Abstract

One of the policies that impact perceived economic actors in Indonesia, especially in the plantation agriculture sector is the policy of fiscal policy determination of the Value Added Tax of 10% of local transactions, especially cocoa beans and cocoa export tax exemption to foreign countries, processed cocoa export tax by 30% and processed cocoa import tax of 5%. Assessment is made ??considering one of the driving factors is the dominant market of cocoa beans is the overseas market. It can spur international trade, especially cocoa products which will increase foreign exchange, can also be a source of employment especially in the country and also increase the income of the people (farmers and businessmen) who are involved in agribusiness cocoa. However, the impact of this policy will be re-perceived economic actors involved in agribusiness cocoa if cacao products from Indonesia to compete in international markets

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pemberdayaan petani melalui READSI di kecamatan Teluk Keramat. Penelitian menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan bersumber dari petani READSI sebagai data primer dan sekunder bersumber dari Dinas pertanian Sambas, BPP Teluk Keramat dan instansi lainnya. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah analisis skala Guttman. Secara umum hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan program READSI di kecamatan Teluk Keramat terdiri dari komponen Pengembangan Pertanian dan Penghidupan Pedesaan Pengorganisasian masyarakat 16,2%, pertanian dan mata pencaharian 100,0%, simpan pinjam dan pengelolaan keuangan 100,0%, promosi perbaikan gizi 8,1%; Peningkatan layanan konsultasi, kontribusi dan pemasaran: peningkatan 0,0% dalam layanan penasihat pertanian, peningkatan 0,0% dalam lembaga keuangan, peningkatan 0,0% dalam layanan kesehatan hewan dan produksi hewan. Kegiatan pemberdayaan petani melalui kegiatan program READSI di kecamatan Teluk Keramat yakni pelaksanaan kegiatan: 1) Sekolah Lapang (SL) meliputi kehadiran SL 100,0%, ketepatan waktu peserta SL 77,0%, kejelasan materi yang disampaikan pemateri 68,9%, dan penguasaan materi yang diberikan 73,0%; 2) Bimbingan Lanjutan meliputi kegiatan pertemuaan pada awal musim tanam 100,00%, pertemuan pada pertengahan musim tanam 100,00%, pertemuan sebelum panen 60,9%, dan pertemuan setelah panen 100,00%; 3) Penyerahan bantuan bersubsidi dalam operasi bantuan bersubsidi 70% milik READSI, 30% oleh petani 66,2%

Abstract

Demand for Robusta coffee is increasing every year, but this situation is not matched with the amount of its availability. This raises problems, especially those related to guaranteeing continuity of coffee quality, limited supply availability, and timeliness of sales. Therefore, this study aims to identify the structure of the Robusta coffee supply chain and analyze the efficiency of the Robusta coffee supply chain performance in Kubu Raya Regency. The method used to identify the structure of the supply chain is descriptive analysis, while the DEA method is used to analyze the efficiency of the members performance of the supply chain. The results indicate that the structure of the supply chain consists of farmers, collectors, wholesalers, and retailers. Overall, the results of the performance efficiency measurement show that the performance of the Robusta coffee supply chain is efficient. However, there are still 4 farmers and 1 trader with inefficient performance, namely DMU1,2,6, and 7 at the farmer level, while at the trader level it is in DMU 5. Therefore, improvements are needed to improve the performance of the supply chain actors by reducing the variable input and increasing the output variable

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) sebagai kewajiban yang harus dilakukan perusahaan kelapa sawit terhadap lingkungan sosial atau masyarakat disekitar perusahan sesuai dengan pasal 74 undang-undang nomor 40 tahun 2007 tentang perseroan terbatas. CSR juga menjadi strategi bagi perusahaan untuk membangun reputasi perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis persepsi masyarakat terhadap implementasi CSR PT. Mitra Aneka Rezeki. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan motode observasi dan wawancara dengan kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan skala likert, penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Mitra Aneka Rezeki Kubu Raya, Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Responden dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 45 responden yang dihitung menggunakan rumus slovin, berasal dari tujuh desa binaan di sekitar PT Mitra Aneka Rezeki Kubu Raya yakni Desa Arus Deras, Sungai Deras, Pinang Luar, Pinang Dalam, Air Putih, Ambawang, dan Kampung Baru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat terhadap implementasi CSR adalah baik.

Abstract

Kubu Raya Regency is the fourth largest producer of processed fish in West Kalimantan. Business actors generally pay less attention to things that will affect product quality. Processed fish products have quality problems such as decreased quality during storage, microbial contamination during the salting process, use of chemicals, unpleasant odors, and deviations from industry standards. Business actors who can produce highly competitive products have three criteria: products that are available regularly and continuously, products of excellent and uniform quality, and widely available products. Improving product quality products is an excellent way to maintain customer loyalty, have the resilience to compete, and build sustainable growth and profits. This study aims to formulate a quality strategy for processed fishery products in Sungai Kakap District. The study was conducted in April 2024, with ten respondents of processed fish product business actors. The variables used are quality control indicators consisting of performance, completeness, reliability, durability, and service capabilities, which are then analyzed using a SWOT matrix. The study results show that processed fish product business actors in Sungai Kakap District are in quadrant two. Quadrant two shows that business actors can take advantage of existing external opportunities to overcome their internal weaknesses. The strategies developed in this quadrant focus on ways to improve internal weaknesses by taking advantage of opportunities in the external environment to ensure that business actors can improve their overall position and be better prepared to face future challenges.

