Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the problem of Realization of Separated Regional Management Wealth Results (RSRMWR) in East Java which has experienced fluctuations over the last three year period. Because the decline could result from less than optimal management of the business entity, it is estimated that the Regional Owned Enterprises (ROE) sector will become a business entity that always suffers losses and burdens the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (RREB). It is expected to contribute to Regional Original Income (ROI), but in the field more grants flow from the RREB to ROE, while a small share of profits from ROE is set aside for ROI. The research aims to determine and analyze the effectiveness and contribution of RSRMWR to ROI. The research approach uses quantitative causality. The type of data used in this research is secondary data sourced from djpk.kemenkeu.go.id, the analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research show that partially and simultaneously the effectiveness of RSRMWR and the contribution of RSRMWR do not have a significant effect on the ROI of Regencies and Cities in East Java in 2021-2023.

Abstract

Current information and communication technology has changed the way information is shared, affecting the way people get and deliver news. The number of digital news that continues to increase every day by several news portals poses a challenge, where news is often related to more than one category. From the existing problems, a study was conducted on the classification of online news titles. This study uses the SVM method with mutual information feature selection to classify online news titles. The dataset used is the news title from detik.com using 6 categories, namely finance, travel, health, auto, food, and sport with the number of data per category being 2000 data. The classification process starts from text preprocessing, term weighting using TF-IDF, then feature selection with mutual information, and finally classification with SVM. The results of the study showed that testing various SVM kernels and mutual information (MI) thresholds with a threshold of 85% provided the highest level of F1-score on the SVM machine with the RBF kernel and a C value = 10, which was 86,15%.

Abstract

Cultural heritage is increasingly fading due to the influence of globalization and social changes that shift traditional values. Digitalization is critical to addressing the degradation of cultural heritage knowledge by enabling more accessible storage and documentation and facilitating preservation and education efforts for future generations. Subak, as a unique traditional agricultural system in Bali, Indonesia, has a wealth of valuable knowledge and culture, but it is still scattered and unstructured. An ontology-based Knowledge Management System is designed to capture, organize, and utilize knowledge within a domain using ontologies as a fundamental component. Ontologies explicitly represent knowledge by providing meaning, properties, and relationships with related concepts. This paper proposes data modelling with the Ontology Development framework for the knowledge base. The methodological framework consists of knowledge externalization, including identifying and collecting knowledge based on data modelling through interviews and observations. The second steps are modelling and development of ontology, based on the knowledge that has been previously disclosed, including the hierarchical structure, properties, and relationships that form the knowledge base. The third stage is the Implementation and evaluation, which involves evaluating the quality of ontology using onto metrics and implementing the ontology into the KMS. The result of this study is data modeling for the knowledge base and the Ontology Development framework. The data modelling is a form of data mapping based on a combination of traditional philosophy and modern management principles that underlie Subak activities and artefacts, namely Tri Hita Karana, Desa Kala Patra, and POAC. The proposed framework can be a reference in developing new ontologies from scratch on unstructured cultural heritage data.

Abstract

Education is an important aspect that requires good management so that educational goals are achieved. In an effort to shape the character of students, the role of parents is very important, but it needs to be supported by formal education at school. Student management is an important part of school management to create an orderly, regular, and comfortable learning process. To achieve the goals of school education, student management includes four activities: new student admissions, learning progress activities, guidance and discipline coaching, and observation. Student management generally functions as a place for students to develop as much as possible in terms of social, individuality, aspirations, needs, and other potentials. This study aims to describe the influence of student management on student learning outcomes. By using the literature review method and reviewing six Sinta-accredited articles in the last five years, it was found that student management has a significant effect on student learning achievement. The role of effective student management includes patient management from registration, during the learning process, to graduation—which makes the teaching and learning process more focused so that it produces high-achieving students. However, the success of this management is also influenced by parental involvement; without their support, the achievement of learning goals cannot be fully realized.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of profitability (ROA), liquidity (Current Ratio), growth potential, and managerial ownership on dividend policy in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2020–2024. A quantitative research approach was applied using panel data from annual financial reports. The dependent variable, dividend policy, is proxied by Dividend per Share (DPS), while the independent variables include ROA, CR, growth potential, and managerial ownership. The data analysis method employed is multiple linear regression using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The findings reveal that profitability and managerial ownership significantly affect dividend policy, indicating that companies with higher profitability and greater ownership by management are more likely to distribute dividends. On the other hand, liquidity and growth potential do not show a significant relationship with dividend policy. These results suggest that internal financial strength and the alignment of interests between management and shareholders are key determinants of dividend decisions in the energy sector. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of dividend policy determinants and offers practical implications for investors, company executives, and policymakers.
