Abstract

This study discusses the communication strategy carried out by BUMDes Sarwada Amertha in managing Taro Tourism Village towards an independent tourism village. The communication strategy used is to use the POAC management communication strategy method, the purpose of this study is to find out how the communication strategy knows the audience, determines goals, compiles messages and establishes methods and media. Data obtained through observation and in-depth interviews. The authors took three informants to supplement the research data. The conclusion of this study are (1) Planning, BUMDes Sarwada Amertha plans to maximize the visits of tourists who come to Taro Tourism Village every month and intensify promotions both conventionally and through online media. (2) Organizing, in managing existing business units, BUMDes Sarwada Amerhta has a management organizational structure. (3) Actuating, BUMDes manager Sarwada Amertha implements the work plan well in order to achieve the existing vision and mission. (4) Controlling, BUMDes Sarwada Amertha as a legal umbrella that accommodates all tourist attractions in Taro Tourism Village. it can be concluded that the communication strategy carried out by BUMDes Sarwada Amertha in the management of Taro Tourism Village as an independent tourism village by carrying out a communication strategy using POAC management principles.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the role of job satisfaction in mediating the effect of job stress on turnover intention. Turnover intention is an employee's intention or desire to move from one workplace to another but is not yet at the reality stage. This study was conducted at BPR Bali Dananiaga. This study used 52 samples using the saturation sampling method. The data collection methods used were interviews and questionnaires. The data collection was then analyzed using descriptive analysis, path analysis techniques, classical assumption test and the sobel test. The study results show that job stress has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Job stress has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. Job satisfaction mediates the effect of job stress on turnover intention. It is hoped that the implications of this research can be a consideration for companies to reduce turnover intention by considering job stress and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Kepuasan kerja merupakan indikator penting dalam menilai keberhasilan suatu organisasi dalam mengelola sumber daya manusianya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh work family conflict terhadap kepuasan kerja, dengan work engagement sebagai variabel mediasi pada pegawai Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) perempuan di Sekretariat Daerah Pusat Pemerintahan Kabupaten Badung. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 161 orang pegawai yang memenuhi kriteria tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini, metode penentuan sampel yang digunakan adalah nonprobability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling, yakni pemilihan responden berdasarkan pertimbangan tertentu yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian. Data yang digunakan meliputi data kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang bersumber dari data primer maupun data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei menggunakan kuesioner serta wawancara terstruktur untuk memperkuat informasi yang diperoleh dari responden. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4.1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work family conflict berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan work engagement. Selain itu, work engagement berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan terbukti mampu memediasi secara parsial komplementer pengaruh work family conflict terhadap kepuasan kerja. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan keterlibatan kerja sebagai strategi menghadapi konflik peran ganda.   Job satisfaction is a crucial indicator for assessing an organization’s success in managing its human resources. This study aims to examine the effect of work family conflict on job satisfaction, with work engagement acting as a mediating variable among female civil servants at the Regional Secretariat of the Badung Regency Government Center. The research sample consisted of 161 employees who met the specified criteria. A non-probability sampling method was employed, specifically purposive sampling, in which respondents were selected based on considerations relevant to the research objectives. The study utilized both quantitative and qualitative data, obtained from primary and secondary sources. Data collection was carried out through surveys using structured questionnaires and interviews to strengthen the insights gathered from respondents. The data were then analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling approach based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), with the support of SmartPLS 4.1 software. The results reveal that work family conflict has a significant negative effect on both job satisfaction and work engagement. Furthermore, work engagement has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction and is shown to partially and complementarily mediate the relationship between work family conflict and job satisfaction.

Abstract

The rapid digitalisation of the labour market has increased the demand for graduates who possess not only technical skills but also the confidence to manage career-related challenges. However, empirical evidence explaining how digital competence contributes to students’ career self-efficacy remains limited. This study aims to examine the effect of digital competence on career self-efficacy among undergraduate students. A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed, involving undergraduate management students selected through a multistage sampling technique. Data were collected using structured questionnaires measured on a Likert scale and analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that digital competence has a positive and statistically significant effect on career self-efficacy. Students with higher levels of digital competence demonstrate greater confidence in performing career-related tasks, particularly those involving digital platforms such as online job search and professional communication. These findings suggest that digital competence not only enhances technical capability but also strengthens students’ confidence in navigating career development processes. This study concludes that improving digital competence is essential for enhancing students’ readiness and confidence in entering the digital labour market.

Abstract

The study aims to formulate an effective development strategy for Aan Village by identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Aan tourism Village with a diversity of attractions should be well developed using an appropriate strategy. The study used a qualitative approach where the researcher became the research instrument. Data collection techniques used were observations, interviews, documentation, and triangulation techniques to check the credibility of the data. It was found that Aan Village has several potential tourist attractions such as landscapes, waterfall, river, culture, art, and history. The study found that growth-oriented strategies are suitable to be implemented in Aan tourism village which includes backward integration, forward integration, horizontal integration, market penetration, market development, and product development. Implementing those grand strategies will help Aan village meet the needs of the tourists who, based on the recent trend, demand nature, eco, wellness, and adventure concepts.
