Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the effect of herbal leaves papaya and turmeric, and Se and Zn proteinates on blood glucose, milk lactose, and can be used to improve milk production in dairy cattle. The material used is 16 livestock Friesian Holstein lactation, turmeric flour, papaya flour, mineral Se and Zn proteinates, and basal feed (elephant grass and concentrate). The design used was Completely Randomized Design with 4 treatments and 4 replications, T0 (basal feed), T1 (basal feed + herbal flour), T2 (basal feed + Se and Zn proteinates), T3 (basal feed + herbal flour + Se and Zn proteinates). Addition of herbal flour in the form 0.03% BW of turmeric and papaya leaves flour, Se and Zn proteinates given according to livestock shortage with dose Se 0,5 mg/kg BW and Zn 60 mg/kg BW. Parameters observed were blood glucose, milk lactose levels, and total milk production. The result showed that blood glucose level on T0, T1, T2 and T3 were 83,61; 82,33; 83,27 and 91,55 mg/dL. Milk lactose content in T0, T1, T2 and T3 were 4,38; 4,38; 4,48 and 4,42%. Milk production on T0, T1, T2 and T3 were 8,98; 11,58; 9,00 and 11,15 liters. There were no significant effects (P>0,05) of treatments in all parameters observed. Hence, it is concluded that the supplement herbal and mineral protein in lactating dairy cows did not alter blood glucose and milk lactose.

Abstract

Beam notation is a notation that is officially used in the whole world as an intermediary to do musical communication. In Indonesia, notation that is more absorbed and mostly easy to learn autodidactly is numbered notation, while beam notation is more difficult to learn and tend to be avioded. Traditionally, beam notation can be converted to numbered notation by fully relying on human skills and abilities. It is obvious that the conversion process would require much time and energy. Therefore, a new conversion application is developed to cope the conversion from beam notation into numbered notation specally for mixed choir, with representated in a XML file called MusicXML. MusicXML is a representation of beam notation that are more easily to be compressed and has a universal characteristic, can be opened in a wide range of applications. The purpose of this research was to design a fast, reliable and accurate application to convert beam notation into numbered notation for mixed choir which consist of multiple voice parts, according to the prevailing theory of music. Abstract

The use of some integrated circuits in an SMPS circuit are the main factor that increasing the cost. Self-oscillating feedback converter topology is a well-known circuit topology for low-cost application without using any single integrated circuit chip. In this paper, a Low Cost with high efficiency converter without any single integrated circuit component was analysed and designed. It has also multiple outputs of 3.3 V/1 A, 5 V/0.5 A, and 12 V/0.1 A so that it can be used as power supply for DVD player. Experiment results showed that it can deliver continuously output voltage as designed and a total output power of 7.3 W, with an efficiency for about 70%.

Abstract

Prototype of face recognition based attendance application that has been developed to overcome weaknesses in DTETI UGM student manual attendance system has several weaknesses. These weaknesses are a decrease in facial recognition accuracy when operating under conditions of varying environmental light intensity and in condition of face rotating towards z axis rotation centre. In addition, application prototype also does not yet have a database to store attendance results. In this paper, a new application prototype has been developed using Eigenface face detection and recognition algorithm and Haar-based Cascade Classifier. Meanwhile, to overcome prototype performance weaknesses of the previously developed application, a pre-processing method was proposed in another study was added. Processes in the method were geometry transformation, histogram levelling separately, image smoothing using bilateral filtering, and elliptical masking. The test results showed that in the category of various environmental light intensity conditions, face recognition accuracy from developed application prototypes was 16.71% better than previous application prototypes. Meanwhile, in category of face slope conditions at z axis rotation centre, face recognition accuracy from developed application prototype was 38.47% better. Attendance database system was also successfully implemented and running without error.

Abstract

The data processing results are commonly displayed in a dashboard with various graphic visualization forms to deliver new knowledge easier to understand by users. However, many data analysis dashboards cannot communicate the knowledge effectively and efficiently given the unsuitable design implementation. Therefore, research to measure the interface display's effectiveness in the data analysis system is deemed necessary. This research proposed a scenario modification in the usability test with a user story approach to measuring the system interface display in delivering the information to users. The approach of a usability test with the user story is expected to be capable of helping the researcher in understanding the user habits indirectly. There were 20 participants to validate the proposed method. Participants were asked to use the system and answer several questions to develop their user experience. After developing user experience for each user, the System Usability Scale (SUS) was conducted. SUS score results obtained from this research was 75.25. Besides, the researcher also measured the understanding level among the users using questionnaires. The questionnaire results were converted into numbers and resulted in a mean value of 91.8. Those two values indicate the users' ability to use the system well and obtain the new knowledge displayed in the data analysis dashboard.

Abstract

The Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia is known as Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK). In carrying out its duties and functions, it empowers and relies on information technology (IT) infrastructure that covers all aspects, including planning, procurement, service provision, information asset security, service continuity, and evaluation. BPK implements a collaboration portal to meet service needs and teamwork during the audit process, ad-hoc committees, and leader instructions to follow BPK’s strategic plan. BPK needs to assess the effect of the collaboration portal in supporting employee performance and improving IT services. As a result, this study aims to investigate the factors that influence the effectiveness of the BPK collaboration portal. This study used Delone and McLean model of information system success by looking at the relationship of system quality, information quality, service quality, facilitating conditions, and collaboration quality to user satisfaction and individual job performance. The research method used a quantitative approach with partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The sample data was collected from 60 respondents at BPK. The data obtained from the respondents were processed using the SmartPLS application. The study results show that information quality, facilitating conditions, and collaboration quality positively and significantly affect user satisfaction. There is a positive and significant influence of user satisfaction on individual job performance. In addition, system quality and service quality do not significantly influence user satisfaction with collaboration portal services.

