Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that is quite difficult because it contains calculations, symbols, and abstract concepts. Learning mathematics in SMP Negeri 1 Jenu has never used a mathematics comic. This research is to produce a product in the form of a mathematical comic BTVH (based on Van Hiele's theory). This study aims to: 1) describe the development of BTVH mathematics comics for VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Jenu, 2) describe the quality of the development of BTVH mathematics comics for VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Jenu. This research is a development research with ADDIE model. This model consists of five stages, namely the analysis phase (Analysis), the product design stage (Design), the product development stage (Development), the implementation phase (Implementation), the evaluation stage (Evaluation). BTVH mathematical comics contains 5 story stages, namely stage 1 (introduction), stage 2 (analysis), stage 3 (sequencing), stage 4 (deduction), and stage 5 (accuracy). Data collection instruments are divided into three, namely validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. The results of this study are the BTVH math comics to improve student mathematics learning outcomes. After going through the stages of validation and testing of mathematical comics it was declared very good. The percentage of validity data is 96%, the percentage of practicality data is 90%, and the percentage of effectiveness data is 93%.

Abstract

Siswa tunagrahita mengalami hambatan dan keterbelakangan perkembangan mental jauh di bawah rata-rata, mereka mengalami kesulitan dalam tugas akademik, komunikasi dan sosial. Siswa tunagrahita sedang dan berat biasanya menunjukkan rendahnya perilaku sosial-emosional. Mereka belum terbentuk rasa bekerja sama, tolong-menolong, berbagi, mandiri, percaya diri dan kontrol diri. Rendahnya perilaku sosial emosional dapat diminimalisir salah satunya melalui kegiatan farming gardening project. Program pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SLB C Autis Negeri Tuban dengan sasaran siswa tunagrahita ringan (C) dan siswa tunagrahita sedang (C1). Kegiatan dilakukan melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan penilaian atau evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai karakter dapat ditumbuh kembangkan melalui kegiatan farming gardening project.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop Microteaching learning models based on experiential learning through the role of models and groups (practicality, efectiveness).The design of this research is development research and to carry out this research development methods will be used from Plomp which consists of five stages, namely: (1) the initial assessment stage, (2) the design stage, (3) the realization / construction stage, (4) the test, evaluation and revision stages, and (5) the implementation phase. Furthermore, to assess the quality of the Microteaching learning model based on Experiential Learning, Nieveen's criteria are used to fulfill practice, and effectiveness. The results of the study based on aspects of practicality namely management, lecturer and student activities towards learning using microteaching learning models based on experiential learning through the role of models and groups. with an overall average of 3.5 with very good indicators, the practicality criteria are very practical. Then the results of the above effectiveness data from the tabulation of student learning outcomes, lecturer response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires to learning using microteaching learning models based on experiential learning through the role of models and groups. with a good average learning outcome. The implications of this study will be able to improve the skills of final-level students when they implement a field experience  program at school.

Abstract

Current learning development. involves a process of learning that makes learners ready to compete in the global world through a skill called 21st century skills and students are no exception. The use of technology in learning is very important in facilitating students in quality learning such as the use of smartphones with Android applications in learning. The study aims to determine the feasibility of implementing android-based learning science concepts in elementary schools in elementary school teacher candidates. This research is a qualitative descriptive study to describe the results of an analysis of the implementation of android-based learning of science concepts in elementary schools to prospective elementary school teachers. The research subjects were 10 students who were conducted at the 2018 Class A PGSD UNIROW students using the observation sheet of Android-based learning implementation and supported by student and teacher interview sheets. Based on the results of the implementation of the learning of science concepts in elementary school, it can be seen that all aspects including aspects of the evaluation of syntax, social systems, and the principles of reaction and management have very good results, which are more than 85%. These results indicate that the development of an Android-based learning device that has been carried out is in accordance with the plan created with its implementation in the field.

