Abstract

Deterjen merupakan salah satu hasil produk teknologi dengan menggunakan bahan kimia pengaktif permukaan (surfaktan) Alkyl Benzene Sulfonat (ABS) sebagai penghasil busa. ABS memiliki efek destruktif (buruk) terhadap lingkungan yakni sulit diuraikan oleh mikroorganisme, sehingga diganti dengan bahan aktif yang memiliki sifat lebih ramah lingkungan yaitu Linier Alkylbenzene Sulfonate (LAS). Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pengaruh komplek Linier Alkyl Benzene Sulfonate (LAS) dan logam kadmium (Cd) dengan berbagai variasi konsentrasi terhadap absorbsi, akumulasi dan toksisitas logam kadmium (Cd) pada ikan mas (Cyprinus Carpio L). Sampel yang digunakan adalah ikan Cyprinus carpio L. dengan usia kurang lebih 3 bulan dengan asumsi bahwa ikan sudah berkembang secara seksual (mature). Cyprinus carpio L yang digunakan berkelamin jantan dengan panjang ±15cm dan berat badan ±100 gram. Penelitian ini menggunakan 6 variasi kelompok perlakuan dan 1 kelompok kontrol, maka dengan rumus diatas didapatkan r (ulangan) minimal 4 kali, maka dengan jumlah kelompokan 7 didapatkan besar sampel 28 ekor. Hasil penelitian ini adalah akumulasi lebih banyak ditemukan pada kelompok perlakuan Cd dan LAS. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah didapatkan perbedaan akumulasi variasi perlakuan antara kelompok kontrol, Cd dan kombinasi LAS-Cd. Terjadinya akumulasi logam berat pada berbagai organisme dapat menimbulkan kerusakan pada lingkungan dan kesehatan pada manusia.

Abstract

Ujung Pangkah Gresik is a significant mangrove area with both ecological and economic functions. Ecologically, it prevents seawater intrusion and abrasion, while economically, it supports sectors like tourism, forestry, fisheries, and ecotourism. This research aims to identify mangrove species diversity and zoning patterns in Ujung Pangkah using survey methods to assess diversity, density, dominance, importance value, and zoning. Four species were found (Avicennia marina, Avicennia officinalis, Rhizophora stylosa, Ceriops tagal) with 454 individuals. The diversity value is moderate at 1.86. The highest and lowest densities were 0.52 and 0.01, respectively. Avicennia marina is the dominant species with an importance index of 273.69. The area has a mixed zoning pattern.

Abstract

MSMEs in Blitar City still face difficulties in marketing. Globalization and digitalization require MSMEs to be able to compete competitively in the virtual market. This community service seeks to increase the literacy of MSMEs in Blitar City in implementing the SOSTAC method so that they can compete globally in their marketing. The method used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) to encourage active community involvement, in this case MSMEs with universities as facilitators. Based on the activities that have been carried out, it was found that MSMEs in general are still unfamiliar with digital platforms. The increase in literacy related to SOSTAC triggers MSMEs' awareness to strategize in marketing and explore the features on digital platforms more thoroughly so that this can have an impact on the engagement of online stores of MSMEs in Blitar City.

Abstract

Obesity, especially central obesity is often associated with insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Diabetes mellitus is a disease of the number six cause of death in Indonesia with the proportion of deaths by 5.8%. The purpose of this study was to identify central obesity in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Poly Endocrine Dr. Soetomo Hospital, Surabaya. The study design was descriptive study. The sample was 100 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients taken with purposive sampling technique. The variable was central obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus. The data obtained by interviewing patients and performing measurements on body weight, height and waist circumference. Data were analyzed by interpreting how the description of the variables studied and compared with other studies and theories. The results was the characteristics of patients most were female (66%), level of education was medium, unemployment, most of patient's age was more than 50 years old, 43% for interval 51-60 years old, 43% were 1,50-1,59 meters in height and 28% were 50-59 kilograms and 28% were 60-69 kilograms in weight. According to Body Mass Index (BMI) measure that 54% the patients are normal in average 25,56 8,12 kg/m2. Measurement of waist circumference showed that 73.5% male and 81.8% female patients had central obesity. The conclusions, precentage of patients with type II diabetes mellitus who have central obesity were 81,82% female and 73, 53% male.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Blitar City continue to encounter challenges in marketing. Globalization and digitalization necessitate that MSMEs compete effectively in the virtual marketplace. This service aims to enhance the literacy of MSME participants in Blitar City regarding the implementation of the SOSTAC approach to enable them to compete globally in marketing. The employed strategy is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) to foster active community engagement among MSME stakeholders, with universities serving as facilitators. It was observed that MSME participants, in general, remain unfamiliar with the Digital Platform. The rise in literacy concerning SOSTAC motivates MSME stakeholders to develop marketing strategies and thoroughly investigate the functionalities of the Digital Platform, hence enhancing the involvement of MSME online retailers in Blitar City.

Abstract

Implementasi otomatisasi pengoperasian tower lamp di industri pertambangan menjadi penting untuk meningkatkan efisiensi energi, keselamatan kerja, dan efektivitas operasional pada area kerja malam hari. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PT Antareja Mahada Makmur, Jobsite PT Satria Bahana Sarana, pada unit tower lamp Atlas Copco B6 yang sebelumnya dioperasikan secara manual oleh pengawas produksi sehingga menimbulkan potensi keterlambatan penyalaan, lampu tetap menyala di pagi hari, pemborosan konsumsi bahan bakar, dan risiko keselamatan saat hujan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Quality Control Circle (QCC) dengan tahapan plan–do–check–action (PDCA) yang meliputi identifikasi masalah, analisis akar penyebab, penentuan solusi, perencanaan perbaikan, implementasi, dan evaluasi pencapaian sasaran. Solusi teknis yang diterapkan adalah pemasangan rangkaian timer dan pemanfaatan fitur pengendalian otomatis pada modul Deepsea L401 LC 1003 untuk mengatur siklus start–run–shutdown tower lamp berdasarkan pengaturan waktu (scheduler), termasuk parameter start delay, cooling, mast up/down, serta pengaturan nyala dan padam lampu. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa 23 unit tower lamp berhasil dioperasikan secara otomatis sesuai target, dengan pengurangan jam nyala tidak perlu yang berdampak pada penghematan konsumsi bahan bakar dan potential saving cost sekitar Rp154.854.240,84 per tahun, sekaligus mengurangi kebutuhan aktivitas manual di luar kabin dan meningkatkan keselamatan kerja operator di area front. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi metode QCC dan otomatisasi kontrol tower lamp berbasis modul Deepsea dapat menjadi solusi efektif dan replikatif untuk peningkatan efisiensi dan keselamatan di operasi pertambangan malam hari.

Abstract

This community engagement program aims to address these issues by developing a Digital Talent Pool that integrates youth competencies with the operational needs of BUMDes in Tegalweru Village. Using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the program involved 30 youth members of Karang Taruna and BUMDes training activities focused on digital profile development, personal branding, and the use of freelance work platforms. The results show that 28 out of 30 participants successfully prepared and validated their curriculum vitae (CV). Additionally, 20 freelance accounts were created, of which 3 participants received actual job offers. The program significantly improved digital literacy, expanded youth employment opportunities, and strengthened digital HR governance at the village level. Therefore, the Digital Talent Pool serves as a strategic model that can be replicated to enhance rural economic resilience and foster BUMDes innovation through local talent empowerment
