Abstract

Technological developments have made it possible for women to find mates online. One application that makes it possible to find matches online is Tinder. The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic has led to an increase in Tinder users and increased conversation duration. This increase was motivated by the boredom that was felt during the implementation of the PSBB. Proper self-disclosure is necessary so that communication runs smoothly and builds good relationships. This study aims to get an overview of self-disclosure among women users of online dating application Tinder during the COVID-19 pandemic by using a qualitative research method with a case study approach. In this study, respondents were five women who were active users of the Tinder online dating application during the COVID-19 pandemic. Data collection using interviews. The results showed that self-disclosure in women could be seen through several things: the limitations of communicating, the factors that influence the swiping process, and the Tinder bio's information.

Abstract

Assertiveness is the ability to express thoughts, feelings, needs, and desires with confidence that does not harm yourself or violate the rights of others. In college life, students do not just focus on academic activities but also non-academics, such as student organizations. When participating in organizations, students are faced with some situations that require assertiveness skills. Assertiveness can be influenced by two factors, including emotional intelligence and gender. This quantitative research aims to determine the role of emotional intelligence and gender on the assertiveness of Udayana University Medical Faculty students participating in student organizations. The subjects of this research were 120 students of Udayana University Medical Faculty students participating in student organizations. There are two measuring instruments used in this research, that are assertiveness scale and emotional intelligence scale. This research used analysis of covariance or ANOVA as data analysis technique. The results show the significance value on the corrected model is 0.000 (p <0,05). These results show that emotional intelligence and gender altogether contribute to the assertiveness of Udayana University Medical Faculty Students participating in student organizations.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji keefektifan Art Therapy dalam mengelola stres akademik pada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama di SMPK 1 Harapan Denpasar. Hipotesis penelitian yang diajukan adalah “Terapi Seni efektif untuk mengurangi dan mengelola tingkat Stres Akademik Siswa Sekolah Menengah”. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 69 siswa SMPK 1 Harapan Denpasar. Seluruh siswa kelas 9 SMPK 1 Harapan diberikan pre-test untuk mengukur tingkat stres akademik siswa. Rancangan eksperimen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-test dan post-test. Sebanyak 69 siswa kelas 9 di SMPK 1 Harapan terpilih untuk mengikuti pelatihan terapi seni. Post-test dilakukan setelah siswa diberikan pelatihan terapi seni. Diungkapkan bahwa tingkat stres siswa yang diberikan terapi seni mengalami penurunan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan ditemukan bahwa 46 dari 69 peserta (66,66%) mengalami penurunan skor stres akademik. Dari peserta yang mengalami penurunan skor stres akademik tersebut, sebanyak 58.7% peserta mengalami penurunan kategori stres akademik yaitu dari kategori sedang menjadi kategori rendah dan sangat rendah.

Abstract

The Special Needs Child Development Group is an educational service center for children with autism located in the PLA (Autism Service Center) Denpasar City. In the learning process, children with autism have special characteristics and characteristics in observing and responding to something and tend to capture information or learn faster by using visualization. One of the interesting ways to improve children's storytelling skills is to provide picture books. Because picture books have a visualization effect that can stimulate the eyes to enjoy the picture and understand the text that explains the picture. There are several important problems regarding visual media which consist of the need for alternative visual media products to train children's sensory which is still limited to seeing sensory stimuli, media that can train other sensory types such as audio, taste, and touch, Adjustment of Visual Media Products to psychological growth and development are needed. autistic children and locality characteristics of the types of visual media objects that are used as teaching materials do not characterize the regional environment in Indonesia because some of the visual media come from abroad. Visual media products for learning media can be in the form of books and types of interactive games with the aim of providing cognitive and motoric impact, with content that will be adapted to the psychological condition of the child, of course, by highlighting elements of local characteristics in the object design to facilitate the learning process for children with autism. In developing visual media products that are intended as learning media for autistic children, the method used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) which is a learning model based on which each phase of the implementation process produces learning stages designed with specific objectives The sustainability aspect of this PKM program is the development of advanced visual media products and the design of special facilities for autistic children. So that gradually the needs and access to better education can be obtained by all children with special needs on a city and regional scale.

Abstract

Autism is defined as a special behavior that affects a person in communicating or interacting with other people or certain objects. There are varying degrees of autism, but some of the common behaviors associated with this disability include poor motor skills, speech delays, difficulties with skills such as reasoning, and very narrow interests. The Growth and Development Group for Children with Special Needs is an educational service for children with special needs in Denpasar City. Currently, almost all facilities are available in PLA, but outdoor facilities in the form of sensory gardens are not yet available. Therefore, partners want to provide a sensory garden to meet the educational needs of children with special needs and until now it is still difficult to find expertise to design this special garden. There are several problems that are summarized related to the procurement of this sensory park, namely the limitations of available land, the ideal sensory garden design and calculation of the estimated cost of sensory garden realization. By using the design method and approach to the needs of children with special needs, psychological aspects and sensory sensitivity are the main things in the preparation of this sensory garden design. Seeing these obstacles, it is necessary to design an ideal sensory garden, because PLA wants to realize this park and get funding from the government for the sustainability and educational needs of students with special needs.
