Abstract

Berdasarkan latar belakang pada penelitian ini, peneliti mengidentifikasi masalah sebagai berikut, kurangnya kemampuan motorik kasar pada anak yang disebabkan dalam pembelajaran guru kurang berinovasi dalam memberikan pembelajaran yang melibatkan motorik kasar pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan tradisional engklek terhadap kemampuan motorik kasar anak, sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatment. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest-Posttest. Pengambilan sampel  menggunakan teknik Sampling Purpose. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa usia 5-6 tahun PAUD Darul Ilmi Desa Tebang Kacang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode ceklis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh modifikasi permainan tradisional terhadap kemampuan motorik kasar anak setelah diberikan treatment.Kata Kunci: Permainan Tradisional Engklek, Kemampuan Motorik Kasar

Abstract

Sexual violence that occurs in children's classrooms places them with a significant impact on their health and lifelong well-being. This study aimed to identify the Family Intervention Model's effectiveness on parents' practical communication skills in preventing children from acts of sexual violence in border areas. This research comprised 23 wives and 23 husbands from Kecamatan Sajingan Besar. Qualitative data was collected with observations. During the research, the Parents Effective Communication Scale was used as means of quantitative data collection. The pre-test scale was given in the rapport-building session, and the post-test for the last session of intervention. The data has been analyzed using Wilcoxon Test. The Wilcoxon test showed the Z value is -5.437 with a significance value (p-value) of 0.000. The test significance value (p-value) is smaller than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), so there was a significant difference in parents' effective communication after the intervention.Keywords: effective communication; family intervention models; sexual violence

Abstract

The differences in emotional handling between male and female adolescents lead to differences in the way of thinking, feeling, and behaving. This experimental research used the Emotional Experience Writing (EXPRIT) model as an intervention for 15 orphans (8 male adolescents from the Tunas Melati Orphanage and 7 female adolescents from Tunas Harapan Orphanage in Pontianak City aged 12-18 years). There were rapport-building sessions at the start of the study as well as five intervention sessions. Qualitative data were collected by coding techniques on the subject's writing, and The Emotional Handling Scale was used to collect quantitative data. The data analysis is using paired t test. This study revealed differences in emotional handling abilities between the two groups of adolescents based on gender. The t test scores were higher than the t table in both orphanages. This result shows that the EXPRIT model as an intervention, affects the ability to deal with emotions for both genders in the form of different models of emotional control.

Abstract

7.8% of teenagers in ASEAN including Indonesia and Malaysia reported mostly or always feeling lonely and 31.3% reported feeling lonely sometimes in the last 12 months. This is closely related to the similarities in demographic background and social and cultural background of these countries. This research aims to determine the comparative level of loneliness among students in Indonesia and Malaysia. Loneliness Statistics data states that 43% of young adults aged 17-25 years feel lonely. Initial research interviews showed that students experienced loneliness and felt several things such as not feeling close to people around them, often being abandoned and ostracized, fear of rejection, and so on. A total of 235 Indonesian and Malaysian students living in dormitories were involved in this research. The measurement instrument uses the loneliness scale. The collection technique uses purposive sampling. The research results show that there is no difference in loneliness between Indonesian and Malaysian students. Variable analysis found that the biggest factor causing loneliness in Indonesian students came from within themselves and in Malaysian students the biggest factor causing loneliness came from outside themselves.

Abstract

Kegiatan bermain adalah kegiatan anak-anak yang dilakukan sepanjang hari karena bagi anak bermain adalah hidup dan hidup adalah permainan. Anak usia dini tidak membedakan antara bermain, belajar, dan bekerja. Anak-anak sangat menikmati permainan dan selalu melakukannya di manapun mereka memiliki kesempatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan data atau informasi sebagai salah satu acuan teoretis kepada berbagai pihak yang berkompeten dalam penelitian pengenalan huruf anak usia dini. Metode bermain yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan media pasir dan plastisin. Pasir merupakan butiran kecil yang mudah dibentuk dan menyenangkan bagi anak-anak. Plastisin merupakan adonan mainan yang terbuat dari tepung sehingga menjadi benda yang lunak hingga dapat diremas-remas, ditarik-tarik, ditekan-tekan, dan bisa dibentuk sesuai dengan imajinasi anak. Kegiatan dengan menggunakan media bermain dapat memenuhi seluruh aspek perkembangan anak.

