Abstract

This research aims to look at the general picture of subjective well-being in terms of cognitive and affective aspects, and the contribution of factors forming subjective well-being to the level of subjective well-being in students of the Psychology study program at University of X. Subjective well-being is explained as an evaluation A person's subjective opinion about their life includes overall satisfaction with life which is characterized by high positive affect and low negative affect (Diener, 1984). The method used in this research is a qualitative method, using semi-structured interviews. The informants in this research were seven students from the Psychology study program at University of X. The results of the research show that of the seven informants it can be concluded that four of them have subjective well-being which is dominant in positive affect and three informants have subjective well-being which is dominant in negative affect. The percentage of informants who felt positive affect and life satisfaction was higher than informants who felt negative affect. Factors that influence subjective well-being in research include self-esteem, self-compassion, meaningfulness of life, social support, and personality. For further research that is interested in conducting research with the same theme, it is hoped that it will deepen the factors that influence subjective well-being in students, such as gender and age. The informants studied also need to have varied backgrounds

Abstract

Siswa SMA Kelas XII seringkali merasa kebingungan dalam pemilihan karir untuk masa depannya. Hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor dalam diri antara lain faktor realitas, faktor proses pendidikan, faktor emosi, dan faktor nilai pribadi. Berdasarkan faktor tersebut siswa sendiri lah yang mampu membuat pilihan-pilihan karir untuk dirinya. Pemilihan karir akan lebih efektif apabila memiliki kesadaran diri (self-awareness) yang baik. Tujuan kegiatan sosialisasi ini tentu saja berkaitan dengan hal tersebut di mana untuk membantu siswa meningkatkan self-awareness dalam pemilihan karir untuk masa depan siswa setelah lulus dari SMA. Sosialisasi ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab dalam pelaksanaannya. Hasil dari kegiatan sosialisasi ini yaitu setelah siswa diberikan materi terkait self-awareness, siswa mengalami peningkatan self-awareness dibuktikan dengan siswa yang awalnya kebingungan memilih karir menjadi dapat menjelaskan gambaran pemilihan karir yang sesuai dengan dirinya selama satu tahun, lima tahun bahkan sampai sepuluh tahun kedepan.

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming Human Resource Management (HRM), yet its adoption within the unique context of higher education institutions remains underexplored, particularly in developing nations. This study addresses this gap by investigating the application and implications of AI in core HRM functions, specifically recruitment, performance evaluation, and workforce planning, at a public university in Indonesia. Adopting an exploratory qualitative case study methodology, this study sourced data from twelve purposively selected stakeholders, including HR managers, academic leaders, and IT personnel, through semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and non-participant observation. The collected data were systematically analyzed using thematic analysis, revealing a dual impact of AI adoption. While AI integration significantly enhances operational efficiency by automating recruitment screening and supporting data-driven workforce planning, it also introduces critical challenges, including the risk of algorithmic bias, a lack of transparency, and the potential erosion of human judgment in culturally sensitive evaluations. The study concludes that successful AI implementation in academic HRM is contingent upon institutional readiness, a supportive organizational culture, and a robust technological infrastructure. By applying the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and Diffusion of Innovation (DoI) frameworks, this research contributes a nuanced understanding of the factors shaping AI adoption in higher education, underscoring the necessity of a balanced approach that leverages AI's benefits while preserving essential human oversight in university administration.

Abstract

Stress has an impact on uncontrolled negative emotions, which can cause individuals to engage in counterproductive behaviors such as self-harm. Self-harm is someone's act of hurting or even injuring themselves. Self-harm is a self-destructive behavior that individuals engage in to cope with emotional pain. Teenagers experience this condition more often than anyone else. Female students often encounter adolescents with similar conditions. This paper aims to determine the forms of self-harm behavior among teenage female students at boarding schools in Central Java. This study employs a qualitative research methodology with a phenomenological approach. The main subjects were three female students aged 18–21 who had engaged in self-harm behavior for at least five days or more and had been doing so for several years, as well as three supporting subjects. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and documentation. According to the research results, all subjects tend to self-harm when they feel pressure or have problems. Other significant research further confirms this. Adolescent female students who commit self-harm find comfort in themselves. External relationships do not provide such comfort. In research subjects, the symptoms of self-harm behavior are described as physical symptoms, psychological symptoms, and social phenomena. Meanwhile, factors that influence teenage female students to commit self-harm include genetic factors, biological factors, environmental factors, and psychological factors.

Abstract

Tak sedikit mahasiswa di Universitas Sahid Surakarta yang memutuskan untuk bekerja mulai dari kelas karyawan bahkan kelas reguler. Keputusan bekerja mereka ambil sendiri, karena terdapat beberapa yang ingin mereka capai seperti untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan bahkan hanya untuk menambah uang saku saja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini merupakan untuk mengetahui gambaran penerimaan diri mahasiswa Universitas Sahid Surakarta yang bekerja. Bagaimana cara mereka membagi waktu berkuliah dengan bekerja. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Sahid Surakarta yang bekerja. Dalam penelitian ini hanya mengambil 3 subjek saja yang dimana pertanyaan yang diajukan mendalam. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa semester 4 dan semester 8. Kata Kunci: Penerimaan Diri

Abstract

AbstractThe rapid advancement of information technology was not enough to bring change in the attitude of the mothers in applying good parenting on their children. There are still many women who apply parenting capital only a myth or hereditary habits. The impact of the low level of understanding about parenting maternal age, especially toddlers 0-12 months of this should be a serious concern of all parties concerned, as stem from the application of good parenting toddlers that we can prepare the next generation of quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the parenting toddlers of mother target groups Program BKB aged 0-12 months during which also evaluated from the perspective of communication. This study was designed using a "Research and Development". Results of this study when viewed from the perspective of communication, communication models on parenting toddlers applied by mothers of the target group in the success of the family development program of children aged 0-12 months are interactional model.AbstrakMajunya teknologi informasi tidak cukup membawa perubahan dalam sikap ibu dalam menerapkan pola asuh yang baik bagi anak-anak mereka. Masih banyak wanita mengasuh berdasarkan "mitos" atau kebiasaan turun-temurun. Dampak dari rendahnya tingkat pemahaman tentang pengasuhan, terutama balita 0-12 bulan ini harus menjadi perhatian serius dari semua pihak.Pasalnya, hal ini terkait dengan mempersiapkan generasi masa depan berkualitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan pola pengasuhan balita kelompok sasaran Program BKB berusia 0-12 bulan yang dievaluasi dari perspektif komunikasi. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan "Research and Development". Hasil penelitian ini adalah jika dilihat dari perspektif komunikasi, model komunikasi pada pengasuhan balita yang diterapkan oleh ibu dari kelompok sasaran keluarga anak usia 0-12 bulan adalah model interaksional.Keywords: Interactional models, BKB Program, Parenting Toddlers.

Abstract

Healing yang beredar di media sosial menujukkan konten yang berisi aktivitas berlibur dengan jalan-jalan ke tempat wisata, menikmati kopi di kafe. Kata healing berasal dari bahasa inggris yang berarti kesembuhan, penyembuh, menyembuhkan, penyembuh. Sedangkan menurut istilah, healing sering digunakan sebagai salah satu metode penyembuhan yang mengalami gangguan fisik maupun psikis. Metode dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara ceramah dan dihadiri oleh siswa SMA N Gondangrejo, khususnya kelas XI IPS 4. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari pengabdian ini yaitu efektifitas pemahaman para siswa mengenai arti self healing, kapan melakukan healing, dan cara penanganan ketika memiliki luka batin. Para siswa memahami bahwa healing tidak perlu menggunakan uang.

Abstract

Background: Anemia is a health condition caused by genetic factors, infectious disorders, and the environment. Lead exposure increased the risk of anemia, with several sources including cigarette smoke, motor vehicle exhaust, pesticide residues, and contamination from synthetic textile dyes. Mothers with anemia frequently give birth to children who also experience the same condition, thereby disrupting growth and development and causing behavioral disorders. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the relationship between maternal anemia and behavioral disorders in early childhood in areas with high lead exposure. Methods: A cross-sectional analysis was conducted, and samples were selected using purposive non-random sampling. This study included 16 early childhood education (PAUD) students, 16 parents, and 4 PAUD teachers. Data analysis included descriptive and correlational analyses using SPSS 23. Results: The results showed a correlation between maternal hemoglobin levels and emotional and behavioral disorder scores (-0.508, p < 0.05), as well as autism risk detection (-0.610, p < 0.05). There was also a correlation between the pre-screening child development questionnaire and autism risk detection scores (-0.525, p <0.05).. Conclusion: Mothers with anemia tend to give birth to children who also develop the same condition. The condition disrupts growth and development in children, contributing to behavior disorders.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has had a significant impact on various educational practices, including Islamic education, which are currently required to be more adaptive, contextual, and responsive to the demands of the digital era. This research aims to explore teachers’ perspectives on the concept and implementation of progressive Islamic education in forming a resilient generation. Progressive Islamic education, as defined in this study, is an approach that integrates Islamic values with 21st-century competencies, while emphasizing holistic development in the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social dimensions. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological method involving 12 teacher informants with diverse educational backgrounds. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using thematic coding to identify patterns of meaning in teachers’ experiences and interpretations. These findings reveal that teachers view progressive Islamic education as a dynamic and open framework that encourages critical thinking, fosters a contextual understanding of Islamic teachings, and promotes the cultivation of ethical and social responsibility. Teachers also emphasize their role as facilitators who guide students in forming values, rather than simply transmitting religious doctrines. However, challenges remain in practice, including limited digital infrastructure, curriculum rigidity, and persistence of conventional pedagogical models. These results provide implications for systemic support and pedagogical innovation to strengthen the implementation of progressive Islamic education. This research contributes to the discourse on Islamic education reform, aligning spiritual values with the realities of digital transformation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi coping yang digunakan oleh guru Sekolah Luar Biasa dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan saat mengajar anak berkebutuhan khusus. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologis yang menekankan pemahaman mendalam terhadap pengalaman subjektif guru dalam konteks nyata dan keseharian profesional mereka. Partisipan penelitian terdiri atas lima guru dari SLB Anugerah Colomadu, yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria pengalaman mengajar, keterlibatan aktif di sekolah, serta kesediaan berbagi pengalaman secara terbuka dan reflektif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi non-partisipatif, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan tematik untuk menemukan pola-pola makna dalam pengalaman guru. Hasil menunjukkan guru menerapkan dua bentuk utama strategi coping, yaitu problem focused coping dan emotion focused coping. Bentuk coping diwujudkan melalui diskusi dengan rekan sejawat, penguatan hubungan positif dengan orang tua peserta didik, refleksi diri, aktivitas spiritual, serta penerimaan terhadap kondisi kerja sebagai bentuk pengabdian dan tanggung jawab moral. Strategi ini terbukti membantu guru dalam mengelola tekanan emosional, menyeimbangkan tuntutan profesional dan personal, serta meningkatkan ketahanan psikologis dalam menjalankan peran mereka. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa dukungan sosial, baik internal maupun eksternal sangat penting sebagai fondasi bagi penguatan kapasitas guru menghadapi kompleksitas pembelajaran, dinamika emosional, dan tuntutan profesional di lingkungan SLB.
