Abstract

Investasi menjadi salah satu cara bagi masyarakat dalam menambahkan pendapatannya dan terdapat beberapa pilihan dalam berinvestasi seperti saham, reksadana, dan juga investasi yang bersifat Internasional yaitu Forex. Forex menawarkan pengembalian yang tinggi dengan risiko yang tinggi juga. Oleh karena itu, investor perlu melakukan analisis dan memprediksi pergerakan harga pada investasi yang dilakukan. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan melakukan analisis teknikal. Dalam penelitian ini, indikator analisis teknikal yang digunakan adalah Simple Moving Average (SMA) dan Bollinger bands (BB). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan keakuratan Simple Moving Average (SMA) dan Bollinger bands (BB) dalam mengestimasi pasar Forex. Pasar Forex USDIDR diambil sebagai obyek penelitian dengan data bulanan periode tahun 2018-2022.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see whether there is an influence of Intellectual Capital on the performance of technology companies projected by Human Capital Efficiency (HCE), Structural Capital Efficiency (SCE), and Capital Employed Efficiency (CEE). This research is quantitative in nature, using secondary data obtained from the annual reports of 15 technology companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2018-2021. The limitation in this study is the lack of samples used because many companies do not meet the criteria. The conclusions based on the research are as follows, Human Capital Efficiency (HCE) has no effect and is not significant on ROA, ROE, and NPM. Structural Capital Efficiency (SCE) has a negative and significant effect on the ROA of the company. However, it is influential and significant to ROE and NPM. Capital Employed Efficiency (CEE) has no effect and is not significant to ROA and NPM. However, influential, and significant to ROE.

Abstract

Islamic banking has developed rapidly in recent years, especially in Indonesia, so it is necessary to conduct research to examine the effect of risk management and macroeconomics on the performance of Islamic banking in Indonesia. Data analysis used the panel regression method with 14 Islamic commercial bank companies starting from 2016 to 2020. The results showed that the financing to deposit ratio had an effect on the performance of Islamic banks, while net-performing financing and the cost to income ratio had a negative effect on performance. Islamic Bank. Even so, the interest rate and inflation variables have no significant effect on the performance of Islamic banks.

Abstract

Disclosure of intellectual capital is essential in providing information about the company's intellectual assets in knowledge economy era. The purpose of this study is to acquire empirical evidence of how corporate governance influences the disclosure of intellectual capital of Indonesian listed companies in Kompas 100 Index. The sample consisted of 48 listed companies that had been sorted and tested using multiple linear regression methods. The outcome of the study showed that independent commissioner composition had no effect on intellectual capital disclosure. Board size, audit meeting, and audit committee have a significant positive effect on intellectual capital disclosure.

Abstract

Influence of corporate governance on corporate social responsibility activities with the moderating variable COVID-19 is still rarely studied in Indonesia and has attracted attention for research. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of corporate governance on corporate social responsibility with the COVID-19 moderating variable. The sample for this research is mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2017 – 2021 with a final sample of 36 companies out of 56 companies. This study uses simple linear regression to determine and predict the value of one variable against another. The result of this study is that the independent variables board size and institutional ownership have a significant positive relationship and foreign ownership variables have a negative significant relationship. In addition, variables managerial ownership, gender diversity and board independence do not have a significant relationship. For the moderating variable COVID-19 only partially affects to independent variables and the dependent variable.

Abstract

Internal planning and management are essential for MSMEs. Internal management problems at Espotam Moex are in the form of the absence of budget planning for raw materials for each month. The implementation of business running activities has not been carried out properly; in this case, the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is not written to be known by employees, and sales records still use record keeping in the pocketbook, so it is not easy to know the sales every day or every month. This condition was known when visiting Espotam Moex by observing, interviewing store owners and supervisors, and carrying out a series of documentation as information in the design. The results of these activities are in the form of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in PDF and hardcopy form, raw material budget planning using Google Sheets, and sales recording forms in Microsoft Excel and hardcopy forms. Other than those, it is necessary to consistently update SOPs in quality improvement, and Espotam Moex can develop its business along with recording sales using the system in the future.

Abstract

Practical work at Ma Oteh Coffee Shop is useful for overcoming the problems being faced by the shop in terms of increasingly fierce competition, this practical work focuses on how to market products so that they have a higher level of sales compared to competitors and also focuses on promotions that will used. The method used in this practical work is to interview the owner of Ma Oteh Coffee Shop to get information about the situation around the shop, followed by developing a system that will be implemented. The marketing and promotion carried out aims to disseminate information about the existence of Ma Oteh Coffee Shop. The results obtained from this practical work are registering the shop on Go-Food, registering on Google Maps, creating an Instagram social media account and carrying out promotions using the Instagram Advertisement feature, as well as printing a menu list that will be used by the shop.

Abstract

This research will examine and analyze factors such as board gender diversity, board tenure, board age, board education and managerial ownership on firm performance. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of these various factors on firm performance in the energy sector on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The approach applied in this research uses quantitative methods by collecting secondary data. The population that is the focus of the research are several companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which operate in the energy sector. The number of samples used was 46 energy sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period and were selected using the purposive sampling method. The data was then analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the influence of the variables used on firm performance. The research results show that board gender diversity, board tenure, board age and board education do not have a significant influence on firm performance, however, the managerial ownership variable is proven to have a significant influence on firm performance.Keywords: Board Gender Diversity, Board Tenure, Board Age, Board Education, Managerial Ownership, Firm Performance

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to identify the factors affecting consumer purchase intention towards ecologically sustainable cosmetic products in Batam City. The factors examined included subjective norms, promotion, perceived behavioral control, trust, and product quality. The data comprised of 322 questionnaires. The scope of this study was confined to Batam; therefore, the findings cannot be extrapolated to other areas.   Methodology: This study employed a survey to obtain data from consumers of cosmetic products in Batam. Results: The data analysis revealed that attitude, perceived behavioral control, sales promotion, product quality, and subjective standards significantly affected the intention to purchase green cosmetic products in Batam City. Nevertheless, trust does not have a significant effect on purchase intention. The findings of this study offer valuable insights for cosmetic companies to devise more efficient marketing strategies for green cosmetic products. Limitations: Data collection was exclusively conducted via questionnaires, which may have introduced respondent bias. Owing to its cross-sectional nature, this study could not elucidate temporal variations. A longitudinal study offers a more profound understanding of fluctuations in consumer intention over time. Contributions: This study validates consumer perspectives on green cosmetics and advocates for more explicit standards and regulations in the sector, and the use of sophisticated biotechnology to extract natural ingredients.

Abstract

E-commerce berkembang pesat dan semakin banyak pelaku bisnis yang memanfaatkan peluang ini dalam mengembangkan bisnis mereka secara online. Dengan hadirnya berbagai macam e-commerce di Indonesia, menyebabkan persaingan yang begitu ketat sehingga antar platform berlomba-lomba untuk menjadi unggul dan menarik bagi konsumen. Penelitian ini meneliti mengenai bagaimana pengaruh dari brand ambassador luar negeri terhadap minat beli di e-commerce dan dilengkapi dengan variabel lainnya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner berupa google form yang disebarkan kepada pengguna e-commerce di Indonesia dan terkumpul sebanyak 310 responden. Terdapat 6 hipotesis yang dianalisa dengan menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa price, digital marketing, serta electronic word of mouth berpengaruh signifikan terhadap purchase intention. Terdapat juga variabel korean wave dan brand ambassador yang berpengaruh tidak signifikan pada purchase intention. Variabel attitude towards ads juga tidak memediasi antara variabel brand ambassador dengan purchase intention karena ditemukan hasil yang tidak signifikan.
