Abstract

Regarding strategy, it’is always related to obtaining results or achieving goals, therefore it is important to have an evangelism strategy or discipleship service for church growth. The current situation in service activities and youth worship activities at GKKI Mujizat Telaga Punggur is not good and requires more intensive education what researcher have seen so far. This research uses qualitative methods and the informants in this research are five young people who were able to collect data from interviews. The results of the research found youth problems such as low time and spiritual discipline, responsibility in carrying out service tasks and not yet fully structured guidance in groups of young people. The purpose of this research is to describe how the process of this evangelism strategy influences young people's interest in worshiping at GKKI Mujizat Telaga Punggur, because evangelism is very important for church growth. There are lot of obstacles that hinder young people from attending youth worship at church, apart from the lack of availability of things to support the smooth running of worship as well as inadequate human resources. So there are several evangelism strategy efforts that need to be implemented, there are also forms of increasing interest in worship that need to be implemented and whether the impact of the evangelism strategy is in line with the hopes and plans to be achieved. So that we can find out how the implementation or application of the evangelism strategy offered goes according to plan and has an impact on the ministry and even the growth of the youth population.

Abstract

The popularity of the blue swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus) has led to significant overfishing. Aquaculture offers a potential solution to reduce fishing pressure, given that P. pelagicus is relatively easy to hatch, has high fecundity, a short larval duration, and rapid growth. However, knowledge about feed preferences and feed-use efficiency in P. pelagicus is limited. This study compared the effectiveness of three locally available feeds. A total of 160 juvenile P. pelagicus were divided into five repetitions across four diet groups: PPV (shrimp pellets + Perna viridis flesh, crude protein = 45 %), PAI (shrimp pellets + Acetes indicus, crude protein = 45 %), P100 (shrimp pellets, crude protein = 30%), and P150 (shrimp pellets at 150% of the dry matter requirement, crude protein = 45%, iso-protein to both PPV & PAI). The experiment consisted of three phases: a one-week pre-trial to determine feeding rates, followed by a six-week culture period (Period-1) and an eight-week culture period (Period-2). Body weight and survival were measured biweekly, feed amounts were adjusted accordingly, and costs were recorded. Survival rates and feed conversion ratios were similar across all diets. Crab growth was lower in Period-2 than in Period-1 across treatments. The specific growth rates for PPV, PAI, and P150 were comparable, while P100 resulted in lower growth. The cost of PPV was higher than that of PAI, P100, and P150, with the economic feed conversion ratio for P100 and P150 outperforming PPV and PAI. Shrimp pellets proved to be an efficient feed for the grow-out phase of blue swimming crabs, though pellet size should match the crab’s size.

Abstract

Blue swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus) is one of Indonesia’s essential fishery commodities, but overfishing has depleted its population. Aquaculture, as an alternative to produce this crab, is hampered by high levels of cannibalism. Substrates or shelters can reduce cannibalism. This study compared the effectiveness of one substrate and two types of shelter for reducing cannibalism of P. pelagicus crablets. Crablets with average carapace length of 3.6 ± 2.2 cm and average weight of 6.4 ±1.5 g.ind-1 were stocked in 24 rectangular tarpaulin tanks with 1 m2 surface and 50 cm water depth. The stocking density was 8 crablets in each tank. A split-plot experimental design was applied with four main plots and two subplots with 3 replications. The main plot consisted of A0 (without shelter), A1 (seaweed), A2 (pipes), and A3 (seaweed and pipes), and sub-plots had either no-substrate (B0) or sand-substrate (B1). Cannibalism (K), survival (S), and four water quality parameters were recorded for 42 days. The data were analyzed using an ANOVA for a split-plot design and post-hoc Tukey. The results show that the sand substrate significantly (P>0.05) reduced cannibalism and increased survival of the P. pelagicus. Treatment A0B0, without substrate or shelter, showed the highest cannibalism (54±7%) and lowest survival rates (33±7%). While treatment A1B1, with Gracillaria sp. as shelter and sand as bottom-substrate resulted in the lowest cannibalism (4±7%) and highest survival rates (88±13%).

Abstract

Abstract In Christianity, discipleship can be given to anyone, whether to children, teenagers, young people, even the elderly. Discipleship is an important step that must be applied to every believer. As long as the believer is able to understand and understand what discipleship is, it can be given to them. Preschool age is an age that has an estimated age limit of three to five years and this can accept discipleship, although it needs to be done in a good way that is appropriate to the level of understanding of preschool age children themselves. This really requires special attention in implementing or carrying out this discipleship for them because when they get the discipleship well, they will also accept and do what they get from the discipleship. Discipleship is a strategic step to be implemented even though you have to look at the context so that it can be implemented well and get maximum results because the goal of discipleship itself is how the people in it really get something and then they also experience life changes from the spiritual growth that occurs. in their life.

Abstract

Children with special needs often face various challenges in proper education without discrimination, such as accessibility, curriculum adjustments, and social stigma. Education based on non-discrimination aims to provide an equal and friendly learning environment for all children, including those with special needs. In its implementation, various educational obstacles such as limited resources for students with special needs, lack of training for teaching staff, and inadequate infrastructure often hinder this process. However, education for children with special needs without discrimination also offers great opportunities, including positive social development, improving academic skills according to individual needs, and contributing to the acceptance and appreciation of diversity in society. With the right support from the government, schools, families and communities, the challenges of non-discriminatory education for children with special needs can be overcome, allowing every child to reach their maximum potential.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between salinity and the extent and type of mangrove vegetation in ponds within the Mahakam Delta, East Kalimantan. Sampling was conducted in ponds with different salinity levels: 0–10 ppt, 11–20 ppt, and 21–30 ppt, with each salinity category represented by 10 pond plots. Data analysis was performed using linear regression. The results showed a strong relationship between salinity variation and pond area, with an r-value of 0.630. The extent of pond expansion is related to the original mangrove type present in the pond area. This information can be used as a basis for determining suitable aquatic species for cultivation based on salinity levels. In other words, the selection of aquatic species for cultivation can be adjusted according to the appropriate pond area. Further research is needed to determine whether other factors influence the relationship between salinity levels and pond area in the Mahakam Delta region.

Abstract

Church community development programs play a crucial role in building strong faith foundations and facilitating both personal and communal transformation. This study explores how such programs can serve as vehicles for individual spiritual growth and the strengthening of congregational identity and solidarity. Using a literature review and theological practical analysis, this research finds that church formation is not only intrapersonal but also intersocial, creating a dynamic and relevant faith ecosystem amidst modern challenges. The findings highlight the need to integrate doctrinal, relational, and service oriented dimensions in church formation to effectively respond to fragmented faith and social disengagement among congregants. This study contributes novelty by presenting a holistic formation model that combines theological, psychological, and social aspects within the context of local Indonesian churches.