Abstract

Play activities are children's activities that are carried out throughout the day because for children play is life and life is a game. Early childhood does not distinguish between playing, learning, and working. Children really enjoy the game and always do it wherever they have the opportunity. This study aims to provide data or information as one of the theoretical references to various parties who are competent in early childhood letter recognition research. The playing method carried out in this study used sand and plasticine media. Sand is a small grain that is malleable and fun for children. Plasticine is a toy dough made of flour so that it becomes a soft object so that it can be kneaded, pulled, pressed, and can be shaped according to the child's imagination. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis cross-cultural study looked at levels of loneliness that reviewed psychological well-being as a predictor of mental health in students in Indonesia and Malaysia living at the Asrama. Loneliness Statistics states that 43% of 17-25-year-olds feel loneliness and psychological well-being as one of the predictive factors of the level of loneliness. Interviews showed that students felt lonely due to differences and changes in the environment. Feeling alone, hard to adapt, and incapable of growing. A total of 235 Indonesian and Malaysian students live in dorms. Instrument scale with loneliness and psychological well-being. Purposive sampling technique. Independent sample t-test for comparative data analysis of lonely Indonesian and Malaysian students living in dorms. Regression test to see impact of psychological well-being on loneliness. While Malaysian and Indonesian students reported comparable levels of loneliness, the study also discovered that psychological well-being had an impact on loneliness. The implications of this research are that by understanding the importance of improving understanding and implementing psychological well-being effectively, students can overcome feelings, situations and conditions that cause loneliness and have a healthy mentality.ABSTRACTPenelitian cross-cultural ini untuk melihat tingkat kesepian yang ditinjau kesejahteraan psikologis sebagai prediktor kesehatan mental pada mahasiswa di Indonesia dan Malaysia yang tinggal di Asrama. Loneliness Statistics menyatakan bahwa 43% yang berusia 17-25 tahun merasa kesepian dan kesejahteraan psikologis menjadi salah satu faktor yang memprediksi tingkat kesepian. Wawancara awal menunjukkan mahasiswa merasa kesepian akibat adanya perbedaan dan perubahan lingkungan. Perasaan terasingkan, sulit beradaptasi, tidak percaya diri dan tidak mampu mengembangkan diri. Sebanyak 235 mahasiswa Indonesia dan Malaysia tinggal di asrama dilibatkan. Instrumen dengan skala kesepian dan kesejahteraan psikologis. Teknik pengambilan dengan purposive sampling. Metode independent sample t-test untuk analisis data perbandingan kesepian mahasiswa Indonesia dan Malaysia yang tinggal di asrama. Serta, uji regresi untuk melihat pengaruh kesejahteraan psikologis terhadap kesepian. Hasil penelitian menemukan adanya persamaan pada tingkat kesepian mahasiswa Malaysia maupun Indonesia namun ditemukan kesejahteraan psikologis berpengaruh pada kesepian. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa memahami pentingnya meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan kesejahteraan psikologis secara efektif, sehingga mahasiswa bisa mengatasi perasaan, situasi dan kondisi yang menyebabkan kesepian serta memiliki mental yang sehat.

