Abstract

Modul ajar adalah salah satu perangkat pembelajaran yang disusun secara sistematis dan lengkap yang berfungsi untuk membantu guru dalam proses pembelajaran biologi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah modul ajar biologi yang digunakan guru sudah menampakkan aspek Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) di kelas X SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengetahui adanya indikator HOTS yang terdapat pada modul ajar yang digunakan guru. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan diuji keabsahan data menggunakan metode triangulasi. Data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran biologi kelas X, dan data sekunder diperoleh dari catatan atau dokumentasi modul ajar, bahan Pustaka, literatur, buku, jurnal dan sebagainya. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh terdapat 5 indikator HOTS yang berhasil analisis pada dokumen modul ajar yakni pada materi keanekaragaman hayati dan ekosistem adalah berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif, pemecahan masalah, berpikir logis, dan pengambilan keputusan.

Abstract

The aims of this study to describe the students biodiversity literacy skills in natural science lectures. The data research from the observation and the test scores. Biodiversity literacy skills indicators were established. Analysis of data using qualitative descriptive methods. The results showed the biodiversity literacy skills are within medium, high and very high criteria. Based on indicators of biodiversity literacy skills, it is in the criteria of being able to define biodiversity and its use, being able to distinguish biodiversity at the gene, species, ecosystem level, and being able to construct solutions to biodiversity problems. This biodiversity literacy skill can encourage the character of concern for biodiversity decline so that students are able to come up with solutions to existing biodiversity problems.Keywords: biodiversity literacy skills, science lectures, grounded theory approach.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v24i1.pp50-58

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in student learning activities and outcomes in environmental change materials using interactive learning and discovery learning models. The research method used was a quasi-experimental research with a pretest posttest non-equivalent control group design. Retrieval of data using cluster random sampling method. The total sample of 64 students came from class X IPA 3 which applied the interactive learning model and class X IPA 4 which applied the discovery learning model. The results showed that there were differences in student learning activities in the two classes. Information was obtained in the interactive learning class that the learning activity criteria were very good in all aspects observed, while in the discovery learning class there was one aspect that had very good criteria and five other aspects had good criteria. Based on the results of the analysis N-Gain shows that there are differences in student learning outcomes for the two classes observed. In the interactive learning class the N-Gain value reaches 0.70 (high category) in the discovery learning class reaches 0.46 (medium category).Keywords: interactive learning, discovery learning, learning activities, and learning outcomes.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v24i1.pp39-49

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to obtain an interactive e-module learning media oriented to the problem-solving skills of biodiversity materials that are valid, practical, and effective. This type of research is 4D model development research (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The results found that the validity test of the assessment of material expert validators, media experts, and teachers was sequentially scored (x) 95.10%, 85.83%, and 94.17% (very good). The practicality test for the implementation of learning in small groups and large group trials was scored (x) 94.12%, student activity was sequentially scored 85% and 87.62%, and student responses were sequentially scored 85% and 87.9% (all of these results belonged to the category of " very practical"). The effectiveness test of the N-Gain value in small group trials (0.64 "quite effective') and large groups (0.70 "effective"). Abstract

The research aims to develop student books based on the potential of coastal areas to improve students' pro-environmental character. Research and development from Sugiyono was used to develop student book. as many as 10 students participated in the product trial. Two experts and one practitioner validated using a validation sheet. Measurement of pro-environmental character using pro-environmental character test. Analysis of pro-environmental characters using n-gain. The results showed that the student's book met the valid criteria (88.77%), increased the pro-environmental character of students at the medium - high level (0.33 - 0.74), and received a very good response (88% - 100%) from the students. This research concludes that the student's book based on coastal natural resources meets the valid criteria, improves the character of the environmental profile and gets a very good response. Further research to test the effectiveness needs to be done through use trials.

Abstract

Biology learning on excretory system materials often experiences obstacles due to the abstract nature of the material and the lack of use of interactive learning media. As a result, students tend to be passive and learning outcomes are low. This condition shows the need for digital-based learning media innovations that are able to present visualization and interactivity in the learning process. This study aims to determine the level of validity of Google Sites-based learning media on human excretion system materials. The type of research used is research and development with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. However, this study is limited to the limited stage of trials. The research instrument is in the form of validation sheets assessed by material experts and media experts. The results of the study showed that the average validation score by material experts was 94.3% and by media experts was 92.5%, both of which were included in the very valid category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Google Sites-based learning media developed is suitable for use as a biology learning medium. This media is effective in helping students understand the concept of the excretory system in a more interesting, contextual, and interactive way.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada materi sistem koordinasi Di SMA Negeri 1 Tibawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research & Developmen (R&D). Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, tahapan atau prosedur pada penelitian meliputi lima tahap, yaitu analysis (analisis), design (desain), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Metode dan model ini dipilih karena bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil validitas tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik ahli materi berada di angka 3.13 masuk diketgori valid, validitas ahli soal berada di angka 3,82 masuk dikategori sangat valid, dan validitas ahli tes berada di angka 3,38 masuk dikategori sangat valid. Nilai rata-rata hasil analisis tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik berada diangka 3,83 masuk dikategori sangat valid. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif menggunakan model ADDIE dapat meningkatkan validitas dan efektivitas pengukuran kemampuan kreativitas peserta didik.

