Abstract

Representasi matematis merupakan kemampuan yang perlu dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan masih rendahnya kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa pada soal asesmen kompetensi minimum sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, dokumentasi, serta observasi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru, kepala sekolah, dan siswa kelas IV SD N 2 Semampir, Blora, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Uji validitas data menggunakan uji triangulasi sumber. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu 1) siswa yang memiliki kemampuan tinggi mampu menggunakan kemampuan representasi matematis baik melalui simbolik, verbal, maupun visual dengan baik; 2) siswa yang memiliki kemampuan representasi matematis sedang dinilai mampu menggunakan kemampuan representasi matematis berupa visual dan simbolik, sedangkan kemampuan representasi matematis verbal masih kurang mampu; 3) siswa yang memiliki kemampuan representasi matematis rendah dinilai kurang dalam menguasai representasi matematis baik itu melalui verbal, simbolik, maupun visual dengan baik.Mathematical representation is an ability that needs to be developed to improve student learning outcomes. This is due to the low mathematical representation ability of students in solving mathematical problems. This study aims to describe the mathematical representation ability of students in the minimum competency assessment questions of elementary schools. This study used descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques use interviews, documentation, and observation techniques. The subjects of this study were teachers, principals, and grade IV students of SD N 2 Semampir, Blora, Central Java, Indonesia. Test the validity of the data using the source triangulation test. The results of this study are 1) students who have high abilities are able to use mathematical representation skills both through symbolic, verbal, and visual well; 2) students who have mathematical representation skills are being assessed as able to use mathematical representation skills in the form of visual and symbolic, while verbal mathematical representation skills are still less capable; 3) Students who have low mathematical representation skills are considered lacking in mastering mathematical representations either verbally, symbolically, or visually well.

Abstract

The Adiwiyata program plays a strategic role in fostering awareness of the declining environmental conditions. This research aims to explore the optimization of student creativity based on the Adiwiyata School Program at Elementary School (SDN) 11 Sondakan, Surakarta. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Interview results were obtained from teachers, students, and the school principal conducted from August to November 2023, observing Adiwiyata program activities, and documenting related Adiwiyata activities. The validity of the data used the source triangulation technique, with an interactive model of data analysis consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the Adiwiyata program at SDN 11 Sondakan has a positive impact, evident in waste management, creative student activities, and school greening. The implications of this research can be used as a model for Adiwiyata implementation to enhance student creativity and environmental awareness in elementary schools

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran supervisi pendidikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) pada era digital. Supervisi pendidikan di SMK merupakan kegiatan penting yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi guru dalam proses pembelajaran, yang pada gilirannya berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di Indonesia. Dalam konteks perkembangan teknologi yang pesat, supervisi pendidikan harus beradaptasi dengan teknologi terkini untuk mengoptimalkan hasilnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kepustakaan, yang melibatkan analisis literatur terkait supervisi pendidikan dan teknologi digital. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa supervisi pendidikan memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap mutu pendidikan, khususnya dalam konteks SMK. Penelitian ini menguraikan pengertian supervisi pembelajaran, peran kunci supervisi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, tantangan penerapan supervisi di era digital, serta strategi untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut. Temuan penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan supervisi pendidikan yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi dapat meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran secara signifikan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya peningkatan kompetensi supervisor dan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital, serta pengembangan kebijakan yang mendukung implementasi supervisi yang efektif di era digital.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of educational leadership in times of significant change and upheaval. The methodology used in this research utilizes a library-based research method or strategy. Library research is a systematic approach to collecting, examining, and interpreting materials from various library sources or related literature. The purpose of this research is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the topic or research problem under investigation. The findings of this study show that conversations around the period of disruption and leadership are associated with two very contrasting phenomena. Disruption refers to the global challenges that result in change over time due to technology, while leadership refers to the set of skills that a leader must possess to advance the environment in order for an organization (from a small group to a country) to survive and not sink but now advance through the use of technology. At the very least, you will know the psychological requirements one needs to be a leader when you lead one. It is not enough for a person to have psychological qualities or traits that enhance their leadership capacity for them to be deemed fit or appropriate for the role, they must also better demonstrate leader-like behavior within their team or among their members.

Abstract

Tiktok is one of the social media that is well-known among the public and even children today. The Tiktok application is popular with children because by playing Tiktok children can find fun and don't get bored easily. So that many mothers now let their children play gadgets excessively so that children do not fuss without thinking about the negative impact. This study aims to describe the role of parents as educators, as motivators, as facilitators, as mentors in minimizing the negative impact of using the Tiktok application on grade IV elementary school students and to determine the role of parents in overcoming the addiction of grade IV elementary school students. The type of research used in this writing is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques carried out by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. This research tests the validity of the data using source triangulation and technique triangulation. In the results of this study, the role of parents in education as educators, motivators, facilitators, and mentors is very important. So it is necessary for the role of parents in minimizing the negative impact of using the Tiktok application on gadgets to optimize learning development. Ways for parents to assist children in using gadgets include 1) Limit Children's Time in Playing Tiktok. 2) Selection of safe content according to the age of the child. 3) Balance the Use of Gadgets with Home Activities. 4) Establish Rules for Using Gadgets for Children.

