Abstract

 Keywords: Student perception, teacher effort, character buildingThis study aims to reveal how students perceptions of teachers efforts in building the character of students in SMP Negeri in Aceh Besar Area. This type of research approach is descriptive quantitative. The sample of the study were 87 students representing three Junior High Schools of Aceh Besar. Sampling is done based on simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted using a questionnaire. Based on the results of data analysis, the findings of this study can be submitted as follows: (1) The results of data analysis on the research variables showed that students perceptions of teachers efforts in building the character of student in three SMPN Aceh Large areas are in good category. (2) In the three subvariables of moral knowing, moral feelings, and moral actions show that students' perceptions are in a very good category for aspects of moral knowing. While aspects of moral feelings and moral actions are both in good category. (3) In each item statement indicates that there are still learners who have negative perceptions of the teacher's efforts in building the character of student both in terms of moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral actions. Evident from the 45 items statement there is only one item that escaped the negative perception of students, while 44 other items still show negative perceptions of students with different frequencies and percentages. Among them 24 items with percentage 15% and 20 other items ≤ 40%.

Abstract

ABSTRAKHarga diri aspek kepribadian yang sangat penting bagi siswa. Perilaku siswa dipengaruhi oleh bagaimana harga diri mereka sendiri, Harga diri dibentuk dari lingkungan dimana individu berada seperti, orang tua, guru, teman dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kondisi dari hubungan antara persepsi siswa mengenai kepedulian guru dengan harga diri siswa pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri di Kota Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu SMP Negeri 1 Kota Banda Aceh dan SMP Negeri 11 Kota Banda Aceh. Sampel yang diambil ialah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri Kota Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 184 siswa, menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan teknik random sampling. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah skala harga diri dan skala kepedulian guru dalam bentuk skala likert. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan antara persepsi siswa mengenai kepedulian guru dengan harga diri siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mempersepsikan kepedulian guru dominan pada tingkat kategori sangat rendah dengan persentase 77,17% dan tingkat harga diri siswa dominan pada tingkat sedang dengan persentase 45,65%. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang signifikan positif antara persepsi siswa mengenai kepedulian guru dengan harga diri siswa dengan koefisien r = 0,296 dan p = 0,000. Dapat diartikan bahwa apabila semakin tinggi kepedulian guru dalam persepsi siswa maka semakin tinggi pula harga diri siswa. Demikian pula sebaliknya apabila semakin rendah kepedulian guru dalam persepsi siswa maka semakin rendah pula harga diri siswa.Kata Kunci : Harga Diri, Persepsi Siswa, Kepedulian Guru

Abstract

This study entitled "music therapy to reduce Academic stress levels In Public High School 5 Banda Aceh". As for the purpose of writing is to know the academic stress levels decrease in students of Public High School 5 Banda Aceh through music therapy-type Islamic instruments. This paper is a research experiment by using pre-experiment design one group pretest-posttest and is a quantitative approach. The research was carried out in Public High School 5 Banda Aceh. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, while the subject is students who have high academic stress levels, five students obtained to have such criteria. Data collection method using the 0-4 scale. Data analysis using a non-parametric statistical test which was Wilcoxon Signed Rank. The results show that the average academic stress score is of five people before treatment were 63, while after music therapy treatment the average score of academic stress decreased to 34.6. The Z statistic obtained from Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test was -2.023 with a significant level of 0.043 which is smaller than 0.05. The results indicated that music therapy can be used to decrease the level of academic stress.

Abstract

Religious education is believed to nurture the individual to behave more responsible. This research attempts to describe the correlation between religious educations with the heterosexual desire of students in one of public high school in Baitussalam Aceh Besar. This study aims to determine the relationship between religious educations with students' heterosexual desires. The type of research used is quantitative research with descriptive and correlational method. The population in this study was all students of SMAN 1 Unggul Baitussalam Aceh Besar amounted to 300 people. Sampling technique utilized was probability sampling. Data collected using five scaled questionnaire. Research data is processed and analyzed by percentage and Spearman correlation. The results showed that the highest category in religious education was the medium category, while the highest category of heterosexual passions was also the medium category. The result of correlation test analysis showed a significant negative correlation between religious educations with student heterosexual desires, the correlation coefficient obtained was -0.185 with a significant level of 0.15. This means that the proposed work hypothesis can be accepted, so it can be said the higher the religious education the lower the heterosexual desire in SMAN 1 Unggul Baitussalam Aceh Besar. Keywords: Religious educations, heterosexual desire, high school students ABSTRAKPendidikan religius dipercaya dapat membina individu menjadi lebih bertanggung jawab terutama terhadap dirinya sendiri dan dapat mengendalikan perilakunya. Penelitian ini berupaya mendiskripsikan korelasi antara edukasi religius dengan hasrat heteroseksual siswa SMAN 1 Unggul Baitussalam Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara edukasi religius dengan hasrat hetero seksual siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa SMAN 1 Unggul Baitussalam Aceh Besar berjumlah 300 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah probability sampling yaitu penyampelan secara acak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan intrumen berupa skala berkategori lima. Data penelitian diolah dan di analisis dengan persentase dan korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kategori terbanyak pada edukasi religius adalah kategori sedang. Sementara kategori terbanyak pada hasrat hetero seksual juga berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil analisis uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya korelasi negatif yang signifikansi antara edukasi religius dengan hasrat hetero seksual siswa, koefisien korelasi yang diperoleh adalah -0.185 dengan tingkat signifikan 0.15. Artinya hipotesis kerja yang diajukan dapat diterima, sehingga dapat dikatakan semakin tinggi edukasi religius maka semakin rendah hasrat hetero seksual di SMAN 1 Unggul Baitussalam Aceh Besar.Kata kunci: edukasi religious, hasrat hetero seksual, siswa SMA

Abstract

Self esteem is an individual's ability to describe his situation both positively and negatively. The more individuals describe positive things about themselves, the higher self esteem they have, otherwise if the individual describes himself with negative things then the self esteem possessed will be low. This study aims to see the effect of assertive training techniques in improving self esteem in students. In this case the assertive training technique is an exercise in communicating what we want without taking rights and hurting the feelings of others which consists of a series of stages namely role playing, modeling and assertive training. The research approach used is quantitative Pre-Experimental Design with the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjects in this study are students who have low self esteem. Data collection method in this study uses a self esteem scale with a reliability of 0.878 which means it has very high reliability. Data analysis was done by categorizing it into category norms and then tested through Wilcoxon sign test. The results showed an average pre-test value of 78.1 higher than the post-test average of 119. The results of the data analysis obtained in this study were the Wilcoxon test value of Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) (0,005 0,05) Then testing the hypothesis in this study Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that assertive training techniques are effectively used to improve self esteem in students. Key Word: Assertive Training, Self Esteem, StudentsAbstrak: Self esteem (harga diri) adalah kemampuan individu dalam menggambarkan keadaan dirinya baik secara positif maupun negatif. Semakin individu menggambarkan hal positif mengenai dirinya maka akan semakin tinggi self esteem yang dimiliki, sebaliknya jika individu menggambarkan dirinya dengan hal negatif maka self esteem yang dimiliki akan rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh teknik latihan asertif dalam meningkatkan self esteem pada siswa. Dalam hal ini teknik latihan asertif merupakan latihan mengkomunikasikan apa yang kita inginkan tanpa mengambil hak dan menyakiti perasaan orang lain yang terdiri dari serangkaian tahapan yaitu bermain peran, pencontohan dan latihan asertif. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif Pre-Experimental Design dengan bentuk One Group Pretest- Posttest Design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa dengan self esteem rendah. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan skala self esteem dengan reliabilitas sebesar 0.878 yang menunjukkan reliabilitas sangat tinggi. Analisis data dihasilkan dengan mengkategorikan ke dalam norma kategori lalu diuji melalui Wilcoxon sign test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 78,1 lebih tinggi dari rata-rata post-test yaitu 119. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) bernilai 0,005 atau menunjukkan probabilitas dibawah 0,05 (0,005 0,05). Abstract

