Abstract

Gedung Sate, as an architectural icon of West Java, integrates elements of local wisdom with Indo-European architectural styles, resulting in a harmony of aesthetics and culture. This study aims to identify the local wisdom embodied in its architecture and analyze the cultural values within it to ensure their interpretation and preservation. Utilizing a qualitative approach through literature review, interviews, and direct observation, the findings reveal that Gedung Sate reflects values such as communal cooperation, respect for nature, and cultural acculturation through architectural elements like temple-inspired facades, its orientation toward Mount Tangkuban Perahu, and the use of local materials. This study underscores the role of Gedung Sate as a cultural heritage symbol that must be preserved through innovative education to strengthen the identity of younger generation. Abstract

This study is a qualitative study with a qualitative descriptive approach that aims to determine the role and efforts of teachers in the formation of disciplined character in fourth grade students. Descriptive qualitative study of fourth grade students of SDN 6 Watampone, Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency. Research data were obtained through interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the role of teachers in the formation of disciplined character in fourth grade students is very important and holistic. Teachers do not only serve as educators who instill disciplined values ​​through learning, but also as mentors, trainers, and evaluators who actively shape, guide, and evaluate students' disciplined behavior. Teachers' efforts in the formation of disciplined character in fourth grade students are carried out holistically and integratedly. Teachers do not only rely on setting rules through class agreements, but also teach time management, provide supportive guidance, and exemplify disciplined behavior in everyday life. This holistic and integrated approach is supported by open communication, cooperation with parents, and family problem solving, so that students can internalize and apply disciplined values ​​consistently in various aspects of their lives.

Abstract

The objective of this observation is to explore the connection between Hyponymy as a semantic feature and the movie entitled Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. As a part of Semantics, a hyponym is a particular word that represents a general term, referred to as a hypernym. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, which involved analyzing the movie transcript to categorize words as hypernyms and hyponyms. Data had been gathered primarily based on the association with hyponyms concerning semantics analysis. The hyponyms are discovered in a total of 40 hyponyms in this observation. There are nine general terms: (1). 18 names, (2). 4 clans, (3). 1 ethnic, (4). 5 families, (5). 1 country, (6). 4 cities, (7). 1 animal, (8). 4 parts of the body, (9). 3 supernatural creatures.

Abstract

This study aims to group student monitoring data by focusing on two main variables, namely anxiety level and mood score, using the K-Means Clustering method. The research data was obtained from the Kaggle platform, which contains 1000 rows of data with nine attributes, including Student ID, Date, Class Time, Attendance Status, Stress Level, Sleep Hours, Anxiety Level, Mood Score, and Risk Level. The research process involved several stages, from problem identification, data collection, data cleaning and preprocessing, to the application of the K-Means algorithm. The analysis results showed that the data could be divided into two main groups: Cluster 1 consists of students with low to moderate anxiety levels and high mood scores, while Cluster 2 includes students with high anxiety and low mood scores. These findings provide relevant information for schools or campuses to design more effective psychological support and emotional monitoring programs. Additionally, this clustering method can serve as a foundation for developing an early detection system for psychological issues among students.

Abstract

Nyeri punggung merupakan salah satu keluhan tersering yang dialami ibu hamil trimester II dan III akibat perubahan biomekanik, hormonal, dan peningkatan beban tubuh. Pengelolaan nyeri secara non farmakologis seperti kompres hangat, aromaterapi, serta edukasi digital menjadi pilihan aman dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi Thermascent-Belt dan Aplikasi e-Nyeribumil terhadap pennurunan nyeri punggung pada ibu hamil. Desain penelitian menggunakan quasi experimental pretest-postetst with control group. Subjek adalah ibu hamil trimester II-III yang menagalami nyeri punggung, dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok perlakuan yeng menggunakan Thermascent-belt selama 30 menit per hari dan mengakses aplikasi e-nyeribumil selama 7 hari, serta kelompok kontrol yang mendapat edukasi standar. Data intensitas nyeri dikumpulkan menggunakan Visual Analog Scale (VAS) dan dianalisis menggunakan paired t-test dan independent t-test. Hasil menunjukkan adanya penurunan nyeri yang signifikan pada kelompok perlakuan dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (p<0,05). Keterbatasan penelitian ini adalah waktu intervensi yang singat dan ukuran sampel yang terbatas. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah penggunaan aplikasi dan intervensi jangka panjang serta uji efektif pada pupolasi yang lebih luas. Simpulan, kombinasi Thermascent-Belt dan aplikasi e-Nyeribumil efektif dalam menurunkan nyeri punggung pada ibu hamil trimester II dan III.

