Abstract

There has been a shift in the meaning of bowo at a traditional nias wedding party in Sisobahili Village, North Nias Regency, North Sumatra Province. This article discusses the causes of the shift in the meaning of bowo at the traditional wedding party of the nias tribe in Sisobahili Village, North Sumatra Province. This paper uses a qualitative method with the type of research is descriptive. Data collection uses the method of observation, online interview or in the form of via zoom, and documentation. The results showed that there are several factors causing the shift in the meaning of bowo at the traditional wedding party of the Nias Tribe in Sisobahili Village, North Nias Regency, North Sumatra Province, namely: the lack of efforts to pass on culture or familiarize what is usually done according to the bowo culture, changes in people's perceptions of bowo, and changes in the order in carrying out traditional wedding party events.

Abstract

Nilai Huma Betang adalah warisan budaya Dayak yang mengedepankan kebersamaan, kearifan lokal, dan keberlanjutan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi nilai Huma Betang dalam menciptakan sekolah ekoliterasi di SD Negeri 2 Petuk Ketimpun pada siswa kelas awal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan adalah guru, dan kepala sekolah serta siswa pada kelas awal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi nilai Huma Betang telah memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam menciptakan sekolah ekoliterasi di SD Negeri 2 Petuk Ketimpun. Hal ini terlihat dari upaya sekolah dalam memadukan kurikulum formal dengan pendekatan lokal yang berbasis kearifan lokal, seperti pembelajaran di alam terbuka, penggunaan sumber daya lokal sebagai media pembelajaran, dan pengenalan budaya lokal kepada siswa. Selain itu, nilai-nilai seperti gotong royong, kebersamaan, dan rasa tanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan juga ditanamkan melalui berbagai kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan program sosial di sekolah. Dengan demikian, implementasi nilai Huma Betang tidak hanya memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa tetapi juga membantu dalam membentuk sikap dan perilaku ekoliterasi yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memperkuat hubungan antara pendidikan formal dan kearifan lokal serta menunjukkan relevansi nilai-nilai budaya dalam konteks pendidikan ekoliterasi. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya integrasi nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam pengembangan kurikulum sekolah untuk menciptakan generasi yang peduli dan bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation, support, and inhibiting factors of nucu ngoruh in Dayak Siang traditional weddings. A qualitative method with observation, interviews, and documentation was utilized to get the research finding. The implementation of nucu ngoruh in traditional Dayak Siang marriages in Saripoi Village consisted of two versions. The first version of the wedding procession was making pondong, making lawang sakepeng, making hompong, and the marriage contract process. The second version of the marriage procession was pantan pulut, pali manasai, ngiap or kandan ngiap, second hompong and third hompong, which includes hompong balanga, lawang sakepeng, Manasai dance, hompong human/female, and the bride and groom sat side by side on the Mura gong. The supporting factor for nucu ngoruh was that indigenous peoples highly respected the provisions of social and divine values, so indigenous people adjusted to the provisions for the preparation of traditional goods, and the procession of traditional marriages might also be under customary rules. Finally, there were four inhibiting factors for nucu ngoruh. First, the groom was not ready either physically or mentally. The second was the lack of financial support provided. The third was the absence of people who mastered the art of sculpture was make statues to complete the implementation of the traditional Dayak Siang wedding. Fifth, there was no written text or manual procedure for implementing the traditional Dayak Siang wedding procession.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the positive prejudice against religious differences in the context of intergroup relation conflict resolution among junior high school students in Aceh Province. This study used a survey method by taking a sample of three schools. The researcher collected the data in State Junior High School 1 Banda Aceh, State Junior High School 2 Banda Aceh, and State Junior High School 19 Banda Aceh. The study results showed that 79 percent of students in problem solving did not look at their religious background, while 21 percent of students solved problems based on their religious background. The prejudice of 70 percent of students about the existence of religion was in a positive category. They tended to give the same treatment to friends with different religious backgrounds in solving a problem.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, menguji kelayakan, serta mengimplementasikan sekaligus merefleksi buku elektronik sebagai resolusi konflik intergroup relation antar siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian pengembangan yang dikemukakan oleh Dick dan Carry dengan tahapan analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Produk yang dikembangkan yaitu media pembelajaran berupa buku elektronik keindonesiaan yang layak dijadikan sebagai resolusi konflik intergroup relation antar siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Uji kelayakan produk didasarkan pada hasil validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli evaluasi yang masing-masing menghasilkan skor sebesar 4,2 dengan kriteria baik. Implementasi buku elektronik keindonesiaan kepada siswa dan guru terlaksana dengan baik karena fitur-fitur yang disajikan sangat mudah untuk dipahami. Hasil refleksi menunjukkan bahwa buku elektronik keindonesiaan dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi siswa khususnya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir secara kontekstual dalam proses pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive Sparkol VideoScribe learning video integrated with the case method in the Pancasilacourse, which will enable students to understand the Pancasila material better. The problem is the lack of interactive learning mediathat students can access, especially when learning Pancasila. This research uses the type of research development (Research andDevelopment) with the 4-D development model with the stages of defining, designing, developing and dissemination. Thedevelopment stages are integrated in the activities of 1) Integration of Pancasila material, namely the History of Pancasila Formulation, Pancasila as an Ethical System and Pancasila as the Basis for Science and Technology Development; 2) Integrating the material that has been developed into the Sparkol VideoScribe application; 3) Development of Sparkol VideoScribe Interactive Video integrated with Case Method; 4) Preparation of validation instruments and validation of Sparkol VideoScribe Interactive Video Integrated with Case Method by material experts and media experts; 5) Implementing videos that have beendeveloped to students while reflecting and evaluating; 6) Disseminating research products to students. The results of this studyare based on the results of material expert validation obtained a result of 85% with the category "Very Valid". In addition, basedon the assessment of media experts, the result is 75% with the category "Valid". Based on the assessment results from material andmedia expert validators, the interactive video learning media Sparkol VideoScribe is suitable for use in the Pancasila learning process.

