Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dengan pendekatan SPICES Continuing terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pembelajaran struktur lapisan bumi dan dinamikanya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperiment. Sampel penelitan adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Mojokerto yang terdiri atas kelas VII-2 sebagai kelas kontrol (n = 30) dan kelas VII-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen (n = 30). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan angket. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji anava satu jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dengan pendekatan SPICES Continuing berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang belajar materi struktur lapisan bumi dan dinamikanya (2) Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dengan pendekatan SPICES Continuing berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar antara siswa yang belajar materi struktur lapisan bumi dan dinamikanya. Kata Kunci : model kooperatif tipe NHT, pendekatan SPICES Continuing, keterampilan berpikir kritis, hasil belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian one group pretest-postest design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4Lamongan, semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Skor rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa pada pre test 41,67 sedangkan post test 79, 17 dengan N-Gain 0,79 berkategori tinggi. Siswa  merespon  positif  pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbingdengan persentase 95,79%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa.Kata Kunci : Inkuiri Terbimbing,Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan E-modul interaktif berbasis QR Code yang layak berdasarkan validitas, kepraktisan dan keefektifan untuk melatihkan literasi sains siswa pada materi Ekosistem. Siswa harus memiliki salah satu keterampilan pada pendidikan abad-21, salah satunya adalah keterampilan literasi sains. Literasi sains menjadikan siswa dapat menerapkan sains dalam kehidupan sehari-hari bukan hanya pemahaman sains dalam konsep saja, sehingga hal ini penting bagi mereka. Untuk mengembangkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa tersebut harus memperoleh media yang memfasilitasi keterampilan tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). Validitas E-modul interaktif berbasis QR Code diukur dari hasil validasi oleh validator, kepraktisan E-modul interaktif berbasis QR Code diukur dari hasil observasi keterlaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan E-modul, dan keefektifan E-modul interaktif berbasis QR Code diukur dari respon siswa dan hasil pre-test dan post-test yang dilakukan pada siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan E-modul. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi E-modul interaktif berbasis QR Code diperoleh persentase skor 97,75% termasuk kategori sangat valid. Hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan E-modul interaktif berbasis QR Code diperoleh skor 100% yang menunjukkan terlaksana dengan sangat baik. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada 15 siswa kelas X MIPA 3 MA. Darul Ulum Waru. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah menggunakan E-modul interaktif berbasis QR Code. Respon siswa memperoleh skor 82,49% termasuk kategori baik dan efektif. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut pengembangan E-modul interaktif berbasis QR Code dinyatakan layak berdasarkan validitas, kepraktisan dan keefektifan sebagai bahan ajar. Abstract

In improving science process skills, several learning approaches are carried out by teachers to achieve these objectives. One of the learning approaches used is the guided inquiry implementation. The objective of this research was to analyse effectiveness of the guided inquiry implementation to improve science process skills for elementary, junior high, and senior high school students. The research method used is study literature from various studies that have been published in journals, both nationally and internationally. Based on the analysis of 30 articles using the guided inquiry implementation, it is concluded that this learning approach is effective in improving science process skills, but teachers need to be aware for some strengths and weaknesses of this learning approach, so they need to be creative and innovative to develop the method used based on the characteristics of students in order to achieve the objective. Additionally, the use of the guided inquiry implementation can also improve long term memory, critical and creative thinking skills, motivation to learn science, and improve cognitive learning outcomes in science.

Abstract

Improving the education evaluation system is part of the independent learning policy aiming at encouraging the improvement of quality of learning and learning outcomes in Indonesia. The Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia plans the implementation of a national assessment in 2021. Changes to this national assessment evaluate students’ competence and map the education system in the form of inputs, processes, and results that will be achieved. Thus, assessment is no longer an individual assessment. In order to accelerate the improvement of the quality of Indonesian Education, it is necessary to reflect both from the relevant agencies and school agencies as the main actors in the assessment.  Based on this thought, it is necessary to carry out training for teachers in compiling AKM problems. The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of training in preparing minimum competency assessments for teachers, whether there is an increase in teacher literacy skills, and how teachers respond through teacher training. The research method implemented was qualitative descriptive analysis with three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the minimum competency assessment of teachers are assessed based on the results of the development of AKM MGMP teachers in Surabaya obtained 86% increased results. Training obtained by each MGMP teacher based on the results of AKM workshops were known to be 3 participants gained significant results, it was 38%-46%, while seven other participants ranging from 4%-8% experienced an increase. These results show the success of AKM training activities for teachers. The results of the trainee response provide good and excellent feedback.

Abstract

Technological developments have affected all aspects of life, including education. Advances in technology require people to be technologically literate. In addition, the occurrence of the COVID-19 pandemic also requires learning to be carried out online. This requires teachers to be able to develop teaching materials that can be accessed easily by students during the learning process. The learning process must also support the achievement of 21st-century skills, one of which is critical thinking. SSI-based learning can train critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Electronic Student Worksheet based on socio-scientific issues (SSI) on environmental pollution materials to train the critical thinking skills of class VII students. The implementation was carried out on three class VII study groups using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Effectiveness in terms of increasing critical thinking skills during the learning. The improvement in critical thinking skills of students in grades VII-1, VII-3, and VII-4 is significant in the moderate category, with an N-Gain score of 0.48, 0.52, and 0.51. The student's response is positive, with a mode value of 4.

