Abstract

Islamic higher education faces significant challenges in adapting to the demands of globalization, technological advancements, and sociopolitical changes. These challenges highlight the need for transformative management approaches that align institutional goals with the development of graduates who embody strong Islamic character and global competencies. Previous studies have identified gaps in integrating Islamic values across all aspects of governance and education, including curricula, organizational culture, and professional ethics. This study aims to address these gaps by exploring transformative management practices in private Islamic universities in Batam, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative research approach with a phenomenological perspective, the study gathered data through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that transformative management requires not only curriculum innovation and the integration of Islamic principles but also sustained training for educators and effective use of technology to enhance teaching quality and institutional competitiveness. Despite these efforts, challenges such as limited human resources, insufficient funding, and resistance to change hinder full implementation. The study underscores the importance of cross-sector collaborations involving governments, educational institutions, and Islamic organizations to overcome resource constraints and foster innovative practices. The implications are profound, offering a framework for creating educational environments that balance academic excellence with the moral and spiritual growth of students. In conclusion, this research contributes to the development of management strategies for Islamic higher education that are holistic and inclusive, laying the groundwork for institutions to serve as agents of transformation within society while maintaining their Islamic ethos.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia adalah sesuatu hal sangat penting dalam manajemen pendidikan islam. Perlu diingat oleh semua pihak betapa pentingnya sumber daya manusia dalam menentukan kesuksesan manajemen madrasah adalah kualitas para pendidik. Hakikat pemberdayaan terletak pada diri sendiri. manusia hanya berperan sebagai pendorong pada faktor eksternal tubuh manusia dan hanya berfungsi sebagai rangsangan timbulnya semangat, perasaan, atau motivasi dalam diri manusia untuk meningkatkan dirinya sendiri, mengelola diri sendiri, dan tumbuh sesuai dengan bakat yang dimilikinya. Meskipun perkembangan teknologi meningkat pesat, peningkatan kualitas pendidik tetap menjadi kuncinya dalam kemajuan pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Madrasah Aliyah Plus Keterampilan Hasanah Pekanbaru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan observasi terhadap program pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah Madrasah Aliyah Plus Keterampilan Hasanah Pekanbaru telah melaksanakan program pengembangan Sumber daya manusia secara komprehensif, namun masih terdapat kendala terkait alokasi anggaran masih minim untuk menyiapkan pelatihan atau workshop berkualitas dan juga masih kurangnya motivasi diri sebagian guru. Solusi yang diberikan adalah dengan melakukan berbagai kerjasama dengan lembaga eksternal sekolah dan juga guru didorong untuk mengikuti pelatihan-pelatihan online.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan adalah sebagai wadah untuk memproduksi jasa pendidikan dan konsumen utamanya adalah siswa atau mahasiswa. Jika produsen tidak mampu memasarkan hasil produknya karena beberapa hal diantaranya mutu produknya tidak disukai oleh masyarakat, tidak memberikan nilai tambah, layanan tidak memuaskan, maka produk yang ditawarkan tidak akan laku, sehingga sekolah ditutup karena ketidakmampuan para pengelolanya. emasaran pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan daya tarik dan daya saing lembaga pendidikan Islam, khususnya di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan strategi pemasaran pendidikan berbasis 7 P (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process, dan Physical Evidence) dalam konteks pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus di salah satu SMP Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Product berupa program unggulan berbasis keislaman, Price yang kompetitif dan terjangkau, Place yang strategis, serta Promotion yang aktif melalui media sosial dan kegiatan komunitas mampu menarik minat peserta didik baru. Selain itu, pengelolaan People seperti tenaga pendidik berkualitas, Process yang berfokus pada pelayanan prima, serta Physical Evidence berupa sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung pembelajaran, turut berkontribusi pada peningkatan citra dan mutu sekolah. Kesimpulannya, penerapan 7 P dalam pemasaran pendidikan Islam memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan jumlah peserta didik dan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap sekolah.

Abstract

An educational institution must engage in marketing as it becomes mandatory. An educational institution's marketing function should be implemented with the intention of improving the institution's reputation and attracting new students. Social media plays a significant part in marketing as a networking platform. This is due to the potential communication function of social media. Therefore, an educational institution must implement a marketing strategy to keep and pique the attention of parents and the community by implementing a digital-based marketing strategy through social media. The goal of this study is to investigate and evaluate social media-based digital marketing methods for educational institutions at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Raudhatul Islamiyah. This study used a qualitative approach combined with a descriptive analysis technique. direct interviews with important parties, including teachers, school officials, and social media managers. The study's findings demonstrate that social media in the forms of Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube are utilized to promote educational institutions at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Raudhatul Islamiyah. Whereas Whatsapp is used to answer questions from guardians and prospective student guardians which is used as a medium to communicate directly in order to register prospective students via online.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the leadership strategy used in improving members' skills and to find out the stages and inhibiting factors of activities related to improving the skills of members in the Organizational Special Activity Unit of the Indonesian Red Cross Voluntary Corps at UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi Higher Education. This research is field research, namely by collecting data in the field. This study uses interview techniques, observation, and interviews. The research results show that the Indonesian Red Cross Volunteer Corps Leadership Strategy to Improving Member Skills, namely providing teaching material and practice in accordance with the skills in their respective fields. The stages of activities involved in improving members' skills are basic room education and training, field education and training, permanent member education and training, joint training with Basarnas, basic organizational leadership training, and weekly member training. As for the supporting factors, the leader always instills a positive spirit in the members in the process of improving their skills of the members. While the inhibiting factors are first, the implementation of the role of administrators is not in accordance with basic organizational leadership training, second, some members have not been able to manage time between academics and organizations so members tend to do excessive activities, and third, regarding campus funding for organizational activities sometimes not according to what the manager said.