Abstract

In recent years, a great deal of research has been conducted in the area of fabric image retrieval, especially the identification and classification of visual features. One of the challenges associated with the domain of content-based image retrieval (CBIR) is the semantic gap between low-level visual features and high-level human perceptions. Generally, CBIR includes two main components, namely feature extraction and similarity measurement. Therefore, this research aims to determine the content-based image retrieval for fabric using feature extraction techniques grouped into traditional methods and convolutional neural networks (CNN). Traditional descriptors deal with low-level features, while CNN addresses the high-level, called semantic features. Traditional descriptors have the advantage of shorter computation time and reduced system requirements. Meanwhile, CNN descriptors, which handle high-level features tailored to human perceptions, deal with large amounts of data and require a great deal of computation time. In general, the features of a CNN's fully connected layers are used for matching query and database images. In several studies, the extracted features of the CNN's convolutional layer were used for image retrieval. At the end of the CNN layer, hash codes are added to reduce  search time.

Abstract

The digital library has the purpose of providing services to the user, therefore, user experience factor and adjusting the display device diversity becomes the main thing to consider in building a digital library. The digital library is visited by many users because it provides a lot of information so that the existing content should be accessible anywhere, anytime and using a variety of devices. This research focuses on the design of digital library interface that adapts to the user experience and a variety of devices. The method used in this study is testing the user experience for the evaluation of digital library interface and Responsive Web Design for the development of digital library interface. The confidence interval is used as the analysis of the test data. Implementation of the user experience and Responsive Web Design in the digital library interface design proposals can improve the estimated percentage of success and task time users.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam proses penyelenggaraan pemerintahan saat ini menjadi skala prioritas yang terus dikembangkan oleh pemerintah daerah. Untuk mewujudkan kualitas tata kelola penyelenggaraan pemerintahan yang transparan, akuntabel, efisien, dan efektif, maka pemerintah daerah berusaha menerapkan kebijakan inovatif berbasis sistem pemerintahan elektronik (SPBE) sehingga mempermudah masyarakat mendapatkan pelayanan publik yang optimal. Namun dalam prakteknya, penerapan layanan SPBE pada pemerintah daerah biasanya akan menghadapi banyak hambatan yang dapat berujung pada kegagalan. Penelitian sebelumnya lebih banyak membahas tentang kendala-kendala penerapan E-Government pada negara-negara berkembang. Jenis Penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh  melalui wawancara, observasi, dan pengumpulan dokumen berdasarkan kuesioner Pemantauan dan Evaluasi SPBE sesuai Permenpan RB No 59 Tahun 2020 pada Pemerintah Kabupaten Maluku Tengah dan dilanjutkan dengan mengidentifikasi dan pengelompokkan data-data yang menjadi hambatan dalam penerapan layanan SPBE. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hambatan yang dihadapi oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Maluku Tengah dalam menerapkan layanan SPBE dapat dikategorikan ke dalam 4 hambatan / aspek, yaitu kebijakan/regulasi, perencanaan dan anggaran, sumber daya manusia, serta infrastruktur TI. Hambatan-hambatan tersebut dapat menjadi rujukan bagi pemerintah daerah untuk melakukan perbaikan dalam implemetasi layanan SPBE sehingga kualitas pelayanan publik pada masyarakat menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru (SIPMB) diharapkan akan memudahkan calon mahasiswa untuk mengetahui informasi seputar penerimaan mahasiswa baru (PMB), mendaftar, mengunggah berkas yang disyaratkan, melihat hasil verifikasi berkas, dan melihat hasil penerimaan mahasiswa baru secara daring. Meskipun demikian masih ada calon mahasiswa yang belum merasakan manfaat SIPMB secara maksimal. Maka diperlukan evaluasi terhadap SIPMB, agar diketahui faktor - faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi pengguna SIPMB dalam mendapatkan manfaat dari SIPMB. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Human, Organization dan Technology-fit (HOT-fit). Model  Hot-fit yang digunakan telah disesuikan dengan kondisi subjek penelitian. Ada delapan variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu system quality (SQ), information quality (IQ), system use (SU), service quality (SERVQ), facilitating condition(FC), organization structure (OS) dan net benefit (NB). Untuk menguji reliabilitas, validitas dan mengetahui p-valuemenggunakan metode SEM-PLS dengan bantuan aplikasi SmartPls. Ada sepuluh hipotesis yang diuji dalam penelitian ini. Dari hasil penelitian, sepuluh hipotesis tersebut dinyatakan diterima. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa system usedipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh system quality, information quality dan service quality. User satisfaction dipengaruhi signifikan oleh system quality, information quality, service quality dan facilitating condition. Net benefit atau manfaat bersih secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh system use, organization structure dan user satisfaction.
