Abstract

ABSTRAK          Kepuasan pasien adalah hasil dari kesenjangan antara yang diharapkan dan karakteristik yang dirasakan oleh pasien dari pelayanan yang diterima. Sedangkan mutu pelayanan kesehatan adalah penerapan ilmu kesehatan dan teknologi dengan cara memaksimalkan manfaat terhadap pelayanan kesehatan tanpa menambahkan risiko. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pasien terhadap mutu pelayanan kesehatan di ruang rawat inap kelas III Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abdidin (RSUDZA) Banda Aceh ditinjau dari perspektif pasien meliputi dimensi; tangible, reliability responsiveness, assurance dan empathy. Jenis penelitian descriptive, desain Cross Sectional Study, populasi semua pasien yang di rawat di ruang rawat Inap Kelas III RSUDZA Banda Aceh.  Sampel berjumlah 93 orang diambil dengan metode Probability Sampling; Simple Random Sampling berkriteria. Proporsi jumlah sampel berpatokan pada BOR 6 bulan terakhir. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tanggal 4-15 Oktober 2010 dengan menggunakan The SERVQUAL Instrument. Analisa data dilakukan dengan menghitung skor rata-rata Dimention by Dimention Score Analysis, Dimention By Dimention Gap Score Analysis, dan Index of Patients Satisfaction. Hasil penelitian semua dimensi menghasilkan Gap Score Negative secara berurutan yaitu; dimensi empati -0,9, dimensi kehandalan -0,86, dimensi ketanggapan dan dimensi jaminan -0,7, dan dimensi tampilan fisik -0,6, dengan skor Index of Patients Satisfaction 40,756%.  Manajemen RSUDZA Banda Aceh perlu melakukan perbaikan untuk peningkatan mutu pelayanan kesehatan dalam upaya memberi kepuasan kepada pasien dengan fokus pada semua dimensi secara prioritas memperbaiki rasa empati, kehandalan, ketanggapan, jaminan, dan tampilan fisik.Kata kunci: kepuasan pasien, mutu pelayanan kesehatan ABSTRACT Patient satisfaction is a result of the gap between the expectation and characteristics perceived by the patient from the service they received. Whereas, the quality of healthcare is the application of medical science and technology by maximizing the benefits of health care without add the risk. Research objective is to determine the level of patient satisfaction for the quality of health care in the third level of wards of District General Hospital dr. Zainoel Abidin (RSUDZA) of Banda Aceh which viewed by patient perspective including dimension of tangible, reliability responsiveness, assurance and empathy. The design of this study is descriptive, Cross Sectional Study; the population is the entire patient which is treated in the third level of wards of RSUDZA of Banda Aceh. The samples are 93 people which is selected by using Probability Sampling method; Simple Random sampling with criteria. The proportion of the samples was determined by BOR from the last six month. Data collection was done on October 4th – 15th 2010 by using The SERVQUAL Instrument. Data Analysis was done by calculated the mean score of Dimension by Dimension Score Analysis, Dimension by Dimension Gap Score Analysis, and Index of Patients Satisfaction. The results of the study for all dimensions produced Gap Score Negative sequentially, are empathy dimension -0.9, compatible dimension -0.86, responsiveness dimension and assurance dimension 0.7, and physic appearance dimension -0.6, which index of Patients Satisfaction score was 40.756%. RSUDZA management of Banda Aceh needs to do the restoration for increasing the quality of health care in order to give the satisfaction for the patient by focusing with all dimensions as the main priority to correct empathy feeling, compatible, responsiveness, assurance, and physic appearance.Keywords: Patient satisfaction, the quality of health care

Abstract

Anemia merupakan masalah kehamilan yang paling banyak terjadi di negara berkembang, terutama anemia defisiensi zat besi yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor risiko diantaranya sosial ekonomi, budaya, nutrisi, serta penyakit parasit seperti malaria. Umumnya, faktor sosial ekonomi menjadi masalah yang dihadapi negara berkembang, ditambah dengan opini masyarakat yang menganggap anemia merupakan kondisi yang wajar pada kehamilan sehingga hal tersebut berkontribusi terhadap tingginya prevalensi anemia selama kehamilan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor sosial ekonomi dengan prevalensi anemia defisiensi zat besi pada ibu hamil di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Krueng Barona Jaya Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah correlation study dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan responden sebanyak 116 orang yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar kuesioner dan Hb meter. Analisa data menggunakan chi-square. Hasil pengumpulan data menunjukan prevalensi anemia defisiensi zat besi pada ibu hamil sebanyak 22.4%. Ditemukan adanya hubungan antara faktor tingkat pendidikan dengan anemia ( 0.05) namun tidak terdapat hubungan antara penghasilan keluarga dan pekerjaan dengan anemia ( 0.05). Diharapkan petugas kesehatan dapat meningkatkan program penyuluhan kesehatan serta meningkatkan pengetahuan melalui penyediaan media cetak berupa leaflet, booklet maupun media elektronik serta tindakan promotif dalam menghadapi masalah anemia defisiensi zat besi. Kata kunci: kehamilan, sosial ekonomi, anemia defisiensi zat besi. ABSTRACTAnemia is the most common pregnancy problem in developing countries, especially iron deficiency anemia caused by several risk factors including socio-economic, cultural, nutritional, and parasitic diseases such as malaria. Generally, socio-economic factors become a problem in developing countries due to public opinion that considers anemia as a reasonable condition in pregnancy so that it contributes to the high prevalence of anemia during pregnancy. This study aims to determine the relationship of socio-economic factors between the prevalence of iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women in the Krueng Barona Jaya Community Health Center Working Area, Aceh Besar District. The research method used is a correlation study with a cross sectional approach with 116 respondents selected by purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaire and Hb meters. Data analysis using chi-square. The results showed that the prevalence of iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women was 22.4%. It was found that there was an association between education level and anemia (0.05) but there was no correlation between family income and occupation with anemia ( 0.05). It is expected that health workers can improve health education programs and increase knowledge through the provision of print media in the form of leaflets, booklets and electronic media as well as promotive actions in dealing with the problem of iron deficiency anemia. Keywords: pregnancy, socioeconomic, iron deficiency anemia.

Abstract

Paradigma baru pengembangan pendidikan tinggi memberikan arahan untuk melaksanakan kurikulumberbasis kompetensi dengan pendekatan student centered learning (SCL). Program Studi Ilmu KeperawatanFakultas kedokteran Universitas Syiah Kuala (PSIK FK Unsyiah) adalah salah satu program studi yang sudahmengaplikasikan kurikulum berbasis kompetensi (KBK) sejak bulan Juli 2010. Pendekatan pembelajaranyang digunakan adalah problem based learning (PBL) dengan metode seven jump dan interactive skillstation (ISS). Sampai saat ini belum ada penelitian yang dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaanefektifitas kedua metode. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi perbandingan efektifitasmetode seven jump dan ISS pada Mahasiswa PSIK FK Unsyiah. Desain penelitian ini adalah studikomparatif. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 94 mahasiswa PSIK FK Unsyiah, terdiri dari 47 mahasiswa yangmenggunakan metode seven jump dan 47 mahasiswa pada metode ISS. Metode pengambilan sampel adalahtotal sampling. Data peningkatan pengetahuan didapatkan dengan membandingkan pengetahuan mahasiswapada saat pretes dengan postes pada kedua metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata peningkatanpengetahuan mahasiswa pada kelompok yang menggunakan seven jump sebanyak 17.02, sementara padakelompok yang menggunakan metode ISS sebanyak 16.51. Hasil analisis berikutnya menunjukkan tidak adaperbedaan yang signifikan efektifitas metode seven jump dan ISS (p value=0,845; α=0,05). Kesimpulanpenelitian ini adalah tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan efektifitas metode seven jump dan ISS (pvalue=0,845; α=0,05). Rekomendasi penelitian ini kepada manajemen PSIK FK Unsyiah, agar dapatmempertahankan metode seven jump dan ISS serta mengembangkan metode- metode pembelajaran lain yangdapat meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiswa.Kata kunci: seven jumps, ISS, PSIK FK Unsyiah

Abstract

ABSTRAKPatient Safety didefinisikan sebagai “freedom from accidental injury” yang berfokus pada pencegahan hasilpelayanan kesehatan yang merugikan pasien atau yang tidak diinginkan. Khusus di negara berkembang dannegara transisi/konflik, ada kemungkinan bahwa jutaan pasien seluruh dunia menderita cacat, cedera ataumeninggal setiap tahun karena pelayanan kesehatan yang tidak aman. Tujuan dari penulisan makalah iniadalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang konsep Patient Safety secara lebih baik dan memahamiupaya yang dapat dilakukan tenaga kesehatan khususnya perawat dalam menurunkan insiden yang tidakperlu. Makalah ini di tulis dengan pendekatan artikel non penelitian dalam bentuk studi kepustakaan.Kata kunci: patient safety.ABSTRACTPatient Safety is defined as “freedom from accidental injury” that focuses on the prevention of the patientdamaged or unwanted health service results. Abstract

