Abstract

This study aims to enhance students’ interst and understanding of the material “Me and My Needs” using children’s song audio media. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subject of the study were fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Wonokerso. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and student comprehension tests. The results of the study indicate that the use of song audio significantly increased students’ interest dan undersatanding of the tought material. In the first cycle, student interest began to rise although the comprehension remained relatively low. In the second cycle, there was a significant improvement in both interest and comprehension. The third cycle showed optimal results, where almost all students demonstrated high interest and good comprehension of the material. Therefore, the use of song audio media is proven to be effective in enhancing students’ interest and understanding of the material “Me and My Needs”. The implementation of this strategy is recommended as an innovative and enjoyable alternative for primary school learning.

Abstract

This research aims to improve science and science learning outcomes for grade 5 students at SDN Ngipik through a PBL learning model with a scientific approach. This research uses the classroom action research (PTK) method which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The instruments used were pretest and posttest questions. The sample used in this research was 16 grade 5 students at SDN Ngipik. Based on the research results and the results of the discussion, several conclusions can be drawn, namely the use of the Problem Based Learning model with a scientific approach improves student learning outcomes in magnetism, electricity and technology for life, the use of the Problem Based Learning model can help make it easier for students to remember the learning material, because directly to the problem, the use of the Problem Based Learning model can generate activity, motivation and creativity, students in learning, and the class atmosphere becomes enjoyable.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan yang cepat dari Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) dalam pendidikan memungkinkan siswa untuk mengakses bahan belajar yang lengkap dari berbagai sumber. Para siswa didorong untuk belajar mandiri dan mereka menjadi subyek belajar (student centered) dan guru dituntut inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pembelajaran IPS berbasis ICT menggunakan Lectora Inspire dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dari pada buku-buku teks. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental kuasi dilakukan di SD Negeri Gedongtengen Yogyakarta pada semester 2 tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kelompok Kontrol acak desain pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Gedongtengen Yogyakarta. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik ketersediaan sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes dan kuesioner. Perbedaan hasil belajar IPS serta minat siswa belajar IPS antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol dianalisis dengan menggunakan t-test independen untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran IPS berbasis ICT dengan aplikasi Lectora Inspire. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan ICT aplikasi Lectora Inspire lebih tinggi daripada menggunakan buku teks (t = 9,226 dan p= 0,004< α= 0,05, (2) minat belajar siswa menggunakan ICT dengan aplikasi Lectora Inspire lebih tinggi daripada menggunakan buku teks (t= 7,098 dan p= 0,001 < α= 0,05 ).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya tingkat pemahaman siswa kelas V SD Ngangkrik Sleman Yogyakarta terhadap materi keanekaragaman budaya Indonesia pada mata pelajaran IPAS.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media Kotak Pintar Bergambar (KOPIBERGA) pada materi Keragaman Budaya Indonesia kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SD Ngangkrik Sleman Yogyakarta dengan jumlah siswa 25 anak dengan sampel penelitian 16 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KOPIBERGA dikembangkan untuk materi keberagaman budaya yang ada di Indonesia. Produk dikembangkan secara menarik, interaktif, dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik kelas V SD Ngangkrik Yogyakarta. Penggunaan media KOPIBERGA mata pelajaran IPAS efektif untuk digunakan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan kemampuan berpikir kritis materi keberagaman budaya Indonesia. Ditunjukkan pada nilai probabilitas uji T-Test output SPSS, terlihat bahwa Asymp. Sig. (2- tailed) atau bernilai 0,000. Karena nilai 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara data pre-test dan post-test. Ketuntasan KKM hasil post-test secara keseluruhan mencapai 100%. Produk KOPIBERGA mata pelajaran IPAS sangat layak berdasarkan hasil tanggapan peserta didik yang memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 88,5%. Dengan demikian KOPIBERGA efektif hasil belajar dan kreativitas siswa dalam memahami keanekaragaman budaya Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' creativity by applying Tri N teachings (niteni, niroake, nambahake) through social studies learning in elementary schools. The instruments used were observation sheets of the learning process and observation sheets or observation rubrics for the level of student creativity. While the interview technique is used to obtain data related to Tri N teachings to students. Students' creative attitudes were observed using the observation rubric. Tri N is one of the Tamansiswa teachings initiated by Ki Hajar Dewantara. The research method used is descriptive qualitative to describe Tri N learning in an effort to increase the creativity of class VI A students at SDN 2 Banjarpasar. While the data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and the creative attitude observation rubric. The data analysis technique used refers to Milles and Huberman which includes the process of data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research that has been done show that the application of Tri N teachings makes students have high creativity so that they can produce innovative and creative works.

