Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini aadalah untuk mengembangkan modul elektronik dengan menggunakan software Kivosft Flipbook Maker pada materi fluida statis dan fluida dinamis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model yang telah di lakukan oleh Marshall, J.C Julie, S & Robert dan Rusdi. Ada lima tahapan pengembangan yaitu analisis masalah dan kebutuhan. analisis masalah dan kebutuhan, Tinjauan literature, desain produk, validitas, dan uji coba praktisi. Penelitian ini hanya sebatas tahap validitas. Pada penelitian ini juga menggunakan pendekatan STEM sains (sicence), teknologi (technology), rekayasa (engineering), and matematika (mathemmatics). Modul elektronik yang telah dikembangakan memiliki format .exe yang dapat dijalankan pada PC/lapatop. Modul elektronik ini telah divalidasi dan dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata skor ahli materi sebesar 3,9 tergolong dalam kategori sangat baik. Dan rata-rata skor ahli media sebesar 3,4 tergolong dalam kategori yang sangat baik. Keungggulan pengembangan modul elektronik menggunakan software Kivosft Flipbook Maker yaitu bahasanya mudah dimengerti, didalamnya terdapat video yang bisa membuat siswa belajar secara mandiri dan bisa diakses secara online, serta tampilan gambar yang menarik. Adapun kekurangannya yaitu belum bisa sepenuhnya diakses dengan smartphone dan harus menggunakan bantuan flash player versi terbaru dari aplikasi tersebut untuk membukanya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji literatur mengenai model problem based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal terkait kemudian dibaca dan dikaji. Setelah data terkumpul, dilakukan pengujian dan perbandingan data yang ditemukan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan pengutipan pendapat-pendapat yang sesuai. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa model problem based learning merupakan model yang sangat baik digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Hal tersebut terlihat dari banyaknya teori belajar yang mendukung model problem based learning dan berhasil dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.

Abstract

Teachers reveal that they have not implemented STEM-based learning because teachers do not have sufficient insights and they do not have the skills to develop STEM-based learning. Therefore, the effort made to over come these problems are providing training on science learning using a STEM approach to improve the competence of science teachers in conducting STEM-based learning in order to improve the quality of learning in the classroom. The training participants are science teachers at SMPN 1 Sungai Penuh City and the place of service at SMPN 1 Sungai Penuh, Kerinci. Through this activity, it is hoped that teachers can get to know the current developments of the 21st century and of course science teacher at SMP Negeri 1 Kota Sungai Penuh can apply a STEM approach in science learning. The impact is for classroom learning to be more active and teachers are able to develop very effective learning tools in accordance with the demands of basic competencies for 21st century skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui implementasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMAN 5 Kota Bima tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dirancang dalam dua siklus, tiap siklus terduri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, evaluasi   serta refleksi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data pada siklus I Keterampilan Proses Sains sebesar 56,52%, nilai ini belum memenuhi indikator kerja yang telah ditentukan, setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus II diperoleh nilai Keterampilan Proses Sains sebesar 95,65%. Hasil ini telah mencapai indikator kerja yang telah ditentukan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan Keterampilan Proses Sains SMAN 5 Kota Bima tahun pelajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

