Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of technology-accelerated service quality on customer satisfaction on the Shopee e-commerce platform. The service quality variables examined include response time, the presence of platform agents, transaction security, and product availability. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach. The research sample was taken from active Shopee users. The results of the analysis show that all four service quality variables have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Product availability was found to be the most dominant factor in influencing customer satisfaction. In addition, this study also found a new phenomenon where customers not only act as consumers but can also act as platform agents, thus changing the traditional paradigm in determining distribution locations. The implications of this study are the importance for e-commerce companies to continue to improve service quality, especially in terms of product availability and responsiveness. In addition, companies can utilize the potential of platform agents to expand market reach.

Abstract

Elementary school education is a compulsory education and an important stage in the learning process, so choosing a wise elementary school is crucial. The large number of elementary schools in Indonesia, both public and private, has created fierce competition between educational institutions. Especially after the implementation of zoning regulations, private elementary schools have also been affected and some have been forced to stop operating due to a lack of students. In addition to improving the quality of education, schools are required to have an effective promotional strategy to attract the interest of the community as potential customers. One of the promotional strategies that can be applied is the promotional mix strategy. SD Gracia Surabaya, as one of the private elementary schools, also applies a promotional mix in its strategy. Therefore, this study focuses on discussing in depth how the promotional strategy implemented by SD Gracia Surabaya attracts the support of parents. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a purposive sampling technique to determine the research sample. The data obtained consists of primary and secondary data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. To ensure data validity, the researcher uses source triangulation and technical triangulation techniques. After the data is validated, data reduction, data presentation, and verification of conclusions are carried out in the analysis. The results of the study show that SD Gracia Surabaya implements a promotional mix strategy involving advertising, personal selling, and public relations activities.

Abstract

Abstract Aim: This study aims to examine how environmental literacy, green culture, and environmental awareness relate to pro-environmental awareness among university students in Indonesia. Method: A quantitative approach was applied using a structured questionnaire distributed randomly to 124 accounting students at a university in East Java. The questionnaire covered environmental literacy, green culture, environmental awareness, and pro-environmental awareness indicators. The data were analysed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) to test both measurement and structural models. Findings: The results show that green culture is the only variable that significantly influences pro-environmental behaviour, while environmental literacy and awareness do not show direct effects. Implications: The findings imply that strengthening campus culture is more effective than relying solely on environmental knowledge or awareness campaigns. Universities should focus on creating an institutional atmosphere that models sustainable values through visible practices, leadership commitment, and collective participation. Environmental literacy and awareness remain important, yet they must be integrated into daily routines and social norms to drive real behavioural change. In short, sustainability education should move beyond theory and be embedded into the culture of the institution to encourage lasting pro-environmental behaviour among students. Novelty: The novelty of this study lies in its clear evidence that pro-environmental behaviour among university students depends more on the shared cultural environment than on individual knowledge or awareness. While many earlier studies highlighted literacy and awareness as key drivers, this study shows that cultural influence through norms, values, and institutional engagement plays a stronger role in shaping actual behaviour. So, the study adds a fresh perspective to sustainability research and challenges the assumption that knowledge alone can lead to behavioural change.

Abstract

Strategic leadership plays a crucial role in steering organizations through the complexities of a rapidly evolving global landscape. In today's competitive environment, effective leadership transcends informed decision-making and technical expertise, encompassing a deep understanding of the psychological dynamics that influence decisions. This study examines the psychological foundations of strategic leadership, emphasizing the impact of cognitive biases and emotional intelligence on leadership behaviors and decision-making processes. Key cognitive biases such as overconfidence, confirmation bias, and anchoring are explored for their potential to distort leaders' perceptions and strategic choices. Concurrently, the role of emotional intelligence, including self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and relationship management, is analyzed for its capacity to enhance leadership effectiveness by mitigating the adverse effects of these biases. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the research incorporates literature review, expert interviews, and case studies to investigate how cognitive biases disrupt decision-making and how emotional intelligence can counterbalance these distortions. Findings indicate that integrating emotional intelligence training and bias mitigation strategies into leadership development programs significantly improves strategic leadership effectiveness. However, challenges remain in consistently applying these techniques, particularly in high-pressure situations. Therefore, ongoing and dynamic leadership development initiatives are essential to ensure the effective application of emotional intelligence and cognitive bias mitigation in strategic decision-making.

Abstract

Cafe Aola Lamongan, a renowned gastronomic establishment located in the Paciran coastal region, encounters difficulties in sustaining alignment between pricing, service delivery standards, and brand credibility, particularly during peak operating periods that result in patron dissatisfaction regarding delayed service and perceptions of inadequate value proposition. This investigation seeks to analyze the influence of pricing and service delivery on customer satisfaction through the intermediary function of brand trust at Cafe Aola Lamongan. The research employs a quantitative methodology utilizing survey instruments administered to 150 participants, chosen via purposive sampling techniques. Data examination was conducted using Smart PLS software to assess instrument validity and reliability, while evaluating structural connections among variables through path coefficient analysis, t-statistics, and p-value computations. The findings demonstrate that service delivery represents the predominant determinant affecting customer satisfaction, exhibiting a path coefficient of 0.647 and F-Square value of 0.484, whereas pricing constitutes the principal element for establishing brand trust with a coefficient of 0.630 and F-Square value of 0.552. Brand trust substantially mediates the connection between pricing and customer satisfaction with a coefficient of 0.165, and between service delivery and customer satisfaction with a coefficient of 0.087. The study suggests that Cafe Aola Lamongan should emphasize enhancing service delivery through continuous employee development programs, uphold stable pricing approaches to reinforce brand trust, and establish more effective customer flow management systems to guarantee continued patron satisfaction.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, small businesses increasingly depend on technology to enhance efficiency and foster innovation. This study investigates how digital work environments (DWE) influence innovative work behaviour (IWB) among employees of culinary MSMEs in Surabaya, Indonesia, with employee engagement (EE) as a mediator and work distress (WD) as a moderator. Based on the Job Demands–Resources (JD–R) framework, data from 156 respondents were analyzed using SmartPLS 3. Results show that DWE strongly promotes EE, which subsequently drives IWB, confirming partial mediation. However, DWE has no direct effect on innovation, indicating that digital systems stimulate creativity mainly through psychological engagement. WD negatively affects innovation but does not moderate the EE–IWB link. These findings illustrate a dual mechanism within JD–R theory, where digital environments act as motivational resources while distress independently hinders creativity. The study enriches understanding of JD–R dynamics in digitalized MSMEs and highlights the importance of balancing technology, engagement, and well-being to sustain innovation.
