Abstract

Unlike most media that feature audiovisuals, radio relies solely on audio to connect with its listeners. Therefore, the role of a broadcaster becomes crucial, as only the broadcaster's voice is present in the listener's ear. This article aims to describe the role of the broadcaster in presenting the Numpang Nampang program, making it one of the flagship programs on RRI Meulaboh. The article uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data were obtained from observations and interviews with the broadcasters of the Numpang Nampang program on RRI Meulaboh. The results of this study indicate that the broadcaster plays a vital role in presenting the Numpang Nampang program, making it a popular and attractive program. This is evidenced by the broadcaster's awareness and various preparations made before presenting the program, such as searching for information and selecting sources. Additionally, broadcasters possess good skills or professionalism, enabling them to present the Numpang Nampang program in a relaxed manner and use word choices that are compatible with the listeners.Abstrak: Berbeda dengan kebanyakan media yang menampilkan audiovisual, Radio hanya mengandalkan audio untuk menyapa para pendengarnya. Oleh karena itu, peran seorang penyiar menjadi sangat penting karena hanya suara penyiarlah yang hadir pada telinga pendengar. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang peran penyiar dalam membawakan program Numpang Nampang hingga menjadi salah satu program unggulan di RRI Meulaboh. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan wawancara kepada penyiar program Numpang Nampang di RRI Meulaboh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penyiar berperan penting dalam membawakan program Numpang Nampang hingga menjadi program yang populer dan menarik. Hal ini dibuktikan dari kesadaran yang dimiliki sang penyiar serta berbagai persiapan yang dilakukan sebelum membawakan program seperti mencari informasi dan pemilihan narasumber. Di samping itu penyiar juga memiliki kemampuan atau profesionalitas yang baik sehingga dapat membawakan program Numpang Nampang dengan santai dan menggunakan pilihan kata yang kompatibel dengan para pendengarnya.

Abstract

The development of information media in line with global advancements has facilitated access to communication and the exchange of information for individuals worldwide. Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI), as a public broadcasting medium, has adapted to the changing media landscape through the implementation of the RRI Play Go application. This study aims to analyze the development and implementation of RRI Play Go, focusing on RRI Meulaboh. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, involving direct observation and interviews with RRI Meulaboh employees. The findings reveal that RRI Play Go, as a digital radio platform, provides user-friendly features such as location-based broadcasts, access to educational content, live streaming, and interactive communication. Media convergence, facilitated by digitalization, has enabled RRI Meulaboh to maintain its relevance, expand its reach, and continue its mission of providing informative and educational content to the public.

Abstract

The use of technology in the digital era is currently growing. The movement of newspaper news print media has now shifted to packaging news online through mass media platforms. The current digital era is very influential on the dissemination of information via offline and online which can be accessed quickly anytime and anywhere. This study aims to determine the media strategy used by Harian Serambi Indonesia in maintaining the print edition in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis research method with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The author found the results of this study regarding the strategy undertaken by Harain Serambi Indonesia to maintain the print edition in the digital era, namely by increasing the quality of the layout or appearance of the newspaper so that it looks more attractive with the accuracy of the news compared to online news. The choice of interesting content has also made the Serambi Indonesia Daily exist today by publishing accurate and reliable news, so that Aceh's readers' interest remains the greatest. Even though the Serambi Indonesia daily print media is now considered extinct by some groups, the Serambi newspaper is still needed by many people and continues to exist in the current era of technological development.Penggunaan teknologi di era digital saat ini semakin berkembang. Perpindahan media cetak berita     koran saat ini sudah beralih kepada pengemasan berita secara online melalui platform media massa. Era serba digital saat ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap penyebaran informasi melalui offline dan online secara cepat dapat diakses kapan saja dan dimana saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi media yang digunakan Harian Serambi Indonesia dalam mempertahankan edisi cetak di era digital.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Penulis menemukan hasil dari penelitian ini mengenai strategi      yang dilakukan oleh Harain Serambi Indonesia untuk mempertahakan edisi cetak di era digital yaitu dengan  meningkatkan kualitas Lay-out atau perwajahan koran agar terlihat lebih menarik dengan keakuratan berita dibandingkan dengan berita online. Pemilihan konten yang menarik juga menjadikan Harian Serambi Indonesia tetap eksis dimasa sekarang dengan memuat berita akurat dan terpercaya, sehingga minat pembaca tetap terbanyak di Aceh. Meskipun media cetak Harian Serambi Indonesia sekarang telah dianggap punah oleh sebagian kalangan, akan tetapi koran serambi tetap masih dibutuhkan oleh banyak orang dan tetap eksis di era perkembangan teknologi saat ini.

