism is an important concern for the government as an education provider. Teachers have an important task and role, not only to provide scientific and technological information, but also to form attitudes and souls that are able to survive in the era of global competition among their students. Efforts to increase teacher professionalism are carried out through teacher certification programs, providing education and training for teachers, forming Focus Group Discussions in Teacher Working Groups and Subject Teacher Deliberations as well as always being productive in producing work in the field of education. One of the important self-development activities for teachers to participate in is related to writing scientific papers as a condition for employee promotion. The aim of this Community Service activity is to provide scientific literacy related to article writing as an effort to increase the professional competence of teachers in Probolinggo Regency. The methods used in this activity are workshops, offline and online training and assistance in completing tasks. Evaluation of the implementation of Community Service activity is based on filling out questionnaires by participants with an average score of 4.46 on a scale of 0-5. The result of this training is an increase in participants' knowledge of writing sports scientific articles.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the relationship between nutritional status and physical fitness of sixth-grade students at SDN Pacarkembang IV Surabaya using a quantitative correlational approach with a total sample of 63 students. Nutritional status was assessed using the Body Mass Index for Age (BMI/A), and physical fitness was evaluated using the PACER Test. The results showed that the majority of students had normal nutritional status (42.9%). However, the proportion of undernutrition was still significant (38.1%), with most students’ physical fitness levels falling within the low to very low categories (50.8%). The Kruskal-Wallis test revealed a significant relationship between nutritional status and physical fitness (p = 0.000), confirming that good nutritional status contributes to improved physical fitness. These findings emphasize the importance of a holistic approach that integrates nutrition, physical activity, and health education in efforts to improve the quality of life of school-aged children. This study provides empirical evidence for the development of school health programs and encourages collaboration among schools, parents, and policymakers to support the optimal growth and development of students, although the results cannot be widely generalized due to the study’s location limitations. Keywords: nutritional status, physical fitness, elementary school students ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara status gizi dan kebugaran jasmani siswa kelas VI di SDN Pacarkembang IV Surabaya menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan total sampel 63 siswa. Status gizi diukur melalui Indeks Massa Tubuh berdasarkan Usia (IMT/U) dan kebugaran jasmani dinilai dengan PACER Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memiliki status gizi normal (42,9%), namun proporsi gizi kurang masih signifikan (38,1%), dengan tingkat kebugaran jasmani sebagian besar berada pada kategori rendah hingga sangat rendah (50,8%). Uji Kruskal-Wallis mengungkapkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara status gizi dan kebugaran jasmani (p = 0,000), yang menegaskan bahwa status gizi yang baik berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kebugaran jasmani. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan holistik yang mengintegrasikan aspek gizi, aktivitas fisik, dan edukasi kesehatan dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas hidup anak usia sekolah. Penelitian ini memberikan dasar empiris bagi pengembangan program kesehatan sekolah dan mengajak kolaborasi antara sekolah, orang tua, dan pembuat kebijakan untuk mendukung tumbuh kembang optimal siswa, meskipun hasilnya belum dapat digeneralisasi luas karena keterbatasan lokasi penelitian. Abstract

Technological innovation has become one of the main pillars in the development of modern agriculture. The use of tools such as drones, soil sensors, and automatic irrigation systems allows farmers to increase productivity through more efficient and measurable land management. In addition, this advanced technology also plays an important role in promoting environmental sustainability through environmentally friendly practices, such as more efficient water management and precision fertilisation. This article explores the positive impacts of implementing these technologies in increasing crop yields while minimising negative impacts on nature. With more equitable access to technology, especially for smallholder farmers, these innovations have great potential to ensure global food security while maintaining a balance between social, economic, and ecological aspects.

Abstract

Anggrek merupakan tanaman hias dengan bunga yang indah dan bernilai ekonomi tinggi. Warga Desa Pucang Kabupaten Banjarnegara belum memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang perbanyakan anggrek. Masyarakat menganggap anggrek merupakan tanaman mahal sehingga belum banyak yang menanamnya. Padahal perbanyakan anggrek dapat dilakukan dengan mudah dan murah. Oleh karena itu, perlu diberikan motivasi kepada warga dengan pelatihan tentang perbanyakan tanaman anggrek. Tujuan PKM ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan warga Desa Pucang dalam perbanyakan tanaman anggrek Dendrobium secara split. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pengukuran capaian hasil peserta PKM. Penyuluhan berisikan materi teori tentang anggrek. Pelatihan dengan melakukan praktik perbanyakan anggrek Dendrobium secara split. Capaian hasil kegiatan PKM menunjukkan keberhasilan yang tinggi dengan kriteria >70%. Pengetahuan peserta meningkat menjadi 72,7%-95,5% dengan rerata 85,5%, dan keterampilan peserta meningkat menjadi 81,8%-95,5% dengan rerata 87,3%.

