Abstract

Muamalah contracts in the Islamic economic system have a fundamental role in shaping transactions that are fair, transparent, and in accordance with sharia principles. However, the community's understanding of this concept is still low, especially in the application of contracts in Islamic banking. Therefore, this research aims to improve the community's understanding of muamalah contracts through educational seminars held in Kalisari Village. This research uses a qualitative approach with anaction research method. The main data sources came from observations, interviews, and documentation during the seminar. The informants in this study were Kalisari villagers who participated in the seminar, as well as resource persons from Islamic financial institutions who provided material related to muamalah contracts. The results showed that the seminar succeeded in increasing people's understanding of various types of muamalah contracts, such as murabahah, musyarakah, and mudharabah. In addition, seminar participants began to show interest in switching from the conventional usury-based financial system to Islamic banking, which is more in line with Islamic principles. The main factor influencing this change was the hands-on education provided through interactive discussions and case studies.

Abstract

Background: Stroke or Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA) is a condition of rapid loss of neurological function due to impaired blood vessel perfusion. Stroke is caused by factors including: cerebral platelets, Hemorrhage, and Embolism. The impact of stroke is the occurrence of hand drop which is characterized by the inability to lift the wrist, move the fingers or experience weakness in the hand area. One of the treatment efforts to minimize the impact of stroke is to do Range of Motion (ROM) Exercises early. The purpose of this study is to develop a ROM aid as an alternative tool for independent ROM (stroke hand gripper) and assess its efficiency on the strength of the muscles of the fingers. Method: This study involved 30 respondents in the working area of the Cot Seumeureung Community Health Center, West Aceh Regency, using purposive sampling. The research design is a Combined method, namely the research and development method or R&D (Research and development) and Pre-Experiment. The results of the study showed that the average value of muscle strength before ROM exercises using ROM aids was 2.00 and the average muscle strength after ROM exercises using ROM aids was 2.35 with a significance value of 0.008 (p <0.05), thus it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in muscle strength before ROM exercises and after ROM exercises using ROM aids.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of infrastructure on community welfare in the underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions of Eastern Indonesia, measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita. The independent variables include electricity distribution, access to proper sanitation, road conditions, and the number of health facilities, using cross-section data from 51 districts in 7 provinces in 2023 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), and analyzed with multiple linear regression using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results show that road conditions, access to proper sanitation, and the number of health facilities have a positive and significant effect on GRDP per capita, while electricity distribution has a negative but insignificant effect; simultaneously, all variables significantly affect GRDP per capita. These findings emphasize that improving basic infrastructure is a key factor in driving economic growth and community welfare in 3T regions, and can serve as a basis for more inclusive and equitable development.

Abstract

Mathematics teachers’ strategies for cultivating HOTS-based instruction: A qualitative descriptive study   Abstract: his study examines whether mathematics teachers’ strategies for habituating Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) contribute to improving academic achievement while strengthening students’ critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. HOTS-oriented instruction requires the deliberate design of higher-level tasks and questions, facilitation of reasoning, and sustained opportunities for reflection. A qualitative descriptive design was employed. Data were collected through structured interviews with instructional stakeholders and analyzed thematically to map practices, challenges, and enabling conditions. The analysis indicates that the habituation of HOTS depends on consistent planning (explicit higher-order cognitive goals and measurable indicators), enactment (modeled reasoning, guiding questions, and sufficient practice time), and aligned formative assessment. The findings also highlight the need to strengthen teacher capacity in authentic task design, ensure access to suitable learning resources, and cultivate a classroom culture that supports elaborated student responses. Practically, more standardized routines and targeted professional development are warranted to make the effects on achievement and higher-order thinking more observable and traceable. The study offers an initial landscape of HOTS-habituation strategies in mathematics instruction and identifies priority areas for improvement.