Kata Kunci: Rational Emotive Therapy, Teknik Dispute Kognitif, Perilaku BulliPenelitian ini mengenai aplikasi rational emotive therapy dengan menggunakan teknik dispute kognitif dalam menurunkan perilaku bulli pada siswa di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk dapat mengetahui bagaimana tingkat perilaku bulli pada siswa setelah diberikan treatment rational emotive therapy dengan menggunakan teknik dispute kognitif. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 20 siswa berdasarkan rekomendasi dari guru BK, sedangkan sampel penelitian berjumlah 8 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala Likert. Teknik analisa data yaitu analisis deskriprif kuantitatif menggunakan statistik non-parametric dengan analisis paired sample sign-test. Skor rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa sebelum pemberian treatment sebesar 60,37, sedangkan  setelah pemberian treatment sebesar 40,25. Dari 8 peserta treatment, perubahan penurunan tanda negatif (-) diperoleh pada semua peserta, pengujian tabel binomial untuk n=8 dengan 8 tanda positif pada α=0,05 diperoleh nilai probabilitas sebesar 0,0039, karena 0,0039 0,05, maka hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan skor perilaku bulli pada siswa SMPN 8 Banda Aceh sebelum dan setelah pemberian treatment rational emotive tehrapy dengan menggunakan teknik dispute kognitif.

Abstract

The study, entitled "self regulated Learning On high school students in terms of Perception Toward Parenting parents" aims to find out students ' perceptions towards parenting adopted by parents in the family and to know the differences in self-regulated learning high school students in terms of perceptions of parenting parents. This research using quantitative methods. The population of the research was 100 students of Class XI of SMAN 3 Unggul Sigli  with a sample of 80 research students who obtained through the technique of sampling simple random sampling. The measurement tool used in this research is the Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) to measure the parenting and the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaaire (MSLQ) to measure self regulated learning. The results showed that students with authoritarian parenting perceptions of 32.5%, students with permissive parenting perceptions by 10% and the students democratic parenting perceptions of 48.75%. Further data were analyzed using Chi Square statistical techniques. From the results of the analysis of research data, retrieved the value of the Chi Square calculating of 4,810 with significance level 0.05 and df = (2-1) (6-1) = 5 retrieved the value of the chi square table of 10. Then 10 then the differences 4,810 don't significantly, meaning that Ho and Ha accepted rejected. From these results it can be concluded that there is no self regulation perbedan in the study of perception toward parenting parents.Keyword: self regulated learning, parenting, senior high school studentsABSTRAKPenelitian berjudul “Regulasi Diri dalam Belajar Pada Siswa SMA Ditinjau Dari Persepsi Terhadap Pola Asuh Orang Tua” ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pola asuh yang diterapkan oleh orang tua di dalam keluarga dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan regulasi diri dalam belajar siswa SMA ditinjau dari persepsi pola asuh orang tua. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah 100 siswa kelas XI SMAN 3 Unggul Sigli dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 80 siswa yang diperoleh melalui teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) untuk mengukur pola asuh dan Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaaire (MSLQ) untuk mengukur regulasi diri dalam belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan persepsi pola asuh otoriter sebesar 32.5%, siswa dengan persepsi pola asuh permisif sebesar 10% dan siswa dengan persepsi pola asuh demokratis sebesar 48.75%. Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik Chi Square. Dari hasil analisis data penelitian, diperoleh nilai Chi Square hitung sebesar 4.810 dengan level significance 0.05 dan df =(2-1)(6-1) = 5 diperoleh nilai chi square tabel sebesar 11.07. Maka 4.810 11.07 maka perbedaan tidak signifikan, artinya  Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak. Dari hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedan regulasi diri dalam belajar ditinjau dari persepsi terhadap pola asuh orang tua.Kata kunci : regulasi diri dalam belajar, pola asuh, siswa SMA