Abstract

The transition from analog television broadcasting to digital is a form of carrying out the mandate of Article 60 A of Law Number 32 of 2002 concerning broadcasting, which as has been changed to Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning work copyright. This study aims to analyze the communication strategy used by the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) Aceh in the program to switch television broadcasts from analog to digital. Technological progress is felt today, therefore it is necessary to have the right communication strategy, especially in the development of broadcasting technology. This study uses Lasswell's communication model theory in the process, with this study using a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations and additional data as a complement.Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) Aceh as the object of research. The results of this study explain, the role of KPI Aceh in the digital television migration project is an effort to socialize. Until now, socialization has been carried out directly, online or through internet media. The right socialization strategy will have a good impact on the progress of the nation.

Abstract

AbstrakAbstrak. Kebebasan masyarakat dalam memperoleh informasi telah diatur oleh negara yang terdapat pada peraturan pemerintah No 61 Tahun 2009 tentang keterbukaan informasi. Mengenai hak dan tanggung jawab serta kewajiban masyarakat dan penyelenggaraan negara telah diatur secara berimbang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas SP4N LAPOR, faktor pendukung dan penghambat penggunaan SP4N LAPOR( Layanan Aspirasi dan Pengaduan Online Rakyat) di kalangan masyarakat dan Pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Karya tulis ini merupakan hasil analisis pada Program Magang Mahasiswa yang dilaksanakan selama satu semester (6 bulan), dimulai bulan Februari hingga Agustus 2021. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei sebagai studi deskriptif (pendekatan kualitatif). Lokasi magang dilaksanakan pada Dinas Komunikasi, Informatika dan Persandian Kabupaten Aceh Barat (Diskominsa). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SP4N LAPOR  dapat memberikan edukasi dan menjadikan masyarakat yang terbuka dan kritis. Abstract

Kemiskinan masih menjadi salah satu tantangan pembangunan di Kabupaten Nagan Raya, yang di-tunjukkan oleh tingkat kemiskinan masih berada di atas rata-rata Provinsi Aceh dan nasional. Kondi-si ini memerlukan upaya penguatan tata kelola penanggulangan kemiskinan melalui perencanaan yang terarah, terintegrasi, dan berbasis data. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mendampingi Pemerintah Kabupaten Nagan Raya dalam penyusunan Rencana Penanggulangan Kemiskinan Dae-rah (RPKD) Tahun 2025–2029 sebagai instrumen perencanaan penanggulangan kemiskinan daerah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan pendampingan partisipatif yang meliputi identifikasi permasalahan dan analisis situasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan konsultasi pemangku kepentingan, pendampingan penyusunan dokumen, serta validasi dan finalisasi dokumen. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa proses pendampingan berhasil menghasilkan Dokumen RPKD Kabupaten Nagan Raya Tahun 2025–2029 yang memuat profil kemiskinan daerah, isu strategis, tujuan dan sasaran, strategi, serta program prioritas penanggulangan kemiskinan. Selain menghasilkan dokumen perencanaan, kegiatan ini juga memperkuat koordinasi antar perangkat dae-rah, pemanfaatan data dalam proses perencanaan, dan sinergi lintas sektor. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini tidak hanya menghasilkan dokumen perencanaan daerah, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada penguatan tata kelola penanggulangan kemiskinan melalui peningkatan koordinasi antarperangkat daerah, pemanfaatan data dalam proses perencanaan, dan penguatan sinergi lintas sektor di Kabupat-en Nagan Raya

Abstract

In today's digital age, information advancement has become critical for society's well-being. Misinformation, when disseminated, can have negative impacts and even turn into a disaster for the public. Therefore, it is crucial for reporters and journalists in the media to possess the intelligence to conduct research, analyze, interpret, and deconstruct from a journalistic perspective. This will enable aspiring reporters to effectively utilize media (tools) such as print, electronic, and internet to meet human needs, particularly when navigating the challenges of new media. Therefore, the goal of this training program for aspiring reporters is to equip communication science students with the skills necessary to become creative and innovative writers who can effectively convey information to the public. The benefits of this training are to produce individual reporters who are capable of providing sharp and critical arguments regarding news and able to absorb information from various public channels. A critical attitude towards issues and emerging problems is needed, handled with wisdom and prudence, not easily swayed by negative opinions. The goal is for aspiring reporters to gain a clear understanding of ideas and concepts through precise, thorough writing, and to possess a brilliant conscience towards the perspective of events. This training utilizes lecture and question-answer methods. As a result, aspiring reporters can generate and convey high-quality writing that conveys information or news about the atmosphere or conditions of events, enabling platform users (media) to understand rumors and news that reporters format and disseminate to a broader audience.

Abstract

The importance of guidance on writing scientific articles for students which is carried out based on field research and analysis, in order to improve their competence as campus people. The purpose of this service is to understand and have the ability to write scientific papers for students of UIN Ar-Raniry and University of Teuku Umar (UTU). This guidance is carried out on the basis of students' lack of ability to produce scientific articles that can inspire the public. The advantages that can be obtained from these contributions are considered to arouse talent, interest, and enthusiasm as well as the enthusiasm of academic people to work. After conducting guidance on student productivity as an effort to develop intelligence to produce written works, also at least students are increasingly motivated to work to realize the ethics and personality of insightful undergraduates on campus. In this condition, it was seen that the guidance students (participants) were very enthusiastic about carrying out the assignments given by the resource persons. The assignments and exercises given complete the scientific articles of each participant. Enriching scientific knowledge in the form of articles for journals and books as a standard for a university graduate.

Abstract

The urgency of socialization is the participation of the community, individuals and groups to participate together, according to the objectives of the socialization to convey knowledge and information to the public so that they understand and follow according to the wishes of the stakeholders. The socialization of the advantages of Teuku Umar University for students was carried out in order to provide an understanding of the progress and achievements of Teuku Umar University (UTU) after it was declared state by President Susilo Bambang Yudoyono (SBY) eight years ago. This socialization was carried out considering how students received reports on the success of UTU with the best achievements. Participation obtained from the socialization of campus excellence encourages and fosters the desires and talents of students to continue their education at UTU. The completion of the socialization is expected for students to have aspirations and prepare themselves and invite friends to register at UTU. This dissemination was enthusiastically attended by students from South West Aceh (Barsela). The presenter uses the method of communication plus interactive discussion/dialogue and asks several questions to the students. This communication procedure uses infocus and LCD facilities, the strategy is to display material through slides that are presented by showing various UTU excellence programs that have been achieved, as well as showing videos of the successes that have been achieved by UTU as a campus of pride for the people of West South Aceh.

Abstract

The Ministry of Religions' success indicator for religious advice is reflected in the level of the community's satisfaction index with the performance of the head of the KUA in providing an excellent service to the community. For this reason, it is important to promote academic work for the headmen that is the result of researching or studying Islamic marriage law, developing the headmen, or improving the services of the KUA in areas related to the headmen. The results achieved through this community service activity are fostering the talents and interests of the headmen in writing and the creativity in improving their writing skills, at least encouraging them to write as a Muslim intellectual tradition. As evidence, there were several headmen who submit assignments in the form of scientific writing for guidance. In addition, the results of this activity add to the nuances and insights of the headmen in writing and learn how to write scientific writing techniques in the form of journals and books as a link between society and government and vice versa.