Abstract

Children are particularly vulnerable to sexual violence because they are considered weak or powerless. Research data has found that 20% to 33% of girls and 10% to 16% of boys will become victims of sexual abuse before the age of 18. Kubu Raya Regency recorded that in 2021, there were 74 cases of violence against children and adolescents, which is quite high, with the majority of cases being sexual violence experienced by children aged 6-12 years. This indicates that children need to learn self-protection efforts through the Self-Protection Model. The Self-Protection Model is an intervention model provided as an effort to address the issue of sexual violence against children. This study employs a quantitative experimental design. The study uses purposive sampling, targeting children aged 9-12 years; attending elementary school; and willing and permitted by the school to participate until the intervention sessions are completed, with a total of 10 boys and 10 girls. Data analysis shows a difference in the application of the Self-Protection Model. The results of the Wilcoxon test output "Test Statistics" indicate that the Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.000. Since the value of 0.000 less than 0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. This means there is a significant difference in assertive behavior between the pretest and posttest results, suggesting that the Self-Protection Model has an influence on children as a method of self-protection against sexual abuse. Abstrak: Anak-anak rentan terhadap kekerasan seksual karena dianggap lemah atau tidak berdaya. Data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 20% hingga 33% anak perempuan dan 10% hingga 16% anak laki-laki akan menjadi korban kekerasan seksual sebelum usia 18 tahun. Di Kabupaten Kubu Raya tercatat pada tahun 2021 terdapat 74 kasus kekerasan terhadap anak dan remaja, dengan mayoritas kasus berupa kekerasan seksual yang dialami oleh anak-anak usia 6-12 tahun. Ini menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak perlu mempelajari upaya perlindungan diri melalui Self-Protection Model. Model ini adalah model intervensi yang diberikan sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi masalah kekerasan seksual terhadap anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen kuantitatif dengan sampel purposif, menargetkan anak-anak berusia 9-12 tahun, bersekolah di SD, dan bersedia serta diizinkan oleh pihak sekolah untuk berpartisipasi hingga sesi intervensi selesai. Sebanyak 10 anak laki-laki dan 10 anak perempuan berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Analisis data menunjukkan perbedaan dalam penerapan Self-Protection Model. Hasil dari uji Wilcoxon output “Test Statistcs”, diketahui Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) bernilai 0,000. Karena nilai 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima. Artinya ada perbedaan antara hasil perilaku asertif untuk pretest dan posttest, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh dari Self-Protection Model terhadap anak sebagai upaya perlindungan diri dari kekerasan seksual.

Abstract

Research conducted by Bolen & Scannapieco (2001) indicates that 20% to 33% of girls and 10% to 16% of boys will become victims of sexual violence before the age of 18. This study employed a quantitative experimental design with purposive sampling, involving children aged 9-12 years who attended elementary school. A total of 10 boys and 10 girls participated in the study. The purpose of this research was to examine the differences in assertive behavior between male and female students in response to sexual violence. Based on the Mann-Whitney test results, there was a significant difference in the statistical scores between the group of boys and the group of girls regarding sexual violence. Berdasarkan hasil uji Mann-Whitney terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara skor statistik kelompok anak laki-laki dan kelompok anak perempuan terhadap kekerasan seksual.

Abstract

Remaja dan permasalahannya saat ini perlu menjadi perhatian dari banyak pihak. Hal ini dapat diketahui melalui banyaknya pemberitaan terkait masalah remaja baik di media cetak dan media elektronik. Cepat marah dan agresif merupakan tingkah laku yang terdapat pada remaja. Salah satu faktor penyebab terjadinya agresi verbal berasal dari teman sebaya sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara konformitas teman sebaya dengan agresivitas verbal pada remaja di wilayah pesisir Pontianak. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pengambilan sampel dengan teknik acak kluster. Subjek pada penelitian ini berjumlah 84 remaja di wilayah pesisir Pontianak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05, yang berarti terdapat hubungan antara konformitas teman sebaya dengan agresivitas verbal. Selanjutnya nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) adalah sebesar 0.194 yang diartikan bahwa sumbangan efektif konformitas teman sebaya dengan agresivitas verbal sebesar 19,4%, dan sisanya 80,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini
