Abstract

Controlling land degradation in conservation areas requires improvement, especially given the spatial impacts of human-environment interactions within the Meru Betiri National Park Biosphere Reserve, Indonesia. Drawing upon geosystem theory, this study investigated land change issues stemming from human-environment interactions within Meru Betiri National Park's conservation area. This study adopted a mixed-methods design that incorporated field observations, surveys, and in-depth interviews. Quantitative data were obtained from observations of the degradation landscape and a survey of forest farmers, while qualitative data were collected through interviews with key observer participants. Data analysis was triangulated through a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) involving forest farmers and policymakers. The findings indicate that forest farmer conservation practices influence knowledge transformation, environmental education, and funding mechanisms. These elements are integral to a sustainable "translation approach" to restore the conservation area's ecological landscape. The impact of ecosystem restoration leads to significant spatial and contextual changes within the biosphere reserve's geosystem landscape. This study highlights the implications of the interplay among farmer thinking patterns, funding, and policies for enhancing welfare through a sustainable critical land conservation model. Applying this "translation approach" offers valuable spatial and temporal conservation insights in protected areas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership of school principals on students’ digital literacy through the school digital ecosystem and teacher innovation as mediating variables. The research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design and was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The sample consisted of teachers at primary and secondary education levels who have implemented technology-based learning. The results show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on the school digital ecosystem. Furthermore, the digital ecosystem significantly influences teacher innovation, and teacher innovation has a significant effect on students’ digital literacy. The findings also reveal that transformational leadership indirectly affects students’ digital literacy through the school digital ecosystem and teacher innovation. These results indicate that improving students’ digital literacy is not solely determined by technological factors but also by school leadership and pedagogical innovation. Therefore, a synergy between transformational leadership, strengthening of the digital ecosystem, and enhancement of teacher innovation is essential to create adaptive learning in the digital era.

Abstract

Abstract

The limitations of conventional media visualization in presenting complex botanical structures realistically underlie this research activity. These operational issues trigger low attention and cognitive difficulties for students in understanding abstract biological concepts. The main focus of this scientific study is to produce and test the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of 3D augmented reality-based flashcard media on plant body parts material in fourth-grade science lessons. The research and development steps are operated through the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation at SD Negeri 78 OKU. The primary data collection procedure is collected through expert assessment sheets, response questionnaires, and learning outcome test instruments. Quantitative data empirically reveals that the product draft is in the very feasible category with an expert validity score of 92 percent. The results of the practicality test recorded a one-to-one test percentage of 89 percent in class IV.A and 86 percent in class IV.B, while the small group test achieved 96 percent for class IV.A and 91 percent for class IV.B. An evaluation of effectiveness through student testing yielded an average pass rate of 93 percent. The main conclusion confirms that the digitalization of instructional cards has proven valid, practical, and reliable as an essential teaching aid to boost students' academic resilience. Evaluasi keefektifan melalui tes siswa memperoleh rerata kelulusan sebesar 93 persen.

Abstract

Unmet need in South Sumatra in 2019 was 11.13% and in 2021 the number of unmet need was 15.23%, this figure had increased quite significantly and also still did not fulfill the work agreement of the BKKBN representative for South Sumatra Province which targeted 8.07% That is, this achievement, when referring to BKKBN's target of reducing unmet need for family planning, can be said to have not decreased significantly. The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics and distribution of Unmet Need in South Sumatra on a geospatial basis. The method in this study uses a quantitative descriptive approach by utilizing secondary data from the 2017 IDHS as well as data on Indonesian families for 2021 conducted by the BKKBN. The treatment of unmet need data is to determine the characteristics and distribution of unmet need data in South Sumatra Province by processing data, analyzing data, and producing geographically referenced outputs. Characteristics of unmet need occur mostly in PUS aged over 35 years with more than two children, the highest education level is at the elementary school level of 11.8% and living in urban areas. The results obtained in the field are that there are many unmet needs due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic where many PUS are afraid to access contraceptives at health facilities, complete large-scale social activities, and terminate employment.
