Abstract

This research aims to identify the principal's management in improving the quality of educational staff at SMAN 5 Karawang. Improving the quality of educational staff is important in improving the quality of education in schools. SMAN 5 Karawang is one of the senior high schools that has a good reputation in Karawang, but it still needs to be studied further regarding the quality management of the educational staff that is implemented. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Informants consisted of school principals, education staff, teachers and students at SMAN 5 Karawang. The collected data was analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that SMAN 5 Karawang has implemented effective education staff quality management. This management includes developing the professionalism of educational staff through training and development, using performance evaluation as a monitoring and development tool, providing rewards and punishments, as well as efforts to improve communication and cooperation between educational staff, students and parents

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi Virtual Reality (VR) dan Augmented Reality (AR) dalam pendidikan di Indonesia semakin mendapatkan perhatian sebagai inovasi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Teknologi ini memungkinkan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif, imersif, dan kontekstual, yang dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep-konsep yang sulit dipahami dengan cara konvensional. Penelitian-penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa VR dan AR dapat digunakan dalam berbagai bidang pembelajaran, seperti sains, matematika, geografi, sejarah, bahasa, dan teknik. Kedua teknologi ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang kompleks, memotivasi siswa untuk lebih aktif dalam proses belajar, serta memberikan pengalaman praktis yang lebih relevan dengan dunia nyata. Meskipun demikian, penerapan VR dan AR dalam pendidikan di Indonesia masih menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, biaya, serta perlunya pelatihan untuk pengajar agar dapat mengoptimalkan penggunaan teknologi ini. Dengan adanya dukungan yang tepat dari pemerintah dan lembaga pendidikan, VR dan AR dapat menjadi solusi inovatif untuk menghadapi tantangan dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia dan memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa.

Abstract

Bullying can occur verbally, physically or psychologically. This action has a negative effect on the mental health of adolescents, one of which is anxiety. Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest cases of bullying. The report of bullying that happened to students of one of the SDN Cikampek Pusaka I in 2022, is one example of the high incidence of this action in adolescents. This study aims to determine the impact of bullying with anxiety. The subjects in this study were students of class I -VISDN Cikampek Pusaka I Karawang Regency. The method used in this study is Qualitative with a class action approach with a total sample of 30 respondents using purposive sampling techniques. This study used the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) to measure the anxiety scale. The results of the spearman's rho statistical test obtained a correlation value (r) of 0.51 with a significant level (ρ) of 0.00 indicating that the value of ρ < α (α = 0.05). The conclusions of this study show that there is an impact of bullying with anxiety

Abstract

This community service program focuses on the implementation and impact of the Al-Miftakh method in enhancing the ability to read religious texts at Garunggung Islamic Boarding School in Karawang Regency. The Al-Miftakh method is a structured approach aimed at improving the reading proficiency of religious texts by providing a systematic and practical framework for learning. The program seeks to enhance the santris' skills in reading classical Islamic texts, enabling them to gain a deeper understanding of both content and context. The community service involved a series of workshops and hands-on training sessions where santri were systematically guided through the Al-Miftakh method. The sessions were followed by assessments to evaluate their progress. The results indicated that the Al-Miftakh method significantly improved reading fluency and comprehension among the participants. Out of 85 students involved in the program, 89% reported an improvement in their skills based on post-training surveys. This program concludes that structured reading methods like the Al-Miftakh method are highly effective in contributing to the educational development of santri in Islamic boarding schools, offering them valuable tools to better understand religious texts.

Abstract

This purpose of this study is to describe various strategies for implementing character education at MTs Al-Furqon through example and habituation. This research is a descriptive study using qualitative methods. This research was conducted at MTs Al-Furqon. The objects of this research is the teacher and student. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of the study indicate that excemplary and habituation are important things that must be considered in the process of internalizing character values in schools. There are several strategies for implementing character education, such as the habit of dhuha prayer, congregational prayer, and talaqqi of the Qur’an. The implementation of character education cannot be separated from the role of principals, teachers, staff, and students.

Abstract

Teachers lack knowledge and skills in scientific publications. Scientific publication is an effort to improve the mastery of science and skills in carrying out lifelong learning for teachers. This study aims to collect information, analyze, and describe elementary school teachers' ability and training needs in scientific publications, including the inhibiting factors and the required solutions. The research was conducted using mixed methods with an explanatory design involving 87 elementary school teachers. Data was collected through survey techniques, interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative, qualitative, and triangulation descriptive techniques. The results showed that although teachers received the socialization and continuous professional development training, the knowledge and skills of teachers in scientific publications were still very low. Some of the inhibiting factors for teachers in scientific publications include lack of mastery of scientific writing techniques, lack of IT skills, Weak scientific writing skills, low teacher literacy, lack of available references, motivation, time, widespread scientific writing services, and lack of training. Alternative solutions that can be recommended include improving the higher education system, notably the Educational Personnel Education Institute, and education and training based on the needs of teachers in scientific publications.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya sekolah dasar yang memperhatikan para penghafal Al-Qur’an yaitu SD Darussalam. Lulusan sekolah ini dapat menghafal juz 29 & 30. Dalam pembelajaran tahfidz disini menggunakan metode muraja’ah agar hafalan siswa tetap terjaga dan terpelihara dengan baik yakni dari segi tajwid maupun makhrajnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan metode muraja’ah dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an. Serta untuk mengetahui hasil dari penerapan metode muraja’ah dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru tahfidz dan siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis datanya yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode muraja’ah dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an siswa di SD Darussalam yaitu: muraja’ah hafalan bersama-sama dan disimak guru, muraja’ah hafalan dengan teman, setoran muraja’ah hafalan yang lama dan baru kepada guru dan ujian hafalan Al-Qur’an. Hasil dari penerapan metode muraja’ah dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an siswa di SD Darussalam yaitu para siswa mampu menghafal Al-Qur’an dengan baik dan benar sesuai makhraj dan tajwid nya serta mampu untuk mengejar target hafalan yang diprogramkan di sekolah ini hingga hasilnya pun terus meningkat

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality management of Agriculture-based extracurricular quality in Balé Atikan (TdBA) in fostering the character of love for the environment at SDN Ekologi Kahuripan Padjadjaran, Purwakarta. Tatanen di Bale Atikan (TdBA) is an environment-based character education program developed by the Purwakarta Regency Government which aims to instill the values of love for nature through agricultural practices, waste management, and environmental conservation in educational units which are implemented, one of which is through extracurricular activities. A qualitative approach with a case study method is used to understand in depth the implementation of the program. Primary data was obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, while secondary data came from school policies and Regent Regulation No. 103 of 2021. Miles and Huberman's interactive data analysis was used by triangulating sources to ensure data validity. The results of the study show that the TdBA program has been quality-based, with the implementation of the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle in planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. Key challenges include limited resources and continuity of practice at home. The proposed solutions are integration with the curriculum, external collaboration, and strengthening community involvement, so that the program can become a national model of sustainable ecology-based education. These findings make a significant contribution to the development of an adaptive, participatory, and sustainable ecology-based national education policy, and can be used as a model for the implementation of environmental education in basic education units in various regions.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Almushlih Karawang merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan Islam yang memiliki peran penting dalam mendidik generasi muda. Peningkatan mutu pendidikan di pondok pesantren ini menjadi suatu kebutuhan yang mendesak untuk memastikan bahwa lulusan pondok pesantren mampu bersaing di era globalisasi. Salah satu aspek kunci dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan adalah perencanaan pembiayaan pendidikan yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan perencanaan pembiayaan pendidikan kepada pengurus pondok pesantren Almushlih Karawang. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk membekali mereka dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan dalam mengelola sumber daya keuangan pondok pesantren dengan efisien. Metode pelatihan mencakup pemaparan teori, studi kasus, dan simulasi perencanaan pembiayaan. Hasil dari pelatihan ini diharapkan akan memberikan manfaat yang signifikan, seperti peningkatan pemahaman pengurus pondok pesantren tentang prinsip-prinsip perencanaan pembiayaan pendidikan yang baik. Mereka akan mampu merancang anggaran pendidikan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pendidikan di pondok pesantren dan mengidentifikasi sumber pembiayaan yang potensial. Dengan demikian, pengelolaan keuangan pondok pesantren akan lebih transparan, akuntabel, dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini mengambil pendekatan partisipatif yang melibatkan pihak-pihak terkait, seperti pengurus pondok pesantren, dewan guru, dan stakeholders lainnya. Dengan demikian, pelatihan perencanaan pembiayaan pendidikan ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat kerja sama dan kolaborasi di antara mereka untuk mencapai tujuan bersama dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Almushlih Karawang.

Abstract

Pendidikan kejuruan berorientasi industri menjadi kunci penting dalam menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang siap bersaing di dunia kerja. Kabupaten Karawang, sebagai salah satu wilayah industri utama di Indonesia, telah mengakui pentingnya upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan kejuruan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan yaitu dengan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab yang dilakukan di SMK Plus Laboratorium Kabupaten Karawang. Proses sosialisasi melibatkan penyusunan rencana kerja berkelanjutan bersama antara lembaga-lembaga pendidikan dan perwakilan industri. Simpulan yang didapat dari kegiatan sosialisasi ini adalah keberhasilan penerapan model manajemen mutu pendidikan kejuruan berorientasi industri untuk meningkatkan kualitas lulusan dan memfasilitasi penempatan kerja yang lebih baik. Industri di Kabupaten Karawang lebih aktif terlibat dalam mendefinisikan kompetensi yang diperlukan dan memberikan umpan balik berkelanjutan kepada lembaga pendidikan. Kegiatan ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga tentang pentingnya kolaborasi antara lembaga pendidikan dan industri dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan kejuruan.