Abstract

One way to develop culture, particularly in the field of Yogyakarta-style classical dance, is through training outside the palace walls. One type of dance that can be learned is the Srimpi Pandhelori dance. This dance's existence has spread to various cities such as Jakarta. This study aims to analyze the form of Srimpi Pandhelori dance training conducted by dance communities in Jakarta. Throughout the journey, there has been a transformation in training methods and challenges faced in maintaining traditional values. The method used is ethnochoreology with an approach of literature study, observation, and interviews. The results of the study explain that the training and performance activities carried out by three different institutions are part of a cultural preservation strategy that is adaptive to the times. This study also emphasizes the importance of maintaining the rules as a collective memory that represents Javanese cultural identity. Ultimately, it is recommended that the Srimpi Pandhelori Dance training strategy in Jakarta continue to be developed by utilizing digital technology more optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital pocket book as a learning medium for fifth-grade science education in elementary school. The research follows the Research and Development (R&D) model, encompassing the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, documentation, expert validation questionnaires, as well as response questionnaires from both students and teachers. The validation results show that the material expert provided a score of 92%, categorized as “very valid”, the language expert gave 86.6%, also deemed “very valid”, and the media expert rated it at 98%, falling under the “very valid” criteria. The teacher response questionnaire indicated a 100% score, classified as “very practical”, while the student response in the field trial also reached 100%, likewise rated as “very practical”. According to the paired sample t-test evaluation, a significance value of Sig < α (0.000 < 0.05) was obtained, indicating a significant improvement in student learning outcomes through the use of the digital pocket book. The study focused on the topic of identifying various types of creative economic activities in the local community, specifically for fifth-grade students in Langsa City.

Abstract

The imbalance between the needs and availbility of village funds and the limited human resource of goverment staf, make it quite difficult for the village goverment to optimize the distribution of priority village funds. The presence of village assistants in one of the major supports for the goverment and the community in overcoming these problems. This study aims to determine the role played by village assistants in optimizing the distribution of village fund in Gunungcupu,Ciamis Regency. The reserch method used is a qualitative approach with thw descriptive method. The techniques used are observation, interviews and dosumentation. The result of the study show that there are several roles played by village assistants in optimizing the distribution of village funds in Gunungcupu, namely the role in conveying various matters related to village funds in village delibration forums and banners in strategic place, inventory problems together with the goverment and community by conducting survey in the field, openly provide consultation and education related to things that are not yet understood by the community and goverment both in the planning process to reporting, facilitate community groups that need training, conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of activities that have been funded by village funds. The conclusion of this study is that Gunungcupu Village assistants have attemted to provide assistance in the distribution of village funds through the role of socializing, identifying problems, providing consultation and education, conducting monitoring and evaluation. This is in accordance with the village assistant SOP.

Abstract

The study aimed to find out the significance of the mobile technology-assisted flipped classroom method to increase the complexity of students' reading by video narrative through fairy story YouTube videos as a media in Junior High School. This research design is a quantitative study with an experimental research design. The population was all of the students at SMP Negeri 4 Satu Atap Panai Hulu, Indonesia. The sample used by random sampling technique was divided into two groups were experimental group taught by mobile technology-assisted YouTube video narrative and the control group taught using the reading book method. The data was collected by using pre-test and post-test and were analyzed by using the t-test formula of 16.0 SPSS. The result found that the t-test is the value of sig. (2 tailed) of 0.000<0.5  means that there was a significant effect of mobile technology-assisted flipped classroom method to increase the complexity of students' reading by video narrative through fairy story YouTube video as a media.