Digital electronics practicum is one of the subjects studied in the Physics Education Study Program at the University of Jambi. Based on the initial needs questionnaire, it was found that 88% of students stated the logic gate material, including material that was difficult to learn. The purpose of this research is to develop a practicum module on logic gates material. This research is development research that uses the ADDIE development model and is carried out up to the evaluation stage. The subjects of this study were 35 students of Physics Education FKIP Jambi University class of 2017. The instruments used were media and material validation questionnaires as well as student perception questionnaires. The Analyze phase was used to obtain data, namely that there was no review of the material in the practicum guide previously used and work procedures that were difficult to understand. Next is the Design stage, the printed module design is made using the Microsoft Office Word 2010 program. The Develop stage, the development of direct instruction-based digital electronics modules on logic gates material. The results of the validation of the practicum presentation were 87% in the very good category and the results of the material validation were 62% in the good category. As for the results of student perceptions of the product being developed is 89% with a very good category. The advantage of the product being developed is that the experimental procedures are arranged systematically according to the Direct Instruction syntax. Based on these results it can be concluded that the digital electronics practicum module on logic gate material is suitable for use as a learning medium that can be used in the implementation of learning digital electronics practicum courses.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan workshop Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Robotik di SMPN 32 Muaro Jambi dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil studi awal yang menunjukkan kesulitan para Guru dalam menyiapkan dan memberikan tugas proyek kepada Siswa. Kegiatan workshop ini dilakukan melalui kolaborasi Dosen Universitas Jambi, Universitas Dinamika Bangsa dan UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman Guru tentang kegiatan proyek terintegrasi STEM Robotik dan motivasi belajar Siswa. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode workshop. Subjek pengabdian terdiri dari 12 Guru dan 31 Siswa kelas VII. Instrumen pengabdian berupa soal tes esai untuk mengetahui pemahaman Guru tentang pembelajaran berbasis proyek terintegrasi STEM robotic dan lembar kuesioner untuk mendapatkan data motivasi belajar Siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan tes dan survei. Analisis data peningkatan pemahaman Guru dilakukan dengan uji N-Gain dan paired t-test, sedangkan motivasi belajar Siswa dikodekan berdasarkan jawaban Siswa pada setiap item dalam kuesioner. Hasil workshop menunjukkan data N-Gain sebesar 0,4 dan paired t test sebesar 0,00, yang artinya kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman Guru dalam memahami konsep dan implementasi pembelajaran proyek yang terintegrasi STEM Robotik. Selain itu, data motivasi belajar Siswa menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan wokshop ini menjadikan Siswa termotivasi untuk lebih terlibat aktif dalam belajar.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk merancang automatic hand wash berbasis Arduino Uno dengan termo scanner untuk mendukung penerapan protokol kesehatan Covid-19. Automatic hand wash dengan termo scanner dirancang menggunakan sensor IR-E18-D80MK untuk mendeteksi objek yang mendekati kran dan sensor infrared IR MLX90614 untuk pendeteksi suhu tubuh. Sistem kontrol alat ini menggunakan Arduino Uno. Air dan sabun akan mengalir saat sensor IR-E18-D80MK mendeteksi objek. Suhu yang terdeteksi sensor infrared MLX90614 akan di tampilkan pada Liquid Cristall Display (LCD). Hasil pengujian kran otomatis dapat bekerja saat objek berada pada jarak < 15 cm dari sensor IR-E18-D80MK sehingga air/sabun mengalir. Selelah menggunakan sabun, kran air untuk bilas akan mengalir setelah 20 dt setelah sensor mendeteksi objek. Hasil pengujian termo scanner untuk mengukur suhu tubuh dapat bekerja dengan baik. Alat dapat mengukur suhu tubuh pada rentang 32-40 oC. Sistem peringatan dapat bekerja baik saat sensor mendeteksi suhu di atas suhu normal (>37,5 oC) sehingga buzzer menyala selama 5 dt. Hasil kalibrasi alat menunjukkan kesalahan relatif sebesar 7,5% dengan akurasi tinggi yaitu 92,5%.

Abstract

The water usage recording system for PDAM customers still uses a manual data collection system by officers. The problem is that officers do not carry out routine records but only estimate water usage based on previous month's usage. This results in swelling when recording after several months of use. The aim of this research is to 1) design an IoT-based PDAM water use monitoring and control system tool and 2) analyze the performance of the PDAM water use monitoring and control tool. An IoT-based PDAM water usage monitoring and control tool equipped with a YF-S201 water flow sensor to read how much water is flowing. This tool is also equipped with a solenoid valve which functions as a tap to turn the water on and off and NTP (network time protocol) which is used as a timer. The testing is carried out to determine the overall performance of the tool such as waterflow sensor performance, web application performance and communication between the controller and the web application. The test results of the YF-S201 water flow sensor can read water flow with an average error of 0.78%. This sensor can work well in reading water flow because the greater the water flow that passes through it, the smaller the error value will be. The selenoid valve can also run smoothly when the website gives a command to turn the valve on or off. The website can display the values ​​produced by the water flow sensor precisely and accurately.

Abstract

Enhancing the quality of learning is worthy by the availability of PLTS trainers. This work intends to build and create PLTS trainers as learning material for renewable energy generation. The preparation of this study was divided into two stages: first, a PLTS media trainer kit and a practical training module that functioned as a handbook for using the media trainer were created. The ADDIE method is used as the development model for the practical guiding module and media trainer. Based on the data analysis findings show that the 10Wp solar module can provide a maximum energy of 5.11Wp for 11 hours when charging a 7.5Ah battery. With a 63 Watt total load, the PLTS trainer's Ah battery can run for 37 minutes. With an average percentage of 93% and 92%, respectively, the material expert validator and media expert have deemed the media trainer and practicum instruction module feasible. This places them in the very good category

Abstract

The learning setting refers to the combined social, psychological, and pedagogical circumstances which have the potential to impact students' learning, accomplishments, and attitudes. This research aims to analyze the STEM-Project Based Learning environment in the Basic Electronics course. The research method used is quantitative with a survey design. The research subjects are 65 students enrolled in the Basic Electronics course in the Physics Education program at the University of Jambi. Data collection is conducted through surveys. The survey instrument uses the WIHIC instrument. The research findings indicate that out of the 7 WIHIC indicators, namely student cohesiveness, teacher support, involvement, order and organization, task orientation, cooperation, and equity, data reveals that there are still issues in the implementation of STEM-Project Based Learning, particularly in the areas of teacher support and involvement. As an illustration, data indicates that 42.9% of students perceive that the teacher occasionally succeeds in engaging their attention during STEM-Project Based Learning. On the other hand, positive aspects are frequently observed in the equity indicator. This is evident in STEM-Project Based Learning, where 50% of the students feel they are given equal opportunities to answer questions during discussions.
