Abstract

The Effect of different Levels of Liquid Organic Fertilizer of Genetika Plus and different Spacing on Growth and Production of Elephantgrass Biomass (Pennisetum purpureum). Supervised by Muhammad Mukhtar as main supervised and Musrifah Nusi as vice supervised.The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the level of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) of Genetika Plus and different spacing on the growth and production of elephantgrass biomass (Pennisetum purpureum). This research was conducted in Tamboo Sub-District Tilongkabila, Bone Bolango District, from April to June 2018. The method used in this study is Factorial RAL with two factors. Data were analyzed using analysis of varian. The results showed that under fertilizer treatment and plant spacing had a significantly effect on the growth and production of biomass. The highest plant height was obtained in R3K2 (397 cm) and the lowest in R0K3 (210 cm), the highest tillering production was in R3K3 (7.5) and the lowest was in R0K1 (3.5). Whereas biomass production, the highest in fresh matter weight was obtained in R3K1 (29,076) and the lowest in R0K3 (1,638), the highest leaf blade percentage obtained in R3K1 (38,519) and the lowest in R0K1 (14), the highest dry matter weight was obtained in R3K1 (494) and lowest in R0K3 (27.75). Based on the research, the level of genetics plus liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) and plant spacing has a significantly effected on the growth of elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum) on plant height, fresh matter production, leaf blade percentage, dry matter production and number of tillers.Key words: Biomass production, elephantgrass, Genetika plus fertilyzer, plant spacing

Abstract

This research was aimed to determine the effect of beef fertilizer on growth and biomass production in some corn hybrid varieties (Zea mays). This research used completely randomized design factorial 6 x 4 with four replications. The first factor is the corn hybrid varieties were V1 (Bisi-2), V2 (Bisi-16), V3 (Bisi-222), V4 (Nk-212), V5 (Pertiwi-2), V6 (Pacific-224), and the second factor was the level of beef fertilizer were P0 (0 ton/ha), P1 (20 ton/ha), P2 (30 tons/ha), P3 (40 tons/ha). The parameters measured were growth of plant height, the fresh water production and leaf blade percentage of corn hybrid varieties. The results showed that the variety and level of treatment of fertilizer was highly significant effected (P0,01) to the plant high, the fresh water production and leaf blade percentage corn hybrid varieties. Interaction factor were significant effected (P0.05) to the fresh water production, whereas in the growth of plant high and leaf blade percentage did not effected (P0.05). Each treatment was getting the best results in plant height at V2P3 (224 cm), fresh water production at V4P3 (5234 g/plot) and leaf blade percentage at V4P2 (35.35%).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui jalur distribusi pemasaran, Margin keuntungan tiap lembaga pemasaran dan nilai efisensi pemasaran sapi potong dimasa pandemi covid-19. Penelitain ini di laksanakan di Kecamatan Asparaga, Tolangohula, Boliyohuto, Mootilango, dan di Kecamatan Pulubala, pada bulan September-November 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa jalur distribusi pemasaran pada masa pandemi terdapat 2 (Dua) jalur distribusi pemasaran yang secara langsung dan 3 (Tiga) jalur distribusi yang tidak secara langsung. Margin pada masa pandemi yaitu jalur distribusi I Rp.0, jalur distribusi II Rp. 3.000.000, jalur distribusi III Rp. 6.000.000, jalur distribusi IV Rp. 4.000.000, jalur distribusi V Rp. 4.000.000. Tingkat efisiensi pemasaran pada masa pandemi jalur distribusi pemasaran  yang  paling efisien adalah jalur distribusi pemasaran tipe I yakni  0,5%, dan jalur distribusi pemasaran V yakni 0,05%,  dan lainnya tidak efisien. Terdapat 2 jalur pemasaran di masa pandemic Covid yakni jalur pemasaran langsung dan tidak langsung, dan jalur pemasaran lansung memiliki tingkat efisen yang baik, sedangkan yang lainnya tidak efisien.

