Abstract

Introduction: Currently, many women still do not know what kind of pads are safe to use. Errors in choice and use of pads can hurt reproductive health. Purpose: Knowing the influence of peer group education WhatsApp (PGEW) on promoting knowledge and attitude (KA) about sanitary pads. Methods: The type of research is a quasi-experiment pre-and post-test with a control group; the samples are 30 people in each group; the sampling technique is consecutive sampling; Data of (KA) have been collected by filling out questionnaires, and research has been conducted for 3–4 months Education in the intervention group is done via WhatsApp, while education in the control group is done via a module. The statistical test used T-Independent test. Results: There was an increase in the average knowledge of 10.26 from (67.44-77.69, p-value <0.001), and there was an increase in the average attitude of 4.18 from (50.48-54.65, p-value 0.024). Independent T-tests showed that there was a difference in average knowledge around 7.436 (p-value 0.014< α 0.05) and there is a difference in average attitude around 8.360 (p-value 0.027< α 0.05). Conclusion: The PGEW method is effectively used to improve the (KA) of adolescents about sanitary pads.

Abstract

Untuk menganalisis cara pemilihan media pembelajaran serta menganalisis apa saja kendala yang ada pada pemilihan media pembelajaran. Ada beberapa tahap dalam pemilihan media yaitu pendidik harus mengetahui apa saja faktor dan kriteria di dalam pemilihan media pembelajaran, setelah mengetahui faktor dan kriterianya disitulah baru guru bisa menjalan tips dan trik dalam pemilihan media seperti pendidik harus menyeesuaikan antara jenis media dengan materi kurikulum, memilih media yang harganya relatif tidak mahal, adanya perangkat keras di sekolahan untuk menyeimbangi buku pelajaran serta memiliki kemudahan dalm penggunaannya. Kemudian banyak juga kendala yang dialamai pada pemilihan media seperti banyaknya pendidik yang tidak faham karena berbedanya jurusan yang ditempuh ketika kulia dengan profesi yang ia jalani dan kurangnya fasilitas bahan ajar di sekolahan terutama sekolah di perdesaan terpencil. Dengan hal tersebut maka pendidik harus menyesuaikan antara jurusan yang ia tempuh di perkuliahan dengan profesi yang ia jalani agar bisa memahami faktor dan kriteria dalam pemilihan media pembelajaran yang baik dan sesuai.

Abstract

Ketersediaan air bersih merupakan faktor penting bagi kelangsungan hidup manusia dan lingkungan. Desa Sidamulya di Kecamatan Jalaksana, Kabupaten Kuningan, menghadapi tantangan dalam menyediakan pasokan air bersih yang memadai bagi penduduk dan sektor pertanian. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini dan mendukung tujuan keenam dari Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), yaitu memastikan ketersediaan dan pengelolaan air bersih secara berkelanjutan, dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa sosialisasi peningkatan supply air bersih. Kegiatan ini melibatkan metode partisipatoris, meliputi Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pelaksanaan program sosialisasi, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan melalui ceramah, diskusi, dan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya pengelolaan air bersih dengan teknologi yang ramah lingkungan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa 51% peserta merasa puas, dan 49% sangat puas terhadap kegiatan ini, serta memahami manfaat dari peningkatan supply air bersih dengan teknologi terbaru. Implementasi dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi jangka panjang bagi Desa Sidamulya dalam upaya mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: Supply Air Bersih, Desa Sidamulya, Pembangunan Berkelanjutan, Sosialisasi, Pengelolaan Air.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of viral marketing and tourist motivation on visiting interest, both partially and simultaneously. Conducted at Lambangan Pauno Beach in Banggai Laut Regency, the research adopts a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires. A total of 150 respondents were selected using the Cochran formula, and the data were analysed using multiple linear regression. The results show that viral marketing does not have a significant partial effect on visiting interest (sig. 0.412 > 0.05), while tourist motivation has a positive and significant influence (sig. 0.000 < 0.05). However, when examined simultaneously, both viral marketing and tourist motivation significantly affect visiting interest (sig. 0.000 < 0.05), with tourist motivation emerging as the more dominant factor. The study concludes that tourists’ motivation is the primary driver behind interest in visiting Lambangan Pauno Beach, whereas viral marketing alone does not significantly influence visitation interest. The research is limited in scope, focusing only on viral marketing and tourist motivation without considering other potential influencing factors such as service quality, accessibility, or available facilities. Nonetheless, the findings offer valuable insights for tourism managers, marketers, and local government agencies by highlighting the importance of enhancing tourist motivation to increase visitation interest. Furthermore, this study contributes to the broader fields of tourism market. Kata Kunci: Viral Marketing, Tourist Motivation, Interest in Visiting

