Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of teacher professional competency development through Islamic values-based training within the perspective of human resource management in Islamic education. Using a qualitative approach with library research design, data were obtained from primary sources including the Quran, hadith, and works of Islamic educational thinkers, as well as secondary sources comprising scientific journals, books, and relevant policy documents. Analysis was conducted through content analysis and comparative analysis of selected literature. The findings indicate that teacher professional competency in the Islamic perspective encompasses the integration of spiritual, pedagogical, and moral dimensions that are inseparable. Effective training programs are designed based on the concepts of tarbiyah, ta'lim, and ta'dib by integrating classical Islamic methods with modern learning approaches. Implementation success is significantly influenced by madrasah principal leadership, Islamic organizational culture, and teachers' intrinsic motivation as waratsatul anbiya. Key obstacles include budget limitations, heavy workload, and resistance from some senior teachers. The study concludes that Islamic values-based training is proven capable of enhancing professional competency while simultaneously strengthening teachers' spiritual identity in a holistic and sustainable manner.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this journal is to examine models of change in organizations and find out whether incremental models can be used as solutions for change and development. This article selects literature study research methods and some previous research sources, and this study concludes that organizations must meet the basic principles in decision-making, namely ethics, orientation, scope, authority, credibility, and reference. In this case, organizational decisions are taken using several paradigms, namely the classical paradigm, administrative paradigm, incremental paradigm, administrative-incremental paradigm, and contingency paradigm. This article emphasizes that changing the organization is certainly not easy, especially for organizations with many times and a thick tradition. Most organizations make changes only to the vision and mission but not to the individuals and mindsets of their members. Any change can positively or negatively impact the organization's internal and external environment. Of course, each organization member has a different mindset, and each individual must have different initial goals when first joining an organization. Therefore, a change must be flexible, effective, and accommodate all the wishes of organizational members, not just some groups.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze conflict management based on Islamic organizational communication in Islamic educational institutions. Conflict is an inevitable phenomenon in organizations, including educational settings, where individuals with diverse backgrounds, interests, and perceptions interact. Therefore, effective conflict management strategies are required to ensure that conflicts do not produce negative impacts but instead contribute to organizational improvement. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method in an Islamic educational institution. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques, with validity ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings reveal that conflicts occur among teachers, between teachers and leaders, and among staff, primarily caused by miscommunication, differences in interests, and varying perceptions. Organizational communication plays a strategic role in preventing and resolving conflicts through vertical, horizontal, and diagonal communication patterns, as well as communication strategies such as deliberation and interpersonal approaches. Furthermore, Islamic values such as consultation (shura), justice (‘adl), and reconciliation (ishlah) are proven to be effective in creating fair, humane, and sustainable conflict resolution. This study concludes that the integration of conflict management, organizational communication, and Islamic values can foster a harmonious and productive working environment. However, challenges remain, including communication barriers and inconsistency in applying Islamic values. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance organizational communication quality and strengthen the internalization of Islamic values in conflict management practices within Islamic educational institutions.