Abstract

Elephantgrass of the odot variety has a fast harvest period and is able to regrow quickly after defoliation. Bisi-16 maize variety has high production of biomass, crude protein and digestibility of feed. The experimental plots were arranged in a block design of latin square method at 4 treatments of planting density and 4 replications for each planting density. The planting density used for the elephantgrass variety of odot were high density (H), namely H1 = 25 cm x 25 cm (16 plants/m2 without inserting maize) as a control, and H2 = 25 cm x 25 cm (16 plants/m2) with a maize plant insert of 64 plants, Middle density (M) = 25 cm x 50 cm (8 plants/m2) with a maize plant insert of 80 plants, and Low density (L) = 50 cm x 50 cm (4 plants/m2) with a maize plant insert of 100 plants. The insertion of maize plants is 1 plant for every 10 cm of density. Both elephant grass and maize will be harvested at the age of 90 days after planting. Growth and biomass production of elephantgrass odot variety and bisi-16 maize variety increased with decreasing density and increasing insertion of maize plants from high, medium and low density. Double cropping between elephantgrass variety of Odot and maize variety of bisi-16 became an excellent blend of plants in producing forage beef cattle. Low density (50 cm x 50 cm) on elephantgrass variety of odot with insertion of 100 maize plants (1 cm/1 maize seedling) resulted in a high stocking rate as sustainable beef cattle feed.

Abstract

Improvement of Establishing Method in Normal and Dwarf Varieties of Elephantgrass Forage Field. For determining the establishment method by transplanting nodal positions of tiller bud were compared in a normal (cv. Wruk wona) and two dwarf varieties (dwarf-early type, DE and dwarf-late type, DL) of Elephantgrasses. The position of tiller bud measured was odd number from 1 to 19 in Wr and DL by dividing into two nodes, and every number from 1 to 10 in DE by dividing into a single node because of a limited number of tiller buds per tiller. The order of internode dry matter weight (DMW) was larger in dwarf DE followed by normal Wr and dwarf DL. Percentage seedling emergency (PSE) was larger in dwarf varieties than normal Wr. Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah Memberikan pelatihan kepada masyarakat desa khususnya ibu-ibu tentang pembuatan bakso home made yang  bahan dasarnya mudah didapat dan sering jadi limbah,. Terkait dengan perannya terhadap pemantapan ketahanan pangan hewani dan pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat pedesaan serta memacu pengembangan wilayah. Ikan di kenal sebagai biota laut yang sangat di gemari yang menghasilkan daging maupun telurnya digemari oleh masyarakat. Selain harganya relative murah, ikan merupakan sumber protein yang baik, karena mengandung asam amino essensial yang lengkap dan dalam perbandingan jumlah yang baik. Salah satu (by product) yang di hasilkan dari laut selain danau  adalah ikan dengan berbagai macam jenis. Data statistik pertanian tahun 2003   menunjukkan bahwa produksi ikan Gorontalo sebanyak 973.000 ton selama tahun 2019. Gorontalo Utara merupakan daerah penyuplai ikan kedaerah Sulut Usaha pemanfaatan ikan dan tepung sayur gedi belum pernah dilakukan sehingga kemampuan penyediaan pangan yang murah dan berkualitas masih rendah. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Tibawa Kabupaten Gorontalo.  Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukan bahwa Program kerja KKN Kampus Merdeka yang terdiri dari, pelaksanaan sosialisasi tentang pelatihan pemanfaatan tanaman pangan dan pangan hewani menjadi suatu pangan yang memiliki kualitas gizi tinggi yang dapat di manfaatkan pada masa pandemi. Bakso dengan bahan dasar ikan dapat dijadikan kreasi untuk menjadi makanan jajanan yang bergizi yang dicampur dengan sayuran berwarna atau pewarna makanan yang alami yang banyak ditanam dan dijual di pasar, sehingga bias menambah variasi warna yang alami untuk bakso. Daun gedi sebagai bahan tambahan pada bakso ikan memberi pengaruh terhadap kualitas bakso, baik pada organoleptik (warna, aroma, tekstur, maupun rasa), dengan konsentrasi 400 gr masihdapat diterima panelis ataupun konsumen.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kecernaan in vitro (kecernan bahan kering dan kecernaan bahan organic) silase pakan komplit berbasis jerami jagung organic sebagai pakan sapi potong. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan 2 tahap. Tahap pertama adalah pembuatan silase dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni - Juli 2018 di lahan penelitian Desa Bongoime Kecamatan Tilongkabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Tahap kedua adalah analisis in vitro, dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kimia dan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Hasanuddin, Makasar bulan Maret 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan penelitian adalah R0 = kontrol (bahan silase tanpa pupuk), R1 = bahan silase menggunakan jerami jagung yang dipupuk dengan 100% pupuk organik, R2 = bahan silase menggunakan jerami jagung yang dipupuk dengan 50% pupuk organik + 50% pupuk anorganik, dan R3 = bahan silase menggunakan jerami jagung yang dipupuk dengan 100% pupuk anorganik. Parameter yang diukur adalah kecernaan bahan kering dan kecernaan bahan organik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kecernaan bahan kering dan kecernaan bahan organic silase pakan komplit. Kecernaan in vitro bahan kering dan bahan organic tertinggi dicapai pada perlakuan bahan silase menggunakan jerami jagung yang dipupuk dengan 100% pupuk anorganik