Abstract

A media scrapbook is a type of learning media in the form of a book that contains information or explanations about the material presented with pictures and decorated to attract students' attention and make it easier for students to understand the material while studying. The purpose of this study is to examine digital scrapbook learning media in Social Studies learning Natural Resources content created by SD N 1 Paulan instructors.  This is a qualitative descriptive study. The use and growth of learning media in schools as a whole was studied. Data was gathered through interviews and direct observation of the state of learning media in schools. Teachers and students were interviewed. Teachers are asked questions about the usage and development of instructional media in the social studies learning process. Furthermore, learning observations were conducted to directly determine the use of instructional media in schools; the observations also attempted to strengthen the analysis's results. Overall, this study shows that natural resource teaching materials using digital scrapbooks developed by SD N 1 Paulan teachers are considered appropriate and effective for use in the teaching and learning process. The study's implications are that (1) developed teaching materials can be used in the teaching and learning process, (2) developed teaching materials can increase teacher insight in improving quality and creating valuable learning, and (3) developed teaching materials can be used as an alternative teaching material in learning natural resource material.

Abstract

The rise of bullying cases encourages research with the theme of anti-bullying school security management or violence by choosing a research site at SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta because is one of the child-friendly and adipangastuti schools that is very concerned about the comfort and safety of students. The research objective is to describe the planning, implementation and evaluation of anti-bullying or violence school security at SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. The approach used is a qualitative case study. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the research are: (1) Anti-bullying or violence school security planning by forming a violence prevention and handling team, preparing programs, creating links and complaint contacts, and maximising the role of Counselling Guidance (BK); (2) Implementation of anti-bullying or violence school security includes socialisation, implementing work programs and coordination between teams, monitoring links and complaint boxes, enforcing school rules, optimising extracurricular and co-curricular activities, building effective communication, and maximising picket officers; (3) Evaluation of anti-bullying or violence school security is carried out by the internal team and by the external team at the end of each semester, with obstacles in understanding bullying, the realisation of monitoring once a month and lack of coordination. The solution is to make positive activities in the form of competitions, monitoring activities prioritising quality over quantity and increasing coordination between the violence prevention and handling team, order and adipangastuti school. Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of audio visual media in thematic learning at SD Muhammdiyah Kottabarat Special Program Surakarta. Descriptive qualitative method was used to describe the implementation of audio visual media and its impact on the learning outcomes of grade 3 students. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that before using audio visual media, thematic learning tended to be less conducive and less motivating for students. After the application of audio visual media, there were positive changes in students' enthusiasm, focus, and understanding. The utilization of this media allows teachers to explain the material in detail and attract students' interest. Analysis of pretest and posttest scores showed a very significant increase, with the presentation of students who exceeded the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) increased. This study concludes that the use of audio-visual media in thematic learning can improve the effectiveness and learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

This study focuses on the efforts to cultivate reading literacy in the Indonesian language learning at MI Muhammadiyah Karanganyar. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research involves the principal, second and fifth-grade teachers, and library staff as the main informants. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results show that MI Muhammadiyah Karanganyar has implemented various literacy programs since 2017, including a 15-minute reading habit before lessons begin, the development of reading corners in each class, and the optimization of the school library as a literacy center. The stages of literacy cultivation are carried out through three main phases: habituation, development, and learning. Each phase involves activities that support students' reading interest, such as read-aloud sessions, book discussions, and reading reflection writing. However, this study also identifies several challenges, such as low student reading interest and limited access to engaging reading materials. To address these challenges, MI Muhammadiyah Karanganyar engages the active role of the entire school community, including teachers, the principal, and parents in supporting the literacy program. Additionally, rewarding students who are active in literacy activities is one of the strategies to enhance reading interest.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan proses tinjauan literatur. Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa lembaga pendidikan memerlukan sosok pemimpin. Penting untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk kepemimpinan yang tepat yang dapat mengawasi lembaga pendidikan secara efisien. Apakah seorang pemimpin benar-benar penting bagi sebuah institusi pendidikan? Kepemimpinan adalah kapasitas seorang pemimpin untuk mengarahkan, mengembangkan, mengatur, membimbing, dan mempengaruhi orang lain secara efisien. Institusi pendidikan mempunyai peranan penting dalam mengembangkan individu dan mengarahkannya menuju masa depan yang lebih menjanjikan. Kepemimpinan pada suatu lembaga pendidikan dapat diartikan sebagai orang yang mempunyai wewenang dalam menentukan pilihan-pilihan yang berkaitan dengan kemajuan dan perkembangan lembaga tersebut. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi pengertian lembaga pendidikan, yang pada dasarnya adalah sekolah, dan pentingnya kepemimpinan dalam mendorong kemajuan di lingkungan sekolah. Artikel ini membahas tentang definisi pemimpin dan kepemimpinan, pentingnya kepemimpinan, peran kepemimpinan, dan berbagai gaya kepemimpinan. dan kepemimpinan pendidikan untuk mengembangkan kapasitas pemimpin untuk mengawasi dan memajukan lembaga pendidikan secara efisien.