Abstract

Kemampuan awal 21st century skills mahasiswa PGSD Unirow masih menunjukkan hasil rendah terutama hasil berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dipandang sebagai sesuatu yang penting untuk dikembangkan agar mahasiswa mampu menghadapai berbagai permasalahan di sekitarnya. Pada kenyataannya, keterampilan berpikir kritis sering tidak diperhatikan dan secara umum hanya memperhatikan penilaian dari hasil kognitif. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis android. Jenis penelitian merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Prodi PGSD UNIROW TP 2019/2020 pada semester ganjil, dengan subjek mahasiswa PGSD kelas C berjumlah 47 mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah silabus, RPP, buku ajar (e-book), LKM, tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan respon mahasiswa. Pembelajaran berbasis android dengan pembelajaran kooperatif. Analisis data hasil penelitian yang berupa respon mahasiswa dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis menggunakan indikator yang diadaptasi dari Facione. Hasil penelelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa: (1) penerapan pembelajaran berbasis android dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang ditunjukkan dari nilai rata-rata pada prasiklus, siklus I, dan siklus II lebih dari 30%, 70%, dan 80%, dan (2) respon mahasiswa terhadap penerapan pembelajaran berbasis android memdapatkan respon yang baik dari mahasiswa yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata 88,33%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by efforts to improve scientific literacy skills and build the skills of 21st century students by developing the concept of Android-based science learning devices. Learning device are developed so that students can learn independently, quickly, practically, not limited by time and space, and students are ready to compete in the global world. This study aims to describe the feasibility of developing Android-based science learning tools for college students. This device was developed with a 4-D model by Thiagarajan. The tools developed are: RPP, e-book, LKM and evaluation tools. The research subjects were college UNIROW students who took the Science Concept 2018/2019 course. Collecting data using questionnaires and observations, then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. From the results of the validation and test results, it can be concluded that the learning tools developed are categorized as good, valid and suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

Problem-solving ability is an ability that affects the success of learning mathematics. One that affects problem-solving ability is critical thinking ability. Teachers must know the problem-solving process that students have to improve the problem-solving-oriented learning process. The purpose of this qualitative descriptive study was to analyze the mathematical problem-solving process based on the Mason framework for junior high school students with different categories of mathematical critical thinking abilities. The subjects of this study were 4 grade VII E students of SMP Negeri 5 Tuban with high and low mathematical critical thinking skills categories. The instruments used are written test questions for comparison materials with FRISCO indicators, written test questions for comparative materials in the form of HOTS, and interview guidelines. The results of the study will be analyzed descriptively and qualitatively based on the Mason framework. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that: (1) subjects with the category of high critical thinking skills can solve HOTS questions with cognitive levels C4, C5, and C6 correctly and fulfill all Mason's framework, namely the entry, attack, and review stages; (2) subjects with low mathematical critical thinking skills were unable to solve all HOTS questions with cognitive levels of C4, C5, and C6 and only met Mason's framework, namely the entry stage with complete aspects.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there is still a lack of understanding of students in the material presented, resulting in students having difficulty solving mathematical problems. The purpose of this study was to test whether there was a significant effect on the implementation of problem based learning with a neuroscience approach on the mathematical problem solving abilities of eighth grade students of junior high school. This research is a quantitative study using a pre-test-post-test control group design experiment. The research population was class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Tuban, with the research sample being class VIII B students as the control class and class VIII F as the experimental class and selected using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are tests and observations. The data analysis technique used is t-test. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant effect on the implementation of the implementation of problem based learning with a neuroscience approach to problem solving abilities.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of observations by researchers at MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin Sarang Class VIII-B, where information was obtained that during the Covid19 pandemic students studied online which made students bored and did not understand learning material, especially mathematics. Therefore, making this media is very suitable for learning during a pandemic like this. With media that uses smartphone applications, it is hoped that students will be interested in understanding the concept of learning mathematics, especially in this number pattern material even better. The product produced in this research is an Android-based media for realistic mathematics learning, namely software (software) with the extension *apk which can only be run on the Android operating system. This study uses an R&D model which has 4 stages, namely the define stage, the design stage, the develop stage and the disseminate stage. Research and development is understood as a research activity that begins with research (research) then continues with development (development). Media developed using the construct 2 application. The media that was developed was then tested for validity until it was declared valid and then implemented to determine the practicality and effectiveness of the product.