Abstract

Selada merupakan sayuran yang sangat disukai oleh penduduk dan dapat dibudidayakan dengan hidroponik. Penduduk Desa Pucang di Kabupaten Banjarnegara saat ini tidak memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk budidaya selada hidroponik yang mahir. Penduduk setempat berpendapat bahwa budidaya hidroponik tanaman ini menimbulkan tantangan yang signifikan. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting untuk memotivasi masyarakat melalui pelatihan instruksional tentang budidaya selada hidroponik yang difasilitasi oleh kelompok wanita tani. Inisiatif pengabdian masyarakat ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan warga Desa Pucang dalam budidaya selada hidroponik. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi penyebaran materi teoritis, aplikasi praktis, dan penilaian hasil yang dicapai oleh peserta dalam program pengabdian masyarakat. Konten pendidikan mencakup kerangka teoritis seputar hidroponik. Sesi praktis difokuskan pada budidaya hidroponik tanaman selada. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan keberhasilan pencapaian tujuan, yang dibuktikan dengan peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta melebihi 70%, yaitu mulai dari 65%-90% dengan rata-rata 79% untuk pengetahuan dan dari 60%-90% dengan rata-rata 77% untuk keterampilan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of traditional games as a learning medium on students’ motivation and engagement in elementary schools. The research background was based on the low level of motivation and engagement when students participate in conventional learning activities. The study employed a one group pretest-posttest design with a sample of 27 elementary school students. Research instruments consisted of motivation and engagement questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and paired sample t-test. The results showed significant differences between pretest and posttest scores for both students’ motivation and engagement. The average score of motivation increased from 67.22 in the pretest to 79.26 in the posttest, while the engagement score rose from 64.96 in the pretest to 76.96 in the posttest. The paired sample t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant improvement after the application of traditional games in learning. It can be concluded that traditional games as a learning medium are effective in enhancing students’ motivation and engagement. These findings highlight the importance of integrating traditional games into the learning process in elementary schools as a strategy to create enjoyable, contextual, and holistic learning experiences that support students’ overall development

Abstract

Learning soccer in junior high schools (SMP) still experiences several problems. Some of them are low student participation, the use of a dominant conventional approach, and the lack of contextual and fun method choices. This causes students to master the basic techniques of the game less effectively. The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the use of Small Sided Games (SSG) is as a creative approach to teaching early age soccer in junior high schools. Quantitative methods were used, with a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest non-equivalent group design. 40 students of grade VIII were the subjects. They were divided into two groups: one that conducted an experiment with SSG, and the other that conducted a control with a conventional method. A validated and reliable basic soccer technique skill observation sheet was the research instrument. The results showed that the experimental group obtained an average increase in score from 60.0 to 64.8, while the control group only obtained an increase in score from 59.3 to 59.6. Both experimental groups showed significant improvements, each with p < 0.001 and Cohen's d = 0.876, according to the t-test. The result is that SSG-based learning improves students' basic soccer skills better than conventional methods. In addition, SSG-based learning can serve as a strategic alternative for physical education in junior high schools.

Abstract

Sports talent development is a crucial foundation for building a sustainable sports achievement system. In Magetan Regency, talent identification is still commonly conducted naturally without scientific approaches, leading to suboptimal development of young athletes' potential. This community service focuses on enhancing the capacity of physical education (PE) teachers and sports coaches to identify students' sports talents using the sport search method supported by information technology. The program aims to equip participants with skills to apply physical tests, psychological questionnaires, and behavioral observations to help determine the most suitable sports disciplines. The implementation methods include preliminary studies, material and instrument development, pilot training, full-scale training, monitoring, and dissemination. The results show significant improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills, along with refinement of the sport search instruments based on feedback. This program is expected to accelerate talent development and improve sports quality in Magetan Regency systematically and sustainably.