Abstract

Consumer behavior is behavior exhibited by people in terms of planning, buying and using economic goods and services. Fruit is a horticultural product that has bright prospects so that it can be developed as a source of economic growth in the agricultural sector.  The CoronaVIrus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) lpandemic lhas lchanged many things such as cleanliness, health and changing human consumption patterns. lSince the lCovid-19 lpandemic entered lIndonesia, the fruits consumption campaign has continued to be intensified. Pontianak City is a city that enforces Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM). Seeing this situation, it is necessary to further investigate how consumer behavior towards purchasing fruits during emergency PPKM. The ldata in lthis study was lsecondary ldata with 133 respondents netted by purposive lsampling lmethod. The lvariables in lthis lstudyl are Cultural, Social, Personal and Psychological. Based on lthe lresults of research using factor analysis, it lcan be concluded lthat the lfactors that influenced consumer behavior towards purchasing fruits during the Imposition of Emergency Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) in Pontianak City consisted of 4 factors namely 4 in 1, Psychological, Individual, and Reference and Family. The most dominant factor is the Universal Factor. The indicators included in this factor are Geographic Area, Role and Status, Occupation, Perception, and Confidence and Establishment.

Abstract

Tujuan penellitian ini adalah Menganalisis pendapatan dan kelayakan usahatani lada di Desa Mayak Kecamatan Seluas Kabupaten Bengkayang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, di mana data primer dan sekunder dikumpulkan dari petani dan sumber terkait. Analisis pendapatan dan R/C Ratio digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan usahatani lada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usahatani lada di daerah tersebut mengalami kerugian rata-rata sebesar Rp -38.845.694 per hektar per musim tanam. Nilai R/C rasio sebesar 0,44 mengindikasikan bahwa usahatani ini tidak layak secara ekonomi untuk dilanjutkan karena tidak memberikan keuntungan yang memadai.

Abstract

Ginger is a medicinal plant with numerous uses across traditional industries, food sectors, and as an export commodity. Although ginger production in West Kalimantan reached 3,805.89 tons in 2022, this figure remains below the national average of 7,278.10 tons. Ginger farmers face various risks, including beetle pest attacks and rhizome rot diseases, leading to production fluctuations. This study aims to analyze the impact of farmers' behavior in facing production risks on the level of ginger production. The analysis was conducted using a production function regression with dummy variables representing farmers' behaviors, categorized into three groups: risk takers, risk neutral, and risk averters. The results indicate that farmers categorized as risk takers have 142.1% higher ginger production compared to risk averters, while risk-neutral farmers have 73.6% higher production. These findings demonstrate that farmers' behavior in managing production risks significantly influences ginger production levels.

Abstract

Indonesia is the country with the second highest level of food waste in the world and the first in Southeast Asia. Therefore, Indonesia has the highest Global Hunger Index in Southeast Asia, second only to Timor Leste. This condition has continued to increase over the last twenty years compared to food loss. Therefore, Indonesia is increasingly vulnerable to food shortages. Food waste needs to be minimized to help meet future food needs. The aim of this research is to identify the factors that underlie consumer behavior in wasting food. Interviews were conducted with 273 respondents, especially in West Kalimantan, Indonesia.  The collected data was then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through the AMOS 24 program. The findings in this research show that the five factors underlying consumer behavior, namely: food choices, shopping routines, food handling, waste prevention behavior, and recycling behavior have a negative effect. and significant to the amount of food waste. This means that, the better the food choices, shopping routines, food handling, waste prevention behavior, and recycling behavior, the smaller the amount of food waste produced. Other findings show that waste prevention behavior has the greatest influence on food waste. Efforts that consumers can make to reduce the amount of food waste at the household level are by increasing knowledge about good food choices, improving skills in processing and storing food, and committing to making a list of needs before shopping and complying with it.

Abstract

Jahe merupakan satu diantara komoditas yang diklasifikasikan ke dalam tanaman biofarmaka dengan jumlah produksi dan luas lahan panen terbesar di Indonesia dan masih tidak dapat digantikan oleh tanaman biofarmaka lainnya. Desa Teluk Empening Kecamatan Terentang merupakan sentra penghasil jahe terbesar di Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Dalam tiga tahun terakhir jumlah produksi jahe yang diperoleh terus mengalami peningkatan, baik permintaan dalam negeri maupun luar negeri. Semakin meningkatnya permintaan jahe pada kenyataan bahwa usahatani harus memiliki daya saing. Sehingga, tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis daya saing komoditas jahe di Kabupaten Kubu Raya dengan menggunakan analisis Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa usahatani jahe memiliki daya saing yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien PCR 1 yakni 0,19 yang artinya usahatani jahe memiliki keunggulan kompetitif dan nilai koefisien DRCR 1 yakni 0,21 yang berarti usahatani jahe memiliki keunggulan komparatif.
