Abstract

Apis Dorsata Binghami is a honey bee that is often found in the forest, which is conserved by the community, but there are also honey bees that are just left alone; the community preserves these honey bees because their honey can be traded and can also be used as medicine. This study aims to determine the plants that are a feed source for Apis Dorsata Binghami in the Pinabetengan Forest, Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted in June-August 2022. The data collected came from field survey data using descriptive methods and identified plant species with values of Reactive Density (KR), Relative Frequency (FR), Relative Dominance (DR), and Index Significant Value (INP). Plant diversity as a food source for Apis Dorsata Binghami has different types of plants based on their habitus or the characteristics of the plants themselves.

Abstract

The use of pesticides on highland vegetable crops by farmers is considered highly intensive. This is primarily due to favorable climatic conditions for developing plant pests and diseases. Pesticides are toxic bioactive chemical substances (at concentrations > 0.5 ppm). Each of these poisons carries risks to the environment and humans in their use. Pesticide residues are specific substances found in agricultural food crops or animal feed, either as a direct or indirect result of pesticide use. This research aims to determine the presence of pesticide residues in potatoes cultivated by the community of Moat Subdistrict, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive approach with laboratory experimentation. Representative samples were taken from ten potato plantations in Moat Subdistrict, East Bolaang Mongondow villages. They were then analyzed at the Laboratory of Plant Protection and Quality Testing. Based on the research findings, the researchers concluded that six locations of potato tubers in 10 villages in Moat Subdistrict, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency, did not contain pesticides. In comparison, the remaining four locations showed pesticide content.

Abstract

This study seeks to ascertain the extent of student discipline in relation to their study habits and examine its impact on enhancing student academic performance. The research methodology employs a correlational design to ascertain the correlation between discipline and study habits in order to enhance the academic performance of class XII students at SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. The population consisted of 46 pupils, and the sample was obtained by a random sampling procedure or by random selection. Random sampling is a technique for selecting samples in a random manner, ensuring that every member of the population has an equal chance of being chosen. The sample size in this study comprised 30 students. The findings of the research, which employed descriptive statistical analysis, indicate that the mean student discipline score is 33.13, the student study habits score is 30.43, and the mean student learning score is 90.6. The research findings, obtained through the use of Pearson product-moment correlation, indicate that the value of rcount is greater than rtable for a sample size of 30, specifically 0.394. If rcount > rtable, it indicates that discipline has an impact on the study habits and learning outcomes of class XII students at SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. If the count of r (rcount) is greater than the count of r in the table (rtable), the null hypothesis (HO) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted, according to the proposed research hypothesis. Discipline exerts a substantial impact on the study habits and academic achievements of twelfth-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Tondano.

Abstract

Information technology has played an important role in the business and industrial environment. The suitability of the competence of graduates of information technology graduates and competency standards in the industry is a problem that is quite complicated to explore. The purpose of this study was to analyze the suitability of the undergraduate-level information technology curriculum with the competency map required by the industry which is always developing rapidly in the industrial era 4.0. This study also tries to recommend an information technology curriculum restructuring model with an independent campus learning approach. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a traditional literature review approach that specifically analyzes documents in depth to gain new knowledge. The results of this study indicate that there is a large gap between the education process at the undergraduate level in the competencies students acquire and the occupations provided by industry which results in many undergraduate graduates not being absorbed by industry. The results of this study also show that the independent approach to independent campus learning is also not enough to bridge this gap because several stages do not go well. This study concludes that a comprehensive restructuring of the undergraduate curriculum is needed to obtain a curriculum that is good and adaptive to change.
