Abstract

Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan (PPK) Produk Unggulan Pertanian Demi Terciptanya Agropreneur Muda berfokus pada usaha-usaha bidang pertanian. Fokus usaha yang  dijalankan yaitu tanaman herbal. Abstract

Abstract Pondok Pesantren is an Islamic school that focuses on Islamic religious education, especially Al-Quran education. Drinking water that is healthy and fit for consumption will be an essential factor in increasing the concentration and ability of the students in understanding the knowledge. This service program aims to provide a drinking water treatment technology with a multilevel filtration method that will produce healthy and potable water for students and boarding school administrators. The products from this project are drinking water treatment technology and drinking water that is healthy and fit for consumption for students and boarding school administrators. The existence of drinking water technology supposed to generate additional income for the boarding school. Abstrak Pondok Pesantren adalah sekolah islam yang berfokus pada pendidikan agama Islam khususnya pendidikan Al Qur’an. Air minum yang sehat dan layak dikonsumsi akan menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi dan kemampuan santri dalam memahami ilmu yang diajarkan. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan suatu teknologi pengolahan air minum dengan metode filtrasi bertingkat yang akan menghasilkan air yang sehat dan layak minum bagi santri dan para pengurus pondok pesantren. Produk yang dihasilkan dari pengabdian ini ialah teknologi pengolahan air minum serta air minum yang sehat dan layak dikonsumsi bagi santri dan pengurus pondok pesantren.Adanya pengolahan air minum ini juga diharapkan dapat menghasilkan tambahan income bagi pondok pesantren.

Abstract

The rise of the batik industry in Jambi Province causes the accumulation of waste in the environment. Disposal of batik dye wastewater directly into the environment is one source of heavy metals entering the river. Palm Oil Fuel Ash (POFA), as a part of waste originating from combustion residues of oil palm, is potential to be used as a low-cost adsorbent in overcoming the batik dye wastewater problem. The POFA is also potential to be used in the removal of heavy metals and chemical and organic compounds in industrial waste treatment. This paper reported the potential use of POFA and the modification of POFA as batik dye adsorbents in overcoming waste problems from the batik industry. Results of this study showed that POFA could adsorb the dye in batik waste with up to 22% removal efficiency and adsorption capacity up to 62 mg/g. The isotherm adsorption in this study was in accordance with the Freundlich model that showed adsorption occurred at multi-layer and heterogeneous surfaces. The adsorption process occurred endothermically and spontaneously.

Abstract

Soybean is one of crop which many conducting in Jambi province, where this area is one of sentra soybean producer in Indonesia. Main constraint in expansion of soybean in Jambi province is ability of adaptation of low crop to condition of area that is partly are consisted of area of marjinal with level of low fertility , applies strains or cultivar indication by drought tolerance to earn is one of the solutions forplies strains or cultivar indication by drought tolerant to earn is one of alternative of trouble-shooting. Examination of soybean cultivar tolerance to stres drought at vegetative to generative phase (15 - 45 Day After Plants / DAP) done in glasshouse by using Split Plout Design. Treatment of stres drought as main check and soybean cultivar as child of check. From result of observation, treatment of stres dryness at vegetative phase and generative can reduce and pursues growth and result of soybean cultivar tested. But for soybean cultivar Derap-1, Dena-2, Deja-2, Dering-1, Grobogan, Detam-1 and Dega-1, treatment of stres drought exactly causes improvement of root length to range from 7,14 - 60,57%. Based on variable dry weigh seed,seven soybean cultivars tested canot be classified in group of tolerant and tolerant medium to stres drought at vegetative to generative phase that is var. Argo Mulyo, Dena-1, Derap-1, Dena-2, Deja-2, Dering-1, Grobogan dan Detam-1. Stres drought causes improvement can of leaf prthe mechanism of soybean tolerance to stres drought can improve root length as mechanism of tolerance in morphology and or improveprovement of root length as mechanism of tolerance in morphology and or through improvement of proline content as mechanism of tolerance physiologically

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang variabilitas karakter morfologi kelapa serta mendapatkan informasi tentang adanya korelasi antar karakter kuantitatif kelapa di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat. Penelitian dilaksanakan di 8 kecamatan yang terdapat di kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat provinsi Jambi, yaitu: kecamatan Batang Asam, kecamatan Renah Mendaluh, kecamatan Pengabuan, kecamatan Senyerang, kecamatan Tungkal Ilir, kecamatan Bram Itam, kecamatan Betara, dan kecamatan Kuala Betara. Penelitian dimulai bulan Agustus sampai dengan bulan September 2020, menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Data diperoleh melalui survei dan wawancara terhadap petani pemilik tanaman kelapa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportional stratified random sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel dengan memperhatikan strata atau tingkatan proporsi sampel yang diambil pada tanaman. Variabel yang diamati secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif yaitu warna buah, bentuk buah, bentuk cangkang, lingkar buah, panjang buah, jumlah buah per tandan, lingkar batang, berat buah, jumlah tandan buah, panjang tangkai tandan, panjang tangkai daun, dan panjang pelepah daun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kriteria sangat sempit, luas, dan sangat luas yang ditemukan pada karakter yang diukur secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Karakter dengan kriteria sangat sempit yaitu warna buah, lingkar buah, panjang buah, lingkar batang, panjang tangkai tandan, panjang tangkai daun dan panjang pelepah daun. Karakter dengan kriteria luas dan sangat luas yaitu berat buah, bentuk buah, bentuk cangkang, jumlah buah, dan jumlah tandan. Sedangkan hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan adanya korelasi antar karakter komponen hasil yaitu a) karakter panjang buah berkorelasi positif dengan lingkar buah, b) jumlah buah berkorelasi negatif dengan lingkar buah dan panjang buah, c) berat buah berkorelasi positif dengan lingkar buah dan panjang buah namun berkorelasi negatif dengan jumlah buah, d) jumlah tandan berkorelasi positif dengan jumlah buah, e) lingkar batang berkorelasi positif dengan panjang buah. Sedangkan korelasi yang bukan komponen hasil yaitu, f) panjang tangkai daun berkorelasi positif dengan lingkar batang, dan g) panjang pelepah daun berkorelasi positif dengan panjang tangkai daun.

