Abstract

Abstract. Database Design and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)-based Access Service for Health Center Transactional Data on Health Office of Sleman District. Health Office of Sleman District is the regional institution that is responsible for organizing health services in the area of Sleman District. In performing these duties and responsibilities, Health Office of Sleman District requires health data and information that is accurate, precise and quick to assist policy decision making process and the health sector by leveraging communication and information technology. This research aims to design a database and SOA-based access service for transactional data center on Health Office of Sleman District. Expected, the results of this research can help Health Office of Sleman District in monitoring public health and to establish interoperability with systems from agencies or other institution.Keywords: Health Office of Sleman District, database, SOA, web service.Abstrak. Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Sleman adalah lembaga regional yang bertanggung jawab untuk mengatur pelayanan kesehatan di wilayah Kabupaten Sleman. Dalam melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya, Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Sleman memerlukan data kesehatan dan informasi yang akurat, tepat dan cepat untuk membantu proses pengambilan keputusan kebijakan dan sektor kesehatan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah basis data dan layanan akses berbasis SOA untuk pusat data transaksional pada Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Sleman. Diharapkan, hasil penelitian ini dapat membantu Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Sleman dalam memantau kesehatan masyarakat dan untuk membangun interoperabilitas dengan sistem dari instansi atau lembaga lain.Kata kunci: Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Sleman, basis data, SOA, layanan web.

Abstract

Research on License plate detection system will be developed in this research. Vehicle plates detection will use a camera that mounted on parking gate. Detection process starts with collecting data using the camera. Preprocessing includes rescale the image into (640.480) pixels, converting the image into grayscale. Smooting process with blur method is used to reduce the image noise. Edge detection using Sobel on the vertical direction and thresholding. Segmentation process will combine 2 methods, Morphology Filter and Connected Component. Support Vector Machine (SVM) is used to test whether the candidate is a plat plate or not. Parking System Testing obtained the following results: Parking System Accuracy in detecting motorcycle plate is 78% and the accuracy car plate detection is 78% Key words— nomor plat kendaraan, Filter Morfologi, Connected Component, Support Vector Machine (SVM).

Abstract

  Background: Tonsillectomy is the intervention to take out the palatine tonsils either whole or sub capsular, while adenoidectomy is the intervention of extraction of the adenoid gland which is commonly done with curettage method. Both interventions are done to eliminate repeated infections and also obstructions due to inflammation and hypertrophy of the tonsils and adenoids. This study was conducted to examine the indications of tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy in the Departement of Otorhinolaryngology and Head Neck Surgery Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital Bandung in the period of January 2009–December 2011. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted in October–November of 2012 using 207 medical records of patients who had tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy executed in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head Neck Surgery Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital, Bandung in the period of January 2009–December 2011. Data collected were age, gender, main complaint, tonsil size, history of repeated infections, history of snoring as well as of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS). The indication for tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy such as infection, obstruction and neoplasia was selected.Results: The indications of tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy were infection at 106 (51.2%) patients, obstruction at 100 (48.3%) patients, and neoplasia at 1 (0.05%) patient.Conclusions: The most numerous indications for tonsillectomy and tonsilloadenoidectomy in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head Neck Surgery Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital were infection.Keywords: Adenoid, adenoidectomy, indication, tonsil, tonsillectomy DOI: 10.15850/amj.v2n1.447

Abstract

Recently of digital library technology is not only developed on the aspect of the system, but also in the interface design, because it has a significant role to reach the level of usefulness and success as source of knowledge. Digital library’s interface should be developed and can adapt to the needs of children, who have different of ability and expectation when interact the user interface design than adult. This research aims to design the interface prototype digital library for elementary school students, based on the analysis of chosen existing library. Tests performed limited on the interface “simple search” form on the ICDL, with field observation approach methods, and the 6 task were completed over 15 minutes. Layout space used a single room setup when doing the observation. Data were taken from 12 elementary school students (7-12 years old), who come from three different schools. Processed analysed by Bayesian probability methods. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the certainty of children had a difficulty when accessed forms simple search ICDL at the first used. Abstract

Abstrak Layanan digital library Universitas Gadjah Mada merupakan layanan yang diberikan untuk mahasiswa untuk mempermuda dalam mengakses informasi. Dalam survei yang dilakukan peneliti membuktikan fakta bahwa 57% responden rata-rata hanya 3 kali menggunakan dalam satu bulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor untuk meningkatkan penggunaan digital library. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan model kesuksesan sistem informasi DeLone dan McLean dengan melakukan modifikasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebar kepada seluruh mahasiswa UGM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bawah niat untuk menggunakan kembali dipengaruhi oleh tiga faktor utama yaitu kualitas informasi, kualitas sistem dan kualitas layanan  Kata kunci: digital library,DeLone dan McLean.

Abstract

AbstrakResiko keamanan informasi dapat dikurangi dan dihindari dengan salah satu bentuk dukungan adanya tata kelola yang terjamin kerahasiaannya, keutuhannya, dan ketersediannya.  Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan menjawab kebutuhan akan penerapan tata kelola keamanan sistem informasi agar terjadi keselarasan teknologi informasi dan bisnis dalam membangun kompetitif unggulan. Keamanan Informasi sangatlah penting terhadap PT. XX sebelum film animasi yang diproduksi akan ditayangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang mengidentifikasi resiko dan permasalahan sistem yang sedang berlangsung saat ini dengan observasi dan wawancara kepada pihak-pihak Divisi IT dan Manajemen Produksi di perusahaan tersebut. Hasil pada penelitian ini adalah dampak perealisasian keamanan informasi yang diterapkan berbasis SNI ISO/IEC 27001:2009 pada produksi animasi yang dinilai sangat membutuhkan keamanan data sebelum film yang dibuat akan ditayangkan secara publik. Kata Kunci : Keamanan Informasi, SNI ISO/IEC 27001:2009, Produksi Animasi.

