Abstract

According to UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), Indonesian people’s reading literacy interest has a literacy percentage of 0.001%, which means that out of 1.000 people, only one person likes to read. The digital reading movement attracts people’s reading interest, especially with a digital library. Lahat District Library Service wants to re-establish a digital library that has been removed. By paying attention to usability and user experience, a digital library prototype design is carried out to develop the application to get user experience results with good success and satisfaction. The method used is Design Thinking, which aims to design usable and valuable solutions by focusing on user needs. The results of the usability testing analysis of the digital library prototype created using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) get “Excellent” in six aspect categories: attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty.

Abstract

Abstract The Infant Mortality and Toddler Mortality rates are still relatively high in Indonesia. Data from the South Sumatra Health Office shows a relatively high number of infant and toddler mortality cases in Banyuasin and Musi Banyuasin Regency, with about 68 and 51 cases in 2017. Through the Program Kerja Sama (PKS) of the family health directorate of the health ministry of the Republic of Indonesia and the Public Health Faculty of Sriwijaya University. Find problems related to the absence of instruments in digital form, which are useful for conducting studies on infant and under-five mortality problems in health facilities, which were expected to assist in recording and reporting the review process run more effectively and efficiently. This research uses the User-Centered Design (UCD) method because it optimizes the application prototype according to the needs and desires of the end-user, which in this case is the health worker in the Health Facilities in Banyuasin and Musi Banyuasin Regency. The UCD method phases include understanding the use context, specifying the user requirements, designing the solutions, and evaluating against requirements. The results of the study were that the average usability score was 94, meaning that this application's prototype has been made according to the needs and desires of end-users. Also, the prototype of this application is feasible to implement.

Abstract

Indonesia’s rapid e-commerce growth has produced a vast volume of user reviews, yet their use for insight extraction remains limited—particularly for the Bukalapak platform. This study compares the performance of Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine for sentiment classification on 10,000 Bukalapak reviews. The workflow includes text preprocessing (cleaning, case folding, tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming) and feature extraction using Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF; max_features = 10,000). Evaluation employs 10-fold cross-validation with accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, complemented by a paired t-test for significance. Results show SVM outperforming NB (accuracy 84.48% vs. 83.96%; F1 0.8253 vs. 0.8205) with better consistency (standard deviation ±1.08% vs. ±1.24%). The t-test confirms a significant difference (p = 0.019), with SVM’s advantage most evident for the negative class (precision 0.80 vs. 0.78). Both models underperform on the neutral class due to severe class imbalance. These findings provide empirical evidence for algorithm selection in Indonesian e-commerce sentiment analysis and open avenues for future research using deep learning and class-imbalance handling techniques.