Abstract

The Damahu waxy corn (Zea mays L. var. Damahu) is a local variety traditionally cultivated by the Gorontalo community and possesses significant potential for the development of functional food products. This study aimed to determine the nutritional composition of the Damahu waxy corn variety originating from Bontula Village, Asparaga District, Gorontalo Regency, through proximate analysis. The corn samples were dried, milled, and analyzed using standard analytical procedures to quantify moisture, ash, fat, protein, and carbohydrate contents. The results indicated that Damahu waxy corn flour contained 83.32% carbohydrates, 5.93% protein, 1.67% fat, 8.84% moisture, and 0.24% ash. This composition characterizes the Damahu variety as a good energy source. However, its protein content does not yet meet the minimum requirement set by the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for corn-based processed products. The nutritional profile highlights the potential of Damahu waxy corn for the development of nutritious and competitive local food products. This study provides an initial contribution to the documentation of Gorontalo’s indigenous corn varieties and offers a scientific foundation for the utilization of local germplasm to strengthen regional food security.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan E-modul berbasis Etno-STEM serta mendeskripsikan tingkat validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. Secara khusus, penelitian ini mengkaji: (1) validitas E-modul berbasis Etno-STEM, (2) kepraktisan penggunaan E-modul dalam proses pembelajaran, dan (3) efektivitas E-modul dalam meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik. Penelitian dilaksanakan di dua satuan pendidikan di Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Selatan, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, yaitu SMP Negeri Molibagu dan MTs Negeri 1 Bolaang Mongondow Selatan, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 114 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE,  Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar validasi ahli, angket respon peserta didik, serta observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran untuk menilai kualitas produk yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-modul berbasis Etno-STEM memiliki tingkat kevalidan sangat valid, kepraktisan sangat praktis, dan keefektifan efektif. Respon siswa juga menunjukkan hasil positif karena materi yang disajikan dilengkapi dengan video pembelajaran, latihan soal, dan evaluasi yang mudah diakses melalui smartphone. Dengan demikian, E-modul IPA berbasis Etno-STEM dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif dan interaktif yang mampu meningkatkan literasi sains dan mendukung kemandirian belajar peserta didik.Kata kunci: E-modul Etno-STEM, Kurikulum Merdeka, Literasi Sains.

Abstract

Gastropoda merupakan biota perairan yang hidup dalam ekosistem mangrove yang mempunyai peran ekologis dalam rantai makanan pada ekosistem mangrove dan menjadi bioindikator lingkungan karena hidupnya yang relatif tetap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas Gastropoda di kawasan mangrove Desa Persatuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, metode pengambilan data menggunakan metode survey dan penentuan stasiun pengamatan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 3 stasiun yakni stasiun 1 tipe substrat pasir berlumpur, stasiun 2 tipe substrat berlumpur dan stasiun 3 kawasan tambak. Berdasarkan data Gastropoda yang di peroleh pada kawasan mangrove Desa Persatuan terdapat 15 spesies Gastropoda yang terdiri dari 9 family dan 12 genus dengan total individu 7.090. Keanekaragaman Gastropoda pada stasiun 1 diperoleh nilai H’ = 2.20 dengan indeks keseragaman E = 0.86, stasiun 2 dengan niali H’= 1.66 dengan indeks keseragaman E = 0.80, dan stasiun 3 dengan nilai H’ = 0.70 dan indeks keseragaman E = 0.64. Dominansi pada stasiun 1 dan stasiun 2 memiliki kategori yang rendah, sedangkan stasiun 3 memiliki kategori tinggi. Tingginya nilai indeks dominansi di stasiun 3 menandakan adanya spesies yang mendominansi, yaitu spesies Telespocium telespocium. Spesies Telespocium telespocium memiliki kemelimpahan tertinggi di setiap stasiun dengan nilai indeks kemelimpahan 0.38%. Kemudian diikuti oleh spesies Telescopium mauritsi dengan nilai 0.19%. Pola penyebaran Gastropoda di setiap stasiun memiliki nilai > 0 yang menandakan penyebaran mengelompok.