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitiannya adalah deskriptif, subjek penelitian adalah Mantir Adat, Wakil Ketua BPD, Tokoh Adat Dayak Siang, Masyarakat 5 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Pelaksanaan Tradisi Manugal masyarakat Dayak Siang di Desa Tino Talih Kecamatan Tanah Siang Kabupaten Murung Raya yaitu Masyarakat Desa Tino Talih tetap melestarikan Tradisi Manugal ini karena sudah turun-temurun dari nenek moyang dahulu, dan dilakukan sejak adanya suku Dayak Siang karena masyarakat Dayak Siang menggantungkan kehidupan pada bercocok tanam yaitu manugal. Meskipun ditengah-tengah kemajuan zaman Tradisi Manugal tetap dipertahankan. Dalam Tradisi Manugal masyarakat Dayak Siang di Desa Tino Talih memiliki Nilai Pancasila sebagai berikut : (1) Nilai Ketuhanan, (2) Nilai Kemanusiaan, (3) Nilai Persatuan, (4) Nilai Kerakyatan, (5) Nilai Keadilan. Kata Kunci : Nilai Pancasila, Tradisi Manugal, Dayak Siang.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the forms of implementation, obstacles and efforts in implementing the project to strengthen the profile of class XI Pancasila students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive research type. Research subjects included the Principal of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya, Deputy Principal of SMA 1 Palangka Raya for curriculum, P5 Coordinator, P5 class XI facilitator, and three class XI students. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya includes the themes of local wisdom and entrepreneurship. P5 implementation is carried out in three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Obstacles faced include students who are less active, time constraints, and costs. Efforts made include giving appreciation to active students, dividing tasks, using time effectively, adding project lesson hours, and submitting funding proposals. The school also provides adequate facilities and infrastructure as well as facilitator teachers who are ready to guide each activity

Abstract

This study compares the environmental awareness character of elementary school students in the Kahayan River Basin, Central Kalimantan Province, who live in rural and urban areas. It is a quantitative study using survey data collection methods. The survey was conducted on 60 students: 30 students from SDN Bukit Rawi 1, located in a rural area, and 30 students from SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya, in an urban area. The survey used a questionnaire containing 20 statements with five answer options, using a Likert scale. The collected data is then analyzed using descriptive percentage analysis. The results showed that students living in rural areas of the Kahayan River Basin had better environmental awareness than those living in urban areas. The majority, 70 percent of rural students, demonstrated "Very Good" ecological awareness, while the majority, 73 percent, of urban students, showed "Good" environmental awareness (one level below "Very Good"). Furthermore, rural students had an average score of 90.59 (Very Good), compared to urban students with an average score of 84.30 (Good). The researchers suggest further studies on the factors influencing students' environmental awareness and the development of products/programs to enhance environmental awareness among students in the Kahayan River Basin.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a video-based learning media for Civics Education (PPKn) on the topic of norms and justice, using a karungut (traditional chant) approach. This research is a type of development research or Research and Development (R&D). The results of the research carried out are 1) The research steps include a) Definition, here what the researcher does is observe and look for problems faced by students in using PPKn learning media and determine how the video-based learning media will be used. b) Design, that is, the researcher designed a video-based learning media, guided by Core Competencies and Basic Competencies in the subject matter of norms and justice in Civics. c) Development, namely carrying out a feasibility test on the karungut video with material experts and media experts. 2) Validity aspect, assessment of the suitability of the material on the karungut video as a PPKn learning media on norms and justice material is based on validation sheets from material experts and media experts, where the three material expert lecturers and the three media expert lecturers have validated the karungut video as a PPKn learning media. on norms and justice material and is suitable for use with several changes according to suggestions or comments given and proven by the results of the analysis of assessment items.
