Abstract

This study aims to investigate three relationships. The first is between company image and customer loyalty (CL). The second is between brand image and CL. The final decision is between a company and the brand image. Moreover, to meet this goal, readers of the West Java Tribun Daily Newspaper in Bandung are employed as the sample. Unfortunately, this study only gathered data from 75 people using the convenience sampling technique. Moreover, it analyzed their responses statistically using confirmatory factor and reliability analyses, as well as assessment model criteria and t-statistics, to examine the shaped hypotheses using a partial least squares-based structural equation model. As a result, three positive tendencies occur: (1) Consumers with a stronger brand image will have better loyalty, (2) the higher their brand image, the higher their loyalty, and (3) the customers with a better company image will have a better brand image. Based on these facts, this study recommends that West Java Tribun News in Bandung pay attention to the digital media content background, such as YouTube and social media. Additionally, its assigned staff members should interact with the readers by replying to their comments on these media.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) face increasing challenges in sustaining competitiveness due to limited strategic capabilities, inadequate competitor analysis, and insufficient differentiation strategies. Existing strategic tools are generally designed for large enterprises and often fail to address the specific characteristics and resource limitations of MSMEs. This study addresses the research gap by developing an integrated strategic framework to support MSMEs in building sustainable competitive strategies. The purpose of this strategy is to address the challenges faced by MSMEs and develop competitive strategies. The methodology of this strategic tool is qualitative, using a literature review of journals conducted with PRISMA 2020. The result is Competitive Strategy Canvas has eleven elements consisting of Focus on a niche market (F); Operationally efficient (O); Market Research & Analysis (R); Monitor and benchmark performance (M); Agile and Responsive (A); Invest in talent and training (T); Build Strong Customer Relationships (B); Sustainable Innovation (I); Differentiation (D); Effective Marketing and Branding (E); Strategic partnerships and alliances (S). Expectantly, the originality of this study lies in proposing a comprehensive strategic framework specifically designed for MSMEs, which may assist business owners in developing more adaptive and sustainable competitive strategies while also providing a foundation for future quantitative validation studies.

Abstract

Sustaining high-level nursing performance in complex hospital environments remains a critical determinant of healthcare delivery, clinical safety, and patient recovery outcomes. This empirical investigation evaluates the structural causal relationships among workplace environment, self-efficacy, and nurse performance within hospital settings, specifically analyzing the mediating role of self-efficacy. Data collection occurred in November 2025 at two selected healthcare facilities in Indonesia: Sumber Kasih Hospital in Cirebon and Budi Agung Juwana Hospital in Pati. Target sample size parameters were determined utilizing the Isaac and Michael formula, with a non-probability snowball sampling strategy yielding 208 completed nurse responses. Analytical procedures employed Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling to execute rigorous measurement validation, path analysis, and structural equation testing. Empirical findings demonstrate that both self-efficacy and the workplace environment have significant, direct positive effects on nurse performance. The quality of the workplace environment also exerts a strong, direct positive effect on nurses' self-efficacy. Mediation analysis confirms that self-efficacy partially mediates the relationship between the workplace environment and clinical performance outcomes. Multidimensional environmental support, encompassing physical gratification, psychological stability, independent competence, collaborative relationships, and structural supports, facilitates the execution of daily tasks while fundamentally reshaping nurses' perceptions of their clinical capabilities. Strengthening internal confidence enables nursing staff to maintain high standards of care under demanding operational conditions. Hospital administrators must combine structural environmental investments with psychological empowerment initiatives to optimize overall clinical care quality.