Abstract

This study aims to provide information on the effective and efficient provision of rice husk biochar and betel nut biochar for the growth and production of rice crops in tidal marshlands. The research was carried out in community rice fields located in Pembengis Village, Bram Itam District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency, Jambi Province with a height of 3 meters above sea level (masl). This study used a Randomized Group Design (RAK) with two factors, the first treatment factor is the rice plant variety consisting of local varieties of white works, high strong local varieties, high-yielding varieties of inpara 3 and superior varieties of inpari 32, the second treatment factor is biochar consisting of no biochar as a control, rice husk biochar and betel nut coir biochar. Each treatment is repeated 3 times. The variables observed were plant height, maximum number of saplings per clump, number of productive saplings, panicle length, amount of grain per panicle, percentage of hollowness per panicle, yield of milled dry grain, weight of 100 grains of grain, length of roots and amount of grain contents per panicle. The results showed that the application of biochar to superior and local rice plants had a significant influence on several variables. There was an interaction between high-yielding varieties and local varieties with the application of rice husk biochar and betel nut coir biochar in tidal marshlands.

Abstract

Batanghari River is the primary source of water for the people of Jambi. Batanghari River’s condition nowadays is worrying because its color is no longer clear. This research focused on determining the content of heavy metals in the Batanghari River's water and sediment. The conducted analysis is an ICP-MS analysis to determine the level of heavy metal (Cu, Cr, Co, Cd, Hg), and an enrichment factor calculation is conducted to determine the source of pollution. The enrichment factor value from the Batanghari River sediment sample declined with the following sequence Cd>Hg>Cu>Cr>Co, in 10 pinpoint locations. These indicate a high degree of anthropogenic activities along the Batanghari River which become the source of heavy metals entering the Batanghari River. The average concentration of heavy metals in the Batanghari River showed that the metal concentrations of Cd, Cu, and Hg are higher than the quality standards that have been set, whereas the metal concentrations of Cr and Co are still by the quality standards that have been set in PP 22 the year 2021.

Abstract

Bullying is a form of intimidation by individuals or groups. This has become an issue that is attracting people’s attention nowadays because this behavior causes uncomfortable and even hurts both physically and psychologically. Many cases of bullying often happened to teenage children. And it is not uncommon for several cases to occur within the school environment. Bullying cases are widespread due to a lack of ability to control behavior and an inability to manage emotions and adapt to the environment. Some people may lack understanding of the emotional and psychological impact of bullying behavior on victims. Lack of empathy and knowledge about how their actions affect others can trigger bullying behavior. Early intervention in the form of counseling and better communication from parents and teachers to children in conditions of bullying is he best way to reduce the possibility long-term consequences.

Abstract

Semakin meningkatnya penggunaan teknologi jaringan komputer dan internet dalam berbagai kebutuhan namun tidak diimbangi dengan perhatian kepada sistem keamanan jaringan komputer. Jika tidak ada perhatian pada aspek keamanan tersebut maka ancaman–ancaman tindak kejahatan siber dapat terjadi. STTI NIIT memiliki infrastruktur jaringan komputer dengan media wireless (Wi-Fi) dan kabel (LAN) untuk menghubungkan berbagai perangkat dan koneksi untuk menghubungkan intranet dan internet. Dalam mengatasi masalah ini salah satu langkah yang dapat ditempuh adalah dengan melakukan pengujian dan analisa terhadap celah keamanan sistem jaringan komputer yang diimplementasi STTI NIIT dari perspektif luar atau teknik Black Box Penetration Testing. Pengujian ini menggunakan metode Penetration Testing Execution Standard (PTES) yang tahapannya terdiri dari Pre-Engagement Interaction, Intelegence Gathering, Threat Modelling, Vulnerability Analysis, Exploitation, Post Exploitation, Reporting. Pengujian jaringan wireless menggunakan tools CUPP, mentalist dan aircrack-ng sedangkan pengujian jaringan LAN menggunakan Nmap untuk mencari celah keamanannya, kerentanan yang ditemukan akan dianalisa berdasarkan database Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) dan database exploit-db untuk menemukan skrip eksploitnya. Setelah hasil pengujian dan analisa akan dilakukan tahap reporting untuk memberikan secara lengkap hasil laporan pengujian, analisa dan solusi pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan untuk menghindari serangan atau pemanfaatan terhadap celah keamanan sistem jaringan komputer yang telah diuji.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the optimization of Ultisol soil using biochar and compost to increase nodule formation and performance of soybeans. The trial was conducted at the Research and Teaching Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jambi, for six months from April through to October 2021. Three levels of compost (5 t ha-1, 10 t ha-1, and 15 t ha-1) were tested in combination with three levels of biochar (5 t ha-1, 10 t ha-1, and      15 t ha-1). A completely randomized design was employed with three replications. Each experimental unit consisted of 20 plants, and 25% of the population was taken as sample plants. Results indicated that the application of soil ameliorant in the form of Tithonia compost and biochar could increase soil pH and nutrient contents and reduce C/N ratio. Tithonia compost + biochar improved Ultisol productivity as indicated by increased nodule formation and soybean growth. The combination of Tithonia compost and biochar, each of 15 t ha-1, was the best combination for the optimization of Ultisol, which produced the highest biological nitrogen fixation rate and resulted in the best soybean growth.