Abstract

The use of technology in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic is needed due to provide facilities for students in learning activities. Scientific literacy skills is included in higher-order thinking skills by the demands of the implementation curriculum 2013. Data in the field showed that the majority of students in Indonesia have a low level of scientific literacy. The purpose of this research was to make an e-worksheet integrated with Virtual Laboratory to train Scientific Literacy Skills on Circulatory System Materials that feasible, practical, and effective. The research model was 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research trial was conducted on 18 students of SMAN 1 Pasuruan. The validity of the e-worksheet has been known from the results of the validation by the validators, the practicality of the e-worksheet has been known from the results of student response questionnaires, and the effectiveness has been known from the learning outcomes refers to scientific literacy indicators.. Data analysis was carried out with a quantitative description. The results of e-worksheet validation were 94.62% which is a very valid category. The results of the practicality were 95.1% in the very practical category, and the effectiveness results were 88% which is in the very effective category. Based on the results obtained, e-worksheet integrated with virtual laboratory to train scientific literacy on circulatory system was valid, practical, and effective. Abstract

Kurikulum bersifat dinamis karena selalu terjadi perubahan dan pengembangan. Kurikulum 2013 lebih mengutamakan edukasi berbasis teknologi yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengajarkan literasi sains. Berdasarkan data PISA menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik masih tergolong rendah termasuk pada mata pelajaran biologi sehingga dapat berpengaruh pada tingkat berpikir kritis peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan flipbook berbasis literasi sains untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi metabolisme sel yang layak berdasarkan validitas dan kepraktisan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data yang didapatkan menggunakan metode validasi, uji keterbacaan, dan respon peserta didik. Data validasi didapatkan melalui lembar validasi, data kepraktisan didapatkan dari hasil uji keterbacaan dan respon peserta didik. Data tersebut dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian di Jurusan Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Negeri Surabaya dan dilakukan uji coba terbatas pada 20 peserta didik MAN 1 Lamongan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan validitas flipbook berdasarkan penilaian dari pakar pendidikan biologi dan guru biologi memperoleh skor 3,89 dengan persentase 97,25% kategori sangat valid. Uji keterbacaan flipbook memperoleh rata-rata level 12 dan berkategori sulit yaitu dengan tingkat kelas 12. Kemudian, respon positif peserta didik memperoleh rata-rata 95,68% kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, flipbook berbasis literasi sains pada materi metabolisme sel yang dihasilkan dinyatakan valid dan praktis digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran serta mampu melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to identify the level of scientific reasoning skills of students. Method: The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The subjects of this study were 10th-grade students at 1st State SHS Menganti. The test given is five questions, each of which includes four indicators of scientific reasoning skills: theoretical reasoning, correlational reasoning, proportional reasoning, and probabilistic reasoning. The research method used is a preliminary study through reviews, determining research objectives, developing research instruments, validating instruments, collecting data, and analyzing and interpreting data. Results: The results of the research conducted show that the level of students' scientific reasoning skills in the theoretical reasoning pattern is quite good because they can interpret the existing theory with the data on the problem. Students' scientific reasoning skills in the correlational reasoning pattern still need to improve because only one student can answer questions at level 5. Students' scientific reasoning skills in the proportional reasoning pattern still need to improve because only one student's answer reaches the level 4 Ratio (R). The students' scientific reasoning skills in the probabilistic reasoning pattern still need to improve because only three are at level 3. Novelty: With this research, it is hoped to provide information about the importance of training students' scientific reasoning skills. Scientific reasoning skills are essential and related to science education (not only in scientific contexts but also in everyday life).

Abstract

Objective: E-modules are teaching materials integrated with technological advances using digital applications that are more attractive to students. One of the problems in learning science is the low ability of students' digital literacy. Efforts to increase digital literacy skills include using an e-module based on a flipped classroom type of blended learning. This study aims to describe the validity of teaching materials consisting of syllabi, lesson plans, student worksheets, blended learning-based flipped classroom-type e-modules on climate change material, digital literacy ability questionnaires, and knowledge test instruments. Method: The method used in this research is limited to the validity of teaching materials. The developed teaching materials were tested on students of class VII JHS. Data collection was carried out using the validation method, and data analysis was carried out quantitatively. Results: The results of the data analysis concluded that the syllabus was in the very valid category, the lesson plans were in the valid category, the e-module was in the valid category, the student worksheets were in the valid category, the digital literacy ability questionnaire sheet was in the valid category, and the knowledge test instrument was in the valid category. Novelty: Flipped classroom-based blended learning-based e-modules can be used as an alternative to electronic modules in learning to improve students' digital literacy skills. This e-module can be used for varied learning both online and offline so that students are expected to gain learning experiences that can later be used to solve problems encountered in real life.