Dokumentasi keperawatan merupakan kewajiban perawat dalam pelaksanaan proses keperawatan. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku perawat dalam melakukan pendokumentasian proses keperawatan adalah kemampuan berpikir kritis perawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis perawat dalam pelaksanaan dokumentasi keperawatan di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Pemerintah Aceh. Penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional study. Besar sampel 107 perawat, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner California Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory (CCTDI) dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif analitik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis perawat secara umum dalam kategori baik (72.0%) yang meliputi tujuh elemen yaitu keterbukaan pikiran pada katagori baik (92,5%), mencari kebenaran pada kategori baik (61,7%), analisis pada kategori baik (81,3%), sistematis pada kategori baik (78,5%), percaya diri pada kategori sedang (53,3%), keingintahuan pada kategori baik (76,6%), dan kematangan pada kategori sedang (54,2%).  Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis perawat adalah proses yang dikembangkan dalam jangka panjang dan harus dipraktikkan, diperkuat, dan dikembangkan dari waktu ke waktu.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to find out the influences of individual, organizational and psychological factors on employees. This research is a non-experimental study with a descriptive and analytic presentation that is to get a picture of the influence of individual factors, organizational factors, and psychological factors on the performance of Aceh Mental Hospital employees. The result shows that The performance of employees in Aceh Mental Hospital is in the bad category (60.2%). Individual characteristics that are not significant / not statistically related to the performance of Aceh Mental Hospital employees are age, education level. And years of service. The significant organizational characteristics statistically related to the performance of Aceh Mental Hospital employees are incentives, supervision, and work facilities. The significant psychological characteristic related statistically to the performance of Aceh Mental Hospital employees is motivation. While that which is not significantly related to employee performance is perception. The result of multivariate logistic regression analysis, Motivation variable is the variable that is statistically the most significantly related to the performance of Aceh Mental Hospital employees.

Abstract

Background:. The performance of the Aceh Provincial Health Office is closely related to the attitudes of its employees towards their own work, work situation, cooperation between leaders and fellow employees. Actualized performance by employees is also supported by several factors Objective: analyzing factors related to the performance of Aceh Provincial Health Office employees in 2019 Research Method: This type of research is observational using a cross sectional design. Statistical analysis using multiple regression Results: there is a impact of compensation (X1), leadership style (X2) work discipline (X3) and application of sanctions (X4) with the performance of the Aceh Provincial Health Office Staff and Conclusion: factors that influence performance are compensation, leadership style work discipline and the imposition of sanctions.

Abstract

Background: Anemia during pregnancy is a health problem that often occurs in developing countries. Local wisdom-based counseling is considered a new approach in preventing iron deficiency anemia among pregnant women by integrating cultural beliefs into antenatal counseling. Objective: The study aims to measure the effectiveness of local wisdom-based counseling model among pregnant women to prevent iron deficiency anemia. Methods: This paper outlines the protocol of a randomized controlled trial method. Two intervention programs will be developed, the local wisdom-based program and health-based counseling intervention program, and will be tested among 150 pregnant women from nine public health centers in one district of Aceh Province. Sample selection will be completed through a simple random selection process. The effectiveness of the interventions will be assessed using a self-report questionnaire and a hemoglobin test. Data will be analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Discussion: The expected outcome in this study is a significant difference in hemoglobin levels between both intervention groups. It is also expected that there will be an increase in knowledge, attitude, and behavior in the group who will receive local wisdom-based counseling intervention than the other group who will receive health-based counseling intervention. A local wisdom-based counseling approach is expected to give an effective model to reduce the prevalence of iron deficiency anemia among pregnant women. Abstract

Introduction: Indonesia has the highest risk and vulnerability to both natural and non-natural disasters in the world. Aceh Province located on the confluence of two earth fault plates has been discovered to be exposed to a higher risk leading to significant physical, emotional, and psychological problems. Therefore, there is a need for immediate disaster response efforts to reduce the impacts, and nurses are the largest care providers with adequate competencies to ensure effectiveness. Objective: The study aims to develop a study protocol to measure the effectiveness of the intervention program to improve nurses’ competencies in disaster response. Methods: A sequential exploratory mixed-method study design will be used. A qualitative phase is to explore nurses’ competencies in disaster response according to nurses, disaster survivors, hospitalized patients, members of the Ulama Consultative Assembly of Aceh, and hospital policymakers using FGDs and in-depth interviews. The result of this phase is to develop intervention and instruments. Data are analyzed using a content analysis. A quantitative phase is to examine the effectiveness of the initiated intervention programs on nurses’ competencies in disaster response with a randomized controlled trial study design. There will be three groups in this phase, namely Evidence-Based Intervention (EBI) group, Islamic-Based Intervention (IBI) group, and Control Group (CG). The nurses’ competencies related knowledge, skill, and attitude will be measured using valid and reliable instruments. Data will be analyzed using independent t-test, and a repeated measure one way ANOVA. Discussion: The findings are expected to be the basis for the development of appropriate tools and better intervention in nursing practice and education in relation to evidence and Islamic-based disaster curriculum as well as a guide for future research.