Abstract

Student learning difficulties must be handled so that students can develop and learn well. The purpose of this study is to determine the behavior of students who have difficulty learning and know what factors influence the learning difficulties of students of SMPN 10 Banda Aceh. Descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of SMPN 10 Banda Aceh. The data collection techniques used namely AUM PTSDL and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the problems that must be observed by BK teachers are several fields, namely the prerequisites for mastering the subject matter, learning skills, learning facilities, self-condition, the physical environment, and socio-emotional environment that each student has priority issues that need to be immediately guidance. And based on the results of the interview showed that the behavior of students who have difficulty learning at the school that many students go in and out of the room during class hours, sleep in class during class hours, disturb friends while studying, do not do assignments, and skip classes. The factors causing the learning difficulties of students were low learning motivation, poor time management, not conducive classroom atmosphere, and the influence of friends, family, and teachers.Keywords: Learning difficulties, Middle school student, AUM-PTSDL ABSTRAK Kesulitan belajar siswa harus di tangani agar siswa dapat berkembang dan belajar dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui prilaku siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar dan mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kesulian belajar siswa SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian Deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan yaitu AUM PTSDL dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkanpermasalahan yang harus diperhatikan oleh guru BK ada beberapa bidang yaitu prasyarat penguasaan materi pelajaran, keterampilan belajar, sarana belajar, keadaan diri sendiri, keadaan lingkungan fisik dan lingkungan sosio emosional yang masing-masing siswa memiliki prioritas masalah yang perlu segera mendapatkan bimbingan. Serta berdasarkan hasil wawancara menunjukan bahwa prilaku siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar disekolah SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh adalah siswa banyak yang keluar masuk ruangan saat jam pelajaran, tidur di kelas saat jam mata pelajaran, mengganggu teman saat belajar, tidak mengerjakan tugas, bolos ketika jam pelajaran dan faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh di sebabkan oleh motivasi belajar rendah, manajemen waktu yang kurang baik, suasana kelas tidak kondusif, pengaruh teman, keluarga dan guru. Kata Kunci: Kesulitan belajar, Siswa SMP, AUM-PTSDL

Abstract

 Smoking desire some character that must derived because it can  carry people to be  active smoker. The purpose of this study is to help decrease this desire in students of SMAN 1 Darul Imarah using self management techniques, also to prove if this technique  bring significant changes before and after the students given treatment. This research type was an quantitative approach with pre-experimental study one group pre-post test design. Samples are 8 students from 44 students were selected by purposive sampling method. The research  data were collected using questionnaire with 1-4 scale. Data were analyzed using paired-sample sign test-scale to prove there is decrease in the desire of smoking before and after treatment. The results of this research  there was a significant score increase after treatment self-management techniques given to students, there are difference value of post-test lower than the pre-test of 70.37 ≤ 88.62. Which means, there is an decrease score  in the score of smoking desire before and after given self management techniques. Decrease score before and after given treatment as much as 18,62. As for positive changes (+) or X as much as 8 therefore, by looking at the binominal table n = 8 and p = 0.5, then the probability for X≥8 is 0.004 and because 0.004 is smaller than 0.05 then the hypothesis testing in this research Ho is rejected. This means that there is a significant difference in smoking craving score from samples before and after given self management technique. It means this treatment was success in helping decrease somking desire in students of SMAN 1 Darul Imarah.Keywords : Smoking Desire, Self Management Technique

Abstract

This research entitled "Coping Strategy (Problem Focused Coping and Emotion Focused Coping) in Facing Stress on Student Composer of FKIP Universitas Syiah Kuala". The purpose of this study is to determine the level of stress and coping strategies used by students in dealing with stress when preparing the thesis. This research uses quantitative approach implemented in Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) with sampling using accindental sampling technique. Sample research used is the students who are preparing a thesis as many as 100 people who meet the requirements and criteria specified by researchers. Data collection using questionnaires namely the stress level questionnaire and also questionnaire coping strategies are processed with descriptive statistical analysis. After doing the data processing, the first questionnaire obtained the description of stress level of students who made the thesis is 72% are in the medium category, 19% are in the high category and 9% are in the low category. Furthermore, in the second questionnaire to find coping strategies used by students in dealing with stress, it was found that most students in facing stress using problem focused coping strategy that is as much as 56% and 44% using coping emotion focused coping strategy. The conclusion in this research shows that most of the students who make the thesis experience stress in the medium category and face the stress by using different coping strategies. Based on these results, the researcher suggested to the students to use effective coping strategies such as raising awareness of the problem, pengelohan information and behavior change in facing stress when preparing the thesis.