Abstract

Evolusi institusi pendidikan Islam dari konsep tradisional ke arah modernisasi pendidikan adalah sebuah perubahan penting dalam konteks pendidikan di era global. Penelitian ini menyelidiki bagaimana institusi pendidikan Islam beradaptasi dengan tantangan zaman, khususnya dalam menghadapi kemajuan teknologi dan globalisasi yang berdampak pada berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian literatur, di mana semua data diperoleh melalui buku dan jurnal akademik, lalu data dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikannya, dan menarik kesimpulan. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pergeseran institusi pendidikan Islam dari tradisional ke modern merupakan suatu kebutuhan untuk memastikan relevansi dan kontribusi lembaga pendidikan di era global. Melalui penyesuaian kurikulum, pembaruan metode pengajaran, pemanfaatan teknologi, perbaikan manajemen, pengembangan tenaga pengajar, serta kerjasama dan kemitraan, pendidikan tinggi Islam dapat mencapai mutu yang setara dengan standar internasional. Berbagai tantangan yang ada perlu diatasi dengan strategi yang tepat supaya evaluasi ini dapat berlangsung dengan efisien dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between interpersonal communication, physician competence, and work commitment to the effectiveness of internship programs in Jambi Province. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, and involves 60 respondents who are participants in the internship program. The data analysis technique used was correlation analysis with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of the study showed that there was a partial positive relationship between interpersonal communication, physician competence, and work commitment with the effectiveness of the internent program. Simultaneously, the trhee variables also had a significant influence on the F table of 4.01. These findings show that the effectiveness of the implementation of the internship program is greatly influenced by the quality of interpersonal communication, professional competence , and the work commitment of the magical participating doctors. The implications of this study show the need to increase interpersonal capacity, professionalism, and work loyalty of doctors to maximize the results of internship programs as an integral part of education and health services in Indonesia.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental pillar in shaping a superior and character-driven generation, with boarding schools providing a unique 24-hour integrated learning and living environment that acts in loco parentis. This study examines the implementation of service quality in Islamic boarding schools in the Riau Islands Province and its influence on academic achievement, focusing on SMPIT Assakinah Tanjung Pinang, SMPS Al-Himmah Karimun, and SMP BP Tahfidz Attaubah Batam. Service quality in this context is defined as a student-centered paradigm that integrates academic, pastoral, and social dimensions. Drawing on perspectives from Crosby, Sallis, and Brewster, quality is measured by responsiveness to needs, continuous improvement, and the integration of academic rigor, pastoral care, and co-curricular enrichment. Academic achievement, as described by Bloom, is shaped by cognitive, affective, and environmental factors, where the structured environment of boarding schools can maximize outcomes. This research employed a qualitative case study approach with data gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation, analyzed using an interactive model. Findings reveal that service quality is implemented through four stages: (1) conceptualization with a vision integrating national and diniyah curricula; (2) implementation involving active learning, dormitory services, extracurricular programs, and Islamic character building; (3) improvement via SWOT-based evaluation, facility upgrades, teacher development, and digitalization; and (4) continuous evaluation for relevance and effectiveness. The study concludes that comprehensive, integrated service quality is a decisive factor for success in boarding schools. Effective service quality fosters both academic achievement and the development of religious, independent, and morally sound students. By applying Total Quality Management principles, Islamic boarding schools can establish an optimal educational ecosystem, producing a superior and globally competitive generation rooted in Islamic values.

Abstract

The quality of education is influenced not only by the competence of educators but also by the availability and effective management of adequate facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to examine the management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of education at Nurul Ilmi Integrated Islamic Junior High School, Jambi City. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that facilities and infrastructure management is carried out optimally through systematic planning, stakeholder involvement, alignment with school needs, and compliance with regulations such as the Ministry of Education’s guidelines and BOS funding provisions. Procurement is conducted in stages based on real needs and coordinated with the relevant teams to ensure efficiency and accountability. Available facilities including comfortable classrooms, laboratories, a digital library, a school mosque, and sports areas significantly contribute to effective learning and the formation of students’ Islamic character. This study concludes that well-planned and coordinated facilities management serves as a key strategy to enhance educational quality in integrated Islamic schools.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: Pembekalan Kinerja Guru Iklim Belajar Pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah suatu konsep yang menekankan keterlibatan aktif universitas, fakultas, mahasiswa masyarakat di sekitarnya. Di latar belakangi dari permasalahan kinerja guru yang lemah dapat mempengaruhi kualitas pendidikan dan cita cita sebuah lembaga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan kepada tenaga pendidik terkait pelaksanaan kinerja guru yang baik sesuai ketentuan, sehingga dapat diimplementasikan dalam proses pendidikan dan pengajaran di lingkungan sekolah Madrasah Aliyah Laboratorium Swasta Kita Jambi sehingga dapat membentuk iklim pembelajaran yang positif sesuai yang dicita citakan Madrasah. Metode PKM ini menggunan Pendekatan Asset based Community Development (ABCD) dengan metode ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Pendekatan ABCD ini adalah satu pendekatan yang dilaksanakan untuk pengembangan masyarakat. Hasil Implementasi kegiatan pembekalan ini berhasil menarik perhatian para guru dalam menerapkan sekolah yang dicita-citakan yakni, sekolah yang mampu menerapkan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa dengan membangun iklim kerja yang aman, inklusif di sekolah serta pendidik yang mampu merefleksikan ilmu dengan baik dengan cara berbagi dan berkolaborasi secara efektif dan kondusif dengan berbagai pihak, yakni siswa dan sesama guru. Meningkatkan Kedisiplinan dan kemampuan kepribadian yang dapat menjadi teladan bagi anak didik di sekolah
