Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the factors that affect the voluntary transfer of auditorsat manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). Thepopulation in this study is the financial statements of manufacturing companieslisted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2011-2016. Thenumber of manufacturing companies sampled in this research is 30 observationcompanies obtained by the method of purposive sampling. Data analysistechnique used is logistic regression analysis with SPSS. Based on the analysis,the result of the research shows that audit opinion variable, company growth,KAP size, and change of management have significant influence on companysample to perform voluntary auditor switching.Keywords: audit opinion, company growth, KAP size, change of management,voluntary auditing switching

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to analyze the effect of DER (Debt to Equity Ratio), ROA (Return on Asset), and FirmSize to Firm Value (study on the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange period 2013-2015). The population on this research is all the manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchangeon period from 2013-2015. The samples used were 58 manufacturing companies. The Samples of this researchis based on purposive sampling, means that the samples were taken by certain criteria. the analytical methodused on this research is multiple regression analysis, F-test and T-test. The result on this research showing thatvariable DER, ROA, and firm Size have significantly influence to variable Firm value.Keyword : Debt to Equity ratio, Return On Asset, Firm Size, Firm Value

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe principle of real autonomy is a principle that to deal with governmentalaffairs is carried out based on the tasks, authorities, and obligations that actuallyexist and have the potential to grow and develop in accordance with the potentialand uniqueness of the region. Thus the content and type of autonomy for eachregion is not always the same as other areas. The definition of responsibleautonomy is the autonomy whose implementation must be completely in line withthe objectives and intent of granting autonomy, which is basically to empower theregion including improving the welfare of the people which is a major part of thenational goal. Along with that principle the implementation of regional autonomyshould always be oriented towards improving the welfare of the community byalways paying attention to the interests and aspirations that grow in society.Keywords: Village Government, Public Policy Implementation, Village FundAllocation

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to examine the pecking order theory in explainingthe preferences of corporate funding decisions. This research was conducted onIslamic companies listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. Thisresearch sample was determined by purposive sampling method. This study usesmultiple linear regression models. The results of this study conclude thatProfitability has a significant positive effect on leverage. Company size (Size)has a significant positive effect on leverage. And The Investment Opportunity Setdo not have a significant effect on leverage.Keywords: Profitability, Company size (Size), Investment Opportunity SetLeverage.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe multidimensional crisis, especially the economic crisis that hit Indonesia in mid-1997, gave rise to the concept of Good Corporate Governance. As a result of this crisis occurred when many companies fell because they were unable to maintain their business continuity. In this globalization era, a company must have the ability to carry out its business activities in a clean, healthy and ethical manner. Therefore, in realizing the concept of Good Corporate Governance, it is necessary to implement an effective internal system and business ethics.The results of this study indicate that the principles of Good Corporate Governance have been applied well to PT. BNI (Persero), Tbk East Java Distribution Malang Branch Office. The problems that are placed by the company are: “How is the implementation of Good Corporate Governance for employees”. The problem steps taken by the company are to implement effective Good Corporate Governance which includes the main principles of Good Corporate Governance, including: transparency, responsibility, independence, equality and accountability. In addition, the company also applies business ethics in its corporate environment.Based on the discussion of these problems, the suggestions that can be put forward, among others, should PT. BNI (Persero), Tbk Distribution East Java Malang Branch Office takes concrete steps in implementing a Good Corporate Governance system for employee management, and always socializes the meaning of Good Corporate Governance at every opportunity. Keywords : Good Corporate Governance, Internal Control System, Business Ethics

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of emotional intelligence and confidence on the level of accounting understanding both simultaneously and partially. This type of research is correlational research, research that is intended to measure the degree of closeness of relationships between variables. The population in this study includes final-level accounting students of the Faculty of Economics and Business majoring in Accounting semester 8 of the class of 2017 from the Islamic University of Malang and Widyagama University of Malang. The data collection method used in this study is a survey with a questionnaire.The outcome of this study shows that: 1) Emotional Intelligence and Confidence simultaneously affect the Level of Accounting Understanding. 2) Emotional Intelligence has no partial effect on the Level of Accounting Understanding. 3) Confidence partially positively affects the Level of Accounting Understanding..Keywords: emotional intelligence, confidence, and accounting comprehension level.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze “the influence of the presentation of regional financial statements and the accessibility of regional financial statements on the transparency and accountability of regional financial management in Malang City and Malang Regency”. The sample in this study were active employees of the Malang city and district government as users of financial reports presented by local governments, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The municipal government employees who are the respondents are the Budget and Treasury Division, Accounting and Regional Asset Management Division and Regional Asset Utilization Division and have worked for more than 1 year. The analytical method used is Multiple Linear Regression with SPSS 22 Software For Windows. Based on the results of the hypothesis test that simultaneously Presentation of Regional Financial Statements and Accessibility of Regional Financial Statements have a positive and significant effect on Transparency & Accountability of Regional Financial Management in Malang City and Malang Regency. Partially, it shows that the Presentation of Regional Financial Statements and Accessibility of Regional Financial Statements have a positive and significant effect on Transparency & Accountability of Regional Financial Management in Malang City and Malang Regency.Keywords: Presentation of Regional Financial Reports, Accessibility of Regional Financial Reports, Transparency & Accountability of Regional Financial Management

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a distinctionbetween accountants educators, public accountants and accountants student toethical codes Indonesian Accountants Association (IAI). Sampling in this researchis by using purposive sampling with criteria including: (1) accountant educatorshave the profession of teaching staff (lecturers) high educated Malang IslamicUniversity and the State University of Malang, (2) auditors working as partners /associates, managers, auditors senior, junior auditors and the staff in the office ofthe Public Accountant in Malang, (3) students S1 the Islamic University ofMalang, in the study are students who have taken auditing. Ethical Principlesconsists of elements that eight: responsibilities of the profession, the publicinterest, integrity, objectivity, competence and prudence, confidentiality,professional behavior, technical standards. This study uses primary data wherethe data was collected through questionnaires deployment to several publicaccounting firm, Faculty of Economics, Malang Islamic University, andUniversity of Malang in Malang. In this study, the population is a publicaccountant, accountant educator, and student accounting. It can be concludedthat of the eight ethical principles of the three variables show that there aredistinction in perception between educators accountants, public accountants andaccountants student to ethical codes Indonesian Accountants Association (IAI).Factor knowledge. Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of gender and education level on the ethical perception of a student with love of money as an intervening variable. This type of research is quantitative research. The data used in this study are primary data. Respondents were 100 students at the Malang Islamic University and the Malang State Polytechnic using a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the gender variable has an effect on love of money. and also the results of this study indicate that love of money affects the ethical perception of accounting studentsKeywords: gender, education level, ethical perception, love of money.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain, determine the effect of organizational ethical culture, ethical orientation, on ethical sensitivity to the performance of local government agencies. The case study in this research is the Mojokerto district work unit. The sample of this study used a purposive sampling method and the sample used in this study was 35 respondents. This study used multiple regression analysis using quantitative methods. The results of this study simultaneously variable organizational ethical culture (X1), ethical orientation variable (X2) and ethical sensitivity variable (Y) simultaneously have a positive effect on the performance of Local Government AgenciesKeyword: norms, ethics, organizational ethical culture, ethical orientation, ethical sensitivity.