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi di segala bidang, termasuk universitas, membuat dosen dan mahasiswa terus meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam mengerjakan proyek-proyek. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan teknologi komputer yang dapat mendukung proses kerja proyek yang berkaitan dengan mata kuliah Mekanika Tanah. Selama ini mahasiswa dan dosen selalu kesulitan melakukan perhitungan yang rumit, dimana membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk menyelesaikannya dan hasilnya belum tentu akurat. Salah satu aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu menyelesaikan perhitungan pada mata kuliah Mekanika Tanah adalah aplikasi Plaxis. Oleh karena itu perlu diadakan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Plaxis, pelatihan ini penulis laksanakan bersama tim di Program Studi Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Tridinanti Palembang. Pelatihan di Aula Fakultas Teknik Universitas Tridinanti Palembang yang dihadiri oleh dosen dan mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Tridinanti Palembang. Pelatihan ini mendapat respon yang baik dari para peserta. Diharapkan dosen dan mahasiswa dapat menerapkan aplikasi The Plaxis setelah mengikuti kegiatan tersebut

Abstract

Setiap istitusi pendidikan yang terdampak pandemi covid-19 mau tidak mau harus terbiasa untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran secara online. Untuk itu diperlukan banyak persiapan dari sekolah mulai dari media pendukung sampai kepada Sumber Daya Manusia. Sumber Daya Manusia yang dimaksud tentu saja guru pengajar dan tentu saja harus ada administer yang bertanggung jawab dalam pengelolaan web yang digunakan. Hal ini juga harus dipersiapkan dengan memberikan pelatihan cara penggunaan moodle sebagai administrator. Adapun pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini akan dilakukan secara tatap muka bagi calon administrator moodle di SMA Dharma Bakti Palembang. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan presentasi, tanya jawab interaktif, dan praktik secara langsung di SMA Dharma Bakti Palembang. Hasil Akhir yang diharapkan dari pelatihan ini adalah peserta dapat terampil dan memahami cara penggunaan moodle sebagai administrator sehingga mampu mengelola user, mengelola kelas serta enroll guru untuk keperluan pembelajaran online di SMA Dharma Bakti palembang.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide an understanding that universities and academics act as business incubators for developing small and medium enterprises. In order to support the growth and development of SMEs, there needs to be a synergy from various parties ranging from academia, industry, and universities as stakeholders. The business incubator is a place used by many developing countries, including Indonesia, as a means of developing new businesses and/or small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The business incubator itself is an institution that oversees a business incubation in the coaching process for small businesses and/or new product development as well as the provision of business facilities and infrastructure, business development, and management and technology support. The availability of skilled labor needed by the Business and Work World (DUKA) is still very low. This is revealed from data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) which was announced in February 2020, which was around 13%. This condition is a challenge for universities not to exacerbate this condition by introducing an early work environment to students, so that they can become graduates according to the needs of the job market, either as employees or business owners through student business incubators at universities.The Business Incubator is a form of Academic Entrepreneurship adapted to the industrial era 4.0 based on the use of electronic media and the internet. To socialize the community service material to SME business actors, the lecture method and question-and-answer method are used for 90 minutes. The results of the socialization have further increased the understanding of the community and SMEs about the importance of developing business incubators as business facilities and infrastructure in business development.

Abstract

The use of technology in data management has become the key to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of company performance. PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk has implemented a computerized employee attendance system through the Employee Self Service (ESS) application. However, so far there has been no evaluation regarding the level of user satisfaction with the application. This study aims to measure ESS user satisfaction to provide input in future application development. The method used is End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) which includes five variables: Content, Accuracy, Format, Ease of Use, and Timeliness. Data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires and analyzed using the SPSS application. The results of the t-test showed that the Format variable had the most significant influence (t = 4.281), while the other variable showed an insignificant influence individually. However, through the F test, an F value was obtained of 3.791 with a significance of 0.003, which shows that simultaneously all EUCS variables have a significant effect on user satisfaction. These results are expected to be the basis for companies to improve the performance of ESS applications and support the overall work efficiency of employees.