Abstract

The purpose of the Thematic Village Community Service Program is to increase the knowledge and skills of the community in processing and utilizing surrounding food crops into food that has high economic value. The output that will be produced is in the form of processed food derived from ginger and moringa. The Thematic KKN-Thematic to build this village has been carried out in Bubode Village, Tomilito District. Several program activities that have been carried out at the location of the activity are the program for making Garbage Trays, Village Boundaries and PKK Hearts. The method used is empowering the target group including learning techniques in the form of providing theory and simulation to the target community and then direct practice with students and the community. Keywords: SDGs, Community Empowerment

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) analyze the responses of farmers on small business farm beef cattle livestock in Gorontalo District, 2) analyze the feasibility of small business farm beef cattle livestock in Gorontalo District, 3) analyze the estimated increase of beef cattle production in Gorontalo District. The research method that used is survey method. The data analysis used in this research are descriptive analysis, feasibility analysis, and forecasting analysis. The result of this research showed: 1) The development of beef cattle business is an industry in the field of agribusiness with no limited. Beef cattle farmers said this business could give a huge profits. It can be seen from people welfare that increased, this business does not require a large cost from the technical point of view (cost of facilities and infrastructure), 2) Based on financial analysis aspect of beef cattle livestock is feasible to develop. 3) The result of forecasting analysis can be seen that there will be increased production for the Year 2017-2019 at all intervals except at 1-2cows. Abstract

Apart from being a bioaccumulator, several studies have also proven that water hyacinth has the potential to be an ingredient for animal feed and organic fertilizer because it contains amino acids and other nutritional elements. This research consists of 2 stages. The first stage is the effect of using several probiotics for fermented water hyacinth on nutritional quality and fiber fraction. The 4 types of probiotics used were liquid organic supplements (SOC), burger feed sauce (SBP), microbacter alfaafa 11 (MA-11), and effective microorganisms 4 (EM-4). The use of a liquid dose of each probiotic is 5 ml/1 kg of fresh water hyacinth. The second stage is the effect of the use of probiotic levels of SOC on the nutritional quality and fiber fraction of fermented water hyacinth. The levels of SOC probiotics used were 5 ml, 10 ml and 15 ml for every 1 kg of fresh water hyacinth ingredients.The use of 4 types of probiotics, namely SOC, SBP, MA-11 and EM-4, had a significantly affected in increasing the nutritional content of fresh water hyacinth ingredients, were the percentage of protein, the percentage of crude fat and the percentage of extracts without nitrogen. In this study, the 4 probiotics were able to reduce the fiber fraction, were acid detergent fiber, neutral detergent fiber, hemicellulosa, cellulose and lignin, and also changing the structure of the fiber fraction where the fresh water hyacinth material is a recommendation to be used as an alternative to beef cattle feed. The nutrient content and fiber fraction of the fermented water hyacinth is close to the nutrient content and fiber fraction of natural grasses. The increasing use of probiotic SOC levels will also increase the content of crude protein, crude fat and extracts without nitrogen from 5% to 15% SOC levels. In the fiber fraction, namely hemicellulose, cellulose and lignin in general, the results were significant only at the 5% level.