Abstract

AbstrakBerjalannya perkembangan teknolgi informasi yang semakin maju dan pesat di era global ini, hal ini berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan teknologi informasi di kalangan perusahaan swasta. PT. XX yang juga beketergantungan erat terhadap teknologi informasi dalam kegiatan produksi film animasi. Namun, permasalahan teknologi informasi yang berperan penting terhadap perusahaan seringkali kurang mendapat perhatian. Akibatnya tidak dipungkiri akan muncul ancaman maupun kelemahan dalam teknologi informasi yang menganggu jalannya kegiatan produksi film animasi. Oleh karena itu diperlukannya pengelolaan teknologi informasi yang dituangkan dalam tata kelola untuk mengelola ancaman maupun kelemahan yang muncul. SNI ISO/IEC 27001:2005 merupakan framework sistem manajemen keamanan informasi yang dapat dijadikan dasar dalam pengelolaan informasi Kata Kunci : Keamanan Informasi, SNI ISO/IEC 27001:2009, Produksi Animasi.

Abstract

Abstrak Digital library Universitas Gadjah Mada merupakan layanan yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa untuk mempermudah dalam mengakses informasi/referensi. Terdapat beberapa faktor terkait yang mempengaruhi suksesnya penerapan digital library. Keberadaan faktor-faktor tersebut menjadi penting untuk diketahui sejauh mana kesuksesan penerapan digital library. Dengan demikian diharapkan fasilitas digital library digunakan secara optimum oleh mahasiswa.Penelitian ini akan melakukan penelitian efek moderasi tingkat pendidikan terhadap penggunaan digital library. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan model DeLone dan McLean yang di modifikasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebar kepada seluruh mahasiswa UGM yang pernah menggunakan digital library. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa hubungan antara kualitas informasi dan kepuasan pengguna di moderasi oleh tingkat pendidikan, Hubungan antara kualitas sistem, kualitas layanan dengan kepuasan pengguna tidak di moderasi oleh tingkat pendidikan. Penggunaan berulang digital library di pengaruhi oleh 3 faktor yaitu kualitas informasi, kualitas sistem dan kualitas layanan.  Kata kunci: Digital library,DeLone dan McLean,SEM

Abstract

E-learning is an IT tool that facilitates learning process. In order to optimize its function, e-learning need to be evaluated. There are many indicators on evaluating e-learning such as voluntariness of use. This study aims to evaluate factors that impact the usage of an e-learning system by considering voluntariness of use as moderating factor on e-learning usage. This study uses the UTAUT model that consists of four independent variables (performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating condition), two dependent variables (behavioral intention, use behavior), and one moderating variable (voluntariness). Voluntariness is hypothesized to affect the interaction of social influence and behavioral intention. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to validate the concepts and theories about e-learning usage’s factors at Universitas Sahid Surakarta and Moderated Structural Equation Modeling (MSEM) to validate the moderation effect of voluntariness to the interaction of social influence and behavioral intention. From SEM analysis, we can conclude that performance expectancy and effort expectancy positively influence the behavioral intention of e-learning. Meanwhile, from MSEM analysis we can conclude that voluntariness can’t moderate the usage of e-learning.Keywords: e-learning; SEM; UTAUT; voluntariness.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penambahan tepung herbal daun pepaya dan kunyit, serta Se dan Zn proteinat terhadap kadar glukosa darah, laktosa susu, serta dapat menjadi bahan untuk memperbaiki produksi susu pada sapi perah. Materi yang digunakan yaitu 16 ekor sapi Peranakan Friesian Holstein laktasi, tepung kunyit, tepung daun pepaya, mineral Se dan Zn proteinat dan pakan basal (rumput gajah dan konsentrat). Rancangan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, yaitu T0 (pakan basal), T1 (pakan basal + tepung herbal), T2 (pakan basal + Se dan Zn proteinat), T3 (pakan basal + tepung + Se dan Zn proteinat). Penambahan tepung herbal berupa tepung kunyit dan daun papaya 0,03% dari BB, Se dan Zn proteinat diberikan sesuai kekurangan ternak dengan dosis Se 0,5 mg/kg BB dan Zn 60 mg/kg BB. Parameter yang diamati antara lain glukosa darah, kadar laktosa susu dan total produksi susu. Hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata kadar glukosa darah pada T0, T1, T2 dan T3 yaitu 83,61; 82,33; 83,27 dan 91,55 mg/dL. Kadar laktosa susu pada T0, T1, T2 dan T3 yaitu 4,38; 4,38; 4,48 dan 4,42%. Produksi susu pada T0, T1, T2 dan T3 yaitu 8,98; 11,58; 9,00 dan 11,15 liter. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh nyata (P>0,05) dari perlakuan yang diberikan terhadap semua parameter yang diamati. Sehingga, kesimpulan dari suplementasi herbal dan mineral proteinat pada sapi perah tidak mengubah glukosa darah dan laktosa susu. Kata Kunci: kunyit, daun pepaya, glukosa darah, laktosa susu, Se dan Zn proteinat.