Abstract

The use of technology provides significant benefits in learning because it can be used as a learning medium that provides meaningful learning experiences so that students can understand the correct concepts. Interactive multimedia learning media can now be developed using Android-based technology. This research aims to develop Android-based learning media on Hindu-Buddhist kingdom material for science and social subjects in class IV elementary school. The method used is research and development with a development model, namely 4-D. Validation results from experts show a feasibility level of 92% from material experts and 90% from media experts with a very feasible category. The results of the field trials showed that users felt interested and motivated to learn using media with responses given by users of 96% of students and 95% of teachers meaning that the product was very suitable for use for learning. Product effectiveness is obtained by testing the pret-test and post-test results and then calculated using the n-gain score and shows a high level of effectiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of the Ecoprint Flipbook E-Module based on the Tri-N (Niteni, Nirokke, Nambahi) integrated Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in science and science learning in 4th students elementary school. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature. The research subjects involved 27 students, consisting of 14 male students and 13 female students. Data was collected through interviews, observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The importance of the Ecoprint Flipbook E-Module helps students increase student motivation and creativity in learning science and science. The results of interviews with teachers show that students are motivated by implementing the Ecoprint Flipbook E-Module. Data analysis shows an increase in student motivation and creativity. The Ecoprint Flipbook e-Module has proven effective in increasing student motivation and creativity in elementary schools. The application of the Ecoprint Flipbook E-Module in science and science learning for 4th students elementary school students has had a positive impact because it is able to increase motivation and creativity in learning so that researchers recommend teachers and other researchers to use or adopt and perfect this module. Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the effects of implementing Project-Based Learning (PjBL) based on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) education on the development of critical thinking and entrepreneurship skills in elementary school students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, involving the principal and classroom teachers at Purwobinangun Primary School as informants. Data were collected through observation and documentation and analyzed using the Miles and Hubberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of STEAM-based PjBL significantly enhances students' critical thinking skills. Students are better able to identify problems, analyze information, and evaluate various solutions generated. Additionally, there is an improvement in students' abilities to solve complex problems, take risks, and innovate—skills essential for entrepreneurship. The learning process also encourages collaboration and teamwork, which are crucial in the business and entrepreneurial world.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the results of implementing the problem based learning (PBL) in terms of science lessons for 6th elementary school students. The research subjects were class 6th students at SD N 1 Sedayu, teachers and principals. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data analysis techniques include data collection, reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions as well as data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Science learning outcomes have increased from 58.7 before using the Media Augmented Reality to 82.7 after implementing Media Augmented Reality. Class completion increased from 45.8% to 83.3%. The results of interviews with students show that students feel happy in Media Augmented Reality learning. The results of interviews with teachers show that Media Augmented Reality can be a learning model to improve learning outcomes and student activity.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology from year to year makes an educator must be able to improve his abilities in the field of technology in the realm of education that has been worked on. Therefore, an educator must be able to combine the learning model that will be implemented with current technological developments so that student learning outcomes can improve. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SDN I Wonokerso in the 2023/2024 school year as many as 21 students where there were 9 female students and 12 male students. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of learning outcomes of grade V students by using the PJBL learning model integrated with TPACK. This is in line with research conducted by Tiok Setiawan that the PJBL learning model integrated with TPACK makes students active and in the learning process and learning outcomes increase. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Where data collection uses interviews and observations. This research shows that 91% of students have improved their learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that by using the PJBL learning model integrated with TPACK, the learning outcomes of grade V students in IPAS subjects increase, besides that students are also more active and enthusiastic in participating in the learning process.
